Unfortunately this was not a good experience for my family. We arrived at 730pm and rang the outside bell for 5 minutes and no one let us in. Another guest happened to be coming back and let us in. The room was older and not quite as advertised (the 2nd full bed was a full sized mattress on the bottom of a twin bunk so it was hanging off the side). Our biggest challenge was the cat. It wasn’t clear that the owner had a cat (I should have asked as 3 of us are allergic but I didn’t think to). The owner said the cat doesn’t go into the rooms but within 5 minutes our eyes were red and the sneezing started. We decided to stay at a hotel down the road. Regardless of the cat the overall vibe wasn’t what we had hoped for given the price/area.

Our room was in the basement quarters and was sort of dank. Mildewy smelling. The towels were old and scratchy. The carpet was not so clean. I feel like this room would have been worth it for $150. Not $450 that was paid. It just felt like a run down bb. To be fair, I didn’t see the main house quarters. Maybe those are nicer but overall, I was extremely disappointed for the price we paid. For the price they are charging, you’d expect a top notch room.

There was random food sitting on a table outside the door in the hallway. The windows were drafty.

The staff was very friendly and the location is great but just know, the at least some of the rooms are very musty and outdated.

Very friendly hosts and the breakfast was excellent, delivered to your room. There was a lot of furniture in the room which made it tight for us plus our suitcases. The B&B is in a beautiful area however and very close to restaurants and shops.

This was a unique B&B. The room slept 5 in a bunk bed and a full size bed. The room was tight with 5 and luggage but worked for overnight. It also was a short 15 minute drive to Heathrow.

Friendly, convenient, lovely!!

Brilliant location for Notting Hill/portobello market and also for the tube station.
The owner was really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Even a fresh pot of tea on arrival! Breakfast was brought to us in our room exactly the time we requested. Great selection and far too much to eat!
Highly recommended. Would definitely stay there again.

Location was convenient to tube. Breakfast delivered to room was very convenient and generous continental style. Staff provided us with printing service (of emails) upon request -no problems!

The atmosphere/accomodations were more dated than expected and estimated based on on-line photos. Manager was absolutely not open to any changes to contract that might entail a loss of revenue for them, irregardless of extenuating circumstances.

The location to Juliette’s Bed and Breakfast was fantastic! The room service breakfast each morning was great - we loved the warm croissants! They went above and beyond with the amount of goodies and selections.

We stayed in London during a heat wave. There is no air conditioning and the room fan was not working. It was very hot and trying to sleep was difficult. The room we had was very small with two twin beds. It was a bit stuffy. The bathroom was tiny as well.

It was nice, very regal looking! The window in my room had a broken handle so the window didn’t shut properly, which made it a little noisy. The room was nice and warm and clean.Breakfast started at 8am so it was too late for me and it’s served in the room, so I wonder if I could have eaten anything anyway - but I can’t really say as I didn’t have any breakfast.

We stayed in a quaint room on the lower level. It was quite, and had a nice view of the garden. The Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was so nice. They even brought breakfast to our room earlier then normal hours on our departure day. It was a short walk to the Tube with local food close by.

The most important thing to me is a good bed to sleep on, things were a bit old in this place and I don’t mean in a nice antique way! I really think I was sleeping on a box spring it was as hard as a park bench!The pillows were awful. This is a pretty property in a lovely area, it would do well to have less frills and more substance. Everything in the room was covered with a blanket or throw or something when I pulled the cover off the couch it looks like a thrift shop reject can’t tell you how old it was and the whole room had a musty smell so at this price point I expected something a little better than this and certainly a bed that was sleepable. The service was fine a little scarce it feel like a ghost town I hardly saw anyone but when they came for breakfast I had a lovely breakfast tray that had more food than four people could eat but yeah work on the basics would be my suggestion !

Nice B&B near public transportation system, restaurants, and grocery store. Our room has a fridge. Bed was comfortable but room doesn’t have AC (a fan was available in room) so we left the window open at night; therefore it’s noisy with street noise. It appears that the 1st bedroom is on the 2nd floor therefore you’d have to carry your luggage upstairs to the room. Breakfast was served in our room at specific time that you’d choose. Breakfast is the same each day with tea/coffee/milk/juice, cereal, toasted bread, croissants, jam, cheese, cold ham, fresh fruits, tomatoes, and yogurt - plenty for all. Room is serviced everyday and we were surprised to find fresh towels after 2nd day even though our stay was only for 3 days. Beautiful garden on the side of the house is the very peaceful and shady where you can sit & relax with a book. Would stay again.

Very disappointing poked away in a dirty old attic. Shabby old furnishings that my wife could leave a message in the dust! Could only access the bed from one side, had to crawl over the other person to get in and it of bed. Shared kitchen really dirty. Were booked for 3 nights but it was so awful we had to leave.

Room very private included a bathroom with old but v good quality fittings, and new tiles. Bedroom full of antique character, but the highlight was the breakfast delivered to our room in the morning - an absolute delight. May 2018.

Charming in Nottinghill

My stay was in the Rose Room in a historic and beautifully maintained townhouse in Nottinghill. The room and bath were so charming, it made me so happy! On my arrival Lucy asked if I would like tea? Yes please! She brought me tea service on a tray in my room as I unpacked and asked what time I would like breakfast in the morning. The bathroom has a bath tub and shower, a heating rack for towel and a window that let the sunshine in. The location is a 4 minute walk to the tube and 1 minute to Portobello Road, shops and restaurants are everywhere. You don't see staff other than when they deliver your breakfast in the morning so you'll need to be independent. The only drawback I can see is the bed is VERY firm. I loved this place and would highly recommend!!

A stay in Period Comfort Near Notting Hill Gate

We enjoyed staying at Juilette's during our 4 day London stay. It was well situated to the Tube stop for city sightseeing we planned, and well situated for a visit to the Leighton House Museum in nearby Holland Park area, which we walked to. The neighborhood was nice. The breakfast was lovely each morning, served in our room. Room was spacious and very clean. We would stay here again, and recommend it to others.

Perfect location---really nice neighborhood, good for walking around. Juliette's is very quaint and the staff (I think they're all family) are very nice. They don't have a central area downstairs (it's really a bed and breakfast, so you get a room with a bathroom, and a good breakfast is served in the room). For our purposes (quick overnight transition before we flew out), it was just right.

Really gorgeous, quirky B & B in a fab location!

We stayed a family room with our three boys aged between 9 and 15 - it was fabulous, a very good price, the boys were all in a large bunk bed (single on the top, double on the bottom), beautiful breakfast delivered to us in the morning. Lovely staff, and a really excellent location, round the corner from Portobello Road - we would highly recommend Juliette's and would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at Juliette's for extended time in London. The one positive thing I can say about this place is location - few blocks to the Notting Hill Gate tube station, Portobello Road and restaurants. Other than that it was a HUGE letdown. The room was tiny - we had to move furniture to walk around and get the breakfast tray in the room. The furniture was not only old and tired but dirty. I don't think the top of the wardrobe had been cleaned in years. I know this because we had to use the top of the robe for storage as there was 1 single teeny tiny drawer, about 8 inches of hanging space and a few shelves - for 3 people since it was billed as a triple room. The water in the shower ran so hot and cold that you could be scalded or standing under frigid water from one moment to the next. The towels in the bathroom were disgusting. They were thin and so rough that they felt like sandpaper. But that's not even the worst of it - the towels smelled horrible when they got wet so you had to keep replacing them just so the bathroom and room would not smell. The breakfast also left a lot to be desired. The same bread, yogurt, cereal, cheese, fruit and juice day after day. And even when we told the staff not to bring breakfast because we wanted to go out for a cooked breakfast, they still brought in the tray. I think the staff tried to make the best of things but they had so little to work with. Thankfully we had a good time in London so it overshadowed our experience at Juliette's.

Just stayed here for 1 night, staff were very helpful and made us drinks on arrival which was much appreciated after the 5 hr drive from Hull. Location is excellent for Hyde Park, Notting Hill and Portabello Road. Jumped on a open top tour bus within a 10 minute walk!

We would stay here again the next time we visit London.

Breakfast was excellent, served as requested at 8am and lasted us until lunch in the parks at 2pm.

We had a great 5 day stay and were made to feel very welcome. Julietta, the host, was extremely helpful and friendly and even got up at 6am on our last day to wish us goodbye! The breakfast trolley was individually prepared and wheeled into our room to dine at our little table and chair set. It was always packed with goodies and HOT drinks. Very central for our sightseeing

The reason I booked this Inn was that the hotels only offered 2 beds and a fold-out bed to accommodate my 2 granddaughters and myself. The Inn's website said there would be 3 beds; what we were given was 2 beds and a fold-out bed.

NO air conditioning and NO window screens. The lack of AC during the humid summer made the room extremely moist and hot. The bed sheets actually felt wet to the touch and the mold on the carpet was horrible. The staff repeatedly opened the windows which resulted in the room being filled with flies and other insects. The bath towels were ancient and worn and there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling above the shower.

In a quiet part of town but near subway

The B&B is very cosy and our room was beautifully sunlit. It was cleaned very well each morning. The hotel could use some improvements though: the shower would alternate between hot and lukewarm water which is annoying but tolerable. The towels they provide you with are very old and stiff, and sometimes they smelled used/not fresh or clean at all. I suggest bringing your own towel if you can. The breakfast was conveniently delivered to the room each day however the breakfast was always the same: toast, croissants, butter, boursin, baby bel cheese, orange juice, coffee, tea, milk, cereal and some rolls of ham. We stayed for 8 nights and it got boring pretty quickly. We wish they served warm breakfast. They should also clear out their dining room for guests to have the option of eating there if they don't want to eat in the room--it seems like they use their beautiful dining room as storage.
Still, when we came back to the B&B we felt warm and cozy and definitely enjoyed our stay.

However if you want room service, wake up calls, and other amenities, or someone to call a taxi for you, this is not the place. In grabbing a taxi you have to walk to the end of the street and hail it from there, as this B&B is sort of on a side road.

Bien située dans joli quartier. Mais photos trompeuses! La maison est jolie certes mais on y a pas accès! Les chambres sont sur le côté dans le sous sol avec barreaux devant les fenêtres! Les lits ( 2 single) ne sont pas très confortables, le petit déjeuner servi en chambre ( impression d’enfermement) ne comporte ni confitures faites maison, ni jus orange frais ( industriel) et dés fromages de basse qualité ( babybel, boursin, frimage emballé pour Burger......) maison mal isolée, à côté d’une rue circulez donc étions réveillées dès 6h du matin ! Pour le prix demandé, la prestation n’est pas à la hauteur.....

Sympatique résidence typiquement Londonienne avec beaucoup de charme.L'endroit est arboré et fleuris, et le personnel est tres acceuillant. Transport en commun a proximité (bus, et metro ligne centrale ).En revanche, la qualité de la literie serait a revoir(sommier à ressorts), tres mal au dos le matin..:-( . Par ailleurs l'evier de la salle de bain est fendu, et le tuyau de la douche fuit, ce qui n'est pas tres agréable ni pour les adultes,ni pour les enfants. Il manquerait une chaise pour petit dejeuner à 5 dans la chambre surtout avec une vue sur les écureuils des arbres voisins...pour finir, l'endroit est calme et silencieux, ce qui est appreciable apres avoir passé une journée dans l'euphorie Londonienne.

Juliette’s Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful house in a quiet side street just a few minutes walk from Notting Hill tube station and Portobello road, the perfect position to explore the city without suffering the crowds of the weekend.
Inside the house is quintessentially British: beautiful antiques and thick rugs and quanti decor will have you think you stepped into a Jane Austen novel. Our room was the pink room on se first floor: it was big and bright, with a king size bed with flowery linen and soft blankets, two windows on the lush garden and a table with a tea and coffee set. The bathroom was big and pink and had a huge bath tube and a modern shower with good water pressure as well. The whole room was impeccably clean and smelled discreetly of soap. Breakfast was served in our room every morning by our hostess on a tea trolley and it consisted on a veritable feast of more food than we could ever eat (toasts, jam, Nutella, fruits, cereals, yogurt, cheese, orange juice). Our hostess was sweet and helpful in every possible way. I have stayed in all manner of places in London (I travel there a lot), including upscale hotels but I think I have finally found my home away from home and I will be returning to Juliette’s soon.

ノッティングヒルズにぴったりなホテル

ポートベロマーケットに行くのに便利なので止まりました。鍵は各自で覚えることで出入りは自由です。
朝食はワゴンで部屋まで運んでもらえます。たっぷりでとても美味しかったです。

Tout d'abord la localisation de ce B&B est parfaite !! En plein Notting Hill, c'est un merveilleux et très agréable quartier.
La chambre était très comfortable, le lit parfait et le service du petit-déjeuner tout à fait charmant et extraordinaire.
