Very clean and very friendly lady on reception. Pleasantly surprised. Only negatives are the steep stairs after a long day in London haha. Very happy with our stay and would return. No aircon in room but wasn’t expecting any at the good value price.

Think Twice, website is misleading.

Honest info: website is misleading at best. £10 per bag charge for storage, £30 for late check out. I reserved a Deluxe Dbl room based on website photos, the room barely held a dbl bed. The open “closet” was tiny and not easy to access. I’ve traveled multiple countries, including previously to London, I understand rooms are small, but this was ridiculous, especially when considering the website false advertising photos. Staff did their best to be accommodating, and were helpful.
No problems with stairs (no lift), lots of “fire doors” to access the rooms. Rooms were clean and adequately maintained in general.
I would not stay at this hotel again.

Although the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The problem was the room at the top of the building 6 flights of stairs so don't take huge amounts of luggage it will take maximum effort and the windows !!!!! Rattle and bang honestly it would of been quieter sleeping under a tree in Hyde park.

The room was on the third floor upstairs, no lift, no AC, window was not able to open, the water heater in shower is a special mechanism that makes a lot of noise. It makes so terrible noise which you hear during very early morning hours when your neighbors in other rooms get shower. The breakfast is very simple, no scrambles.

The only thing I didn't like was the trip upstairs to our room -- I understand that in London \"4th floor\" means 4 flights up from the ground floor. But we had six flights, including the final steep, narrow, long flight (19 steps). Made me appreciate one aspect of what Victorian servants had to put up with!

We've stayed at this same hotel for over 40 years. The amenities are sufficient, however, feel that the staff ie. breakfast/cleaning crew felt like they were rushed and sometimes communication was difficult. Is it possible they are trying to do too much? Clean the rooms and take care of breakfast? I feel like more staffing would help. The check-in also was not an easy process.

We stayed here for about a week. The staff was very helpful. The room was very small but it was clean and tidy so I didn’t mind much. Only down side is we didn’t have air conditioning but we did have a fan so it was doable! The free breakfast was a nice bonus but was very basic as most continental breakfasts are.

We had a very pleasant stay, Georgiana at the front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful with anything we needed . The other staff members were also helpful, we had to leave early one day and they made a brown bag breakfast to take with us. The breakfast was good , if you have issues with your knees request a lower floor as there is not a lift and there are quite a bit of stairs. Rooms are small but comfortable.

When the basement triple room (next to busy breakfast room) wasn't ideal for our 1st night, we were offered to move to an upper floor for the next 2 nights which was great. First impressions were not great from the outside of the hotel and the reception area was not that welcoming yet once in the room you could not have asked for much better and the location of the hotel was superb for all London’s attractions.

The double room was very well presented, with excellent décor and well maintained plus it contained all you require for a comfortable stay, smart TV and speedy Wi-Fi together with the whole hotel being spotlessly clean and due to its location in a residential street was very quiet.

The continental breakfast was good, though the coffee was appalling.

All in all an excellent hotel in the heart of Bayswater.

Short Stay - Lovely Staff

My sister and I stayed on a Saturday night in early December in a double room. We checked in late at night and the staff on reception were lovely. The reception area was warm and inviting. Our room was small but the space was well used and we had everything we needed. The bathroom was beautiful. On checking out, the lady at reception was very helpful and gave us directions to the tube which was a short walk.

Got this hotel for a bargain price and very happy with it. It's small but adequate. The room we had was a deluxe twin - the twin beds were on wheels and the room was spacious so we could move them. No frills but for the price I paid I would happily stay again in the same room.

I am enjoying my stay at this hotel. The room has everything you need, including safe, flat screen TV, modern beds. The pillows and bedding are excellent. The bathroom is so clean and has modern mirror and 2 heads shower. The staff is so welcoming and pleasant. Continental breakfast has everything you want . Will be coming back for sure!

We stayed for one night and had a basement room which was a reasonable size and clean. The bathroom window and the vent wouldn’t shut though so it was very cold in there - as it was just one night we made do also doubled as a fridge for our drinks.

Staff were always friendly and we could leave our bags after checkout. The area itself is quiet and close to two tube stations plus Hyde Park.

I thought it was a bit expensive for what it was but London is gon’ be London.

A stuff named Villia was extremely mean. She requested me to exchange a tower while asking an additional tower; she grabbed away my drinking glass when I didn’t realize the breakfast was half hour late on weekends; she asked me to pay for my breakfast before she understood our room change situation. She never approached me to apologize. The front desk staff, Atef Tair is very nice and very helpful.

I only stayed at Caring Hotel for one night. It was nice enough for just that. It definitely gives motel vibes, so if you're looking for something fancy, this is not that. I was on the bottom floor and the walls were a little thin down there. Other than that, the staff was really nice and helpful and the space was overall clean. It's in a nice area that I didn't get to explore much since I was leaving the next day. All in all, not a bad hotel.

Lovely hotel in a very convenient area to Paddington station. The hotel was smart, very clean with a warm and friendly welcome. The room was situated on the top floor with no lift which would be difficult with a large suitcase. The room was very small but good value for the price and very clean and comfortable. The bed mattress was uncomfortable on the right side. We did not feed this back at the time .Excellent shower and nice light up mirror in the bathroom which was good for make up application.

Hotel is in a great location close to Paddington which is why i chose it. The room was ensuite but extremely small, just enough room to get around. The hot water came through after around 10 minutes of the water flowing which wasn't ideal, and the basin was so small you could only just get the small kettle underneath the tap to fill it for drinks. The staff weren't too interested in helping, and the breakfast was awful. Expected a continental breakfast as advertised but whilst the 'breakfast room' was being redone they delivered a bag of food to the room at 7am. I couldn't eat any of this food so had to go elsewhere, needless to say there weren't any hot drinks with this either. The hotel will look much better after the updates that are currently being completed, but this shouldn't affect anyone paying to stay there during that time

Great hotel - but under extensive renovations!

The hotel staff was great ~ very welcoming and helpful. We were in one of the newly renovated rooms, which was great! High-end bathroom, great shower, coffee/tea service in the room, phone chargers, etc. NOTE! The hotel is under massive renovations - which is great - except that we were on the fourth floor with no working elevator - so luggage carried up by us. My husband just had heart surgery...we did not know ahead of time. By the time we were back at the hotel, they had assigned us an upper room with no others available. Also, the breakfast room is closed - hotel compensated with bagged breakfast at our door - which is great - except that we didn't know before booking - breakfast was yogurt, banana, apple, and then several sugary packaged danishes. That said, the hotel is a (or WILL BE) a gem! Will stay again once the renovations are complete.

The hotel is in a pretty good location - only half a mile walk to the nearest underground. The service was fine and the room was clean. However, the bed was very uncomfortable, the WiFi was slow, and there weren’t any amenities (no iron or blow dryer). It was ok for its price, but I wouldn’t stay again.

This hotel was uncomfortable. The staff member at the desk was nice, but didn’t give any details about the rooms or place and definitely didn’t mention anything about the construction work right above our room (which we recorded because it was so loud to the point where we had to leave the hotel for a few hours). Also when booking this room online it was not mentioned at all that our bathroom would be separate and shared by 4 other rooms. Luckily we were only there for one night so we didn’t have to deal with the uncomfort all so much. The following morning we woke up to the alarm of construction with very loud banging and noise from above our head. We were grateful what we had to leave but were very unhappy that nobody even mentioned. The hotel should be closed when construction is going on right above a room. I already had a minor headache and it literally made it worse. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Shabby, and run-down. Yes its cheap but there are far better hotels in the same price bracket. Reception was quite terse and unintelligible when checking in. Took ages to find our room as we weren't told where it was properly. Room is dingy, not particularly clean. If you're a light sleeper you might want to avoid as rooms on the back of the hotel are next to the railway and there is an extractor fan you can't turn off in the bathroom. Bathroom floor was leaking before it was even used. Sockets hanging off the wall and one didn't work.
Bed comfortable enough and the TV worked fine. Good location.

The hotel staff was holding our bags near the office behind a door when we dropped them off. When we came back after check in time the had been moved to the middle of a hallway by the rooms open to all the hotel to pass by and out of line of sight by staff. Disappointing. The room had a sink that wouldn’t drain except very slowly. There was no soap in the bathrooms. Only one channel had my reception on the tv. All in all very disappointing.

Modest but comfortable in a good location near Hyde Park and Kensington Palace.
Good options for the tube and walking possible for some attractions.

WiFi was free and consistent, rooms were small but based on the price and location still represented good value.

Reception was always staffed and although we didn't need any help, the staff seemed friendly.

Breakfast was good, small room but comfortable and clean. Overall the hotel was in a good, safe and quiet location and was value for money.

Shame about the en-suite!!

The only let down for us was the en-suite bathroom. It was very small. There was no where to hang towels. There was no fan to prevent mould growing and a tile was loose on the floor which had water trapped in it. Everytime we stood on it water came out the side of the tile. The curtains in the room could have been longer to stop light coming in. Other wise our stay was good.

The hotel wasn’t fancy by any means but it was cozy. While we were told we’d be on the 2nd floor, it was more like the 4th. Some of the workers didn’t seem to speak decent English so it was hard to communicate depending on who was working. It was also SUPER hot in our room and while one employee said she could get us a fan when we got back, the next employee said they didn’t have any fans. Windows barely opened which also wasn’t good for airflow. It was nice that someone was there 24/7. The hotel is only a few blocks from 3 different tube stations so it was easy to get around. Only a couple blocks from anything we needed. We’d stay here again if we ever make it to London again.
