Hotel is currently undergoing renovations, the outside of the building has scaffolding blocking all view from windows, aside from that it was a fantastic stay, staff are polite and very helpful, modern rooms with walk in shower, very comfortable and clean.

I cannot recommend this hotel for disabled travellers or those travelling with disabled people. Unfortunately, the hotel misunderstands the laws set out in the Equalities Act of 2010. When pointed out the misunderstanding there was an unfortunate instance with the hotel manager not accepting that he had misunderstood the law. Because of this issue I was forced to find alternative accommodation. I found that the Manager’s inability to accommodate me and his refusal to accept that he had misunderstood the law. It is one of the hotels in that area with a step free entrance for wheelchair guests. As I am concerned about the misunderstanding when the law is very clear. If you are considering staying here as a disabled, I would recommend working with Expedia to make sure you’re going to get access. I did call the previous night to confirm. It didn’t seem to make a difference. I would like to mention that as a guest it is your decision where to stay. When deciding where to stay knowing the difficulties I experienced be taken into account when deciding where to stay.

The location was super convenient and the newly renovated room stylish and comfortable. It exceeded my expectations. There are two tube stations nearby, lots of supermarkets and restaurants. The location was quiet. The only thing was that I had a random pinging sound in my room every few minutes that I couldn't work out what it was.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. However our room was not great. We walked into our original room and immediately walked back out due to an overpowering musty / dank smell. Reception did then allocate us another room, the smell was slightly less however still very noticeable. Toilet seat was cracked, carpet threadbare in places, grouting in the bathroom floor tiles was crumbling. Hotel did have good reviews so other floors may have been better as there is currently renovations work ongoing, but mezzanine floor definitely needs freshening up next.

The sink in the bathroom wasn't the most useable, but everything was in good condition.
Great amenities in the room, free tea, coffee, water and a little fridge.
One morning we were awoken around 8:30am due to drilling from a room above, as they are refurbishing the hotel.

A very good hotel on a quiet side street round the corner from Bayswater and Queensway Underground stations, lots of restaurants etc. The building was undergoing extensive renovations at the time of my visit but it did not really bother me at all.

The room was tiny (as usual in London) but more than adequate for a short stay, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. Everything worked perfectly well. The cost was very reasonable by London standards, although that may have been due to the hotel charging a reduced rate because of the renovations.

A special thank you to the extremely helpful and kind receptionist - sorry, I didn't get his name - who helped solve the mix-up (which was my fault entirely!) over breakfast.

Room was very clean and updated. The staff was very friendly. Be mindful that this hotel is undergoing major renovations that begins at 09:00 A.M. however not on the weekends. Location is fantastic! 2 minute walk to Kensington Park. And less than 5 minute walk to Queensway underground. Would stay there again!

We stayed at the Central Park hotel for 4 nights in the deluxe newly refurbished room. It was very clean and modern and cleaned everyday by the housekeepers.
However, on the first night we stayed the fire alarm went off at 2:30 in the morning which thankfully was a false alarm but was very inconvenient having to use the lift to get to the ground floor as the stairs were not well sign posted.
The hotel was also being actively refurbished during our stay so you could not have a lay in as you would get woken up at around 9 every morning by extreme drilling sounds. Apart from that, it was a lovely hotel and conveniently close to everything we needed.

It was under renovation during my stay, so noisy during the day.
My room had been recently redone and looked lovely. It was quite comfortable.
The bathroom looked lovely too, but smelled strongly of sewer gas. There was no rim across the shower so the water backed up all across the bathroom floor.

The room we stayed in had clearly just been renovated, and that was appreciated. Our beds were comfortable and we were allowed to check in a few hours early for a small fee. Our room was small but about average for that area (and price point) in London.

Only complaint--I'm not sure if the walls in the hotel are paper thin, or many other guests were inconsiderate, or the hotel needs to update the hinges on all doors but we constantly heard doors slamming at all hours. It was a little hard to fall asleep because of that.

Aside from that minor complaint, our one night stay here was fine. Would recommend to fellow travelers.

One lift was out of action for the renovation and this meant that there were longer waits for the lifts, but this is not to be helped. The building work wasn’t supposed to start while 9am but did start earlier on one of the days we stayed, wasn’t a bother for us as we had to be up but would’ve been annoying if not.

I chose a refurbed room one grade higher than on my previous visit. Once again, it was wonderfully quiet, warm and clean, while also being noticeably more spacious.
The addition of a fridge and coffee maker make mornings especially enjoyable, and the housekeeping team were, as ever, extremely helpful and attentive. The rooms have been beautifully refurbished, which adds to the overall comfort and appeal of the stay and the staff polite, professional, and attentive at all times, which really enhances the experience. The location is fantastic, with easy access to amenities, restaurants, shops, parks, and transport links. Another fabulous stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning again soon.

Nice hotel! Stayed 4 nights here in a newly refurbished room. Very clean and modern. They are doing construction on a big part of the hotel, so expect noise if you're around during the day time. In a good neighborhood, and lots of transport options within walking distance. Also good food and grocery marts near by. My only complaint is the shower. The bathroom is small, and only half the shower is covered so regardless of if you use the shower head or the handheld thing the entire floor ends up soaked!!

Rude staff on arrival, carried on their day to day tasks before serving. No lift to room which meant a flights of stairs with heavy suitcases. While they are renovating, in order to access our room we had to walk through the building site which was naturally dusty. Room was terrible, nothing like the photos. Black mold in the shower, aircon/heater didn’t work, view of scaffolding making the room dark and could only use the lights to see and the room looked like it was falling apart.

Only pro of this hotel was the location.

The new rooms are basic but of very good standard and comfortable. Great to have a coffee pod machine, hairdryer and slippers. Small but well fitted shower room. Really comfortable bed, the room maintained a good temperature which led to a good sleep.
I have only marked as 3star as hotel is undergoing renovations and the light to the room was blocked by the scaffold and the workers lift was operating outside my window so curtains were kept closed. Only stayed one night with early start so not an issue but a longer stay could be an issue.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and made a point of checking all was ok with my stay on morning of departure.

We had a lovely mid week 2 night stay in March. The hotel is undergoing renovations but this didn't disturb us as we were out through the day. The location is perfect, just off Hyde Park and is close to several tube stations for easy access to all London attractions. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the renovated room was clean and comfortable. We'd stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel.

Racists & discrimination from staff is very clear here. This is not a friendly hotel. Poorly trained and unknowledgeable staff. Hotel construction horrendous and no gym. Very low grade. I would never stay or recommend. So many hotels in this area. You will have no problem finding another place.

Our stay in the renovated room was satisfactory. The room was clean, semi comfortable and did not smell. While the room is a little snug, one can manage.

The downsides that stood out to us were the following:

The air unit makes a dripping sound in the middle of the night, which can be annoying if you're a light sleeper.

The bathroom does not exhaust well at all, so the steam sweats off the walls and every other surface.

The shower design doesnt keep the water in the shower, instead it runs all over the bathroom floor, soaking every thing in its path.

The bathroom sink is impractical to use, it gets water every where.

The room door requires you to pull the door closed forcefully creating a loud noise.

The bed is not long enough for taller people.

The bed was clean but small for a couple. The duvet is way too warm and doesn't breathe, considering also AC is available. We found a dust-bunny in a corner and there was funky smell from the shower drain when we got in, and even after taking a couple of showers (some bleach in the drain would fix it....).
The room/bathroom is small but otherwise functional and pleasant.
The property is under renovation, so expect noise from 9am or so, till 5pm. And there is only one lift in operation, so there is some wait.
But the rating of 4/5 starts is due to the cleanliness of the room and smell, and the size of the bed, more than anything else.
If the prices are not going to explode, and cleanliness improved, I would return to this property. The location is fantastic and staff are nice.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Building work was disruptive which did have a negative effect. Hotel did communicate this but slightly more disruptive than we thought. The works meant only one lift which could be frustrating as other guests could be rude dispute you waiting. There are many floors to service with only the one small lift working.
The room itself was very nicely done and cleaned very well. Bed sheets were too short so kept unraveling whist sleeping. Was a little annoying.
Room came with fridge which was epic with a young family. Great location in London.

Cheap, but not cheerful. We chose a deluxe basement/windowless. It was windowless, but deluxe it was not. The room’s heating system, as it was cold, didn’t function properly and the door to the shower-room would close & had permanent lighting - so reinforced the dungeon experience. It was reasonable, but crossed the line on VFM. Lesson - don’t go for the windowless.

I've been staying at this hotel since 2013. It's even better with the complete refurbishment of the rooms and hallways. The new rooms are excellent, with super comfortable beds and walkin showers. The location is superb with Hyde park a minutes walk away and two Tube stations within just a few minutes walk. The staff are extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were booked into the central but were moved to the royal eagle as the central were not going to have electricity for half of our stay. We had booked full English breakfast but the royal eagle only do continental breakfast. Not informed of this till I phoned day before travel. Customer service is atrocious. Sent numerous messages and not had a reply to any. They quick to take your money but not courteous enough to answer your messages.

Overall, the reception staff were friendly and helpful from the time I arrived until I checked out. The hotel’s location is very convenient, as it is close to both the tube and bus stops. However, the room and interior of the hotel need significant improvement. The bathroom design was poorly thought out—the shower has no enclosure, causing water to spill everywhere, and although the sink looks modern, it is very impractical. Despite daily housekeeping, the room still felt dirty; the bed was made, but the sheets were not changed. Additionally, the hotel is currently under construction, so there was loud banging noise in the mornings. The soundproofing is also inadequate, as noise from the hallway can be clearly heard. Despite these issues, I enjoyed my stay, but I would probably choose another hotel next time.

Was a bit of a back and worth with the 24 hr power failure being canceled. And when we had the fire an offer of drinks while we waited would have been appreciated. If I had not asked would not have received comp late check out. Which I do appreciate.

Good location near district and central lines, and easy access to shops and cafes.
Staff was unfriendly at check-in and seemed very disorganized.
The room was small but clean and I think recently renovated, but the shower doesn’t have a door so water goes everywhere (would be good to at least have a squeegee in the bathroom so it’s possible to clean).
The room is definitely not soundproof, everyone walking through the hallways can be easily heard through the door, bring earplugs.

Very disappointed. When asked if I could be far away from the construction noise I was told that I wouldn’t hear it since I was on the 6th floor. Guess what. They were right outside of my window with what sounded like a jackhammer first thing every morning. When asked if I could get another room was told the hotel was fully booked. I stayed at Central Hotel Park from 30th November to 1st December and unfortunately had a very negative experience, mainly due to the behaviour of one of the security staff.

I completely understand the hotel’s policy regarding the number of guests allowed in a room. However, when I explained that a friend would only be visiting for around 30 minutes (not staying overnight), the security guard became extremely rude and aggressive. Instead of calmly advising me or directing me to reception, he raised his voice at me in the lobby and spoke in a hostile way that was completely unprofessional.

What shocked me most was that he threatened to cancel my booking with no refund simply because I asked a question. He then said he knew where I worked and would come to “disturb” me, and even referenced having a photocopy of my ID in a way that felt intimidating. As a guest, this made me feel unsafe and disrespected.

Because of this, I didn’t even feel comfortable reporting other issues with my stay:
•The room was extremely cold — the heater didn’t work properly.
•There was loud construction noise early in the morning, making it difficult to rest.

Normally I could overlook these things for a short stay, but the unprofessional behaviour from the security staff overshadowed everything. This team member is absolutely not doing the hotel any favours — he is damaging the hotel’s reputation and making guests feel uncomfortable.

Heating/aircon didn’t work but resolved by portable heater being given. Room and hotel were lovely. Cleaner very lovely and helpful too! Overall very happy x
