Room was very clean. The staff were friendly. Room we had was in the basement, which was fine, however, some light was able to shine through the bedroom window at night. Another issue is that the bathroom sink did not drain the water away properly.

This was our second time staying here, we love the neighborhood and location. This time we were on the ground floor and could hear the tube every 5 minutes until 2am. So I would request to stay on a higher level next time. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, cute neighborhood, good food nearby, and close to 2 tube stations for easy commuting.

Didn’t expect to find a room this spacious and comfortable. 2 adults 2 boys (8 & 10) slept comfortably. Really nicely done room. Only gripe was the lack of warm water for long enough. Breakfast was decent too. Would stay again.

Small but very aesthetic- perfect for pictures. The bathroom is gorgeous. Breakfast is healthy rather than a traditional big fry-up, so if that’s what you’re looking for, it may not suit you. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

It was a bit noisy on the first night with a couple fighting at 02:30 in the morning but that wasn’t the hotels fault. Only down side was no hot water for a shower on the second morning. We had a train to catch so didn’t have time to raise the issue. Hotel clean and well set up.

Superbly decorated rooms, great location and good value. Only downside is the noisyness. The tube is fine, but the toilet waste pipe from upstairs rooms, noise from staff etc and outside noise was considerable. The door didn’t shut tight and a bit of extra noise insulation on the window may go a long way. Would definately use again having said all that..

Rooms are great but could use a little upgrade. Mattress had a little dip where it had been used over time. Also found it odd that they didnt supply amenities like a toothbrush, cotton and no slippers or robe. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book there again.

Room was beautiful and staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We were able to store our luggage as well which was very convenient. Only complaints were that room was on ground floor and right by the subway (convenient during the day) but made it incredibly loud as you can hear each train passing all night.

Lovely hotel. Staff excellent. There were just a couple of unexpected things that were quickly remedied by staff. The shower took a couple of minutes before water was warm enough to take a shower. The room was cold and thermostat was at max, but staff provided space heater which made room comfortable. Would recommend this hotel.

My room was quiet and conveniently located near the park, which made the stay very pleasant. While the hotel doesn’t offer full dining options - a detail I unfortunately misunderstood - they do provide a breakfast service, and for other meals you’ll need to dine out or use online or local delivery services.

The hotel makes this very easy by offering a selection of local delivery options online and everything I ordered arrived quickly, so the location works well for that purpose. Under normal circumstances I would have enjoyed dining out, as there are plenty of great places close by, but I was visiting for a medical procedure and needed in-room dining this time.

The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay, and the room itself was a good size and very comfortable. For the purpose of my trip it was an ideal setup and I will visit again when I'm next in this part of a London.

The room was comfortable and clean. The problem was it was on the first floor facing the street. So you could hear music from the restaurant and traffic from the street. You could also hear the tube going underneath. The music did stop at night, but then started again at 7am. We did ask to move, but were
told there were no other rooms available.

Chose this hotel for the location, close to Hyde park, Notting Hill and Paddington. Right on multiple train lines which is handy to get around, but a short walk to SoHo when we wanted.

Was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Staff were friendly, room was super spacious and comfortable for our time. Would definitely stay again

My new favourite hotel.

Close to loads of amenities such as 2 tube stations Bayswater and Queensway. Has a nice high street a road away. But also has scenic quiet routes. Honestly, the perfect hotel and my new go to for London! Room was perfect for a solo travel even couple. Staff were friendly and accommodating and let me keep my luggage after check out and let me use rest rooms. I plan on staying here again!

This hotel is in a great location, just steps away from Bayswater tube station and just down the street from Queensway that meant it was accessible to 90% of central London and all the tourist attractions. The bed was very comfortable - a key selling point for me. The staff was helpful And overall a superior room fit our needs and budget perfectly.

Communication was a huge issue. I stayed into another hotel at the start of that week and their communication was brilliant so my stay here was a sharp contrast. The Expedia app informed me that I was going to pay at the hotel and then the day before the hotel tried to take the money out only to have it declined as I’d moved my money out of that account. Had to call up and put it through over the phone, asked for an email receipt and they assured me I’d receive one…didn’t get one. I got to the hotel the next day and was told that I needed to pay for my hotel. I informed them that I’d already paid and they told me that it was pending and that they needed to be paid. I showed them on my phone that I’d already paid through my banking app and they said they still hadn’t received the money so I’d need to pay. I put my card into the card reader and waited to put my pin in just to see that they needed the card for confirmation to complete the transaction. A very easy situation that became an issue due to lack of clear communication. The next day when I checked out, I was asked to pay a maintenance fee of £5. It wasn’t really fully explained when I was at the reception as to why but it also wasn’t clearly stated in any of the lead up to the stay which would have been appreciated. Overall, the hotel was very clean and in a great area, the staff were ok it was just a strong lack of clear communication that would’ve been heavily appreciated as it would have made the travel less stressed

Basic hotel, used to be really good. Not very friendly people for some reason. Asked for a crib, gave us a play pen with a blanket on it. Obviously could not use it to sleep baby in. No microwave in the kitchenette. Really basic teas and accessories. Nothing felt luxurious as it used to. Was not worth the price. Heard pipes and odd noises all night. Also, the heat wasn’t working. Had to keep calling the front desk to adjust it.

The room itself was nice, but the hotel was so clearly too understaffed to offer more than the bare minimum service. Even though I messaged ahead of time to ask for early check in, that didn’t seem to have been communicated to the staff and I wound up waiting for ages while I watched other people who arrived later check in before me. Don’t prepay for the breakfast - there’s not nearly enough tables to accommodate the number of guests and there was no one designated for greeting/seating people. On top of that, the selection at the buffet is pretty pitiful.

The front desk staff was soooo accommodating, I arrived from the US and they expedited my check in so that I could shower and get dressed before my event. They even offered to take photos for and got anything I need upon request. The rooms, especially the bathrooms are soo beautiful, I loved the marble. Housekeeping tidy up my room without asking. It was the perfect location for exploring the city, only 10 min walk from Paddington station and close enough to explore Hyde park and make use of the hop on-hop off buses!

I read a couple mixed reviews on this hotel, but I needed one close to where family was. It's not the neighborhood I typically stay in, but I was very pleasantly surprised! From the beginning, they contacted me on their own to ask if the sofa should be made into a bed apon arrival (I was traveling with my two children). All the staff from check in to check out was over the top accommodating, they were so friendly to my kids, and any special requests I had were met immediately. The house keeping was amazing everyday, you'd never know i had kids eating crackers in there, and all the linens were perfect. They also have a great complementary stock of nespresso and water. I never heard another guest from my room, and as far as I know, no one heard us. Would stay again.

The rooms are beautiful with great anmenities in them (fresh cookies and Nespresso pods every morning) and the staff is lovely however we found the location a bit far from everything. The one benefit of the location was being close to Hyde park and the Diana memorial playground. My other issue is they pump a very strong floral fragrance throughout the rooms and lobby. They were able to turn it down in the room but would not turn it down in the lobby - it was very over powering. There is construction out front however it was not an issue, we didn’t hear anything from the work being done.

Certainly NOT a 4* hotel as advertised. More of a 3 * at best . Room extremely small. The floor of the room and the hallways are in wood so extremely noisy. Very inconfortable feelings. The hotel is like a labyrinth. We didn’t feel welcomed. We felt we were intrusive. The receptionist need serious training, extremely cold, with attitude. Some must remind her that she’s working in hospitality industry and she wasn’t hospitable to say the least. In the end not a good experience.

I booked this place because the reviews were good! It is also in a good area but tons of restaurants- 2 tube lines and many other hotel options. However, the junior suite is tinier than a regular room. We booked the suite because we were 3 people and the description indicated I had a second bed but it was not even a pull out sofa! We could barely walk in the room with our 3 suitcases! The area is noisy and I happen to be in london during the Nottinghill carnival so it was extra noisy till 4am! I asked them if i could store my bags for a couple of hours and they refused. Stay away from this place as the staff isn’t friendly and the rooms are very very small! The suite is not a suite!

Excellent transport connections within easy reach of Bayswater and Queensway underground stations.
Property was immaculate in all communal areas and our junior suite was excellent with plenty of storage. Dressing gowns, slippers, toiletries all provided.
Breakfast was a great selection of fruit, cereal and pastries. All staff were so friendly.
Lots of gift shops and restaurants locally, also a Sainsbury's and Tesco around the corner.

Our only niggle was that we could hear and feel the tube trains from our 3rd floor room! It didn't stop us sleeping or wake us up, we were just aware of it.

A really great stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again

We arrived in the middle of the Knotting Hill Carnival -- very noisy until the early morning hours. At 2:30 am we were awakened by the smoke alarm. Apparently a guest was showering, with the door open and the steam set off the alarm. Installing bathroom fans would be a brilliant idea! No answer to a call to the desk, guy was engrossed in playing his video game.
Room was nice, but bathroom was oddly laid out. Deep soaker tub (wound be difficult for a shorter person to get into)
Rainhead + handheld shower wand worked alright, but water constantly varied between cold and scalding. Also not great counterspace in there.

The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The hotel is near a lot of restaurants and Hyde Park, which was very nice.
On the other hand, the room was extremely small. There was no door or curtain for the shower, so every time we showered, the floor would be soaking wet.
We got to the hotel very late at night. We weren’t even sure we were in the right place. The signage for the hotel is very small and easy to miss. Additionally, it was not well lit.
We arrived on August 15th at around 11pm. When we arrived, the main person at reception was smoking near the entrance so the smell of cigarette smoke upon arrival was very off putting. Additionally, this person acted as if they couldn’t care less that we arrived at their establishment. Needless to say, we did not feel very welcome.
I’m not usually a complainer, but I’m just being honest about our stay and impressions at the hotel.

Hotel has curb-side appeal in a fantastic location, close to transport links and you can walk through Kensington Gardens to get to the Royal Albert Hall and museums. Staff were on the whole very friendly and our junior suite was a pleasant suprise. Larger than expected, very clean, great bed and lovely bathroom. We had a room on the lower floor in the middle of the hotel and no window, there was a constant “hum” possibly coming from a generator or air con which was the only negative. The occasional underground train noise was actually quite cool! The other people in our party also had a junior suite on the lower
floor but with a window looking out on to the front of the property and they raved about how quiet and comfortable it was. We would definitely stay again but I would try and request a room with a window, possibly on a higher floor next time.

Make sure you ask for the right type of room upon booking. We were initially assigned a room which made me feel claustrophobic. We asked for a change and were given a better room facing the street (which was noisy but worth the natural light).

The breakfast is plain and awful, and not only is it not included, we were told this on checkout, and then rudely told by the woman at the front “you knew that because the woman in the back told you it was not included.” No one ever told us that, and it was incredibly offensive that she accused me of lying or of knowing this. It’s set up to dupe you into paying for it.

A great location and lovely room

We really enjoyed our stay at La Suite West. It is only a couple of minutes from the Bayswater Underground Station, which made it so easy to get around the city.
The room was impeccably clean and they sent someone around each day to double check that all services had been done.
The room was pretty spacious, with a nice seating area.
The hotel is a little maze-like, but it made it feel more private.
We would definitely stay there again.

We are a group of 8 travelling to UK for 10 days from 6 to 15 July. I picked this hotel because it is very convenient and the area is safe. I had communicated with the hotel in both emails and WhatsApp and they were prompt in responding my questions and gave me confidence that it will be a pleasant stay.

I paid for 3 junior suites for 5 nights through Expedia, and then I booked for the last night on 14th after attending a wedding outside of London.

We arrived very early in the morning and I understood that our rooms were not ready yet. The front desk manager on duty (Faycal) and Sajad were very helpful to take our luggages and we went on for city tour before we can settle down at our rooms in the afternoon.

The room is enough for 3 luggages and 2 carry-on and still can walk around. Bed and pillows were comfy, even the sofa bed was good and my daughter and her cousin enjoyed their sleeps on it.

Bathroom is OK. The sink is long, water cannot drain easily. Be mindful, the tub is slippery and also it is not very easy to exit the tub as it is very high and you will need to grab on the side of the sink to help you get out.

Overall quiet during the nights

Housekeeping work was done very nicely.

There was a misunderstanding about luggage arrangement however Faycal helped and resolved the issue and both hotel and us were happy about it.

Thank you Faycal, Sajad and Juwad who helped us during our stay. If I will visit London again your hotel will be my first choice.

Great 2min walk to both Bayswater train station, Hyde park and has tons of restaurants and supermarket nearby...excellent location for anybody new to the area.
