The outside of the hotel did not look like the photo on here however, the reception and the rooms were really clean and modern. The Receptionist who checked us in was very friendly, welcoming and professional. The room itself was bright and clean. There was even a fridge so we could get some milk for coffee. The only downside was a lack of teaspoons in the room for making a drink. There were plenty of shops nearby and it’s on a good tfl route. The parking was very limited but luckily we were able to park on a nearby street as it was a weekend, otherwise the surrounding streets are all permit holders only. The beds weren’t particularly comfy but manageable for one or two nights. Lovely stay though, thank you.

Room a bit in need of some upgrading. Couple of screws in wall above bed that can cause damage if get caught on them. Staff all so friendly especially Syed ( hopefully spelt correctly). Will hopefully be back again as all in all a lovely place to stay

Wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed here as we were attending a concert at Wembley, the pictures looked great and the reviews were okay however when we got into the room, it was like staying in a hostel, a small double bed, a very old fridge and fan on the floor, a tiny cupboard on the floor which had 1 hanger in and the bathroom also wasn’t great. When we returned to the hotel around 11:30pm there were large groups of men at the front of the property smoking shisha pipes, I found this very scary and uncomfortable, the locks on our room door were also broken so I had to put a chair under the door handle, luckily I was staying here with my boyfriend but if it was a group of girls I would have been very worried. It’s a cheap hotel but I would recommend sadly based on my experience.

Good location, over night stop over hotel

This place is a no frills cheap place to put your head down for the night (in my case 6 hours from concert to setting off home)

Its clean, but could do with freshening up/ modernising. The work that has been done isnt finished to the best standard - butbyou know what ive stayed in worse big chain hotel rooms.

On a plus the bed was really comfortable an good size tv was in the room and it had adequate tea/coffee making facilities!

Its big down side is the late night clientel who were sat in the outside seating area on our 'late night' check in. Not a great entrance for any single women or people who were nervous.

The reception staff were however fabulous, very welcoming and helpful.

For a overnight cheap stay it does what it needs to , has free weekend parking and is easy to find, with good access into central London and over to Wembley it does the job - as a holiday /multiple night stay spend a bit more and have a bit more luxury basic.

When booking the hotel it clearly stated it had free parking, on arrival we was told that parking was free after 17:30 so we had to then pay extra to park in another location. I wouldn’t have booked the hotel if we knew no parking was available.

Good base for a trip to Wembley- nightmare in an Uber though as all stuck going the same route - but you should know that they dont serve alcohol at the hotel bar - they have an outside terrace where people can freely smoke pipe though, if that's your kind of thing.

Booked two rooms one had a fan one didn’t one had a fridge one didn’t the bar had no alcoholic drinks and the reception was full of prayer maps and the outside seating area was full of men sat clearing at women as they walked past and made my son and girlfriend so nervous the used the chair provided to block the room door

Arrived back at the hotel with my children from Wembley to find multiple people sat outside dining or smoking hookah pipes. Not conducive to a hotel environment.
Woman who ‘greeted’ me on arrival demanded photo ID and appeared to want to refuse my entry when I explained I would not be allowed to email her my NHS photo pass.

We had a nice stay here. It was near many bus stops and close to shops, dining. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. We had the wrong charging adapters and they went out of their way to get us a couple to use while we stayed. Everyone was very kind.

Check in and check out was really easy. The hotel was easy to find from the tube station and there was a wetherspoons right around the corner. The room was a little run down but everything seemed clean. Perfect for what we needed.

Okay, not great

My sister and I stayed here recently and the experience was okay. The rooms are outdated and hot (no AC in June). It’s about a 12-15 minute walk to the closest tube station, which isn’t horrible but wouldn’t be ideal for someone who needs a closer stop. There were always a lot of men at the restaurant connected to the hotel who we could hear loudly talking and laughing into the night. No one was threatening but it was a little unsettling. The beds and sheets were not super comfortable. If you’re looking for a spot in central London, this isn’t it - it’s about an hour away from the city center by tube. Like I said, the stay was okay - it met our needs - but it wasn’t great.

Location was in a quiet area which was good. 10 minutes walk to the underground station and bus stops are nearby.
The TV was not working. The mini bar was not working. You cannot see anything from the windows as they are tainted. And the bathroom was tiny

It was very dated and there were a lot of broken things in the room.Toilet paper holder looked like someone just ripped it off the wall. There was a weird cabinet thing when you walked in the door that had broken shelves and the toilet paper holder that was no longer on the bathroom! We had to walk thru a crown of men with hookahs smoking at the front entrance door.

This hotel served its purpose, but could have been better. We were a little caught off guard buy the many men outside the front entrance smoking their hookah pipes! The room was very small and dated. The toilet paper holder had been broken off and was in a hutch where you came in the door. The kids and I only slept there and the linens and towels were all clean, so that was a positive. We would not choose to stay here again, but it did serve it’s purpose.

Overall definitely a bang for your buck, the neighborhood is okay, would not hang around there at night, but the TV didn't work, and the room was tiny. often the hookah lounge is loud. Plus is it less than a half mile from two subway lines, easy to get downtown, and next to a grocery store, Staff is ok, overall an alright experience, and if you are on a budget, and don't want to stay in a hostel and in a ok area with good transit access London Star is the perfect

This property is great for the price. However there are lots of vapers downstairs that do bring a lot of smoke into the rooms if the windows are open. I will suggest if thry can move them away from the building. However the staff are verp helpful and courteous too. And the rooms are well cleaned and presentable at that price.

Very dated and scruffy. Decor was 1980’s. Room had a smell of old cigarettes and grubby grease marks all over the walls. Reception staff was more interested in the phone than hotel customers. Overall location is good and room size is decent, but management is more interested in running a Shisha establishment downstairs (which was actually vibrant and busy). Surely for such a small hotel, management could update room by room and give this rough diamond a new shine?

Only a budget hotel and was not expecting too much for the price but it was a bit worse than that. If the hotel comes up in a search that it has A/C then it should be made really clear if you are booking a room without. Would have been fine if Dan was functional. TV had no channels. Walls grimy. Bedding, towels and bathroom all clean

This hotel should not even be an option for people to stay. It is not only unclean but it is unsafe. My party was checked in and out in a matter of 20 minutes because of how disgusting the property was. Everything was dirty and the bathroom was covered in mold. The smell of the room made us all nauseous. DO NOTTTTT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Room was filthy! There was black mould up the bathroom wall and all I’m the shower, the vent in the bathroom was clogged with dirt. The whole room had cream walls and was covered in all sorts of stains, one we joked about looking like blood. I did complain to hotels.com but they couldn’t get through to the hotel after several attempts of contacting them. The rooms are cheap but probably because they aren’t cleaned! Avoid

The walls need desperately repainted in our room, the mini fridge didnt work, and online it said there would be aircon in the rooms which was one of the reasons we chose it but only aircon was in the reception. And most disappointing, our room door didnt lock, we had to prop a chair against the door as the flimsy chain lock was no assurance enough

There was nothing I liked about the hotel. If I could give it all zeros I would. The room key did not work easily- it was a struggle opening and locking the door. There was no bolt for the door. The carpet was not vacuumed well - dust was all around the edges. There was black mold in the shower. The walls and furnishings were in bad repair. There was an extension cord that had been fried. The ac did not work! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Where to start? Walked into the room and the curtain was hanging off the window when telling receptionist she said I’ll report it to the manager. I thought ok I’ll let that slide but then tried to switch the tv on which to much surprise wasn’t working! Again told them and got the same answer!
Asked for an iron as the website says to request one if needed. She says someone has it. There’s 1 iron for the whole hotel.
NIGHTMARE trying to get one! If you thought things couldn’t get worse I walked into the bathroom with marks all over the tiles and a massive cobweb on the wall. Well I just sat down and cried what on earth have I booked us into I thought.
“Premium bedding” as advertised, you’d get better sleep in a sleeping bag.
And as for the “no pet rules” even if I did have a pet I wouldn’t let them sleep in there!

From checking in for a four night stay the rooms were never serviced at all. Beds not made or towels changed. We even had to go to reception to ask for toilet roll. The walls were all marked and scuffed, the window was cracked, not a nice stay.

Honestly one of the worst places I've stayed at: we stayed for 3 nights total & day 1 we noticed some brown stains on one of the duvet covers and went down to inform the staff at the counter and 1 bed only had 1 pillow so we requested a second - hours went by and no-one came up we fell asleep and I had no duvet. In the morning talked to the manager at the desk who said housekeeping will come by, returned in the evening to the room being thr exact same, no cleaning done, duvet still stained and on floor as I refused to sleep with it and then I had to run to Morrisons to buy a blanket as they again stated they had to wait for housekeeping. Also my brothers ring fell under the bed so we moved the bed to get it and found a rat bait box... Sidenote: my sister felt something on her foot the night before and brother heard noises every night, we also saw a dead rat right outside the property on day 2 so can with certainty say there's rats in the hotel. There was also mould in the bathroom and by one of the beds and some rather disgusting stains on one of the walls. Nothing had been cleaned at the time of check in or during our stay and there was dust literally everywhere (which ofc was the least of our concerns but nonetheless worth a mention). I could write so much more but honestly it's the worst ran and dreadful hotel ever, save your money because it's not worth it and please book elsewhere.

Really not impressed with our stay. Looked like they only came in to make the beds and refresh the toiletries but didn’t actually clean anything. Brown stains on the walls, yellow stains on the bedding and red stains on the curtains. Also had crumbs in the bed too. We didn’t have any towels and when I asked for some we still didn’t get any. Didn’t even have a hand towel for when we washed our hands. There’s a hole in the bathroom door which they covered up with wallpaper, the carpet didn’t cover the whole of the floor, the bed frame wasn’t aligned and the kitchen area cupboards were dirty. It did the job because we needed a bed for the night but would not come here again. Was not worth £130 for one night…

Tv didn’t work, damage to bathroom door had been patched up with wallpaper. Website says hotel is a ten min drive from Wembley but this is not the case. Staff were friendly but wouldn’t stay there again.
