the kitchen was very poorly equiped. We only made coffee and bread for breakfast. Almost no silverware. However, the beds were comfortable. The shower door was off track. The location was fabulous!

Our booking was apparently ‘lost’ between Expedia and High Street Apartments and we arrived from the other side of the world to no accommodation- despite receiving an email the day before confirming the booking and welcoming us. We paid in full 5 months earlier. We have not yet received a refund.

I was pleasantly surprised by the location of the apartment. We would book again.

While the other reviews did mention issues with the lift, we were already accustomed to going up and down stairs. In the future, it might be good to alert customers about this issue.

In general, the apartment meet all of our needs for a family of 5. The washing machine was another added perk. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had no issues with checking in and out. The person who checked us in was friendly and helped with my wife’s bag.

Location, location, location! Short walk to tube station and buses into central London. Local shops, including M&S and Whole Foods. Good sized fridge, excellent washer/dryer and dishwasher. Very clean and comfortable beds with good storage. Big TV in living room where you can sign into your Netflix or Prime account to watch movies. Good shower pressure and clean bathroom. Overall great square footage for central London!

The location is simply amazing- being right by Kensington Gardens, the underground, multiple grocery stores, and plenty of shopping. While the apartment could benefit from a deep cleaning and some maintenance, it didn’t feel dirty or unsafe at all. It was well appointed with everything you need to make the place your home away from home.

Overall our stay was good. Location is the highlight. Kensington is a central, safe area with good transport links and a great high street. Check in was seamless. The apartment was clean and the linen was good but there are maintenance issues which were clearly not new. Broken shower door, toilet seats, cupboard and vanity drawer. Curtains falling down and lamps missing light globes. Half empty shampoo and body wash containers and no tea/coffee etc. This all needs attention. We didn’t get a courtyard/balcony as advertised but we did get a second bathroom which was a welcomed extra.
TVs in each bedroom were good, as was air con/heating/wifi. No lifts, be prepared to climb stairs.

Great place to stay, located right next door to the Iranian embassy so there was lots of security! Apartment was clean with high ceilings and lots of space. Very new bathroom and style. Some plugs didn’t work but we just used the others. Everything else was amazing!

The location was wonderful. And the unit was quite nice. We had an unfortunate hiccup with check-in which led to some stress for us, but it all worked out.
It would have been nice if there were a few more basics stocked in the kitchen. The only frying pan was teflon, but all of the utensils were metal.
Overall, it was a really lovely stay. The air conditioning was very nice.

The furniture Is old and dirty. The floor is all scratched. People staying on top of us were running and moving furniture for a whole night. Could not sleep. Lift was broken. Had to take up all our luggage through the stairs

Maintenance not a priority

This was in a great location convenient to tube and shopping/dining. Because there is a consulate office/residence next door it has police present 24 hours outside.
The apartment was spacious (bathrooms small as typical of urban areas in London). Maintenance of the building didn’t seem a priority so don’t necessarily expect the laundry amenities or showers that drain,etc. we ended up having to use a laundromat and it was a bit of a commute since the residences in this neighborhood all have laundry and there aren’t big hotels nearby. I really don’t think I would recommend this specific property just the location. If you do book you may want to mention that you are specifically booking because of laundry or AC amenities. Those were my main requirements other than the area being safe and convenient. We enjoyed our stay in Paris at Hotel Eiffel Turenne and our last night in London at the Standard (very convenient to the Eurostar train station and Londons biggest underground tube station with multiple lines). Don’t be filled by my name, I gave both of those hotels 5 stars 😉

Great location. Staff was great, even after we lost a set of keys. Unfortunately the dryer function on the dual washer/dryer unit didn’t work and we had to air dry a load. Also ran out of soap in the bathroom on the last day.

BAD BAD BAD. Don’t stay at this dirty place unless you want to get bitten by fleas. By day 3, we were covered in itchy bite marks that ruined our trip.

Most things are broken and need to be replaced and they really need to deep clean and fumigate the place.

We complained and while they were responsive, they cleaned it again, the problem didn’t go away (even after ‘deep cleaning’ it was still dusty) and when we asked for a refund, only offered a 5% discount, which is not acceptable imo.

Location is great, but that’s it. I wouldn’t recommend.

nice area of town, apartment is limited

Overall the area of London was great and the flat was centrally located. The washing machine didnt dry the clothes and the AC in the unit was very minimal so we had to go purchae fans. Also, they didnt furnish hand towels so we had to go buy them as well. You have to call to have get new towels and they didnt offer a cleanign service so we had to take out trash and clean the unit.

A Lovely Place to Stay!

We loved this flat so much. It was very comfortable - beds were cozy, and we loved its close proximity to shops, the tube, and lots of restaurants.

We restocked any items like toilet roll as needed, but loved having a full kitchen and laundry!

Really great location! Kensington high street is literally seconds from the doorstep. Nicely appointed appartement. Clean and modern. On the down-side, some of the furniture is a little tired (not the most comfortable sofa etc), kitchen isn’t very well stocked. This wasn’t a big deal for us. We would definitely stay again!

Great location, beautiful architecture, authentic London experience. On the negative side we got only one key and since apartment was on a fifth floor someone would have to go down the stairs to open the door and climb back to fifth floor without the elevator. Sofa bed is worn out and should be replaced.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE!

the place had bed-bugs. we had to run away once we found it. the bedrooms are tiny and most bedrooms had a fake window. the apartment is damp, some pictures are probably taken from a different apartment, since it was definitely not what we saw in our apartment. the paint is falling some of the walls. you cant even fit a suitcase in the bedrooms. the \"management\" of the place did not provide us a full refund, even though we immediately informed them of the problems. very disappointing.

I loved the idea of this place! The location is fantastic and the communication and check-in process went very well for us. However, the apartment is in serious need of a thorough cleaning. The living room furniture is filthy, the bathrooms were dirty, there was food under the kitchen table. Some of the cabinets are in need to repair.

We loved the location and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The apartment was very nice and clean. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so plenty of space for 3 of us. With a fridge, DW and washer/dryer it was well-equipped. My only suggestion would be to provide a box of tissues and a roll of paper towels. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

I found the property to be very stylish, warm and comfortable. The shower was amazing and the ktchen was well equipped with full appliances. Home from home. I could have easily stayed there for weeks as all my needs would have been met both inside and outside the appartment. A nice touch was the complementary Nespresso coffee and biscuits!

Exceptional service in an excellent location

Location was excellent, just 3 minutes away from shopping street and 5 minutes from underground. Parking under the apartment is not available if one has a car.

We were in apartment 11 which was on the highest floor. Note that the lift only goes up to the floor before that - one would have to walk or carry their luggage up the stairs. The apartment is well equipped - detergents provided for dishwasher and washing machine, coffee machine, kettle. We wished that the beds were slightly bigger. Think it was smaller than standard queen. The couch and carpet were stained but apartment is otherwise clean.

Service was exceptional. As our flight was in the evening and we stored our luggage there, the in charge that day (Merehan) also kindly allowed us to use an available apartment after our check out time to eat our packed meals and use the washroom before we head off to the airport. That was much appreciated as we have young kids with us.

The location is superb quiet residential area but within a minutes walk of the Kensington High street .

great location and a modern apartment.

We were greeted well and had a fairly straight forward check in process - we did not realise we needed ID to check in so additional paperwork was needed as we do not travel in the UK with a passport. The room was lovely although a little smaller than I had expected but nevertheless had everything we needed except some milk which would have been a lovely touch as tea bags and coffee were provided so milk would have been handy. It was an exceptionally cold time while we were in London and we could not get the room to heat up - after mentioning this to the staff they attended and set the thermostat to 30. Wow - you think, that must have been hot. It wasn’t it was just then a lovely comfortable room temperature so I was not surprised that we had it set to 25 and at that the room was cool. Great location - 5 min walk to the underground. Buses run frequently along the High Street and many restaurants and bars in the area. This is London so you need transport to get around but it is so easy. If we were staying for longer the room would have been ideal for up to a week but on a return visit I think a larger space would be better for 2.

It's location is perfect close to shops, restaurants, cafe's, whole foods ,underground train station and in an affluent community. The place is very cozy for a couple and has all the amenities. Would recommend having a hair dryer/straightener especially if you're traveling abroad. Other than that we were very satisfied with the service.

Excellent location just off Kensington High Street, so easy to get to most places. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment in the basement, which was pleasant enough but the bathrooms were very small. The internet was not available for our whole 3 day stay, and reading previous reviews it looks as though this may be a regualr problem, but that did not bother us too much.

Wow, what a truly lovely find. We were greeted with a smile and a very friendly attitude. We went to our apartment ( number 2) it was fabulous, the photographs, are absolutely on the money, you are getting what you see. Clean,warm and comfortable and luxurious. The location was the draw for us as it was near to Kensington High Street Tube, and within walking distance to all the museums and galleries that we wanted to see. The only downside was on our first night the alarm was beeping through the night, and the water system was very noisy, but it's a no brainier, this is a fantastic place to stay and I would definitely reccomend it to all my friends and family. Thank you.

First time to stay at this property, and I was very pleasantly surprise upon check in....especially the reception. I travel almost 260 nights per year and I am very particular about the properties I stay. Upon checking in I was greeted warmly by a very helpful front desk manager, Lorentsa. She was able to provide helpful insight about the property, ensure the unit met my expectations, suggested ares to visit in the immediate area of London, and even helped explain other room types they have for my future visits. This is the type of above and beyond service that will have me returning to the property. In addition the room was very clean (property newly built), the bed was comfortable, kitche stocked with essentials and bathroom was spotless. Location is perfect. One block from lots of activity, but because it is removed from the main street it is very quiet...I slept very well.

We really enjoyed the apartment. The closeness to transportation and all the “tourist” things you should be doing was very nice. The lift was convenient but if your not a fan of stairs be cautious as this unit is the 3rd floor.
The bed could use some softness and we had some trouble with the bathroom light switch. Otherwise it’s definitely a 8.5 out of 10

Our recent stay at B’Shan Apartments was awesome...(Room 8 with two bedrooms). We were a family of 4 (with 2 teenage boys). The front desk staff was extremely helpful and she did her best to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Without fail, she will always be asking if there were anything that she can do to help. It’s always nice to be greeted by her cheerful ‘Hello’ as we get ready to set off for each day.

It is conveniently located near the subway, as well as there are plenty to do and see within walking distance. The apartment is clean, spacious, well equipped and so nicely done up – nice decor and we really felt at home. After a long day of exploring the city – it’s nice to come back to a comfortable apartment! A*+ for location, and A* +++ for service of staff...
