The room is very spacious, comfy, and had everything we needed. One thing is if you have to dry your hair you have to be in the living room since you have more counter space. Staff is very helpful, printed out things out for us, helped my dad with his electrical ports, and getting a taxi

Location is great, walking distance to Kensington palace and park.

We were given an “upgraded” room which was fine. Unfortunately it had an accessible bathroom which we certainly did NOT need. We didn’t notice the bathroom until too late. Each time we took a shower the bathroom flooded!

Staff were polite and helpful and check- in and out were smooth but the hotel its self is tired and desperatly in need of a renovation. Our room was stifling hot when we first entered and despite turning off all the heating we sweltered through the night. The lifts are tiny and slow which made getting between floors hard with a family and luggage.

Very pleasant staff. The man on reception was quick, efficient, and friendly checking me in as was the woman the following morning. Room was nice. It's a perfectly good hotel in a good location. The only issue is the noise - it's on a busy main road and you can hear traffic and sirens all night.

The room had an awful smell when we entered it, and a radiator in the middle of the room ??? Probably drying something out?? Soon got used to it so not an issue after a while.
The shower was incredibly powerful, never known a shower like it - excellent!
The bed was very comfortable and a nice sized room - clean and tidy and room temperature was adjustable. All in all a good stay in a hotel that is starting to show its age

Me and my friend were itchy the first night time at the Hilton. Thought it could’ve been the heat as the air condition consistently stayed at 24c.
But Noooo! I’ve come home with bites all over myself. I have reference pictures of required.
Wouldn’t stay here again and will be reporting to someone about this.

On my last day, the hotel slipped a form under my door saying that I needed to provide a credit card for extra charges. When I went to the front desk to ask what the charges were for, the manager said I had bought something. He was very supercilious when I told him I didn't think I had bought anything. He said \"you don't THINK so, or you you KNOW you didn't?\" I couldn't think of anything I had bought, so I asked to see exactly what the extra charges were for, whereupon he informed me that it was £8 for a beer. I said that I had not bought a beer. Instead of apologizing, he abruptly ordered the desk clerk to cancel the charges and turned away. I found his attitude rude and patronizing. Why not tell the customer at the outset, what the extra charges were for? Why did I have to ask? Not a very professional way to do business.

Low floor room with unbearable traffic noise due to ill fitted and single glazed windows to street level. Room not ready on time and long queues at reception and breakfast space simply too small for the 7.30am rush. Location is good. If I'd paid less I might have scored more highly but as it is this was a full market rate for the area and room type and was very poor value.

I recently stayed at Hilton London Olympia for two nights and was disappointed with the hotel condition and poor hygiene standards. We requested our bed sheets to be changed, the cleaners ignored the request.

I've given the hotel 2 stars for a few reasons:
-the rooms, although clean, are looking worn and dated. A refresh would bring this up to the price range and standard I would expect from Hilton.
-related to this, the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows went flat the instant we put our heads on them. The mattress felt old and sagging. A bed refresh is very much needed.
-the shower screen is oddly small, so water goes everywhere.

The hotel needs a major makeover. Avoid

Customer service was great. Rooms had everything we needed, just a little dated and tired looking - desperately needs an upgrade to reflect Hilton standards. Mattress needs an upgrade, it was very uncomfortable.

Breakfast was awesome - so much choice and great value when booked ahead of time.

The lifts were too slow - not an issue if you're on the lower floors, however we were on the 7th, so using the stairs wasn't always an option, especially with all our luggage.

Location was great, few minutes walk to Kensington Olympia - District Line and overground. Especially useful when there were underground strikes during our visit. Buses into central were frequent too.

The hotel was not in good condition. They said I had an updated room, but the rug was so dirty I needed socks to even walk on it. The shower was low, I practically had to lean over to fit in it. The air conditioning didn’t work and the room had a stale smell and overall very outdated. I would not recommend this hotel

Good but not excellent. On checking in, it was slow your not greeted with a smile, concierge was definitely really faultless, room service was excellent, we didn’t want the room serviced as we had an early start with make up/hair stylists coming to the room, I placed a full bin outside the door hoping they would have the sense to replace it, they didn’t. The bathroom sanitary box was Empty only one toilet roll in place, had to ask reception for coffee as there was only tea in the room. It’s the little things which are also important. I would stay at the hotel again as it’s in a good location. I think the Hilton just needs to polish up on the small things, otherwise a great stay.

Area is okay. My husband and I were hoping to be in South Kensington, this was a more affordable option and it is a 7-minute bus ride to the High Street Kensington shopping area. No tube station nearby, so we mostly used the bus (there are two stations as soon as you leave the hotel).

Staff could do a bit more as far as customer service goes. The male receptionist that checked us in wasn't friendly. The one assisting with check out didn't even look up or asked if we had a good stay. Just grabbed our key card and carried on.

Rooms are subpar and outdated. Beds squeak easily, matress sunken and uneven. Bath towels had holes in them, bath robes ripped. Everything feels wornt out. I have stayed at other Hilton hotels before and this one doesn't meet the standards the brand sets out.

Tight squeeze carpark under the hotel.
Not very well signposted on how to get up stairs into the hotel via the lift etc.
Rooms spacious and comfortable..plenty of towels,bathrobes and slippers.
Tea,coffee facilities too.
Breakfast ,had an extensive choice on offer.But do close at 10.30 am, prompt on Sunday am.

Checking process is EXTREMELY slow

We arrived before the 3pm check in and were allowed to check in early (fill in all the forms, show IDs etc). However we were told we would have to come back at 3pm for the Keys as the room was not ready. Which is fair enough as they were still being cleaned.

3pm arrived and the staff on the desks were so slow in dealing with guests, many experiencing issues with WiFi.

When we did eventually reach the desk the lady tried to check us in again, filling in the same forms etc. when we mentioned we had already done this and were just picking up Keys this seem to confuse her even more.

Overall checking was not smooth.

The overall hotel is a great location, comfy yet dated rooms compared to other hotels

The breakfast options were fantastic. Everything from porridge to a cooked.

I booked this hotel partially because it has an elevator. But the elevator reaches to the floor. Our floor was the third floor then we had to climb 8 steps where the rooms where. It’s okay for every day but not with luggage. Also there were no plug outlets next to the bed. Only at the desk. Which I had brought some extension cords.

The busstop is in front of Hotel and to the central of London very easy. Restaurants and shops are near to the hotel with a 5 minutes walk. We were very happy and want to come back.

We usually stay further up Kensington High St W8 but decided to try the Hilton this time.
I'm very glad we did!
Although the room seemed a little 'tired', it was very clean, comfortable, well stocked with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries, tins of still and sparkling water and also had a small refrigerator which is always a bonus!
The tv was huge, another bonus, and also had the full range of freeview channels, which often other hotels don't.

The Reception staff, from the Duty Manager who I spoke with a couple of weeks before this particular stay and the person that checked us in for this stay were brilliant. Very friendly, professional and welcoming.

Breakfast was excellent and very much appreciated.....every staff member was marvelous, friendly and helpful.

We'd have no hesitation recommending this Hotel to others and have already reserved two further twin rooms inc EB for 19 Dec for our annual Christmas shopping and Theatre trip!
One small request I'll make a little nearer to check in would be a higher floor room away from Kensington High St. Traffic noise was quite loud! All things considered though, we loved our stay. Highly recommend!

The hotel itself was clean, conveniently located. The issue is one person in my group unexpectedly had their flight cancelled due to airline strike and wasn’t able to come on the trip. The hotel refused to refund the room and wouldn’t even give a partial refund. We reserved 9 rooms, so it was wild to me that they wouldn’t be flexible at all with us.
