Kettle didn’t work when we arrived, called reception twice, waited over an hour for a replacement kettle they had said they would bring, finally had to go out and buy a cup of tea!!!

Requested and they approved a late checkout for 12pm. Got a terse phone call at 11:10am saying why haven’t we checked out, we were late!!

Building is quite a rabbit warren and I would hate to be in there if there was a fire.

The staff was good, property clean but lacked small amenities that I expected for a family apartment. Little things like proper cooking basics: toaster, utensils like cheese grater, dish cloths, garbage bags would have made a huge difference. Location was near a couple tube stations. Size of family apartment was good overall. Clean towels provided and light housekeeping Dailey, full clean four days into our stay. Overall good value.

The kitchen ws fully equipped. There were supermarkets and restaurants nerby. Two train stations were a short walk away. The room and bed were very comfortable. We had an enjoyable stay and would certainly return here whenever we are back in London. The staff was also very helpful. We didn't have the breakfast buffet but it was a god option to have.

The staff behind the desk are extremely rude and obnoxious especially the boy with blondish hair seems youngish and has zero people skills. We did not get the room we paid for and therefore had to sleep on the most uncomfortable sofa bed, the sink in the bathroom filled right up and did not drain away, the room was absolutely tiny for 4 people and 4 suitcases plus carry on bags. Overall disgusting experience and stay away from this hotel. Such a shame that the manager has no clue how the staff treat customers, I suggest you do your research before employing such imbeciles. Where I come from you would get the sac on the spot for disrespecting my business. Not at all worth the money we paid.

We loved this location for having access to a kitchen, being able to buy groceries which are nearby, and make our own food. The building is dated, hallways are very narrow and the elevator is slow, but there are not a lot of floors. The room was spacious, beds were very firm and pillows very flat. Bathroom was decent though we could not get the plug in the bathtub to work. Having air conditioning was a life saver as it was 33c and humid the week we were there.

While staying at this hotel I received several bug bites. I asked the hotel to investigate and they couldn’t confirm what the source was. In addition, two of my items went missing and again the hotel mgt had zero explanation for this. The manager advised that they have an issue with mice in the court yard but had no explanation for the bug bites.

The air-conditioning - specially selected, though it turned out yo be a stand-alone unit - was broken in one bedroom. We were told it could not be fixed or replaced. Also, there was a mouse in another bedroom that managed to get into one of our backpacks and chew through a sealed wrapper to nobble on a protein bar. The staff were nice and apologetic, but the hot weather and broken a/c plus mouse made for an uncomfortable stay.

The location is great but if you can’t walk steps or have limited mobility work with the apartment management directly. We were on fifth floor and elevator only went to fourth floor. Very convoluted walking patterns.

Good location within walkibg distance of Hyde Park and two tube stations. Several options for food nearby. Bathroom nicely renovationed. Laundry services resonabke rates. Kitchenette adequately stocked. No freezer, though. Windows draughty. Pull out couch was dufficult to reassemble.

3.5 stars but good ones!

Very well run hotel/apts and efficient staff but although clean and comfortable it wasn’t 4 star, more good 3 Star. This is fine but it means they’d have to drop their prices or think about upgrading the rooms a bit. I’d stay there again on a last minute deal anyway as it served my purposes fine.

The staff were all polite and checking was easy. We were allowed to leave out bags with the hotel until the official check-in time.

Upon check-in, were given a room facing the courtyard which had additional late night noise from the adjoining restaurant, this made getting quality sleep until midnight possible.

The room was slight worn, but well used and housekeeping did an excellent job of restocking towels and remaking the room.

Overall, we enjoyed the hotel and aside from the late night noise from the attached restaurant we'd potentially stay at this location again.

The hotel was nice for the money paid. It was close to Bayway tube station and Hyde Park. The laundry servicewas great, drop it.off in the morning and pick it up at night. Do worry about the hotel breakfast. Go to M&S on the corner and get crossants and cereal and you will have the same thing. Housekeeping was wonderful. They even did the dishes.

Not what we expected

This place is too expensive for what you get. We were a party of 5. Our room said it was for 6 people. There was only one bathroom for all 5 of us, it was very inconvenient. The layout was one room with two twin beds, which were ok. The living room area had a full bed and a full size sofa. There was one mirror in the bathroom and another inside the room. One hair dryer attached to the wall and another one that could be plugged in somewhere else but no other mirrors available. They would both overheat and stop working for a few minutes. There were no elevators to our room so we had to carry our luggage through the stairs.

Nice Hotel tucked in a Pretty Neighborhood

We were upgraded to a 2 BR and 2 Bathrooms and that was very nice of them. We have comfortable beds and pillows, a nice tub and shower area The hotel is in a nice neighborhood. near restaurants if you walk to the left when you come out of the hotel. Great hotel at quiet street

Great location, close to several underground stations, shops etc and Kensington gardens. Very quiet street, we had windows open at night and were not disturbed. Good rooms, although a bit small when the sofa bed was made, it was difficult to fit 4 at the table. A quite small kitchen but fine to make breakfast. No freezer. Very comfortable beds and great cleaning. Very nice area with lots of nice restaurants

We enjoyed our 8 night stay here. The location is excellent and is a 5 minute walk from the Bayswater Tube Station. We felt very safe walking to our accommodation at night. It is also a 10 minute walk from Queensway Tube which was convenient for the central line. We were upgraded to a 2 bed apartment which was lovely - this hotel is great if you don’t want to pay high hotel prices - we were happy with our stay.

Elevator only went to the fourth floor and dragging luggage up skinny stairs to our room was not reasonable for elderly travelers. The couch was considered a bed and the 2 inch thick mattress was unbearable, but the front desk did offer to bring another 2” to put on top of the other. The rooms were clean but old.

But we were right next to the air con machines or something and the smell was terrible. We should have asked to move but we were only there for 3 nights and were really only in the room to sleep. The grand plaza has bedbugs (which we discovered as we left), thebleast comfortable sofa bed that I have ever slept on, and wen went had now hot water for three days and asked to have it fixed, the maintenance person came in and used the bathroom while he was there (toilet seat left up). I complained to the front desk and they did nothing about it.

the place is ok since we are a family of 6, there are 2 rooms and an ensuite, but still, the people in the other room need to get into the master's to use the washroom. Quad room (2 bedrooms)-Great location, near Hyde Park, Notting Hill, 25 minute walk to Paddington, nice trendy restaurants close by. Had room 120, it got very warm and no a/c with the current heatwave, a tad uncomfortable for us. 1 bedroom had ceiling fan. No A/C and there was no offer of a fan for the front bedroom. Housekeeping was good. Really more 3 star.
