Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Rooms were small, smaller than expected but very efficient and appointed nicely. The gym/spa area was a lovely unanticipated addition. Will definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

So hospitality is hard. It takes an unrelenting attention to detail, a focus on detail, an incredibly flexible attitude, and a willingness to pivot when things go wrong. In my experience, EVERYONE at Inhabit Queens Garden embraces this.

Our first 24 hours was…not great. Absolutely zero reason to go into details, because what matters is the response, which was top notch.

Zahedha at reception and Angelo the manager turned a speed bump into a text book case in hospitality management.

So if you’re looking for a lovely, comfortable, conveniently located boutique hotel which feels far more like staying with a friend than a generic chain, then Inhabit Queens Gardens is the place for you. If you’re looking for a generic, boring, chain hotel…well you know where to look, this isn’t that, its SO much better!

Thoughtfully designed rooms with a distinctive Scandi design flair and a true environmental focus (not just ‘green washing!) are matched by comfortable public spaces. Add in a sauna, a small but entirely usable gym, a salt room (so cool!) and a lovely library, it’s hard to leave! While we didn’t eat in the restaurant, it looked and smelled great!

I travel to London regularly for work and pleasure, and this hotel, steps from Paddington and the link to Heathrow, is my new go-to. Try this place and the top-notch staff. I’m sure you won’t be sad.

Close to Paddington station so handy to Heathrow, also close to the Hyde park for exercise, coffee in the hallways was so random and never ready in the morning? There’s a cafe downstairs I guess?

The hotel location and design is nice. We find that the staff was not proactive and looking into solutions. For example we landed straight from an overnight flight at 8 AM. We asked since 48 hours before arrival for a massage and we realized that was not possible and available upon arrival.

Mostly helpful and friendly staff . Small room. Issue with our breakfast which never arrived due to some message system breakdown .
Emailed the hotel and left message through the app but no response from the hotel..very disappointed with this…I had hoped for a better outcome as we specifically paid extra for breakfasts to be included .

Very convenient for Paddington Station, nice location and building. Good breakfast (all vegetarian). Staff helpful. Room cosy but well furnished. Only downside for me was lack of privacy in the bathroom space.

Not the worst, but not the best

Photos were misleading. Paid extra to ensure we had a desk in the room to do work and we did not. Staff was not great. One of us needed a cab early in the morning and we asked multiple times not to call our room in the morning so the other person wouldn’t wake. They scheduled the cab for thirty minutes early AND called the room to wake everyone up. We asked them to charge a different card checking in than we had used to reserve. They said no problem, but still charged the wrong card. They didn’t always take the trash when turning over the room. Really convenient location and cute hotel but set your expectations low otherwise. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but loved the food!

The staff was kind and rooms were nice. Only thing is if you are abonvoy member would be worth it to book through Marriott to get the points. You won’t get them if booked through Expedia or another travel agency. The dining, food and and drink on the property were great. The property is close to the paddington station, great for transportation to and from Heathrow, as well as throughout London. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel, but mediocre customer service

The hotel is lovely, very well designed and decorated. Was in London for a short one-night business trip. I booked and prepaid for a \"Super Roomy\" room ($311/night) which was supposed to have a desk and have lots of floor space, and was assigned a \"Cozy Double\" ($222/night), which was very small and tight, no room to really walk around the bed. When I said asked what room type I was in, they said \"Cozy Double\", then showed that I had booked a the \"Super Roomy\", yet they insisted I was in the same room category that I booked and they would not refund the (approx. $89) cost difference between the rooms. Also, the mattress and sheets were uncomfortable. So I won't stay here again.

We loved our stay, we were happily upgraded to one of their beautiful suites with a bathtub. The library area was great to do some work with and the gym was nice. Only downside is that the booking of the sauna is quite messy and staff often booking guests over each other or forgetting to turn the sauna on so it was cold.

It's probably the best of the boutiques in the area and it's a great location. Service is pretty average across the board and the check in and restaurant were particularly poor. Bed was very uncomfortable and cleaning wasn't great.

This is a popular, friendly, quietly elegant and sustainable hotel.
We were made welcome and graciously accommodated when the room wasn't quite suitable to our needs.
The small restaurant has an interesting, eclectic and healthy choice of dishes.
The young staff were warm and well-trained in a natural, conversational way.
Well-located for Paddington Station, yet quietly positioned, I would happily stay here again.

The design of all areas of the hotel is very calm and attractive in an understated manner just like advertised: it is a relief from the busy world out there. The health oriented food was great, service very friendly and responsive. The beds a touch firm to my liking and some room features looked and felt really nice, but were slightly impractical. The location between the Paddington station and Hyde Park is excellent. Overall, a great choice and better alternative to most of the other hotels in the area.

Overall, good experience.

Overall, we had a good stay at Inhabits.

Pros: Restaurant on site(very good!!) comfortable bed, easy to walk to train/bus stations. It was quiet and very modern.

Cons: There is no luggage holding room. They offer the service, but leave your bags in the lobby out in the open. They also offer laundry, but there is no laundry room on site.
They use a third party and there is a fee.

Some things to note:
They charge your card for the firsts night stay before you even check in. They also do not contact you to tell you they will be doing this.

We read the reviews about others being put on the basement level so we specifically asked for an above level room. (As did many from what we overheard)

Good experience and we got a bigger room as we were there for 5 nights.

The room was clearly only meant for one person. We were told we had to wait for the \"nice\" room and ended up in the smallest room the hotel had. We had towels for one person, one robe, etc.
The floors are terribly uneven in the passageways and aren't carpeted so all foot traffic outside the room is very loud.
The area is quiet. Do not partake in the hotel cafe; it's overpriced.

False advertising and marketing!we arrived and got a room underground- a small blocked out window that you couldn’t open and no fan in the bathroom meant it was dark and stuffy. This is not what we booked and there is nothing on their site or other booking sites that says you might get a lower ground room. This should be made very clear. We asked for another room and weren’t able to give it to us on that night but a second night and that room was much better above ground with light and a window that opens so I thank the staff for moving us.

Wasn’t great - sheets were dirty, with a sign in the room saying “we’ll change your sheets as often as you’d like”. Room was tiny, even by European standards. Only 2 outlets. Area is boring, though it’s close to Paddington Station. “Gym” was a treadmill, a bike, and some weights in a room the size of a closet.

The little room

The room was clean. The staff was kind and courteous. However, I booked a queen bed and when we got there, they said we booked a cozy room. The cozy room barely held a double bed and it was on a base 8 inches smaller than the mattress, very disappointed. I don’t know if it’s the Hotel listing on Hotels.com was in accurate Or what happened. Paid 80 extra dollars over another hotel to get a queen. That said the area had a multitude of inexpensive delicious restaurant.

I had an excellent stay at Inhabit. I was just there for one night, having landed from San Francisco and arrived early to see if i could leave my bag there until check in time, but I was pleasantly surprised that they could check me in straight away! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the whole vibe was chill, calm but luxurious. I had a small room which I knew and as I was traveling alone, it was fine. It was well designed given the space and very comfortable. It would have been too small for two people however and worth noting that there is no desk in this type of room so if you need to work, you'd have to go downstairs where there is a nice lobby & cafe with free wifi. It was in a lovely quiet area just 6 mins walk from Paddington. I would definitely stay here again.

A real little gem of a hotel, it is decorated beautifully in a very modern Danish style. Everything is very well thought out and the rooms smell amazing… Super clean, very helpful staff walkable to Kensington Gardens Hyde Park area. Queen Room vs Queen Suites

Front desk staff not very accommodating to the “Free Upgrade” that the hotel advertises. The hotels upgrades are rooms that are in high traffic areas where you will here people walking and talking in the hallways and doors slamming shut. The basement suite we stayed in was ok, but unfortunately we could hear everyone walking above us…. not well insulated. We originally booked a Queen room thinking it was the room with the tub. We were told it is the Queen “suite” that has the tub..so we were a bit disappointed about this.

Lovely clean hotel with nice decor. The rooms were a little small, we were upgraded to a queen room but it was still tiny and the bed was definitely a double. Also no coffee facilities in the room, a communal station on the hallway with filter coffee that had turned cold by 8am. Otherwise great place to stay.

The staff were generally very accommodating and understanding. Unfortunately though, I was next to corridor doors which kept banging all night long. In terms of security, the CCTV couldn’t be accessed immediately to ascertain any event and it was only the manager who could review it the next day. The eco-credentials are also not as they could potentially be. Disposable sundries weren’t all from sustainable sources, cleaning materials and the cafe was still using non-recyclable plastics. The wellness classes are limited with 1 meditation class and 2 yoga.

I loved this place. Their commitment to wellness and sustainability is truly impressive. The rooms are gorgeous and come with good space. The space was so clean and I loved the diffusers they had everywhere, that was a lovely touch. Spa doesn’t have many facilities (salt room and sauna) but you’re allowed to have it all yourself and your guests which was lovely. Our spa session was cancelled due to maintenance so we were offered a complementary breakfast instead, which I really enjoyed. Probably one of the best, more affordable hotels in the area. Thank you for hosting us!

Really friendly staff and were very helpful. Room was spacious. Loved the wood and the use of space. Like the efforts to be sustainable/eco friendly. Rather narrow steep stairway to where our room was so glad there was a lift due to carrying bags. Good choice of teas.
