Great location round the corner from Paddington and two mins walk from Hyde park, excellent rooms and decor - stayed in a one bed apartment. Communal areas very nice too. Super clean and well kitted out. Whole access, check in and out was via access code / text/whatsapp which worked seamlessly, and there was someone on the desk 24/7 if we needed , which we didn’t. Rooms were very warm, but was cold weather and could easily cool with open windows. Will definitely use again when travelling with family.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and well equipped. It was lovely to walk in and immediately had a cup of tea. Shower was great. Beds were comfortable. The absolute best was the location… very nicely located.
I did t live that my whole party of three, including my son had to provide passports and a slew of information but other than that it was perfect. Virginia (Ginny) was excellent.

Really great location getting the one bedroom apartment was spacious, it’s not glamorous but it’s very comfortable. I’m more than happy to give five stars here because the staff were amazing. It was a small bed but it was only me so it wasn’t a problem. The lounge was comfortable. There was coffee and tea making provided and it is a really accessible location and very close to the railway station with great restaurants. Highly recommend you for your next day in London here.

The studio was perfect for us as it had everything we needed. The interior of the building needs rénovations, ie hallway carpet and lobby furniture. Garbage bin in front of building need to be removed. Staff was very helpful.The location was very good. Overall it was a good stay.

The apartment was lovely and very convenient to Hyde park and Paddington station.

I had issues with communications. Firstly, I booked through Expedia well in advance, but a few weeks ahead was told they were downgrading me. Now I have to resolve the credit issued with Expedia.

There was also a problem with their systems being hacked. I think I was duped into sending money to an unknown source. I will try to resolve when I am home.

Also when I tried to call/email on-site, they did not answer. I think their claim to 24/7 reception is not accurate. The check-in instructions were received day of.

Not sure why our 2 rooms were switched in our reservation so that the larger party got the smaller room when we had indicated needing the pull out sofa. The front desk staff did not seem very experienced or helpful.

This was a great find in the Paddington area. We chose it because it's close to the station and we had people with us who needed to get to Heathrow. We've stayed in the area many times for that very reason, and this is the nicest hotel we've stayed in. We wanted to have a place we could hang out in the later evening (as we had a 3 year old with us) and these rooms provided that. Plenty of space and decent amenities. We were very pleased, thank you.

The best thing about this property is its location. Proximity to Paddington station, Hyde park etc. The studio apartment we stayed was very small, two people can barely manage inside, no place to store luggage. There was one drawer unit in the apartment that we couldn’t even use as it was dirty inside. Bathroom is the worst part- there’s no proper sink, just a hand washing basin (tiny sink) so you can’t wash your face. Everyday I kept thinking why on earth would anyone put such a small useless sink in the bathroom? People working in the hotel are super nice though, everyone was kind and friendly. Balcony door wasn’t closing ( it’s a new door, but not installed properly).Kitchen has everything you need to make breakfast, full size fridge and even a dishwasher machine ( seriously, who needs it ? There are 2 plates and two coffee cups to wash! It looked dirty and moldy, as nobody uses it regularly. Why spend money on installing a dishwasher, but saving money on the proper sink in the bathroom …), there is a washing machine ( no dryer machine, but a dryer rack - well good luck getting laundry dry with the humidity). Overall I found this place pretty acceptable for the price, except I kept questioning the lack of common sense of whoever was in charge of recently renovating this place.

We booked this property for two major reasons – the location, and the sleeping accommodations. It absolutely delivered. The location just around the corner from Paddington Station was perfect for reaching nearly every slight-seeing destination in a reasonable time; even our Hop-On Hop-Off bus stopped nearby. We had walking-distance access to groceries and several restaurants, some open even after midnight.
The room was spacious, with two levels, two WCs, two TVs, two fans, a kitchen with a fridge and a microwave oven that we used a lot. The two beds (one an extended couch) were very comfortable.
The check in and out process via the smartphone, access codes for opening the front and room doors, and WhatsApp communication made our stay frictionless.
The only possible negatives would be the spiral staircase leading to the second level which could cause problems for elderly guests, and the lack of air conditioning only partially offset by the provided fans.

We don’t often make a fuss about our hotel stays, even when they don’t fully meet expectations. But what we experienced during our 4 days in the Native Hyde Park was just not acceptable. There are so many things that were not handled properly, despite the front desk people doing their best to hold things together.

It started with the room not being ready for check in, the wifi was out for ~ 24 hours on arrival, workers are streaming in and out of the property as construction is underway on the hotel and various rooms (starting as early as 7:30am on our last day, you can hear the hammering and sawing from the room). We learned that our room was recently remodeled and it was clearly not ready for guests. There was construction dust throughout the place, no trash cans in any of the rooms or bathrooms, we had to request essentials like paper towels, plates/cutlery, as well as shampoo/soap. Honestly, we just got tired of asking for things that should have already been in the room. Additionally, the toilet upstairs doesn’t flush, it just runs continually. We had maintenance come by asking to do some appliance testing to ensure they were safe to use… which is concerning, given that we’d been using them for 3 days.

Bottom line is that it’s just not acceptable for a hotel to be balancing renovations with hosting guests without providing notice to people who booked these rooms. The location of the hotel was very convenient, but little beyond that was a positive experience.

Pro: Very close to the Paddington station; the 1bedroom is very spacious and does have two beds (1 Queen, 1 pull out couch sofa)

Con: no air conditioning, extremely hot and stuffy if the outside temperature exceeds 70F/20C. One fifth of the units are in the basement level, so we only had limited sunlight from the small courtyard.
WiFi also was out for a good 12 hours for one night, so we had very limited cell service (from the basement floor) and no WiFi.
Would not stay again here - can probably find similar, much renovated apart-hotels for same price / a bit more.

The one-bedroom apartment looked nothing like the pictures. It was dark, stained carpet, and the couch was stained and sagging so much I would not sit on it. There were burnt-out light bulbs, and a constant clicking sound came from one of the vents. The shower head was in a terrible position and leaked. There was no handheld, and if you chose to take a bath, the showerhead would drip on you. There were little to no storage areas in the bathroom. There wasn't even a hook. There was only one outlet, and it was only for shavers. Hello, we need to plug in hair dryers and curling irons. I was very uncomfortable and felt the room was not worth the 233-pound price. I am very disappointed. I absolutely will not stay there again, nor would I recommend you stay there.

Good: comfortable bed, plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, towel warmer in shower, clean fluffy towels, iron/steamer/clothes drying rack, fast wifi, friendly staff.

Not great: some of the carpet and cabinetry is dated/slightly chipped or stained, and needing replacement. The washing machine has a mind of its own - use with caution. The furniture in living room seems outdated/not particularly inviting. The pillows on the bed are VERY overstuffed - not great for sleeping.

We loved our Premium Studio room! Great amenities: full kitchen, a washing machine, large windows and high ceiling; to name a few. The location could not have been more perfect; close to so much, and a 5 minute walk to the tube! This property (Native Hyde Park) definitely blends in and truly gives the feeling of being a local, however, upon first arrival, a little hard to find with only a little sign, by a door, to identify this property. Also, we had twice a staff member enter our room without invitation or announcement. First time was found that maintenance came in to cleaning gutters and cleaning off the balcony, but did not follow their own protocols. After that all staff (cleaning crew, included) were instructed not to enter our room for the remainder of our stay, but even with the sign on our door, not to enter, when we got back to room on one of our last days; a cleaning staff member had been in our room. Reception was apologetic, and said that management would be notified, but to our knowledge nothing came of either of this offenses.

Great 1 bedroom set up with small kitchenette. Unfortunately the dishwasher didn't work. There were lights and fan out in the bathroom making use of mirrors difficult.
The shower/bath handle didn't work so could only have a shower.
Place was very clean. Unfortunate we got a place with so many items not functioning.

We loved staying at the Native because the vibe was so relaxed and we felt like we were at home. The kitchen was immaculate and had everything we needed. The bathroom was also spotless and had great smelling personal care products. The staff was kind, helpful, and so great about answering questions. Aside from that, the location between Paddington Station and Hyde Park was perfect. Best coffee ever right around the corner, too! We will be staying here everytime we come to London.

This was my third time staying at Native Hyde Park, but first since 2020 and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The apartments are well set up and the location is great, very convenient to Hyde Park and several Underground stations and bus lines. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hi - we were disappointed looking at the hotel room, it looked spacious and different in pictures. Our hotel felt claustrophobic, congested with no A/C and little windows without mesh. No fan in the bathroom made things uncomfortable for the family usage. And no cleaning service for 5 days we stayed was not made clear in the hotel description . Kitchen amenities, laundry was useful. Location was great and convenient to station. But otherwise rooms felt like a dungeon. Wouldn’t recommend to friends

We’ve had three stays over two weeks - visiting other England cities for meetings between stays. Luggage storage and welcome back has been appreciated. We’re back for one more stay this trip in two weeks. 😊

Room was not was expected for a “premium one bedroom” and certainly not worth the price paid. Located in the basement with window that does not lock. Poor airflow. Washer/dryer did not work. Shower dirty and extremely unsafe as ‘glass partition’ swings freely and there are no handles to stabilize oneself for getting in or out of the shower. Staff was very friendly but unable to accommodate any changes to booking. Also zero management on site or available over a normal weekend. We had another booking for later in our trip with another London property but cancelled it and went somewhere else. Will not return to this property again and will certainly not trust this brand as the follow thru on service and safety went without response. Avoid Native brand and book elsewhere.

Has everything you need for a short or long-term stay, and very close to Paddington Station for getting around London and quickly to/from Heathrow as well. Sometimes the outside is noisy outside, water drains relatively slowly. I don’t understand why the only shower head is a rainfall one, rather than a handheld one. For some reason, there were multiple false alarms.

Good central location to Paddington. Staff lovely. Some maintenance issues fan not working, shower rose partially blocked and TV remote not switching TV on . None on these issues affected our enjoyment of our trip

We were really disappointed with our stay at Native, Hyde Park. On two days of our three day stay, there was no water in the building each morning. Staff were very unhelpful, despite the fact we were left without showering and toilet facilities.
We stayed in a 'superior studio' which had a well equipped kitchen, and an iron and ironing board. That is the only positive! The sofa and table were in very poor condition, and the carpet didn't look to have been hoovered very well; in fact we found some rubbish on the floor under the sofa which hadn't been cleaned up from the previous guests ! Bed was awful, as were the 'pillows', the secure entry system to access the building doesn't work, so anyone can wander in and out at any time of the day.
Definitely wouldn't stay again, be warned, do not expect that the photo's on the website of the room will be what you get!

Having stayed at Native in Glasgow this was disappointing. The room was cramped and not very clean. There was no AC on an 82f day. Overbath shower with no handrail or antslip mat. The kitchen was well equipped but no tea bag’s other than mint. The pillows on the bed were awful, no substance and the duvet was way too heavy even for a UK summer.
Staff very friendly, location great and very quiet but won’t return.

Not worth it

The call the day before was helpful, however, I paid more than some big brand hotels and had a smaller room and smaller bed in a slightly shabby hotel. Not great - I will stick to the big-name brand hotels next time. London or not - this room was not worth what I paid for it.

Helt fint, booker gerne igen.

Det var så fint med to store værelser og en fin lille stue/køkken med alt det nødvendige. Ovn, mikrobølgeovn, køleskab, opvaskemaskine og vaskemaskine.
Opholdsrummet er småt, men skal man kun lige spise og spille spil, kan det sagtens gå.
