One would think a hotel would provide a phone for their guests, even for one local call. I needed to call the car rental When we arrived, the heater wasn’t working, they fixed it right away. The shower isn’t the best, i can’t adjust the height because the adjustment is cracked so the shower head is throwing water on my neck. The condition of the room is not the best, kitchen cabinets were all worn out, baseboards are warped. The whole room needs to be renovated now, finishes were all outdated and worn out.

The walls are thin and I could hear the people in other rooms. It disturbed my sleep. Not enough towels and no full length mirror to really see yourself. It's the small things that count sometimes. The people at the desk were friendly.

The hotel after the experience is clean and new, and everything is modern, the service, cleanliness, and the kindness of the staff. I recommend it a million percent. It is one of the cleanest and most upscale places to stay in London.

Dont judge a book by its cover

Upon arrival we asked a male where we could do washing, he willingly searched maps and showed us the closest laundromat about a 10 minute walk.
After settling in our room 79/20, the hot water was not working in any tap. A maintenance person arrived the next day and fixed the issue
On the 4th day the ceiling started leaking from the abve unit and we were moved to 77/10 which had no air con, no fan, no coat hangers, no hair dryer, no tea towels, 1 very small mug for tea/coffee. All except air con were provided after several \"whatsapp\" exchanges and face to face communication
My wife then noticed a laundry sign on the hallway wall and upon asking, was assisted by staff to the coin operated washing machine and dryer albeit that we were told 2 pound and upon inserting, the machine didnt start necessitating a very friendly and efficient female staff member to come and solve the issue which was that it was actually 2 pound 50 pence to operate
Again another bad experience as we walked to the laundromat advised on day 1 which cost 7 pounds to wash and 3 pound for drier
Overall a lot of time wasted solving issues that i have never encountered in the many hotels/motels i have stayed at
But a great location close to 2 railway stations, shops and eateries
Some staff need to be provided more efficient training and simple signs displaying costs for the washing machine and drier would be very helpful
All the apartments are very presentable from the outside

Super clear to Bayswater tube station like fantastic location!
The building is picturesque the whole of the road is tbh perfect if you do social media.
The room however was cold and the bin wasn’t emptied from the previous guest.
Also the remote stuck when using it but the place was lovely in general and bed comfy

I have reached out to the hotel six times regarding these matters and, unfortunately, I haven't received a response yet.
It was a bit confusing upon our arrival since there were no clear instructions for check-in. Thankfully, another guest was kind enough to let us know that there was a building down the road where we could check in, as it seemed to be part of the same business. It made the situation a little easier, but we certainly could have used clearer guidance from the start.
The apartment we were promised in the pictures was nothing like the reality we faced; instead of a charming space, we were handed a dingy, dilapidated room that left us feeling utterly disappointed.
There was water damage to the cupboards on the floor.
Wires dangled precariously from the walls, creating a hazardous maze of exposed connections. Outside, scaffolding loomed like a giant skeleton, obscuring the view and turning the window into a mere frame for construction chaos.
A power source was installed through the wall of our bedroom, utilizing an extension cord to supply electricity to the adjacent room quite stupid
Early in the morning, a cleaning staff member inquired if we could reconnect the power source.
The TV was broken of the screen turning multiple colours.
Place just seen frankly dangerous and none of these concerns were taken seriously at the time or subsequently when brought to their attention.
Indicating they know and they’re just getting money for appalling substandard conditions

The rooms were very vary basic. Kitchen items were minimal. Had problems with water leaks twice . Fridge didn't work properly . 1 of the 2 accessable outlets on counter didn't work. There are 22 stairs between every floor. No elevator. The area was nice . they replaced the fridge, repaired the plug outlet the water didn't leak the next day . The manager was quite helpful , however it was not a good way to start our 1st visit to the UK

Disappointing to see that there were no amenities such as kitchen towels, dish soap, and complementary items. The pillow was terrible and no blankets only a light comforter was offered. No window in the bathroom or ventilation so you can imagine. Very small apartment with very little space to put your belongings away.

This apartment accommodation right next to two different tube stops as well as Hyde Park looked great in the pictures and price wasn't too much in London standards so we decided to take a shot a book it. Location is indeed perfect and for sightseeing Circle line is very useful. There's also grocery store and many restaurants within 5-min walking distance from the hotel which was very convenient.

Upon check-in we had to call the reception just to find out it's few doors down the street. I'm not sure if this is informed somewhere but we weren't aware of this. Lady at the check-in was very nice and polite so big plus to reception staff!

Room itself was the one that tipped my review to the negative side. Room looked very worn out and in need of refurbishlment. Scratches and dents on the walls, creaky and loose door thresholds and handles and as a cherry to the cake a balcony door that doesn't stay shut. These things didn't really bother us as we were out most of the day but they stick out from the overall condition of the room. Room has fridge, oven, stove, microwave oven, fan and heater so well equipped.

All in all our stay at Imperial Court Studios was good and we might even stay here again should we ever come to London. Don't let the first impression pull down your holiday feeling!

After reading the reviews on Expedia, we did not know what to expect as they were going from an extreme to another.

However, we were very pleasantly surprised by the studio on the 4th floor. The first studio was extremely filthy and the cleaning had not been done, but the receptionist was very understanding and immediately changed us to another place.
While the bathroom severely lacked ventilation, the studio itself was very good. All essential amenities were provided, and the location in Kensington is very central and superb. The hold for the deposit was paid back the same day and the reception was available 24h.
The only things to be wary about are the possibility to have a basement accommodation - luckily it was not the case for us, and the fact that there is no elevator. We were on the 4th floor, and it is something to consider if you have mobility issues.

The picture do not represent the horrible place this is. The rooms are extremely outdated, dusty and just general cleaning is terrible. A 4-years old could do better cleaning. The appliances are also outdated and not working to their standards. The staff are quite rude and not helpful at all. Our next door neighbours had a huge party in their room until 4am and staff did not bother them but instead told the rest of us we need to tolerate it as they cant do anything about it. Although, their website clearly states quite hours. Anyways all in all they’re just after your money and dont care about your comfort, or satisfaction. Spend your money wisely and dont come to them, the other hotels in the same street are theirs aswell so dont bother booking it at all.

It’s not clean

On the photos room was ok. But when we came there we found room with bad smell it was not clean with mold on windows, hair on the floor. We want to stay there for 2 weeks but after we saw the room, we cancel all and on the next day moved in other place.

We stayed for 2 weeks and picked it for its location and price. The staff was all amazing and when we needed something they responded right away and were very helpful.

It is a lower cost accomidation and shows but nothing that was unmanageable. The mattress was all springs and the shower didnt drain on tbe first day (but they addressed that right away). And we were on the 3rd floor which was a lot of work everytime. Not the worst and we knew there was no elevator so we were prepared.

I would stay here again but not for 2 weeks cause my back was messed up after from the mattress!

The apartment was very basic and poorly maintained. The furniture was de-organised and very old. The flat areas were not bad, but with the lack of proper furniture and maintenance made an unpelasent place to be. The bed was uncomfortable and piłowa were even worse. Had a really though time to sleep in there. Would not recommend it for more than 2 or 3 nights, but in that case features such as a kitchen or a laundry are not so relevant so probably better to go to a regular hotel. £20 for a late check out until 1pm is just the cherry on the top of a bad stay.

The property is in a better condition than some reviews state. On appearance the establishment is clean but discovered I had neen sleeping under blood stained duvet. Livid since the cleaners knew as sheets has been changed at least 3ce. The balcony needs cleaning of birds' dropping. High potential if properly managed. Good location, quiet street.

We booked this apartment for 1 week, the location was great. However, when we arrived with our big suitcases, we had to go up 4 flights of stairs (no lift) and the room was nothing like the photos. The staff were helpful and changed our room once we complained. We were then moved to the basement. The bathroom windows were laminated up, meaning it was freezing when we showered. There were also bed bugs, ants in the kitchen and black mould in the bathroom. We then complained again asking to move rooms due to being covered in bed bug bites, they questioned us and were hesitant to move us right away. We were eventually moved, but all in all this is very budget accomodation that is not very sanitary. I got covered in bed bugs and unfortunately my partner fell ill during our stay here.

The main entrance of the studios not very clean it needs some look after. As you go on the stairs its a smell of old and damp.

The intercom to open the main door it didnt worked properly.

The fan in the bathroom didnt worked either so the steam of the shower couldnt go anywhere.

It seems that the previous guest didnt bothered to report any issues regarding the accomodation I stayed to the studio managment office.

Also in the corridors you could smell
That guest in there where smoking illegal substances which it was very umpleasant.

So I wont be staying there again.

Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Pillows need replacing, lumpy and stink. I found hairs on and in the bed. The TV is practically hanging off the wall. It's a smart TV, but no so smart as to be able to connect to the WiFi! The room was also cold, with a very ineffective heater on the wall on other side of the room. Overall not a good stay, and not worth the price. Didn't sleep a wink

Really good sized studio on 3rd floor, nicely decorated with big kitchen area. No hob only an oven. There was a bit of damp on the walls and the heater didn’t seem to work but for the price paid we had no complaints at all. There is a £100 cash deposit to pay at check which was promptly refunded at check out.

We were then switched to a room on the second floor which was an improvement but the bathroom smelt so strongly of mold that we had to sleep with the bathroom door closed. I realize this is a budget hotel but I would recommend budgeting elsewhere.

We were not aware that our room was going to be at the top of a 5th story walk-up. No elevators. Bed was old and squeaky. Cleaning was done upon request but had to be requested the day before. We requested it to get fresh towels and they forgot. Had to go all the way back down the stairs and walk a couple of buildings over. They were nice and apologetic about it. Would not recommend for more than a couple of nights.

Be aware THERE IS NO LIFT. If you are not on the Ground floor you will have to cart your bags up narrow stairs with no handrail around sharp corners. I had to crawl on hands and knees pulling my bag up step by step.

Had the room on the ground floor, lots of people from the hotel assembling on the benches in front of the room at night to smoke and talk loudly. Curtains did not keep the light out. Microwave was broken, had to prop it up to make it work. Fridge did not work properly, I turned it right down but it was still very cold, had to let stuff thaw before I could eat it. Bathroom was incredibly small, the shower was functional but it all had the feel of old and not so clean.
Staff at reception were nice and helpful. Location is great, a few minutes from Bayswater tube station.

We had to wait to check in on the 17th September as the only receptionist was out getting KFC. When he got back he was rude and unhelpful, he then took our deposit and gave us room 17B in building 77. This was a basement room that was was dark and dingy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. We had a set time outing already planned and simply dropped our bags to the room and headed out. Upon getting back to the room and further inspecting it we found that the toilet was blocked and wouldn’t flush properly. We notified reception to ask for a better room considering the fact that we booked 3 months in advance and were given a terrible room. He simply said ‘that’s absolutely not possible’ and phoned someone to fix it. A man came and we had to show him to the room to which he did not have a key to meaning we had to sit in the room whilst he ‘fixed’ the toilet. He left stating that it was working however when we flushed the toilet a horrible black watery substance came up through the shower drain(see attached image) and left a horrible sewer smell in the room. We again went to reception to complain and were again told that we couldn’t have a new room and that the man who tried to fix the toilet went home and had stayed 13 minutes extra after his shift. The receptionist called him back to fix it properly and again we had to sit in the room whilst he fixed it which took 45 minutes and left the room smelling even worse. Got another room on the second night, better room.

We booked a standard double room with kitchen, it didn't look anything like the picture. Half the size, no oven which we planned on using. the toilet was cracked, the floorboards coming up, walls peeling (which the management blamed on the 'damp' weather in London), the ironing board and bed ha own them, the door leading out to the street (a basement room) had a faulty lock and more. So we spoke to the management asking for either what we paid for or some compensation, he told us there was nothing he could do, we could just pay double for a better room. We asked for a refund as we we wanted to go to another hotel and they refused us. Never stay here, wasted £300! The WORST hotel and management I have ever seen.

The property is very well located the rooms very well designed,whatever, I will give a low rate based on recent and awful experience there...
The rooms are cold, The electrical shower is a headache to Be able to manage, even the front the desk members do not know how to operate with it...
2 nights there I got sick, I been and still under medication. The worst all is the front desk member: They are rude and not much help when you needed. I won’t stay there again..

The room was nothing like the pictures. We were put in a basement room with a big back door which wasn’t safe at all it just had one bolt if someone pushed hard enough they could probably come through. The staff were miserable and we had to pay at £100 cash deposit which wasn’t stated before arriving

This hotel wasn't what I was expecting. The pictures were alot different to the actual room. The room wasn't All that clean. The bed sheets weren't changed on e the whole week we stayed nor were we giving any new towels or bathroom amenities. We stayed for 5 days and we had to go to reception which is down the road from we're we stayed just to get loo roll. We where on the 4th floor with no lift excess which ment we had to walk up 6 flights of stairs everyday. Won't be staying here again. Very dissapointed.

The address is shown as 77 -79 Inverness terrace, but on arrival you cannot get in. I had to call to be told I needed to check in at 55. This should be provided with the booking details.
The room was not ready until nearly 3 o'clock.
The light switch above the bed doesn't work.
As the bed is squeezed in there is no bedside table or place to leave glasses etc. It was more compact than any of the photos so rather misleading.
There was no number on the hall door to show how to get to the room as it was in the basement.

Would not stay if a luxury stay is wanted.

The decor was very slap dash on painting the walls and all grouting was awful in the bathroom.
Bed was and old ikea mattress...
It was spacious

my stay at the imperial court hotel was primarily for work as I was traveling from Lancashire to Surrey and then to Cambridge. Checking in was easy. The room I stayed in was a short distance from reception and was a basement apartment. The room was well equipped and whilst the cleanliness was not at a high standard everything was OK and suited my short stay.

I really struggled with the shower, it looked like a power shower set up but the water pressure was awful. Made worse was the fact that I couldn't get the shower to maintain a consistent temperature.

The overall it was ok, good value for money considering the location. On balance i would probably stay here again for another short (2 nights) stay.

The room was exactly as paid for, but had to sleep with my big hoody on as there was a cold draught coming from the patio doors and the heater in the room knocked off itself and then would not come back on.

Great place to explore London from!

Needed a room whilst we explored London and this was perfect. Check in was quick and friendly. Room was as expected. Bed was comfy! Two tube stations less than 5 minutes walk away so convenient to hop on and explore. Hyde park just down the road. Tesco and Sainsbury’s round the corner.

everying ok. the most I like is the nearest train station both Queens way and Bayswater station so that can go to oxford circus station for going shopping in Reagent street and Bond street. Another thing is nearest Hop on bus station (origional tour) stop M is easily for sight seeing tour.

The room wasn’t clean and ready for check in and the person behind the check in desk did not seem in a hurry. The cleaners came and asked which rooms needed preparing and had a break before setting off and it didn’t take them long to get it ready. The room had mould in the bathroom and holes in the walls. During the first night of trying to sleep it became apparant there were mice running around. We found a mouse trap which we have evidence of. Every night the mice would make so much noise it was hard to sleep.
