The staff was very sweet, but I couldn’t even stay the nights I booked, and the hotel would not grant me a refund. The accommodation was filthy, with strange marks on the walls, the room smelling like someone had chain smoked inside, and the bathroom and lobby smelling of waste. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of refund, particularly because I had to book a last minute alternate accommodation due to the poor conditions.

The receptionists and the people involved in running the hotel were very polite and nice people. The smell in the corridor left a bit to be desired however, that may have been other clients and not necessarily reflective of the hotel. Although basic, it wasn't too bad. If stopping for a night, it does the job, although I wouldn't say I'd be too comfortable staying for longer than that

Great place: very cool.

What attracted me to the hotel was it’s closeness to the Elizabeth Line - roughly five minutes’ walk - and the refrigerator in every room. However, I totally enjoyed my stay - stores, cafes, were close by, and the staff was exceptionally wonderful.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful during my stay. The room was not great because the bathroom wasn’t very clean and the coffee station had a dirty spoon and empty creamer cup and coffee pack that was never thrown out or refreshed. I didn’t realize that on the other side of the do not disturb sign it said “clean my room” sign so until I discovered it my room was not cleaned for 5 days but my bed was made and trash was emptied whether I put the sign up or not. Even after the one day of cleaning the shower still didn’t look very clean and the coffee station was not refreshed. The hotel was on a busy street and was very noisy, the area around the hotel isn’t very clean or nice and isn’t close to any good restaurants. I did like that it was a 8 min walk to a tube station and 5 minute walk to a grocery store. Otherwise it was too far outside London and the bathroom was too tiny. Definitely don’t recommend anyone stay here.

I chose this location for a concert at Wembley and it was great! Easy walk to public transportation; grocery and convenience stores walkable as well. Accommodations were perfect for a solo traveler. Biggest plus was the staff- friendly, helpful, and responsive to any needs.

It was a good hotel for the price, and the staff were really nice. There is no elevator in the property, but the staff let us stay in the first floor so it wasn't an issue. The room was well kept, had a fridge and a fan that kept the room pretty cool.

Very good value for money, considering location and price. Clean but basic rooms, newly fitted bathroom which was good, and very friendly staff.
Only downside was in the morning they had an issue which meant we had no hot water. They did fix it, but only at 11am when we were checking out.
Could have done with another mirror in the room.

The OYO London Guest House was a great option for my overnight business trip to London.
My single room was pretty small, but absolutely fine. Everything was spotlessly clean, and in good condition. It looks like the photos on the website. The shower was very good.
The reception staff were pleasant, and pretty efficient, and the wifi worked well.
The guest house is in a good location for the Elizabeth Line (Acton Main Line station - just 5 mins by foot) and I could reach my morning appointment near Liverpool Street very easily. The neighbourhood is quite residential and felt very safe, and even though the guest house is on quite a main road, there wasn't that much road noise.

Property is located on a very busy street. Police sirens every few minutes. The property itself is very old, in desperate need of modernisation. The floors are creaking with gaps . My door handle actually fell off while I was trying to enter the room I stayed in a single room which smelled. I soon found out what the smell was, all around the bed was damp and dirt. It was obvious that the bed has never been moved and cleaned. Slept in my clothes all night. I am glad I booked for one night only, otherwise I would’ve left and booked somewhere else. This is not a hotel that I would recommend in fact I recommend you avoid it completely.

- Staff were very friendly.
- Housekeeping was a bit OTT, as all our already neatly assorted things had been rearranged from my own OCD layout. Jammies folded and hung up and all. Cables wound up and put in our bags. Plus, toothbrushes were moved.
- Wasn’t any amenities. So dinner time meals were difficult. We had Tesco Meal Deals, 2 days on the bounce lol.
- There’s a £100 deposit which hasn’t advertised well, so I had actually missed that warning and was unaware of its existence until my arrival.

Nice guest house hardly five minutes walk from Acton Mainline station (Elizabeth Line). About 10 minutes walk to Acton - pubs, supermarket, shops.

With the Elizabeth line from Acton Mainline station it is easy and quick to get into the Westend (Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road) and also Paddington and Liverpool Street.

Perfect place to put my head down for the night after seeing a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Ideal base with the Elizabeth line into central London just 5 minutes walk away. I missed the last direct service and had a 20 minute walk from the district line service but I didn’t feel unsafe reaching the hotel.
The staff were always really friendly and the room was more than adequate and very good for the price paid with coffee and tea making, hair dryer, mini fridge and a tv with dvd. Even in November the room felt very warm without the heating, maybe a little too warm! The bathroom was clean and supplied body wash and shampoo.

Broken shower head, broken extractor fan in the bathroom. Kept my £50 security deposit for no apparent reason, the room was left clean & tidy when we left. The fire alarm activated due to the steam after the 3 of us had showers in the morning & the bathroom door was slightly ajar allowing steam to escape. A knock 5 minutes later we were accused of smoking in the room, reiterated our point none of us smoke but that was brushed off & was told if you want to smoke then smoke out the window ha. Even if I did smoke I wouldn't smoke in my own house never mind a residence that isn't mine as the smell is foul. Wouldn't consider returning mainly just due to the facilities in the room.

On arrival, we were made to feel very welcome & was offered complimentary parking. On entering the room, there was a very horrible smell coming from the bathroom, poor sewage smell which was immediately seen to & rectified. We only had one pillow each which was hard & uncomfortable & only realised there weren't extra pillows after getting in close to midnight which was too late to inform reception! Finally, the television didn't work which I reported on checking out. Overall, the room was spacious & clean & had plenty of tea/coffee making facilities 🙂

Was disappointing, I was \"upgraded\" to a double bed instead of a single, but the room was so small it would of been better as a single. No AC, and the heat that the fridge radiated made the room a complete sweat box. Don't think I will be rushing to stay here again.

Very nice service from the day receptionist who was friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. The room was very warm (possibly due to the fridge in the room though and it is July and hot outside) but there was a fan in the room too and they had opened the windows before we arrived. It was nice and quiet and there was a nice outside street side area to sit at to eat a picnic.

We arrived a little early and only had to wait 20 minutes for our room. The room was tiny and extremely hot despite a fan on full blast in the room. The bathroom was clean but you had to sit at an angle to fit on the loo!! There was a fridge but it was in the wardrobe and was a large contributor to the heat in the room. We thought that breakfast was included as we had stayed here before but it wasn’t. Our room was very noisy - apart from the whirring fan on all the time there was a manhole cover in the road outside and we could hear the cars bouncing over it both day and night.
The service was very good despite everything else. Our cases were brought from the car and returned on our departure. There was always someone available to hand in or collect our key.
We were just disappointed overall due to the negative things above and wouldn’t stay there again as a result.

As this was my first solo trip I wanted somewhere quiet and within walking distance of trains and buses. I eventually chose Oyo because I read the reviews and saw that it was a good place to stay.

After staying there for 3 nights I can say that I had an absolutely amazing stay. The room was a good size, bed was super comfortable, the en-suite bathroom was a good size with a really good shower. Fridge, telly and tea/coffee stuff in the room on arrival and topped up every day. I found the place very clean and sanitary. Was nice to stay at a place and not have completely white bedding.

The staff at the guest house are all fantastic too. As it was my first time travelling on my own, naturally I had many questions. It felt like every 10 minutes I was knocking on the office door to ask another question. Every time this happened though, the staff were incredible and helped me so much. From printing off a route to get into central London to actually running to the bus stop to tell me I was at the wrong one. They also booked a taxi for me to get back to Victoria coach station which I appreciated greatly.

Once again, I cannot thank everyone there enough for making me feel welcomed and very safe. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to London.

Great value for money, was just visiting London for a few days and know Acton very well. Great location for those driving as not too central and easy when come from the south west area. A 10/15 minute walk away from Acton High Street with good pubs on. Hosts were lovely and welcoming and kind upon arrival and when coming in and out of the building. Room was small but was expected, had all the essentials you needed and was great value for money. Shower and bathroom were lovely and although the room was quite basic in design, it has everything we needed and was easy to access. Parking behind was a bonus and I could see my car from my window so I knew it was safe. Didn’t sleep great the first night because of outside noise (I’m a light sleeper) but slept great the second night as my body adjusted to the environment. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere easy and cheerful to stay. Photos taken of room on booking were very accurate.

Even though we were only expecting a continental breakfast, the member of staff on duty couldn't do enough to go out of his way to cook us up a few bits, great value for £5 per head!!! The pictures are deceiving. The building is in a residential area. It is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Steep and narrow stairs. The staff was kind and helpful, but they are limited to do the things a hotel staff should be able to do and provide. We arrived and it was EXTREMELY hot in London. The staff didn't have the foresight to open a window a few days before our visit (they said the room hadn't been used recently) and it was close to 85-90 inside the room. There was a tiny fan in the room that barely sounded on. They opened the windows when we arrived but that did nothing. They also put in a \"cooler box\" which is short for a portable air conditioner but it wasn't pumping out any cold air just recirculating stifling hot air. We were traveling with children and had just got of an 8 hour plane ride. I was very, very disappointed in the reality of the room. The beds creaked from the springs as soon as you sat down and moved around. It got so bad that I decided to take the hit and leave the hotel for another one. The manager still charged us for 3 nights which to me was complete theft. We spent a total of maybe 2 hours at the hotel and were out for abut 4 hours and our bags where just in the room. He refused to acknowledge the heat issue and said it was the hottest in London since 1976. If that was the case, you'd think they would have opened the window. Unless you are going in winter and desperately need a no frills place to stay, I would stay away

Nice clean and very friendly hotel,

Clean and tidy, and 5 mins walk from where we where working and a wetherspoon 5 mins walk if your on a budget.
