I used this hotel for a 1 night solo stay visiting Television Centre and it was perfect.

My room was in the basement with no windows (I knew this in advance) but came equipped with air con, kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits, ensuite with soft towels and good quality toilet roll and good WiFi (I streamed Formula 1 no problem).

Staff were friendly and there was a small bar if you wanted drinks or snacks. Also a water dispenser. No breakfast is available. Everywhere was clean.

The location is excellent, directly opposite Shepherds Bush Market and next door to Shepherds Bush Market tube station which is on the Circle and Hammersmith and City lines. It's also a short walk to Shepherds Bush tube station on the Central line.

Television Centre is a 10 minute walk away and the Westfield Centre less than that.

There is a huge variety of shops and restaurants right by the hotel.

For what I paid in London on a Friday night (albeit in March) I thought it was brilliant.

It was adequate place stay close to where I needed to be for workshop. Reasonably priced, clean and staff were very friendly and attentive.
But it was very noisy at night with people on the streets and mostly with rumbling trains going by.

For starters the manager of the properrty could have been more professional. The staff should not sleep on the lobby couch at night. Also, they did NOT know anything about london and told us as visitors to Google. WHO DOES THAT?! It's their job to know about the area. Second, the hotel images of the surrounding area is very misleading. Its the trashy place i've ever seen. Last, the cleaning lady of Friday is very nice!

Decor plus bathroom amenities nothing like what is on the current website. When raised with staff, l was told that the website has not been updated. Therefore I assume the current photos were under previous owners/management and they have cut back.

Dirty, out dated, some staff members were rude. Loud - you can hear the train, people talking in their rooms and hallways.

The place is literally next to the train station and shares an alley way with another building - random people walking behind you to walk through it.

Neighborhood not the greatest at night - stores getting robbed, man throwing bottles to different parts of the streets and panhandlers.

This place serves for a quick stay with pets or as a group for safety purposes.

Upon entering room, I noticed the bathroom was missing a handle on the outside and the inside handle was barely hanging on.
The air conditioning was also broken.
Walls and ceiling aren’t very thick so you can hear people walking above you and people in rooms next to you

Very well located, 30 second walk from Shepherd’s Bush Market station.
Nice check in.
Functional room, small, small bathroom so limited space.
Miniature bathroom sink meant water went all over the floor when doing anything.

One bathroom towel had a hole in it. Tea & coffee in the room, tv and a safe and a fridge so well equipped but no iron.

Nice to have a (very small) hotel bar to get a drink or crisps at reasonable prices but realistically nowhere to sit and enjoy it.

No food or breakfast options but in that part of London, you don’t need it- so many options in the area.

Dog friendly so would totally recommend.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the reception is manned throughout the night, there is a small bar

We would definitely use this hotel again ( I would ask not to be allocated rm1 which backed onto a closed courtyard which housed extractor fans so the towels and our clothes when we left smelt of cooking fat) as it is perfectly situated in a vibrant part of the area, with everything you need.

This was a great little hotel that had everything and was so kind. The room they had wasn’t ready and moved me to a different room which they claimed didn’t have any outside noises from the street, and they were 100% it was so silent it was enjoyable. The bed was comfy, and the small space was perfect for the room, the bathroom was also a nice, clean space. Their customer service from my one night there was great, lots of choices on the drinks bar. It was a great short stay location

I was looking for a good value option for a short stay in option and this place delivered. It was key for me to be able to rest and sleep, which was achieved. The bed was comfortable and while being literally right next to the tube station, it was perfectly quiet which was very welcome.

Literally right next to the station. But the neighborhood is pretty bad, and very hard to park and offload if you travel with a car. The staff was nice enough to let me park at the front overnight though.

Our room was in basement and doesn't have any windows. No ventilation in the room except a pretty weak AC. The loft was out of order and it was inconvenience to the elderly and when you need to carry your belongings with you.

Overall the staffs are friendly and supportive but the amenities and location are not up there

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Shepherds Bush. It was very clean and staff were extremely nice. The hotel is ideally located adjacent to the tube and across the street from some phenomenal falafel. The first room we were shown was below grade and had only a small window through the ceiling to daylight, which set off a bit of claustrophobia in our party. Staff were understanding and moved us to a main floor room that had a window (not operable, as far as I could tell, but it was enough to ease claustrophobia). Overall a very good stay.

Overall the stay was pleasant, we were only booked for one night so the room we had (4 people sharing) was ideal.

At night the property was nice and quiet however in the morning due to us being in the basement area of the hotel it was very noisy above, you could hear all movement above us. Also the plumbing was very noisy so flushing the toilet in the night was a concern for waking others in the room.

We were also surprised to find a member of staff letting themselves into our room at around 0730 which woke us all up.

I would stay here again however i wouldnt want to be in the rooms downstairs

My Lovely London Stay

The hotel is superb. Very accessible to the tube station which is Shepherds Bush Market Station. As soon as you get off the station, turn left and you're there. Very clean and the room I booked was just right for our family of 4 adults. A/C is really good, just what I wanted. The only downside is that you can hear the guests from the corridor when they are going into neighbouring rooms. But in general, the location is good. About 15-20 minutes to King's Cross Station. The staff are all excellent and friendly. It was far more worth the price.I would definitely stay again.

Very good location matching that requirement. Reception staff pleasant and helpful. Although generally clean it was a basic room smelling a bit of damp or poor ventilation. (Room was at back of hotel and while on same ground level as reception seems to be a basement at back.) Shower didn’t drain properly, no plug in sink, no iron or ironing board although rooms should apparently have them. Perhaps I was unfortunate with the room but although a budget hotel still seemed overpriced for what was delivered.

As for the room, it’s good and had great air-conditioning.
Is a bit small but to be expected for London and the price we paid. The soundproofing was excellent as we were a bit concerned about hearing trains, but didn’t hear a thing and was a good nights sleep. Bathrooms are clean and do the job fine. Again a bit small but nothing drastic, was a great stay.

Still well worth it with an excellent location next to a tube station and also opposite shepherds bush msrket station. Would stay here again

The main downside was the smell in the bathroom in the mornings. It was as though there were no traps in the drains allowing all the sewer gases into the room.

The hotel was in a good location right next to the underground, you could hear the trains with the window open but not very loudly. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was tidy. The main issues we had were the smell of damp in the room which you could see was in the carpets as there were two large damp patches, the bathroom also smelt very damp although relatively clean. Also you could hear the room doors clearly opening and closing when people returned at night as the corridors were compact. Also there was no lift we could see which didn’t impact us but it might be good to know for others.

The hotel is small with no lift, not the best area but it is conveniently located near the underground and above ground transportation. It is located in Zone 2, so transportation is a bit more expensive if you plan to spend a significant time doing a lot of touristy things in Zone 1. It's a diverse area with an assortment of places to eat in walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Sufficient for one night, but disappointed in the price for what it was. $230 CAD to be in a small basement room, no natural light, stains on the throw pillows, and the shower head was not sturdy (would not stay up on it's own). That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Warning: Unsafe Invasion of Privacy Incident

I feel compelled to warn others about my recent stay at this hotel, which I found to be unsafe. After leaving my room for an hour, I returned to find my key deactivated. A maid, who smiled at me, used her master key to let me in. When I later returned from lunch, I encountered an alarming situation: the maid entered my room without knocking while I was changing clothes, claiming maintenance needed access. I was shocked and told her to leave, which she did reluctantly.

When I reported this invasion of privacy to the front desk, the response was inadequate—a mere offer of a free drink. This does not address the severity of the issue. The cameras can verify the maid saw me enter my room just before barging in, highlighting her blatant disregard for my privacy.

Additionally, my room lacked a deadbolt or any safety mechanism, leaving me vulnerable to further intrusions. I now feel unsafe and uncomfortable in what was supposed to be an enjoyable stay in London.

Due to this experience, I will be leaving the lowest possible ratings on all travel websites and sharing my concerns widely to ensure future guests are warned about the serious safety issues at this hotel. The worst part? I was told to \"email the manager\", and no one has even bothered to respond. I opened a Hotels.com support ticket and even THEY can't get ahold of anyone.

All areas of hotel that I saw were clean and tidy. My room was in basement; included air con unit which I did not use but would be a boon in summer as no window. Room and toilet/shower clean, bed comfortable and clean. A few odd observations:
Nice looking shallow sink in en suite with hot and cold water plumbed the wrong way round. Kettle wont fit under tap.

But the weirdest thing is that when I returned about 11pm there were a crowd of teenagers sitting on patio smoking spliffs. I assume they were known to hotel staff on reception a few feet away. Quite a risky thing to turn a blind eye to on a licenced premises. I think it would make some guests uncomfortable.

I like the most with the staff members as front desk. They are amazing. I did not Cary my charger for my phone and they provide for me so I was able to charge my phone this was important for me. I was also able to leave my cary on bags so that I was able walk around after my check out. I had very good experience with the hotel. I recommend this hotel. Also was affordable!!

I had a single room in the basement (no windows, no problem) on the 1st of July 2024 as I went to the O2 Empire to watch a band. The hotel is right next to Shepherds Bush Tube station (20 minute ride from Euston Square). the Empire is a short walk away. Access to the hotel is through a single railing gate, to the side of a double gate. Very happy with the Hotel and it suited my overnight needs. The staff are friendly, polite, efficient and helpful. No meals available. Small courtyard to chill in. small reasonably priced bar. Several pubs nearby, plenty of takeaway food outlets. I will definitely stay here again.

Great stay at boutique hotel!

Loved the front desk staff, cleaned our room every day & left extra goodies for us each day, great tea selection in the room, great a/c that you can control. Our room was in the basement, but it was spacious, had a skylight, and was clean. They even have a little bar where you can get alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks including coffee, and snacks at all hours.
