I have request requests for surveys from two airlines your hotel twice the restroom where I had dinner the restaurant where I had breakfast, the rail service that I took a train up to Darlington on the hotel that I stayed in in Darlington. It really is too much. Everybody wants my feedback if I don’t like you I won’t stay there again. If I like you, I will. I’m not in the business of promoting these business businesses I was just a customer.

Friendly staff upon arrival, but there were issues with the room, small flys, headboard that kept hitting the wall, even from just lying down and then the shower alternated between cold and boiling water, which was extremely dangerous. Sadly there was no one on reception to report this when I left the hotel this morning.

1/5 — Very Disappointing Stay
My sister and I were very disappointed with our stay at The Star Hotel in London.
There was no breakfast provided despite it being advertised on the website. The courtyard also had a noticeable spider infestation, which made the entrance area quite unpleasant.
Our room (number 30) was on the top floor, and there is no lift, meaning we had to carry a 23kg suitcase up several flights of stairs. Once inside, we discovered the radiator was stuck on full heat and the shower only ran boiling hot water, with no option to cool it down. The mattress was also extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Although we reported the heating and shower issues to reception, no one came to fix them.
On the day of departure, the electricity to our room was switched off exactly at 10am, leaving us to get ready in the dark. When we went downstairs, the hotel appeared deserted with no staff present.
Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Location is great! There are lots of good restaurants nearby and it’s very close to several tube stations which makes transportation easy. Felt very safe with the fire brigade and police station down the street. However, it could get a tad loud with sirens throughout the night. Additionally, if you’re a light sleeper you might wake up when your neighbours above come in late at night. The walls a pretty thin. The toilet didn’t always flush properly in the room we were in and there was no air conditioning but the beds were very comfortable. Staff was helpful and kept the place very clean. We mostly just used the room for sleeping so it turned out to be a pretty good stay.

We booked this room as it was close to Apollo where we were going for a show, so it was perfect for what we needed. The staff was very nice and accommodating to changing us to a room on a lower level as I am currently pregnant and going up lots of stairs is a bit more challenging. The room was big enough to move around, had everything we needed and it was clean. So was the bathroom. Even though the room was facing the main street, with the windows closed it was quiet. I appreciated the fan provided in the room. I also loved the little tables outside the hotel to sit and enjoy the summer evenings.

We travelled to London for a concert at the Eventim Apollo and this hotel was ideal for a one night stay. We wandered round Westfield shopping centre in the afternoon, then it's a 15 minute walk to the hotel. Once we were ready to go out it was just a 15 minute walk to the concert, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink on the way there. Hotel staff were friendly and the room was nice and clean. First of all our room was much smaller than expected lol but very clean. We had two twin beds very top floor. There is no elevator. No AC but a fan was supplied and the windows opened very easily.
