My room had no dresser. When I notified the staff they told me to use hangers in the closet! Try hanging under wear and socks on a hanger!
Coffee station positioned on what looked like a store bought $35 stand against a connecting door. The refrigerator was not in a piece of furniture but on a slightly broken platform. The bathroom step up to the shower was broken in several areas and the shower fills up over your feet since it is not leveled correctly to have a faster drain off. After check out the front office team leader called me and inquired about my concerns, I asked if she inspected the room and she said no she had not. So no sense for me to continue the conversation and I hung up. I personally would not return to this hotel!

I was here to help my son as he was relocating to LB . Rooms were spotless & stocked well with Beekmans products The staff were so helpful and gracious, I was there a week so they greeted name by name. Reuben , the manager even helped me get my rental car of its parking space after the blizzard! Since it was winter and the pool wasn't being used they made up for the resort fee with $30 vouchers for the restaurant and bar. And the staff there was helpful and wonderful as well. All this and right smack dab on the beach and boardwalk near so many great restaurants within walking distance. I can only imagine how magical it would be to stay here in the summer!! Thank you Allegria Hotel !

The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, and I had plenty of room for me and all my ten thousand suitcases. I love that this hotel is cat-friendly - some pet-friendly places only allow dogs. The restaurant and bar are great, with a beautiful view, great drinks, really good food, and a lovely terrace for warmer weather. I WANT TO GO BACK and stay for at least a week, just to relax and explore the town. Thank you.

Overall, this was a wonderful stay. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, with high ceilings, a lovely kitchenette, and a very comfortable, well-designed space. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and polite throughout my stay, which I really appreciated.

The only issue I experienced was being briefly locked out of my room due to a debit card authorization issue. While I understand this is standard policy and the staff handled it politely, it was a bit inconvenient to find out while I was already on my way to the room.

That said, this was the only hiccup during an otherwise excellent stay. The room, amenities, and staff more than made up for it, and I would happily stay here again.

The Fire Alarm went off at about 6:30 pm on Saturday night and it disrupted our stay. Fire Dept was summoned and we were advised to evacuate, then told all was fine. Elevators were shut down and we forced to go down stairs from the 5th floor. SHOULD GET A REFUND!!!

We stayed here for my birthday trip. We had a beautiful room on the 5th floor facing the ocean. While there we went to dinner at the on site restaurant one evening and used the food vouchers the hotel gave us. The staff was nice and the food was delicious. I had the surf n turf mac n cheese. We took a walk on the boardwalk and beach while we were there. Beautiful hotel, beautiful location, amazing staff, from the front desk, restaurant all the way to the cleaning crew. Definitely a must stay.

Our stay at the Allegria Hotel was disappointing from the start. Although the booking stated everything was included, we were charged an additional fee at check-in for “special amenities,” leaving us no choice but to pay since we had nowhere else to stay.

The room was clean but very cold despite the heat being set to 75, with a noticeable draft throughout the night. The shower water was only lukewarm, and the room was extremely small for the price.

We were given a $30 restaurant voucher without being told it had to be used in person and couldn’t be applied to room delivery, which was impossible for us with a small child. The front desk and restaurant sent us back and forth, and no one was able to credit us. The food was also bland and not worth it.

We also asked for a small step ladder to help load our roof rack since ours was broken, but no one could help. The elevators were very slow and often skipped our floor. The only positive was the extra complimentary water. Overall, this hotel was not worth the price and we would not stay here again.

The first night there was construction going on at 9:00 pm...right down the hall. We called the desk and it was stopped...The same night the fire alarm battery expired at 2 am. Tried to call desk and no one answered so we had to listen to that beep throughout the night. The last two days there was no cold water....won't be revisiting. Called the desk and after running the water for 20 minutes we were told there was hot water.....skip this place.

Hotel is being remodeled the first room they sent us to was on a floor that was all torn up and a huge mess. Got to our room and all the furniture was in. The middle of the room, clearly mid-construction. Went to the front desk and they switched us to a different room. That room was ok, but definitely beat up and needing refinishing. No fan in bathroom, and just kinda underwhelming overall. Went for breakfast and there was a very limited menu, nothing that I wanted. Went with a fruit dish that was ok.

I stayed there for four nights and the next week I had a medical emergency and tried to cancel my new one-night reservation, and both the hotel and Hotels.com wouldn't cancel my reservation, or just charge me a 10% cancellation fee. I was charged the full amount and hotel "resort" fees.
I am very disappointed with the Allegria hotel and Hotels.com.

There is no housekeeping service unless you specifically request that you want it. Unfortunately, they keep that a big secret and no one seems to know about it until your towels are dirty, your garbage is overflowing, and no one has been in to tidy up your room. One of the 2 elevators was out of service on both of the days we were there, and the coffee maker in the lobby was also out of service. The "resort fee" is a joke. Aside from that it was OK.

I was very disappointed with my stay . I was really looking forward to my stay. My room was very dirty I was so surprised they would look at this room and approve someone to stay in there. I used a lot of my own cleaning supplies but i shouldn’t have to clean a room myself . Also I lifted the mattress to check for Bed bugs and the mattress was absolutely disgusting under the sheets . No bed bugs though thankfully. We only stayed a couple hours and left . Didn’t even bother taking our suitcases out the car . Needless to say I’ll never stay here again .

In several booking sites, this hotel promotes FREE PARKING. The hotel does not have any free parking. They said that there is free street parking if you can find a free parking spot on the street. We could not and paid $49 for their garage.
Hotel charges $55 + tax for a resort fee, after September, this includes bottle of water in the room and free internet. Without the beach season and the swimming pool, there is nothing RESORT LIKE about this hotel for 8-9 months of the year. They should chatge a fee.
Their website does say that a 1 hour later check out 11am - 12 noon is available with out charge. When requested, this request was repeatedly denied until a supervisor was involved and that person did grant the one hour later checkout. This was specifically part of the $55 resort fee during the ed cold season. We had to fight for this.
The rooms were fine, the restaurant for dinner was a limited menu but passable despite being under staffed.
There just seemed to be a sense of constant disappointment with this hotel.

DONT STAY HERE ⚠️ Terrible Service and Zero Accountability

We stayed at Hotel Allegria and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had.

We paid $50 USD for overnight valet specifically because my wife is pregnant and we didn’t want her walking or stressing about the car. Not only did they never return the vehicle, but I had to walk to retrieve it myself the next morning—completely defeating the purpose of the valet service we paid for.

To make matters worse, they’ve refused to issue a refund and won’t even respond to repeated requests for an itemized receipt. There are additional unexplained charges on my credit card from this hotel, and since they won’t communicate, we still have no idea what we were billed for.

For a hotel that markets itself as upscale, the service was shockingly negligent, especially when it comes to accessibility and guest care. If you're expecting even basic courtesy or follow-through, let alone hospitality, look elsewhere.

This was my 2nd stay at Allegria this summer. It’s a pleasant experience and the rooms are clean and spacious including a large bathroom. The property is well maintained and cared for. Area around is mostly residential but it’s walkable to shops and restaurants and we love that not having to drive all over. Beach access is great and we also enjoyed the rooftop pool. Will definitely return next summer !

Bed was comfy and room was big but very basic and dated. Walls were dirty.

Attended a wedding, there was supposed to be a pre-booked after party, but the hotel had forgotten to book staff for the event. After a lot of negotiation and excessive cash being exchanged the bar remained open (bar staff were great, night manager seemed to be the problem).

Fire alarm went off at 4.30am, everyone evacuated, told that it was a known faulty connection, 40mins later it went off again. Lifts were not restored and the emergency exits had locked. No staff present to assist people getting back to the rooms. No sign of compensation either, perhaps a complimentary breakfast at a minimum would have made sense for a known fault.
