This place is amazing! Good location, good price and good customer service. I got a private twin room for one month. For the check-in I was assisted by Lionel and Tiffany, who were extremely nice and professional! They are above and beyond.
The hostel offers free Wi-Fi, daily breakfast, room service every day, a communal refrigerator and laundry facilities. It is a clean and a well-maintained hostel. I will definitely stay here every time I visit London. There is simply nothing negative to say about it! Hyde Park, tube/bus stations, grocery stores and good restaurants are nearby. Safe neighbourhood!

We were only there for one night but slept well. The beds were comfy and room was clean. It was also quiet!
Good value for money.
The only issue was not being able to get down in the lift from the top floor, one of us has to walk with a stick so it was difficult.

The single room with an ensuite bathroom/shower was perfect for my short business stay. It provided comfort in the perfect location, at a great price! Check-in was fast and easy, the room was easy to access using the lift, it was clean and efficient. There is a small kitchen on the lower level, a café on the ground floor, and a pub next door. There is also a small grocery across the street. I highly recommend it!

Excellent location. Helpful staff.

Excellent position. Within walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall, where I was visiting. My room was above the entrance. There were notices that asked guests not to make a loud noise after 10pm & the first 3 nights if my stay, people were talking outside which kept me awake so I mentioned this to reception the next day & it was stopped thereafter.

Decent except for the lockers.

Good service and location. The beds were 3 high bunk beds but the first one was on the floor. This was my bed and it was a bit wierd being on the floor.
One of the bottom bunks replaced with the lockers, which would be fine, however whoever installed them was an idiot. 2 of the lockers were placed behind the ladders that go to the above bunks which were bolted and welded in place so they couldn't swing on the hinges that they could have. This resulted in not being able to access 2 of the lockers.

The location is good. It’s easy to navigate from around that area. I was traveling alone and I felt safe. I felt that this hostel wasn’t as social as others I’ve been to. I did have breakfast one morning at the hostel and I wouldn’t recommend. It’s only toast and cereal with juice.

Hostel close to Kensington Gardens & the West End

Hostel was very busy. Photos were misleading - room much smaller than I expected, with bottom bunk actually a mattress almost on the floor. No room to sit up in the bed. Only one toilet and shower - in the same room. No additional showers in the building and only one additional female toilet. Notices around said it was ‘quiet time’ after 10pm however this was not enforced, and during my stay there were school/University groups which were still making a noise at 2am! The toilets were difficult to flush, hence some nasty experiences ....

A hostel that felt like a hotel

We had a twin room and it did not feel as if we were in a hostel. Every bit as good as the many 2 & 3 star hotels in this area of London We were in London for my daughter who was swimming in an event in the Serpentine so the location was excellent. Good value for the price.

Worst hostel experience

We had three beds in a 8 bed mixed dorm. The bathroom was inside the room and was small, and extremely stuffy after someone had taken a shower. There were not enough lockers in the room for the number of beds, and most of the lockers were Broken and unable to close. The lockers were also too small to fit a carry-on sized bag if you were lucky enough to get one. The room itself was so small and narrow that only two or three people could have their suitcase open at the same time. If you had a suitcase bigger than a carry-on size, you probably wouldn’t even be able to open it in the room. The room was stuffy and also looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, as there was half-eaten food, crumbs, and garbage where the lockers are. There were two three-person bunks and one two-person bunk. The height of each bunk was so short that you can’t sit up in bed. The three-person bunks has a bed that was literally on the floor. The “beds” were just a thin exercise-type mat covered with a sheet. Elevator was extemely slow and the buttons did not light up. Rowdy guests entered the hostel’s bar area and tried to steal beer, then exited the hostel and tried to steal someone’s cigarette and tried to steal my friend’s cell-phone straight from her hands. Overall, this was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. Would not recommend.

Tiny room for 6 people. Not enough room to store luggage so people’s bags are all over the floor, meaning the room does not get properly cleaned. No control on radiator to adjust meant room was stifling hot and uncomfortable. Window only opened partially and let in all of the noise from the street, so didn’t help with sleeping anyway.

Great location, but very noisy and unhelpful staff

I knew who expect with a hostel and this was as advertised. I can slee through anything and am a deep sleeper, but the road noise is deafening. The first couple nights I had good respectful roommates. The next few nights were a nightmare! Snoring, yelling, fighting, a creepy guy in his 50’s above me and two 18 year old German girls that were scared of him. The staff were ok but unhelpful. just be weary of your roommates. Otherwise - ok

Typical, budget hostel

It's what you expect for $12-15 a night. Crammed into a tiny room with 8 other people, no room for more than a couple people to get dressed and sort through luggage at a time. No shower curtain, just a tiny half wall so there's always water on the floor after people shower. Noise wasn't bad. Beds weren't completely terrible, but still not very comfortable. Met some really interesting and great people though! Just really needs some improvements and expansions.

The hotel staffs are good, room is clean. Just that the bunk bed is 3 tiers and hence limited space, can't sit inside the bed, just can lay down. But the location is good, short walk (about 5 mins and 200m) to Queensway tube station.

You truly get what you paid for. This place is not much more than a bed to sleep in and a quick shower to freshen up.
In room toilet facilities were a plus, and quite modern (if tiny)
However, I would have liked a safe for passports and money- We were given a wooden locker but needed to supply our own padlock.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful
Overall, not bad.

No hot water for showers, \"breakfast\" was literally just slices of bread with the option of jam/butter/nutella and that watered down powdery tasting 'juice' concentrate that you mix up yourself. All the plates and cups were plastic and always had that leftover dishwashing water on them that adds flavour. No wifi in the bedrooms, also no fans of any description and barely any room to move let alone store/access your luggage. Extra charges for everything - it was 4 pounds to use a towel and 2 pounds just to store your luggage on check out day. No power points near the beds either, so good luck charging your phone overnight.

If you like the park and don't need wifi or food

While the cost was affordable for booking, I didn't end up saving much. Having to eat out for 2 out of 3 meals each day plus they charge you for everything extra it seems: £3 for upgrade breakfast, £2 to store each bag, £1.50 each night for a bed locker, laundry + soap, blah blah.
The wifi was hardly accessible in the room one floor up and I struggled a lot in the common dining area, becoming very frustrated very quickly. I found the wifi was best in the bar area across from front desk, but only when no one else was using it. Not super useful for tons of busy travelers.
The kitchen is non-existent which was not clear to me when I booked. There is a microwave and mini fridge - which doesn't seem to ever have room for new food. There is no access to fill up your water bottle (apparently the basement toilet sinks are non-potable water sources).
Other than the wifi, the room was good. I would have preferred to use my own lock on a locker, but instead of paying I just hoped I was staying with good people. The curtains were good and kept out most light and I appreciated having the window open. The ensuite bathroom was cleaned daily and the shower was warm - bonus!
The staff were pretty friendly and helpful when I had questions or needed to book an extra night.

The hostel was quite nice. Clean and anything you want from a hostel. The rooms were very hot even with the windows open but we found that with most places we stayed. My one problem was the rudeness of the cleaning staff. They burst into the room on our first morning there asking who in this room was leaving that day. When we all replied that we were staying they scoffed and shut the door. At breakfast they were no nicer. They hurried us through and I watched one take a bowl from a girl who was clearly still eating, the girl took it back but it was just so rude. I understand that breakfast only runs until a certain time but there are nicer ways of getting people to hurry. Aside from that I liked that every bunk had its own curtains to block the light and that there was ear plugs available for free downstairs. All other staff were lovely.

Decent hostel

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. The location is great and there are several tube stations nearby. The staff is super helpful and friendly and the lockers are a generous size (I fit both my medium-sized suitcase and full backpack in one with extra space). My only complaints are that the dorm bathrooms are uncomfortably small and there is no air conditioning or curtains in the rooms (it was unusually hot in London during my stay, so being on the top bunk on a hot day was really uncomfortable). The street below is also SUPER loud and I was woken up multiple times each night by loud cars driving past.

Only downside to staying here was the breakfast. Was expecting a fry up of some sort and only got something small which wasn't even that filling. Very friendly welcome on reception and check in very easy .You pay a £10 deposit which you get back at checkout.I had bed in 6 bed mixed dorm on 1st floor , it's bunk beds and I had top bunk unfortunately which was too high for me (in hindsight would have asked if could have lower one ) there was ensuite bathroom .You have to pay for towels so best to bring one .Unfortunately room faced road so a lot of noise from outside .Went down to breakfast and was mainly cereal and toast but I fancied something more but you can upgrade your breakfast for a fee .Overall nice place and you get what you pay for ,was only £13 for the night and the location great to local transport links etc

The location of the hostel is good which is just a short distance from Peddington station. I lived in a 6 beds room for a night. When I booked from the web site I thought it's a room with three double-decker beds. I was surprised when I checked in. In one double-decker bed there's three people sleeping, one directly on the floor, one on first level bed and one on the top. When I changing the bedding I was a bit concern I may step on the people sleeping on the floor level.

The good side...the bath room is clean, Wi-Fi is good. It's also included simple breakfast which are toast with tea or café. I wasn't expect great facility with the money paid, but the room is too crowded.

Reservation was not honored!

Since our flight got delayed, I called the hotel staff to let them know I was going to be one day late and asked them to keep the reservation as it is. They agreed but said they would still charge me for the first no show night. They told me to talk to Expedia regarding refund for the first night which is fine. I then called Expedia and they were looking in to it. So we arrive the next day to check in and guess what, they gave our room away. When I asked them why they said well they weren't sure if we were going to show up. What? After traveling from California to London I was told by the gentleman that he gave my room away. Here's the worst part, they are now SOLD OUT which means they have no room for us at all. I was left to figure out where we were going to stay next and no help was offered. I do not recommended booking at this hotel.

Cramped rooms small lockers which you must pay for.
Rude staff even cleaner banged on door of shower until I opened the door only for her to say I had 5. Minutes as she wanted to clean.
They are all Polish and hardly speak English at all.
Reception staff rude mostly, and unhelpful.
Security non existent randoms can and do walk in off the street, even though bar is closed.
Avoid the place.

The bunk beds are too small. If you are taller than 5'5\", you are crouching in the tiny bed. When you sit up, you will bump your head.

1. I was able to do an early check in (around 10 am).
2. The breakfast was ok for the hostel. There were cornflakes, musli, milk, juice, toasts, jam, butter, coffee, tea.
3. Private bathroom.

Cons:
1. They didn't accept credit cards, and their machine didn't accept my debit card (there was a problem with the machine, and not my card) so I had to pay with cash which is not very convenient as I have just arrived to the country and didn't have much cash on me.
2. They don't arrange the sheets on the bed. You have to do it yourself...
3. The room was really small for 6 people. The beds were three-level ones, the third-level bed was really high. Considering you have to put the sheets yourself, it is really hard to do it on the third-level bed.
4. During booking there was an information that lockers are available for the early check in people. But the lockers were not free (it was not said anywhere about it). Towels were not free either.
5. The room was dirty - there was dirt and dust everywhere on the floor.
6. The room was VERY hot, it was impossible to say inside thew room with clothes on and window closed. It was really not comfortable to sleep in such heat.
7. There were only two shelves in the room besides the beds... No other furniture.
8. There were only TWO electric outlets for SIX people! Imagine when everyone needs to charge their phone at night... and camera as well.
9. Bathroom was dirty. Toilet was so close to the door that you have to stand in diagonal...

As far as hostels go, it was quite nice. The staff were all friendly, cheerful, and helpful. I had a last minute injury which required me to be on crutches, and they were very thoughtful in settling my companion and me in. I appreciated their help, which made our stay more comfortable. Overall very good experience!

Good if all you're looking for is a bed!

Very slow, rickety & tiny lift. Some rooms have no power points, given sheets on check in, must bring them back at checkout. No free tea/coffee & can only buy when bar is open. Bathrooms old but clean. Beds are clean and sleep-onable. Floors clean. 2 washing + 2 drying machines - not cheap.

Stayed here for two weeks while I found a flat to live and work etc. Overall it's 'good'. Hostel is what you would expect for your money, basic. That being said its clean, has hot water, comfy beds, communal room with fridge and microwave (downside the being no cooker)

A pleasant hotel. The room was clean and tidy.

Short, sharp and relatively pain free. Besides the fact that it's attached the a backpackers (not a problem), the hotel is relatively decent. The lift belongs in a museum though. The double lock on my door was broken, but apart from that everything else seemed fine.

Reasonable without the frills, but decent value for London.

cheap, but you'll pay with your soul

honestly the worst hostel i stayed in europe. i wanted to go home by day two. the staff has one guy who acts like he’s regina george on mean girls. i interacted with him twice, then started avoiding him like the plague. the two brown girls and the brown guy who works in the mornings are the best.

the dorm is terribly small and uncomfortable. the beds are weak and squeak. if you are at the bottom bed (my case), everytime someone above you moves it will feel like an earthquake. the toilet aren’t separated like in most hostels, so if one of your roommates decides to take a one hour long shower, you’ll have to wait one hour to pee.

apparently kids are allowed in the hostel, and i have nothing against it but it wasn’t nice to be awakened by screaming children and parents who could not control them and make them respect other people’s sleep.

the only redeeming qualities of this place are the great internet connection, the shared kitchen and the proximity to metro stations.

Atendeu todas as nossas necessidades, hotel próximo ao parque e com acesso fácil a transporte público, limpo e organizado.
Atenção dos funcionários da recepção, check in e check out sem complicações.
Rua um pouco movimentada, porém não tivemos problemas na hora de descansar.

Gute Übernachtungsoption

Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung. Kleiner Abzug für das bad, das einem Kreuzfahrtschiffbad ähnelte. Lage super - Hyde Park quasi vor der Tür und gute Anbindung an Öffis. Frühstück okay, nichts besonderes, vielleicht etwas wenig Auswahl. Für Londoner Verhältnisse eine gute und preislich faire Übernachtungsmöglichkeit.

Das Hostel lag sehr gut am Kensington Park und der Hydepark war nur ein paar Meter weg. Alles sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch verschiedene Undergrond-Linien waren schnell zu erreichen. Personal war sehr nett und die Rezeption war 24/7 besetzt.

Loistavavien kulkuyhteyksien lähellä

Siisti huone, hyvällä paikalla. Miinusta siitä, että vedenpaine oli huono mutta se lienee kaikkialla englannissa sama juttu hienommissakin hotelleissa. Hotellin ympäristö myös hyvä: kolme kauppaa, pubi ja ravintoloita.

Adorei a estadia.

O pequeno almoço estava incluso e não sabia. Foi uma agradável surpresa.

O atendimento do pessoal sempre impecável.

Tem um grande favor positivo, o facto de deixaram guardar as malas antes e depois do check in / check out.

Fica a 5 minutos de uma estação de metro e 1 minuto de uma paragem de autocarros.

Super central.

Quem quer visitar a cidade e fazer quase tudo a pé, super recomendo a estadia.

A internet super funcionou bem, durante toda a minha estadia.

O pequeno almoço tem pouca variadade, mas o pouco que tem e bom.

Como forma de melhorar, apenas refiro que deviam de ter cofres nos quartos privados.
