Lovely room, big andcomfortable, friendly staff and clean, short walk to shops and restaurants in Notting Hill gate. Breakfast times need to be advised on hotels.com, I paid extra, but was told on arrival that it wasn't served till 8 am, no good when on business trip, was able to get some pastries up the road but wouldn't have paid the extra if I'd known. They offered to see if they could do it early, but I wouldn't have known until the morning. Otherwise very happy with the stay.

A nice room, very clean and the setting of the hotel is lovely. The walls however are very thin and the rooms are cramped together; I would recommend good earplugs. Expect a wait for the shower and the toilet in the morning.

Room and bathroom were clean. Didn’t expect shower room and bathroom to be down the hall, I thought it would be closer to the room; made it awkward when showering. Shower had low pressure and the temperature wouldn’t change from blistering hot. They do give you soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and the linens were all very clean. More of a hostel vibe than a hotel

The staff is excellent. Mario and Mohammed are very good at customer service and they make you feel good, despite the facility.
Our Tv did not work for 3 days. The mattresses are old and you sink in. Very uncomfortable.

We were on the top floor so there are a lot of steps to get up there. There is a lift but it’s quite slow. As we don’t have any mobility issues we used the stairs. Our room didn’t have air conditioning and it was very hot when we stayed there. They did supply 2 fans which helped.

Lovely hotel, clean room, very firm mattress, very friendly welcome. There was no aircon in the room i booked, this was advised on the info, it was a very warm night and a fan had been provided which was appreciated. There is a small lift available and tea and coffee for free just off reception.

Great stay at this cute hotel that was close to the subway & bus stop/station. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean & breakfast was good. Our room could have used a new mattress, but overall it was a great place to call home while in London. The area is safe & we would stay there again.

Nice historic building, but I couldn’t get much info about it even when I asked. Description said there was a restaurant on the property but it was only a bar. “Sauna” existed but heated the whole hotel room because it is cheap quality and doesn’t seal.

Highly recommend Ravna Gora Hotel in Holland Park

I came here for 8 nights in September with a friend. We were very pleased with our accommodations: the hotel was quiet, spotlessly cleaned, perfectly maintained and very conveniently located near bus and Tube stops and shops, pubs & grocery stores. The bathrooms are shared but we never had an issue, the hotel was not fully booked so it was never crowded. The manager Marius was very helpful and kind. We did not buy the breakfast as it didn’t look great but we appreciated the 24 hour coffee and tea bar. The mattresses could use an upgrade but other than that in such an expensive city it was a wonderful bargain!

Ravna Gora was a very clean, safe hotel. The room was small but nice and well-kept. It was great if you aren’t spending a lot a time in the room and just need a place to sleep and wash up, but it may be a little tight if you have two people spending a lot of time in the room. If you are larger, note that the basic rooms don’t have much space to walk around the bed; you have to shuffle. But we very much enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be friendly and efficient. The location is great in terms of restaurants, shops and both the Holland Park Tube station and actual park right next door. I would indeed stay here again!

We stayed here for two nights in July. The room itself was TINY! I understand that this is London, but we couldnt even both have our suitcases on the ground. The Tv was about 30cm wide. The room itself was really hot, and there was no air-conditioning, and you could only open the window about 10cm. We had a couple very uncomfortable nights. The beds mattress was so old, we could feel the springs. The shower was great, only very small as well. No extra facilities were provided, eg kettle, iron, etc. The location was wonderul, with a tube station across the road. We were also able to park our car at the hotel for £20 per night.

Ravna Gora hotel is part Hostile, part Bed and Breakfast, all charm. It is not 4 or 5 star, yes, the main road outside can get loud in the middle of the night due to Police sirens just loving to do it. Truly, at 2am the toad is empty and there is no need London Police. Aside from that, which I do NOT hold against the hotel, lies a very quaint establishment. The bed was cozy, and quiet, pillows were okay. The bathroom is quintessential Europe, small. We had a deluxe room that slept 4. 2 doubles that face each other. We made it work because we really weren't in our room but to crash. Some real highlights are the staff, at the desk to greet you at all times . Also the big location plus is you are right across the street from shopping, gelato, a beautiful cafe, a Pret, and the Holland Place Tube station. So walk up to the Nottinghill Market, stroll across the street for a lovely dinner, and pop off to anywhere via the tube. Ravna Gora was a unique choice for me, but if it fits your budget and you dont need POSH center of London accommodations I would suggest here. DO get a room with your bathroom, make sure of that in the room descriptions.

Windows are not soundproof for night traffic noise

Place is clean and receptionist is welcoming enough BUT If you unfortunate enough to end up in one of the front rooms it’s unlikely that you going to get any sleep because windows are not sound proof and traffic noise goes on all night. Ambulances, police, motorbikes you hear it all night.

We had the en-suite quadruple room (#15). Comfortable beds. Tiny bathroom with no venting. Noisy since our room faced Holland Ave. Not much room for luggage or storage. Decent outlets (with USB ports) but only available on 1 side of the room. Bathroom needs floor repair and shower could do with a good scrubbing on the door hinges and corners. No extra toilet paper so we helped ourselves to the shared toilet/WC across the hallway. Breakfast was ok (not included) and you get what you pay for GBP10 per person. No egg but lots of bacon, ham, bread, yoghurt, fruit, cereals, coffee, tea. Made an open cheese and bacon toastie on the little grilling appliance.

The room and shared areas was in good condition and clean. But I didn't get what I paid for! In section \"choose room\" there were rooms with shared bathroom, and en-suite rooms. I choose en-suite (as I always do), but I got a room without a bathroom in an 8 rooms floor with just one bathroom/toilet. Also I paid extra for breakfast, as it says in \"Reservation 493-883-134\" email I received from the hotel, but although I showed that email in the reception, they insisted that the booking was with no breakfast, and I need to pay more. Of course I didn't pay second time for what I've already payed and in the morning I just left

This is a great place to stay. It is located right across from the Holland Park underground station. There are a bit of stairs to get up to the main entrance, but once inside you can use the elevator to take your bags up to your room. The complimentary breakfast was very decent. Lots of choice. Rooms are small, but the area is so nice to walk around and convenient to catch a bus. We would definitely stay again!

I was surprised when I checked in I was told I had no private bathroom or shower and needed to share with others. Although it was always available to me. Check in was fine. Housekeeping staff efficient and friendly. Lounge off the lobby was available for hot drinks. Suggest they put a soda/water vending machine, rather than having guests walking to a grocery shop for them. Hotel can make the revenue. The place was repainted as was the rooms, however small units.

I enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and we received a wonderful welcome. The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. There is a room where you can sit and watch TV, make a cup of tea or coffee and relax. Breakfast is optional. I would definitely stay here again.

Budget boutique hotel that punches above weight

No other budget hotel will have the same charm as this hotel. The hotel is located just off the central line, which is ideal. Also a short walk to Notting Hill, Holland Park and Kensington High Street (and a slightly longer walk to Hyde Park, but very much do-able). Staff are always very pleasant and helpful when I stay, there's a lift, and the rooms are contemporary, stylish and chic. Found them to be very clean and comfortable too, but they do need to invest in proper ventilation and air conditioning, especially in the warm weather.

1) No phone inside the room and also no passenger lift available, meaning that you need to walk downstairs to contact the reception directly and then walk upstairs back to your room if you need any special requests

2) Temperature of shower water is unstable, it's either too hot or too cold, do not have a point in between

3) Room was too closed to the road and noisy

4) During check out date morning, when you meet the reception, instead of saying \"Good morning\", reception just remind you to check out before 11:00 which is rude and not respect to hotel guest

5) Blinder cannot fully block the sunlight penetrated to the room

6) Bathroom ventilator was not working

7) I will not recommend this hotel to friends

Nice property in Nice location but lift to top floor not in use and on first night no parking at hotel so had to park at local Westfield Shopping Centre 15 minutes brisk walk away. Got parking on second night, only 8 spaces available. Bathroom had hairs from previous occupants but room generally clean otherwise and a good size. Staff friendly enough.

Fantastic find.

Stayed overn8ght on a last minute business trip at a nearby Embassy. The location, on site parking and price were key factors in my last minute choice and was not let down in any way.
I contacted the hotel to let them know that l would be arriving late at night and concise instructions on the parking entrance were given and a flawless check in was performed.
All staff were smart, polite and very professional at all times and they allowed me to leave my car on site whilst I got my visa.
Would highly reccomend this hotel to other travellers and will use it again myself if l visit that area again.

Great place to stay at a great price, stay here!

I have stayed here for the past two weeks and can not fault the place. The guy who runs the place called Zoran has been more than helpful and has been extremely polite. The hotel is clean and the service is brilliant. I have already booked to stay the next four weeks in advance. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone and for the price and location to all the shops and commuting routes is brilliant.

It was a very comfortable but compact room and a good price for the area but although I was in the very top floor it had no double glazing and was very noisy
There was some kind of generator or something either just the other side of the wall or above the room than was so loud all night that as comfortable as the bed was still woke me frequently so I slept very badly
But all else was good
