Not too bad for the money. A little run down, needs some maintenance. But the reason that would stop me staying again was the heat! It was a very warm day/night that I stayed, but on entrance the lobby was lovely and cool as it had air conditioning. The remainder of the hotel did not! It was 37 degrees in my room! With only a pedestal fan in there that didn’t work!

Pros:
This hotel is in a great location, walkable to Paddington station (UBER will not pick you because the ride is about 6 pounds). The staff was helpful and pleasant.

My room was on the fourth floor facing the street. It was roomy and comfortable with a kitchen (stocked with cookware, plates and utensils). I was able to make breakfast or dine in.

There was a large wardrobe with an iron and tabletop ironing board. The laundry room was on the third floor.

The best part about my stay is that the cleaning staff did not disturb you unless you requested for the room to be cleaned.

Cons:
There is no air conditioning only a fan. It was very hot on some days and nights. I could open the window but there was no mesh to keep the bugs out. Under the bed needed cleaning.

If they installed air conditioning, I would stay there again.

I stayed here for one night (thankfully) last weekend. I was sent an email less than a week before I was to travel explaining that I have been moved to a sister hotel. I was supposed to be staying with family in the apartments and they weren’t moved? So I had to walk an extra 15 minutes with heavy bags in the pouring rain only to be told they were fully booked (The excuse was that the Exec Apartments were closing down but have managed to start back up again?) and they sent me back to the apartments where I walked back in the heavy rain and eventually got checked in, soaked from head to foot. Nightmare start.
I booked this as the accommodation location near the underground and parks for convenience, but the room's condition was utterly unacceptable.

I was put in a basement apartment, which the cleanliness was way below average, dirty blinds the toilet seat was broken and there was litter in the courtyard and a rat poison box for me to look onto. Then after an uncomfortable night on a terrible mattress I found out that the tube runs underneath my room so I was woken at 6am with constant trains thundering underneath.

This cost me £231.20 through Hotels.com, who aren't interested in my complaint. I recommend that you do not stay here at all. The entire customer experience coupled with the awful accommodation ruined my weekend with family.

I just got back from my trip yesterday and after several reviews both good and bad I still decided to book here. Overall, the hotel was just okay. You get what you pay for. It was clean and easy to check in/access, the location was great literally 2min walk to Hyde Park,bus tour stops, city bus stops and a few little cafes for meals. The rooms are small but not as bad as I was expecting from the other reviews I read, the room was pretty spacious in my opinion which was great! My cons however were the room has no air conditioning and it gets' very stuffy/hot at night which was pretty uncomfortable for my husband and I. They provide an electric fan but even that didn't fully help. The shower was tiny, maybe the smallest we've ever used, we made it work but definitely made the experience difficult when it would get so warm at nights and wanna freshen up 1-2x a day. Our water pressure in the shower was also very low and made showers longer. We wish they provided a little more body wash and shampoo we ran through ours in about 2 of the 3 days. Bring or buy your own if possible. The bed was pretty stiff but not unbearable, we were okay with that since we were there a short time. Out of 10 I'd give the hotel about a 6, it was clean and they also provide luggage storage for 10pounds.

It's a very clean hotel; however, during booking, they should let us know the room's position. For example, my room was underground., IImagine that's insane for such an amount of money; an underground space with no view and no air feels cramped. Okay, but let the customer know where they are reserving during the booking process.

Enjoyed our stay. The staff member was very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were nice and clean. It would be great if they could add an ironing board and iron, a couple of extra pillows and a hairdryer. But overall, very happy with our stay, and would stay again. So many food options in the area and a 3 minute walk to the rube station.

The rooms were nothing like the pictures shown. We walked in there were marks and stains all around the room on the walls the floors and the ceilings. Bed and bathroom are the cleanest parts but the kitchen area and appliances were dirty. We booked the property for the kitchen facilities but we didn’t even use it because there was nothing to cook with. No cutting board, no knives and it was too dirty to want to make food.Also the place smells. like everywhere.

When we first got there we had the cheapest room and we weren’t expecting much but with the state the room was in we had to complain. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and upgraded us into a better room. When we got to the upgraded room it was really dim and dark the lights weren’t working too well. The kitchen area especially the worktop was stained and dirty, there was so much dust and stains on the ceilings and there was a crack on the bathroom floor. So it wasn’t necessarily cleaner but it was better I guess so very grateful for the staff that helped us at the desk they were very nice!!

On the bright side, the beds were really comfortable and the staff seemed very friendly. Also the location truthfully was incredible!! 5 minute walk from the underground so it made going anywhere so easy and coming back to the place so simple. Also there are decent places around and a few stores to get snacks from in the area.

It was alright I won’t be coming back though.

I was a little sceptical about booking this hotel due to the many negative reviews in the past , in my opinion they where totally unfounded, the reception staff where friendly and efficient , the hotel has a lift to all floors which is not always the case in this part of London , the room was large , extremely clean and very quiet, i will book this hotel again.

This properly is more a hostel than a hotel. I should have read the reviews before booking as I’d not have booked if I did. Room was smelly, run down and dirty. Hair in bed. Lipstick on the toilet paper?? & the shower was more of a drip than a powerful shower.

Okayyy, so after reading many reviews, I picked this as it’s so cheap for where about's it’s located (maybe discounted) the hotel needs some serious TLC, very tired and although it’s been cleaned, not properly needs either a deep clean or items such as the shower seals need changing. I didn’t use the shower as I could bare me going into it with black rubbers.
It has 0 sound properties- you can hear almost everything. The girls next door you could a background chatting and singing all morning. The windows are single glazed so cold and sound come through. If you aren’t drinking out and staying here I wouldn’t bother. I was drinking out and had a good sleep, but wasn’t impressed when I first came in. Hope this helps

Convenient for Paddington. Although tea and coffee sachets provided, some milk would have been nice. Couldn't see a hairdryer? When leaving, there was no signage indicating the way to reception - this was a bit confusing, and may be a little dangerous if there was an emergency to find your way out (I think it was room 12 lower ground)

The apartments were disgustingly dirty, the walls, blinds, sink, everything filthy. Springs had gone in 1 of the beds. Everything needed a lick of paint/maintenance. Photos must be old on their advertising. If it wasn’t late in the evening we would have stayed somewhere else & walked out

The room was on basement level next to bins horible view.
The cupboard was unfuncional coudnt use the draw.
The room needed a bit of tlc as the walls were cracked and radiator was chipped.
Bathroom was dirty the was poo marks on tve floor.
Bed was to sort for my liking and only got given 1 pillow that sunk in the bed.
However the kitchen was functional for the days we were there and the radiators wen they worked were a treat in the cold nights
Also the bedding was beutiful and clean.
However the service was ok

My room looked nothing like the photos on the property website.
It was absolutely filthy and I didn’t want to touch anything. When I sat on the bed, the mattress felt about 2 inches thick and I could feel the railings underneath. I didn’t get a decent night sleep any of the three nights.
Was extremely dirty and I did not even want to use any of the appliances. I laid towels down in the bathroom as I didn’t want to touch the floor. I tried not to use the toilet while I was there either. It was disgusting.

I LIKED having a lift since I was on the 4th floor. I LIKED the location because it was convenient to bus and Tube stations. I LIKED the area because there were lots of shopping options. The room was larger than most I've stayed in while in London but it looked shoddy. The fridge had only one temperature: icy. Everything froze if left overnite. The bath was clean enough but the shower walls needed retiling. The mattress was old and creaky. I had to request a hair dryer and was told I'd have to wait for one not in use. The kitchen had old utensils and inadequate for simple use. Lastly, the house phone was disabled by management because patrons misused the service (I thought that's what a house phone is for). All in all, I think management was out for themselves and did not have patrons needs as a priority. I would not recommend it to anyone. My niece is travelling to London this summer and I told her to avoid this place.

I wasn’t expecting hotel standards for our stay .we booked only for one night to visit the royal Albert hall . Location wise it was very close and convenient.
But i would highly recommend anyone not to stay here.
The room itself was dark and dingy not at all like the photos on the website . Toilet was dirty with stains the bed seemed to be broken on one side and slanted which was less than ideal. The view outside our window was just a scaffolding building site. But even after all that I thought it’s only one night it won’t be that bad .
This place seems to attracts all sorts of people that show lack of respect for others, it comes across more like a bedsit for the homeless . we were woken up at 0300 from loud music and shouting
There was a party happening next door to our room. They were letting in people from outside so multiple people were in the corridor.

People were banging on doors . Smoking weed and god knows what else . Felt really unsafe and not happy at all.

Me and the Mrs didn’t sleep and was a really stressful situation to be in.

When we explained the situation to reception they were unhelpful and didn’t seem bothered in the slightest .

We have to take it up through management to try and get a refund. But we’ve had no reply. We feel robbed and it ruined our stay in London.

My experience at Executive Rentals was nothing short of a nightmare. The rooms were downright filthy, with stains on the walls, mold infesting the shower, broken tiles, and a mattress straight out of a horror movie – it felt like sleeping on a bed of nails. And forget about housekeeping; it was nowhere to be found.

To add insult to injury, the fire alarm went off at midnight, sending everyone into a panic with no clear communication from the management. As if that wasn't enough, the broken toilet seat and dysfunctional telephone were just the cherries on top of this disaster cake.

And let's not ignore the ludicrous disclaimer plastered everywhere, essentially absolving the management of any responsibility for guests' belongings. It's like they're daring you to stay and have your stuff stolen or damaged.

In short, Executive Rentals is a joke. Don't be fooled by the name – it's more like a rundown shelter than anything executive. Save yourself the headache and stay far, far away.

Good value for money. Simple but spacious room and kitchenette was a bonus. Unfortunately the fridge wasnt working but this didnt affect our winter stay.
Toiletries, toilet rolls and teabags etc were requestable from reception but would have been better if there were enough in the room for the length of stay, given that rooms are not serviced for free unless you stay for 7 days.

We had an amazing 3 nights in London. The Hitel are really good location, it has 2 underground station and really close bus stip as well. The room was alright clean and good size for 2. It had cooker, microwave, tea, cafe and fridge. Really convenient for have a good breakfast.

They might consider to change the mattress becauss it was quite old and uncomfortable, but it was good for the value

Windows so dirty that it was impossible to establish the weather outside, the view was of a large building where we could see our neighbours. The bathroom was rather smelly (drains possibly). We opted out to not use anything in the kitchen. The TV was small and the only armchair had seen better days

The place overall seemed a little run down, the shower door wouldn’t close for me after I initially opened it, the toilet seat was also broken. Walls were very thin so could hear everything going on within the building, people walking around, people’s phones alarms and people having conversations. The location is the best thing about it as it’s very close to Hyde Park but never would come back

For a 4* hotel and the cost of a room I expected more. The room was basic at best. We were placed in what seemed like a basement with only one window letting in natural light which was on the ceiling. No way to block out the morning sun. The mattress was uncomfortable and lumpy we did not trust the cleanliness so slept on top of the duvet. We even encountered cockroaches in our room. We were moved but if theyre in one room theyd be in the others. Outraged and disgusted with this hotel.

Overall the room was ok. Definitely not luxury and not worth the amount we paid per night but we were mostly there to sleep. The shower was tiny with mould in the grout and a broken door handle. The toilet seat was about to come of though they did fix it when I reported it. The front door scanner was flat so that was fixed too. We couldn't leave the window open as it opened straight into a courtyard so that made the room super hot. No AC only two fans which were noisy. TV was above the bed so that was awkward to watch. Vinyl flooring was lifting. No teatowel to wipe dishes. No safe to secure any items. Door was left ajar after they'd fixed the toilet seat so anyone could've entered our room. Staff were nice enough. Good location near two trainlines and bus routes.

A Place for homeless

I booked this hotel for a 7 day family vacation at London. It’s the first time in my life I had to booked another hotel two days after staying here.

When I checked in, I was given a room in basement. I couldn’t believe my ears and had to ask the clerk again. We ended up staying because we are all tired after a long red-eye flight from the US. The hall way to the room is like a maze with many doors. The room floor is not clean. The worst is the mattress, it’s springs are so old that it doesn’t give any support. My wife woke up the next with a sore back. We stayed another day just hoping we can get used to it and enjoy our vacation. But the next night it became worse. Someone upstairs stomping the floor for an hour. And you can hear all kind of noise like toilet flushing, underground train running. My wife’s back felt like broken. So we packed our luggage and found a branded hotel to enjoy the rest of our vacation.

The Uber driver told us the low end hotels in the area are for people in between moving their homes who seeks a cheap place to stay. But the price we paid is really not that cheap. I can’t believe this hotel can still get a 3 star rating.

Good stuff: Location is great! Close to Hyde Park, 2 tube stations, busses, lots of restaurants and grocery shops.
Staff were friendly, but distant.
The apartment was nice size for us (2 adults and 2 children, 1 bedroom, one room with bed for kids + eating area and small kitchenette).
The room was facing the back-side and was quiet even with the windows were open.

Not so good: The rooms were a bit dirty and run down. Windows haven't been cleaned in a long while. There was a huge spider in our bedroom. There's no air-conditioning, so we kept the windows open. The water pressure on the 4th floor is quite low.

In a shower to shower in, an added bonus of a small kitchen which was working. Ok the room didn’t look like any of the photos on hotels.com and it was warm. If You want 5* for 1* price then book somewhere else you want somewhere to sleep for 8 hours have a shower then leave then that’s what you get.

Great location, looks promising in the pictures until you get there.
The corridor on the way to my room smelled weed.
I was put in the basement room, overlooking the tiny courtyard with a big trash container in the middle. The window was not sealed - even closed you could hear all the street noises and smell the weed and cigarette smoke.
Cleanliness level was a disaster. The room hasn’t seen cleaning agents for a very long time. Not to mention any deep cleaning. Window blind (which had to be down all the time) was dirty. Toaster was sticky of dirt. Bathroom - buildup of lime and mould and some blah stuff around shower cabin, shower-head so dirty that I was considering not to shower at all since who knows what was coming out of it with water.
I turned on the toaster and the fire sensor went off. I was stressed to shower since I like my showers hot and was concerned that the steam will make the sensor go off again.
Water in shower barely flowing - shower head being clogged with lime and brownish thing difficult to identify.
Bathroom not maintained at all. The bar that holds the shower head was barely holding - I was sure at some point it would just fall on my head. No bedside table, no work desk (online it listed desk), no carpet. I didn’t feel safe at all.
Calling this place “executive” is a joke. Calling this room “superior” is a joke. And displaying on the websites pictures that have nothing to do with reality is just cheating. My first and last time there.

Not a good experience. Paid for two nights but left after one. Bathroom window lock was broken and the people adjacent were partying in their room until 3am smoking drugs out their window. Didn’t feel safe.
Bed mattress had to be 20years old. Sink hole in shower was blocked so could not run shower for more than 2/3 min

Not executive at all!

Not executive at all. Not even a table to do computer work. Not even bedside lamps, in the evening I had to read with the full light on, like in a student room. Toasting bread? Forget it, the fire alarm sounds! The second day I toasted basically at the window left open, to avoid the alarm to sound. A sad small TV positioned on top of the bed's pillow and an armchair - you tell me how am I supposed to watch it? Upside down in bed? Or moving the armchair in front of the fridge? It's a laugh. Notwithstanding the bed, kitchen and bathroom are clean, check out my pictures of the blind, its cord, and one of the bar stools - yes because there wasn't even a proper chair, my work with the computer had to be done hanging on a bar stool near the sink... Let alone there is a blind, but not a curtain: so you either show all your activities to the whole of London, or you leave in darkness keeping the blind down if you want privacy (which I do). Oh, I almost forgot: how about bing asked for £5 to leave the luggage there after check-out? So poor! I did not leave the luggage of course, out of principle. If this place were called Hyde Park \"not really that good but is alright if you don't care about working and space and details\" Apartments, I'd understand; but... \"executive\"?!? Seriously?!? Never again. Booking it was a mistake.

Very uncomfortable

Stayed for 2 nights. Very small! Asked for extra pillows on the booking had to ask then just got pillow cases so had to ask again. Bath towels are more like hand towels. Bed was the extremely uncomfortable and creaky ! Was woken at 6am by young girls talking loudly and banging cases down stairs most likely because the rooms are so close together.

These apartments were exactly as one orhet revier put it...reminded me of student accommodation complete with dirty wine glasses, grubby/ dirty shower, strwnge looking marks on walls and on seats in kitchenette. Far too hot to sleep in ( Feb) had to sleep with 4th floor window wide open ! Not a pleasant stay

Looks nothing at all like the pictures. Some metal peice from the floor was sticking out and curled over which i stepped on made my foot bleed. They tried to clearly hide that by putting a chair over it. Place was very dingy. Would not recommend. Reception is beautiful the rooms horrendous. Slipper on the bed when i sat on it, need to put something under the bed so it doesnt slide around. Very hazardous place. Good thing i dont have any children or they wouldve seriously been hurt. Not worth £145, maybe £50. If that!

I was a little bit concerned I got a basement flat which felt very dark and very cold looking. The noise at night was quite bad (people talking on phone for hours was. a highlight)

Other than that it was nice, all facilities are good.

The Hyde Park Executive apartments are close to the tube station and it was affordable. The property was also clean and the bed neatly made up, but the rest was rather disappointing.
We had to wait nearly 10mins before we were let in by reception, the bed was uncomfortable, the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work, there was noise throughout the night and the staff were not particularly friendly.

Don't believe the photos

The hotel is not for business travelers. The hotel is closer to a hostel than a hotel. The place smelled of the different foods being cooked in the different apartments. It was noisy and there was no air conditioning, so air was stale. The room was very sparse. The pictures are not a true indication of the hotel. I immediately checked out and went to the Hilton.

We were given a room upon arrival where the toilet was blocked and full of water. We were given a second room that was a twin room as opposed to double. Cleanliness wasn’t great, bathroom smelt foul on arrival.

The bed was broken. The double bed wasn’t constructed properly and was dangerous. The bed split in half causing me to fall and hit my back hard on the wooden floor. Still in pain

Absolutely terrible place to stay. It seems like they stopped maintaining the place years ago. Rooms are so dirty, I felt itchy all over the next day, shower cleanliness also was disaster. This is by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. Don’t let the cheaper price or the area misguide you, the area is nice but the street this hotel located is filled with drug dealers and thugs. Anyone who says ‘it’s not that bad is obviously a PR attempt to keep face a little bit’

I would highly NOT recommend!!! Ridiculously overpriced accommodation in Central London. I got poor service from the moment I arrived and the entire place was dirty and my room had cockroaches crawling on my bed in the night & no apology when I had to change rooms. Management never replied to my complaint but Expedia offered £50 compensation having not heard anything from the hotel.

Upon arrival there were some issues that they resolved immediately. The remainder of our stay had us in an apartment without air conditioning. They did supply us with a floor fan which made our stay a little more comfortable.

The location of the apartments was excellent. There was lots to see and do, and it was really nice being on the quiet side of Hyde Park. The apartment itself was extremely bare bones, and minimal in all respects. Also, it was very hot in the rooms, even when cool outside, and even with the windows open.

I checked in as a young women (twenties) on my own and can honestly say I was given the worst room in the entire place.

The basement room had a large slide-open window which faced a tiny courtyard where gangs of men came out to smoke - and they could see EVERYTHING. Safe to say I slept with my window and curtains closed, sweating in 30-degree weather.

To my horror, I also discovered:
The microwave was broken
The shower knob was broken meaning I couldn’t control the temperature
The safe wouldn’t work so I had to bring everything out with me
The sink wouldn’t drain so I could only use it once

At this point, it was 10pm, I was desperate to eat and went down to reception to request a room change. I was refused as the hotel was ‘fully booked’ despite the fact that guests were still checking in and saying how sorry they felt for me!

Absolutely horrible stay, vile place, no regard for your safety and it’s very doubtful that this is the first time that this has been brought to their attention.

I’m now going through the small claims court failing a response to any of my emails,

Anything but Executive

Ok, the location is great. A 1 minute walk from the north edge of Hyde Park, but this accommodation is anything but executive.

We were given a basement apartment. On arrival the carpets in hall looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. We reported this and nothing was done about it.

Inside, our \"family apartment\" consisted of a clean kitchen, a clean bathroom, and three very old, cheap, squeaky beds on castors that moved every time you went near them. None had head boards so you couldn't sit upright on them.

Aside from that, it was the usual tick list of things you don't want to find in your room: Damp coming through the wall paint, shower barely dribbling, shower not able to stay at a decent height and the boiler flu for the unit just outside the one and only window so there was an odd smell of gas a lot of the time. Oh. No carbon monoxide detector either. But. Imm here to tell the tale so I guess there wasn't any.

Good location for the price, but lousy accommodation.
