Even though check in is at 3pm, our room was not ready when I came in at 4 pm...had to put in repeated requests since I had a wedding dinner to attend and then the person at the front desk gave me an alternate room, which was rather tiny for 2 people. They do provide a drink voucher in lieu of forgoing housekeeping, which is a nice touch

La chambre était très propre avec une belle vue sur le quartier Notting Hill. L'hôtel était bien placé dans le quartier, près des autobus et station de métro, épicerie etc et très tranquille le soir. Nous avons apprécié également le bar à tisanes/thés sur l'étage. La douche était super, grosse pomme de douche et bonne pression d'eau. Le personnel hyper sympathique. Le check-out était simple, juste à laisser sa clé au comptoir.

The Ruby Zoe was a wonderful spot for my short stay in London. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing - a great start to each day! However, my favourite part was the hotel bar/lounge that is available 24/7. It was a great spot to wind down after my day, with music playing, and light foods and drinks always available!
I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed 5 nights in Notting Hill and this hotel was located in a great location, right around the corner from portobello road and plenty of shops and restaurants. There were also plenty of grocery and liquor stores nearby.

The downstairs common area, and bar are very cute and charming. The bar had good drinks and the seating areas are unique.

Our room was okay. We had alot of things to do so it’s not like we planned on lounging in our room, but one thing happened after another.

First night we got in, we had just taken a 6 hour train ride and were exhausted. We showered and took a 2 hour nap right when we arrived. While we were sleeping the lamp on my side of the bed snapped and fell to the floor waking us up, it was super odd. But after examining it, it looked like it had previously broken and someone had glued it back on. We brought the broken part down to the desk and explained what happened so we wouldn’t get blamed and he just stared at us and said okay.

Then the next night we came back to the hotel and house keeping had cleaned our room. We got in bed and pulled the comforter over us, and my fiance gagged because his side of the blanket smelled of mildew. There’s also no phone in the rooms so you can’t just call the front desk. He went down and explained and the concierge was super nice and brought us new bedding and we changed it ourselves.

The manager gave us a free drink and a free breakfast on our last morning. So that was kind of him.

Staff especially Clyde was fantastic! It was clean but zero amenities, NO phones, coffee maker, mini fridge, robes, slippers, bell men to help with bags no clock in room, no wake-up calls,no room service. Bare bones in tiny rooms, the reception desk is the bar. They messed up my reservation , we went out for the day got back and they took my things including what is in the safe stuffed into my luggage and stored it. They had my credit card and who would leave everything including a passport and tickets and disappear??
Why not charge card? Call me? Text me ? Something before doing that?
If you want a clean bed and that’s all ok but beware it’s like a hostel.

I booked a ‘lovely room’ and ended up with an accessible room which was not ‘lovely’. The sink was below knee height, the mirror was below eye level and it had a stained white curtain instead of a shower cubicle. They refused to change to the room type I paid for as the hotel is full and i had already been in the room. There was nobody to escalate it to and IHG said Ruby hotels deal with their own issues which I didn’t understand. Therefore I had no option but to accept it in the end and change rooms the next day. The attitude of the staff was as if it was not their problem and that it was normal in London as ‘33% of rooms in London are accessible rooms’. As someone who stays in London most weeks I can confirm that is not the case as it has never happened to me before. Trading standards should investigate the scam of selling accessible rooms as standard rooms when there is a clearly separate booking type for accessible rooms. Great that they are available but I don’t want one and should be able to get the room I paid for and certainly from a reputable company like IHG. All in all for over £200 a night it was a very poor experience and I won’t be using this hotel again.

We loved our stay at Ruby Zoe, its steps from the notting hill market and homes. It was very quiet, clean, and had fun decor. We enjoyed the speaker in the room it had great sound! The bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was they didn’t have a smart TV.

The reception staff were variable! Guy who checked us in very friendly, however the woman the next morning was very rude & abrupt. Despite having an email to confirm we had booked breakfast she refused saying this was not part of our booking and actually said the other staff were wrong. Her approach to customer service was very poor and would put me off booking the hotel again! The room was clean & well appointed.

Great location for visiting Notting Hill. A little pricey for what is essentially minimalist self-service in a trendy wrapper. Like they had his cool budget concept, but forgot to lower the price. ;) More of an Amsterdam Hostel vibe - which is fine if that's what you came for. For a similar price at other London hotels I had helpful staff jumping to assist with check-in, luggage, cabs and what to-do. Not so much here. I wasn't unhappy and would stay again if the price was right. It was new and clean. Breakfast was good but kind light on hot food for the price.

Left elevator was extremely slow when we went there and the 3rd elevator was out of order so they only had one elevator working; we just had to wait a little bit coming and going.
Only other thought was their ADA accessible room was complete bare, no decor, no paint, no character, felt minimal and depressing, and the door was extremely heavy and hard to open and closed behind (no way to just leave it open) making getting in and out for a person with any sort of disability so much harder than it should have been.

Loved the laid-back and relaxed atmosphere. Room was incredibly quiet and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, can't remember ever having such a choice.
Couple of negatives. No-one told us the room key also worked the lift. There is no in room tea/coffee. The room numbers are black on a black wall in a dim corridor which did give me problems finding my room.

Breakfast was good. Room could have been a little cooler for me but was fine for my daughter(we shared the room). Staff was exceptional especially Clyde, Carlos and Stephanie. Carlos even went and got a cake with candles, knowing it was my daughter’s birthday we had come to London from Canada to celebrate and sang happy birthday to her. He gets a gold star from us. Well done.

The hotel is clean, offers good dining and bar options. Its location is great. It is close to the Tube to get around town or to/from Heathrow. Also a good variety of restaurants in a comfortable walking distance. There is also the Portabella market on weekends. It's a good choice whether your trip is short or long. I have no hesitation to recommend it.

One of the elevators did not work and the other two that was working had some issues when the doors were closing and they opened and closed 3-4 times every time you used them. This took long time and we could not access the stairs either. The TV did not properly either, green screen after a couple of minutes. A part from those two things we enjoyed our stay (2nd time)

This was my first time staying at this property and I really enjoyed it! The area is excellent to bop around Notting Hill and the room itself was clean and immaculate. Not to mention the bed and pillows were perfect. The only oddity is that I didn’t book a room with accessibility features yet this is the one I was given. It’s not a problem per se, but the bathroom sink was at my knees and I had to wrestle with the shower curtains to not soak the bathroom.
Also as a note, the bathroom door does not stay open by itself and it’s heavy. I can see this being a real problem for someone in a wheelchair to maneuver. It’s also the last room on the floor so it’s especially long to get to, another ding on the accessibility side.
As an able bodied person I really enjoyed the room but I want to highlight some things I noticed so that hopefully the hotel can make some changes. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay and I would go back!

Ideal for if you just need a clean, cozy place to sleep at the end of the night. Located in one of London's most expensive neighborhoods, it has the accessibility of 3 tube lines right down the block. There are also 4 supermarkets just downstairs, and a plethora of restaurants and shops in the area. It's on a busy street and never did it feel unsafe.

The room was generally very clean and big with a comfy bed and adjustable AC, but has atypical misses. There is a Bluetooth speaker and a guitar amp, but face towels and slippers have to be purchased from the vending machines on select floors. Housekeeping had only come once in a course of a week.

The glass box shower provided little insulation and water poured out onto the floor. Its layout provided little help since it shared a space with the toilet, but the sink was outside in the room. With the toiletry bottles secured to the wall, you then have to leave the shower area to get to the lotion and hairdryer. There was also mold behind the hand shower.

For light sleepers, the sound of other rooms using the toilet may result in you waking from hearing water run through the pipes. It's not the worst since there was little door slamming or hearing people in the hallway.

Generally, decent for if you're staying solo. May be difficult for those sensitive to noise or sharing a very transparent restroom with others.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was lovely, and overall, everything was very well-maintained and nice.
The only minor downside was the beverage selection in the galley; it seemed to be exclusively tea. As a coffee lover, I think the space would really benefit from adding a bean-to-cup coffee machine to give guests a few more options in the morning.
Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience and I'd definitely recommend it!

Location: A great location in Notting Hill. Quiet so that you can get a good night's sleep. Convenient to get around London as you are within walking distance from the Tube. Additionally, the hotel was near some lovely brunch/food places.

Room: I appreciated the room size as we had two suitcases. I also appreciated how comfortable the bed and pillows were. Despite the time difference, I slept very well. The hotel amenities, such as the shampoo, conditioner and body wash, were luxurious.

Even better if: The Only thing that would make this hotel/the cosy room even better is a kettle to make tea. I was not able to make a tea while staying in London.

A warning for tourists like me: Please be cautious with your personal belongings, as I was pickpocketed whilst exiting the Tube near the hotel. I was carrying my suitcase up the stairs meanwhile someone was stealing my belongings. The hotel itself is safe and quiet, but be cautious and aware when leaving the hotel, and especially when you are near public transport/the Tube.
