Dreadful. Simply dreadful. Dirty bedding, bed falling to pieces, awful mattress, radiator loose on one side, unable to plug into some sockets, AC there but not working, no lamps or any other form of lighting other than all on or all off. Slow WiFi, noisy bathroom fan, shower door doesn't close.

Shabby, very tired and not very clean.

Good location close to tube station and local shops. You have to pick up your access/room keycard from the hotel reception across the road.

The reception was lovely so I had high expectations but unfortunately the apartment was very poor.

(1) the entrance doorway, stairs and landing were very dirty and carpets stained everywhere.
(2) There was a smell of smoke in the corridor outside my room - not the owner's fault, but they should enforce no smoking in apartment rooms
(3) The u-bend at the bottom of the toilet bowl in my bathroom was filthy
(4) The fridge door seal area was unclean
(5) A poor TV signal in my room made watching TV impossible, and wires were dangling untidily below the set
(6) The iron's water filling hole cover was missing so water spilled over my shirt when ironing
(7) The ironing board cover was dirty and put a brown stain on my clean shirt
(8) The ironing board could not be put down after I put it up as the lever was faulty
(9) The clock on the mirror in the bathroom had the wrong time and there was no way to change it.
(10) The shower thermostatic control unit was damaged such that the water temperature dial didn't stop at a safe temperature (I almost scolded myself).

It's disappointing as my first impression when checking into reception was good. After my stay the hotel said they plan a refurbishment of the carpets and rooms in the apartment block, but for the price I paid it was poor value for money, very tatty and not clean enough.

We must say overall we were a litter disappointed with our stay here . Kitchen had very few utensils for cooking . Also having to remind them to clean when they should have a schedule seems odd .also hot shower is a treat as it rins hot and cold constantly

The place isn't what it looks at the pictures, its very dirty, small, everything is broken. I had to sleep on the floor because the bed is broken, and i have a horrible backache that i can't enjoy anything. The reception is very nice and very helpful when i called, but nothing they can do.
I feel so unhappy because i couldn't enjoy my week here.
I just waisted my money and time here. I just came to hurt my back.
I blame myself for not reading the reviews before i booked before all the reviews are terrible.

Great location. Apartment needs some TLC

The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. But it is in need of a bit of TLC both in terms of cleanliness and things that need repairing or replacing.
Apartment in a great location, with plenty of places to eat and drink. Also close to plenty of attractions and good transport links

Terrible quality accommodatiom.
Flies everywhere, dirty, poor quality and condition flooring that needed to be replaced, and a steep staircase to get to the room on the fourth floor without a lift. Poor quality bed, matttess and bedding. No air conditioning.
Not clear at the time of booking that a largr deposit is to be taken when you check in - they hold this for up to a week after your check out as well, which isn’t ideal.

Reception is located 200 m. from the rooms building, had to go onward and back to reception. Although is was a 2 room apartment, bed was described as \"double\" but was far from that, maybe a bed and a half, very non comfortable for 2 person. Bathroom+shower was like a prison room, VERY tiny, shower hardly contain one person and I am thin.. Overall, poor room, very basic, nothing to tell home about. would not come back.

The room is tiny wrt the pictures - but, I guess its yhe price of a central londonf stay. It is perfect if youre travelling light, i had two suitcases, so, prwtty much had to open one at a time to get things out. The closet in the room is a half depth afterthought, even shirts only go at an angle. The fridge, microwave, electric kettle abd toaster are good. the location is 3 minutes walk from Bayswater, and 5 mins from the Queensway tubestations.

There are rooms in the basement، where I dont believe there is elevator access, so some stairs would be involved. I was assigned one in the basement, but I explained I have a bad knee and would be doffoucult to manage with my luggage, was given a room on the 3rd floor then, still you ned to climb about 5 steps after getting off thr elevator.

All in all, not a bad stay, just the room size, is quite small. Nearby shopping incmudes Tesco, sainsbury and M&S Metro/expres stores. KFC and Taza Shawarma (both halal) nearby - Taza was barely average)

The location is great, nice area and two minutes walk from a tube station and just around the corner from a street full of shops and restaurants.

However the rooms are so small, don’t be fooled by the word suite when looking at this property. You can’t turn in the bathroom, the decor is very dated. It’s fine to but your head down and be in a nice location, just the pictures are outdated

Great area to stay, the place around is safe. Metro is very close by. The rooms are small some connector did not work. And you might have to carry your bags via tiny small stairs
Which can be complícated. But area is great. Bad thing is the 200 ponds deposit is too much. They bothered much with an issue at another room on some leaking but it was not from our room.

I liked the neighborhood. The metro is right around the corner, also busses. There's also a supermarket near the train station for water, snacks etc. Plenty of dining options and a great park nearby. The building interior could use some updating. My room wasn't the cleanest. Lots of dust. My asthma started to act up within minutes. Spoke to the front desk, they had somebody clean the room that same evening. I reached down to get something and noticed under the bed was full of dust, so the rooms are not being cleaned thoroughly. Temps had been a little chilly. I asked for the heat to be turned on. Maintenence was sent right away. Couldn't get it to work. Back up was called. 3 guys were working on the radiator and the heating unit located in a locked closet in the room. Still no luck. They were helpful in providing a space heater for me to use. For applying makeup, I wished the light up feature in the mirror worked. Around the base of the kitchen area was rotting away and floors show sign of damage. Water stains on the ceiling. Nice property with great potential, but could use some tlc. The toiletries are minimal and the tiny rounds of soap are useless, so bring ur own. Electric water kettle, instant coffee and sugar provided. If u use artificial sweetener or creamer or powdered milk packets u will need to bring that. They don't have. They will direct u to the nearest supermarket. In summary, location is great, front desk is friendly and responsive, the property needs work.

Lovely position in London and lovely building but spoilt by lack of care for the room. Damaged headboard, tatty curtains, peeling wallpaper and lack of coffee/tea and no milk at all. Very poor. View was of scaffolding and rubbish out the back.

Not the greatest place to stay

The bed was fine. My view out of my basement window was of the back courtyard which was full of garbage, old furniture, and scaffolding. The Air conditioner wasn't working. No batteries in the TV remote, and no way for the TV to turn it on. The towel warmer in the bathroom was always on, making it hot in the bathroom and the whole room. I couldn't open the backdoor because of all the junk and such out there. The phone in the room also didn't work. At least there was wi fi that worked. No one was available to come check out any of the issues in the room.

Not what we expected.

Check in is unusual as it’s in a hotel across the road from these suites. Check in was quick, but remember they need a £200 security deposit. Remember to take photos of your room when you get in, just in case they try to keep any of your security deposit. Luckily we got ours back quickly. Anyway, keycards didn’t work on our room door when we got there, so had to trek back across the road to get replacements, these didn’t work either, so rang the number on the bit of paper they gave me at check in. They sent someone over with a handful of key cards and eventually 2 of them worked. For the amount we paid for this room we expected a higher quality property. It didn’t live up to the description, and was also in a poor state of decor. Laminate floor in bad condition from an obvious previous leak from the bathroom, but just left in a bad state. One of the chairs was dangerous as screws were missing, luckily the legs only fell off when we moved it and not while someone was sat on it. Decor very dated and in need of a serious overhaul. Cracked window, and only single glazed sash windows, so you could hear quite a lot of noise from outside. Definitely not worth the money we paid. The location of this property is good though with shops, takeaways, restaurants and 2 underground stations all within 5-10 minutes walk. Wouldn’t stay here again, will go back to Premier Inn and get a better quality room for similar money.

Convenient location with good tube links. Accommodation was basic and tired, in need of some repairs and internal redecoration. The apartment was spacious for the price and the hotel reception where check in happened was pleasant and well staffed. Unfortunately the bed linen was not clean and I had to raise this and have it replaced. As this is a basic requirement from my perspective I would not stay again.

Uh, not so great. The images of the rooms paint a picture of clean lines and newness, but the reality is less than. For beginners, the entryway tile was cracked and hallway carpets were heavily soiled. Our room was on an upper floor (I believe the 4th), but the elevator only went up three floors. Our room was a decent size, but it was obviously well-used. The bed was small with a cracked glass table and chairs. None of the usb ports worked for charging our phones, and only one light station worked (the one that turned on all the lights in the room). The bathroom was tiny and crowded. There is a kitchen with just about everything you need to prepare a meal (pots, pans, utensils, etc), but this did not make up for the room's shortcomings.

The lobby is amazing, but when you get to the room... well it looks like the picture with ten years of abuse. The amount of space is nice, the patio is nice, location nice. Curtain was ripped, burns in the couch, no toilet paper holder, one pot and one tiny frying pan, so not much if you wanna cook. When ever someone flushed a toilet in the building the bathroom would smell of light sewage. Vent that went no where, no fire alarm, and really cant buy the correct size toilet seat?? But i mean, couldnt beat the price and when we did write about something the response was fast. I wouldnt stay again, but it was fine for the 4 days we were there.

They take your CREDIT CARD and digit it into a computer, this is VERY UNSAFE!!!! A simple virus could get all the customers details...

Just to save them from paying a little more to have a regular terminal!!!

The entire hotel is cheap, all the refurbishments were badly done and you can smell the attitude of \"profit\" everywhere.

Stayed just for one night so I didn't bother to complain to change the room as when I arrived I was very tired.
The room was on a building under full refurbishing so a lot of construction noise during the day.

The room that I was in has already been refurbished but in a very, very poor way with a lot of issues.
1. From crooked floor that when you step it pinches your feet
2. Water damage and ripped wall paper
3. door to the back patio would not lock and could be opened from the outside
4. No sockets next to the bed, so no charging devices there...
5. Bathroom tower rail was boiling hot and no valve to adjust temperature
6. Non existing caulking on some tiles and mold on the shower
7. Shower was very narrow what would make you always touching the tap when bathing making the water boiling hot...
8. Ceiling lights with different colors...

Fab location and staff, apartment bit lacking

You have to check in at a hotel down the road, which is easy to find on google maps, the staff on reception were really friendly , they let us keep our luggage there until our room was ready! Apartment was nice, small but big enough for needs, It could just do with some maintaining in some areas though, but for the price we paid in this area i suppose this is to be expected!!! Could also do with some extras as it is really sparse with supplies, such as no hand towels, tea towel, there are basically 2 of everything. The apartment was red hot so we turned heating off , but radiators still came on Shower was really nice once we'd worked out how to turn the temp down, but a bit of a concern was the shower tray, i think it needs looking at, as it feels to bow in the middle and we daren't stand on it as it felt like it was going to break. I would stay again for the area , which is such a nice area, just across from Kensington gardens at one end of street and shops and bars at the other, much quieter than staying closer to the city, really good transport link as well.. All in all happy with it , id give Location 5 out 5 apartment 2.5 out 5 , staff 5 out 5 !!!

Best thing about the property is the location. 3 minute walk to Bayswater station and 8 minutes to queensway station, easy access to several tube lines. 10 minutes and you are in Kensington Gardens. Property is located in a quieter road. Next street has many shops and restaurants.
I had apartment 9c on top floor. Condition was disappointing with pealing wallpaper and worn out laminate flooring. Ok for short stay

Apartment was in great location very near two tube stations. It was clean and the small kitchen unit was well equipped for basics. Sound proofing isn’t great. You wouldn’t want to have noisy neighbours. Mattress on bed could be a bit better also. It was old and springy. Overall though by London standards this is good value, especially if there are two or three staying.. I’ve stayed in some absolute slums in London for higher prices than I paid here. Would recommend and would stay again.

Bayswater is an excellent area for access to tube, for groceries and eateries and to tourist attractions in London. Room was VERY small. While the website states air conditioning the units have been disconnected in most rooms. We stayed for a week and the only time the room was serviced was once when we specifically requested this.

The would never go back

An awful experience! I would never go back. The site stated the rooms had AC . First we were told , it was a third party site and they were not responsible for what it said. Then we were told they did have AC’s in some rooms, but they didn’t work and they tried to convince me that was sufficient. They made no sense.
I asked for a refund so I could find other accommodations. I had just paid 20 minutes before. I waited 45 mins for the manager who left without talking to me. I was told I needed to email them. They would not refund me. They them showed me 3 other room options with ac’s that didn’t work either.
The second night they then put us in a studio with a barely working ac that went down 2 degrees after 24 hrs. The bed was broken, the hall had dirty stained carpets, wallpaper peeling off the walls, and towels that smelled of mildew.

The site images make the rooms much larger then they actually are. The rooms are very worn down. The shower door literally fell off into the shower.

They also refused to reund me the difference for a studio instead of a one bedroom which I had booked. They said the studio was actually bigger than the one bedroom, which was complete BS. They were pleasant at the front desk but lied to me over and over saying they would take care of us or refund me. In the end all they did was give me a fan and waste my time .

The property looks good on the outside but its tired on the inside. Our room smelt of cigarette smoke and the aircon was off in the whole building when it was 30 degree heat, no fan was available either.
Reception were helpful and moved us to another room to clean.

The property was close to everything on Queensway. Restaurants, tube stop, buses, groceries, and shops. It was close to Hyde Park and Kensington Park.

The Imperial Court Suite flat I had was not the flat in the picture I thought I was getting. I was by myself and it was small, my daughter and son-in-law had another flat and it was really small not big enough for two. I know you have different pictures of different flats but my suggestion is if you show a picture and send it with the confirmation that is the flat that should have been given. Make sure you also make know that there is a separate building for check in then where you will be staying.

A terrible property. Damages through two apartments. Supposed to be ‘Superior’ rooms and both sub-standard. Gum stuck to the edge of the table, floor damaged, side surfaces badly chipped and damaged. Air conditioning switched off throughout the building, ‘because it’s not hot in London yet’. No noticeable soundproofing, so footsteps, water systems and general noise.

The advertisement of the property is not reflecting the reality. Old, damaged furniture, totally unconfortable and noisy bed, no sofa or other furniture. Just a bed, a table and 2 plastic chairs... total area of the room no more than 5-6 square meters... bathroom very small and totally uncomfortable. No lift available for the floor i was placed. have to carry my luggage through straits no more than 50 cm wide...

We had a lovely time in London and the location of this property was great. However, the overall property is very \"tired\" and needs a bit of updating. The bed is a double so my wife and daughter shared the room and I slept on the couch. The room was surprisingly small - the photos are extremely deceiving. Glad we only needed it as a home base because hanging out in the room for too long would have been too much. Nice to have a kitchen and place to come back to but we felt on top of one another. Bathroom was nice and clean but the size of a phone booth.

The apartments are located in a nice area with plenty to offer. The apartments were clean. My only complaint is that the walls are extremely thin. I was there on vacation and shouldn’t have had to whisper to my other guests. After another apartment complained about noise coming in a general direction, an employee from the hotel stayed outside our hallway for a couple hours late in the night which I found odd.

I would definitely stay here again. Staff was excellent and professional, location was perfect for what I needed. The first room we had was 'worn' but not unclean. The other two rooms (moved twice due to a ceiling water leak) were newly renovated and much cleaner looking. The washer and dryer were reasonably priced and just down the street. Location walkable to two tube stations (bonus points for that) and many grocery stores and restaurants. We had to purchase several items to make our stay reasonable. We purchased paper towels, facial tissue, a spatula for the frying pan and a few hand towels. We were each given 1 bath towel each. No kitchen tea towels, bathroom hand towels or face cloths were provided, even when we asked. We were told that these units are considered 'efficiencies'. We did not hear outside noises but the elevator was noisy. Luckily we had adjustable AC.

It is ok for what you pay since it appears to be cheaper than any other property in the area. Beware that it is very noisy at night as it is an area populated by youngsters and students - also the reception area is very shabby and the check-in and check-out is very slow … the staff attitude is a bit lazy and You almost feel like they are doing you a favour to check you in and out

I won't stay again

We booked a Superior Apartment but it was ridiculously small, lower ground floor. I really don't think the size of room was spacious enough for 4 people. Cheap curtains didn't work as passerby could watch inside.

It looks nice on their pics but reality is that most of their stuff is cheap, which I really don't mind except a bed.

A bed should be comfortable and sturdy but their double bed was too small, seem to be a small UK double, very low & squeaky.

I never slept at this low postion double bed, which is about 25 cm high from ground & possibly suitable for kids only.

They need to change their bed immediately

Looked clean on the surface but not on close inspection.

I spilled water on the floor and when I wiped the floor
the toilet roll was black.

Didn't take my socks of the rest of the visit.

Apartment was ok, but communication was rubbish! I was given room 6A but it was also given to someone else! I left few things luckily nothing was stolen, I tried to go my room and eventually someone else on the bed!! So I was upgraded to the top floor, I don’t think I will book this place again!

2 min walk to Hyde Park. Very nice people at the reception desk. However, their wifi was horrible couldn’t even check my emails. Overall it was ok.

Dirty, Dangerous & Disappointing

This is not 4 star accommodation and it is not ‘good value for money’. The room was nothing like the pictures for the room and is in need of urgent repair.

Some things that went wrong:
- Shower unit fell on me while turning it on (was loose). Note: Shower will not accommodate anyone 6ft tall
- LED light in ceiling above bed fell out of socket onto my girlfriend
- The room stunk of smoke
- The walls are awfully thin.. (ceiling, floor and adjacent rooms)
- When issues reported to reception, the response was a simple: ‘ok’

Beyond the above:
- Bed: Uncomfortable, felt every spring
- Balcony: Door/lock/hinges broken
- AC: Weak
- Kitchen units: Look like they’ve been chewed up by teething puppies
- Table: Dusty & dirty
- Ironing board: Unfeasibly small
- Microwave: all dials/buttons without markings (worn off) - guessing game
- Cutlery: From the 60s
- Pillows: 1 each
- Sink: Clogged up

For balance, good things:
- Location
- Check in process was smooth
- TV is good
- Iron didn’t stain clothing

Very disappointing. Star rating must be reviewed - very suspicious.

This property was great for a long stay in London. I stayed here for close to a month and loved it. The area is perfect it’s just walking distance from bayswater station. Also the room itself was great! Incredibly clean, perfect size and all you need; a/c, kitchen, tv, strong wifi etc.
Most importantly, the staff are amazingly kind and helpful people. When I had any issues, reception assisted me so wonderfully. I got a bit ill at one point and the reception was so kind enough to send someone to bring my packages & things to my door. They went above and beyond to make sure I was accommodated and I’m so grateful. I’ve never received such good service before. The next time I travel back to London, I will definitely be staying at the Imperial Court Suites again!

Doesn’t look nothing like the photos! Stayed for 1 night and moved to another hotel it felt so dirty and unclean and there was stains on the wall! Do not recommend honestly stayed cause I thought I found a cheap hotel but I wished I just booked an normal one cause I ended up spending more money on another hotel! Receptionist girl is so rude.

Thid property was very 'worn'. It had a broken mirror damaged flooring in several places, a broken chair and the walls needed re-painting as there were numerous marks throughout.

The room was big which was great but the headboard area was really greasy. The lock on the door was badly fitting. It was really noisy as the room I had was by the road. I got woken up lots of times by people coming in at odd times.

What we liked: Location was amazing, the size and comfort of the bed was alright for two people, Check in and check out were ok time-wise

What we disliked: Toilet wasn’t flushed when I checked in the room, there were hairs in the shower, stains from food in the bed tables, curtains were full of dust as if they weren’t washed for years... General cleanliness was bad, even during Covid-19

Very very basic. Old building no control on noise between guests. No visible signs of any extra cleaning measures because of Covid19. However, if you are looking for cheap accommodation in central London, this might suit. Good WIFI. Walking distance to many amenities. Reception is at number 55 in the same street.

The couch is supposed to be a 2nd bed - but you're sleeping right on the couch fabric which had a rip in it through some of the foam as well. We were only given a thin sheet to cover it to sleep on - and that too had a burn hole in it. The bathroom door had a bunch of dirt/splatters on the kitchen side. There is insufficient places to put things - there was a towel warmer but you can only put one towel on it - put some hooks on the door - a shelf here and there. Although bedside tables may have been tight in the bedroom - they could have put a floating shelf on either side. And although they gave us dishwashing soap there were no tea towels for drying or paper towels for cleaning up messes - it was very frustrating. We wouldn't choose to stay here again. Ohhh and note that we don't think the lift worked … not fur us - we ended carrying our luggage up and down the tiny staircase.

Good location, public transportation was really close by, restaurants and stores close by. All appliances worked. Small bathroom, they did not clean our room during our stay, lacking safe box.
