Stayed 1 night for Theatre visit. Our Room although very small was clean with very comfortable beds, modern decor, Bathroom clean very smart excellent showerwith hot water.
Breakfast was good with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, plus full English, all was self serviceexcept Tea and Coffee brought to you. The road is quiet, sometime in London there is noise all night, deliveries, sirens etc but not here.
Staff helpfull, stored luggage as arrived early as
went straight out. Timed the walk to Paddington Station, 3 minutes andl am elderly! After booking read some bad reviews but we were very happy for the price we paid.

The hotel is ideally located for ready access to Paddington station and within easy walking distance to Hyde park. The hotel is good for the price other than being a little dated and tired in places.Our room was compact but clean. The breakfast was adequate but not impressive some of the cooked food was cold and there was no choice of alternative milks. However the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall all we stayed one night at this hotel which suited our needs perfectly.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how quiet my room was as although the hotel is on a busy street it is well set back behind a front parking area. Breakfast was so much better than most boutique hotels in the area. The buffet English breakfast was nice and hot plus there were plenty of pastries fruit yogurt etc. the location is great near paddington station and Hyde park. I think I’ve found a new go to place. Really nice staff at front desk and breakfast room during the week.

We were told that we had a deluxe room. I don't know what was deluxe about it. It was very small, but otherwise pretty standard. Although there was a safe in the wardrobe, laughably it was not bolted down. None of the sockets had USB for charging phones etc.

Great place to stay. Staff very friendly and room very comfortable and clean. The only bad comment will be that we had a family with a little kid in a room right next to us who woke up very early every morning and would make a lot noise. So the rooms are not soundproofed. Other than that, it was a pleasure experience.

There is a desk in the room but no chair or a stool. There is nowhere to sit on. The design of the bathroom is so poor. The space behind the shower tray is inaccessible, a waste space. It only has a standing space between the washing basin and the WC, about 40cm by 40cm. There is no worktop around the washing basin. very inconvenience.

The room was very clean. I was comfortable for the 12 nights I stayed there. Very close to Paddington Station. I felt safe. The towels are very small, the pillows were really big and uncomfortable to sleep on. The window didn’t close easily, but I managed to get it closed by standing on the chair. Other than that, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I took a \"deluxe single room\" in December (outside temperature was low 40sF. TINY room, poorly laid out. No nightstand, no room to use the luggage rack provided, closet door hung to open the wrong way so nearly impossible to use. The \"twin bed\" was the narrowest, shortest twin I've every seen--feet hung over the end, (I am 5'5\" tall) and the comforter was so tiny and thin that if you laid on your side, it left gaps. Room was in the basement and the hallways and room were freezing. It took HOURS for the tiny room to heat. It was clean, good soap/shampoo products. They could really step up their game with some small improvements if you can tolerate the cell-like size of the rooms. Suggest that you stay at the Athena instead--better beds/bedding, better layout, better breakfasts.

Room was clean, all items needed were there such as hair dryer, tea/coffee facilities but it’s the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. We had to lean back or forward to walk around the bottom of the bed as there was only a small amount of room to squeeze past the TV on the wall at the bottom of the bed. Curtains were quite dated but they blocked the sun out so managed a lie in on both mornings.

Windows were open unable to close after a struggle and help from receptionist and maintenance guy it was eventually closed , heating system wasn’t working despite of help the receptionist promised will get it fixed we can go for dinner when arrived at 1030 PM there were 2 guys no clue asking me did you check the room if heating not working he can provide a portable heater eventually Mr Receptionist came with me and with some effort manage to turn on heating in toilet and room but there was no appologies or understanding of the problem there view was windows closed and heating now working after multiple attempts and promises and request at 2230 when asked can I speak with manager he said she is not a available can write an e mail what a quality of room and service and so called 4 star where freezing weather windows can’t be closed and no heating for bathroom and room
Even we asked to contact manager on Monday she was not Available
Ask to call her they don’t have her phone
Left a message to call back she didn’t bother

The good: the staff were incredible. Antonio at the front desk especially was wonderful and tried to be as helpful as possible.
The bad: a rat appeared in my room from somewhere near the window and radiator so there must have been a hole. When I came running out they told me “it’s gone now so you’re fine”. Not sure how that’s a solution.
I asked to be moved to another room or one of their sister hotels, unfortunately no space. But considering I booked this through Expedia, they should have helped me. They were rude, demeaning and very difficult to get support from. Although in the end I did get support, I’ll say Expedia was less than ideal about this situation. The hotel staff, again, were great. Except for one grumpy night shift guy who claimed I was making it up for a room upgrade. But I had just received an upgrade because my first room had flies coming into it from the sink. So why would I “allege” there was a rat in my nice upgraded room? Makes no sense.

Disappointed with my stay here. Here to work for a few days. Stayed in a single room that was tiny in the basement with no natural light. Tv and phone didn’t work initially. Phone got fixed. Maintenance couldn’t fix tv. Elevator very slow and room was not ready at check in time until an hour later. Would definitely NOT stay here again on my next trip to London.

I rarely leave reviews but feel compelled to warn others about Park Grand Hyde Park. We booked a room with two double beds for our family of four, but on arrival were given only three beds. Reception was unhelpful, claiming no other rooms were available. After much chasing, we were finally offered an extra bed, which took ages to arrive—by then our children were already asleep together. The first mattress brought was wet and had to be replaced, with staff clearly unhappy about it. The manager twice promised a 20% refund for our trouble.
On checkout, we were told the refund would be processed via hotels.com, but after returning home and contacting them, we were refused because we didn’t have the staff member’s name. Both the hotel and hotels.com have since refused to honor the refund, and the hotel has been impossible to contact.
The hotel itself is tired and in poor repair—ripped wallpaper, a wardrobe door just propped against the frame which is a complete hazard in a family room, and I even discovered mouldy mattresses under the sheets in our room which I unfortunately only discovered on our last day. The mezzanine floor was uneven and unsafe. I am extremely disappointed in hotels.com for not helping us and for advertising this as a four-star hotel when it is clearly not. Do not book this hotel. We paid a lot of money to stay here and could not have been more disappointed in our stay.

I booked a single room (M2) for single occupancy and paid £115 for one night. The room was very small indeed (upstairs, no lift access) and extremely noisy (flowing water noise from air con’ or something all night until it suddenly went quiet just after 6am). Temperature in the room was too warm and difficult to regulate with the a/c fan in the room. (Staff clearly aware, as they had left the window open when I arrived). The phone in the room was not functional. Maintenance staff said they would replace it, but they didn’t. (I had to call reception using my mobile phone). Bathroom tiny and drains unpleasant smelling. Shower cubicle tiny and shower not constant in terms of water pressure or temperature. (I had to cajole it into action and had no confidence in it).

The hotel was tucked away from the busy roads which was nice. The receptionist who booked us in was lovely. The problem was the bright lighting which came through under the door and the room was very bright all night long so we could hardly have a good sleep. We could also hear the noises from the corridor. We tried the first and the second day to make tea or coffee and the milk was expired and lumpy. We were surprised by that. The bath towels were very small and the bathroom door will not close properly.

Everyone is so nice and helpful, breakfast is great and it's near a major transportation hub as well as easy walking distance to attractions. There are a ton of close restaurants too. Definitely a great place!

Lovely hotel very close to Paddington station.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. We had single rooms which are small but had very comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The full English breakfast was very good value with a great choice.
All the staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area very close to Paddington station.
We would certainly book again if visiting London.

Single room the size of a broom cupboard, so that if I opened my bag on the floor I couldn't open the cupboard door. At least I could reach for my water bottle in the night from my bag without having to get out of bed! Hotel lacks any character or atmosphere. Very basic; like staying in a hostel.

Property could do with updating and better organisation. Rooms were great designs with much potential, but looks tired with dust everywhere and cupboard doors missing and generally a bit unloved.

Check-in was chaotic and staff a little indifferent. However the hotel was ok, just could and should be a lot better. Especially for the prices they are asking for. Location is good and for the right price I would stay again.

After staying in hostels for 2 weeks walking into this place was such a pleasure specially with my room with such cold AC. Anyway, the property is nice. The room was great. The shower might be a little tiny, but that’s such a nitpick Also, my flight got delayed by a day. I went to the front desk to see if I could get my room for another day, but they said I would have to rebook on Expedia to get another night there, but the woman at front deck got me into another room 30 minutes later once the confirmation came through on their end instead of waiting a couple hours for check in. Much love to her for that! The walk of Paddington is literally around the corner so getting off or on Elizabeth line or Heathrow express is a breeze. Would definitely stay here if I’m in London again

Nice hotel within walking distance to Paddington Train / Subway station. The city recently upgraded the side street to Paddington St., so it has very good street lights and new / updated sidewalks. Safe and easy to walk even later in the evenings. Hotel staff are very helpful and professional. I like to have ice with my drinks, and they were very nice to get me a cup of ice almost every evening. The room is small - but bedding and room are very clean and well maintained.

Close to Paddington station, room was clean and they provided some snacks , water and kettle for instant coffee or tea. Disappointed no cnn on tv. Lead lady in breakfast area was rude and disrespectful. On the other hand , a gentleman named Adi was polite , helpful and courteous. Front desk staff were great too! Was odd they didn’t have wash cloths but they brought some when I asked. Layout is a bit awkward with multiple doors and changes in elevation , like 5 steps on a corner going up. Breakfast was ok but no turkey or chicken sausage, was enough but not anything fancy or anything worth bragging about. Thought a bit pricey on the value for it. Nonetheless it was ok for a quick last minute trip from Paris to London.

The Park Grand Hyde Park was good enough for one night to catch the early train back to Heathrow. Although the staff was kind and helpful, I would probably not stay there again, especially if I had longer to stay. The room was very small. It was clean enough but maybe not deeply cleaned. When I got there the window was open and had no latch to lock it. It’s a shame these things weren’t up to par because it was really conveniently located to Paddington Station, and with some maintenance and cleaning could be much better.

The hotel is a resident converted into a hotel, challenging to go up steps and narrow hallways to get to your room. The air conditioner thermostat was broken and the staff would not fix it. Rooms above us transmit every sound, and sleeping is tough when the neighbors are still awake. The front entrance parking lot is dirty with cigarette butt and garbage.
