The radiator was on full blast and could turn it down in the room. Had to open window and call and text them to turn it off. Eventually after 3 hours it went off. Was a sauna and so uncomfortable to be in. But eventually cooled down

Below average - last minute booking
It’s just basic if you need somewhere to stay for the night. Bed was comfy for me but my partner felt otherwise. The room was quite dusty and the windows / windowsill could do with a proper clean (the whole room including bathroom too). The door keys can be a little dodgy. They do provide towels and your basic, tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets. This comes with some mugs, no spoons or stirrers and, I wouldn’t recommend using the kettle, I had a feeling before I opened it that I wasn’t going to use it. It BADLY needs descaling, the water that was still inside, was cloudy and white. If you just need a bed for the night, last minute, then it’s fine. But apart from that it was below average.

Awful disturbing night finally came to an end. Was hoping for some rest before exam but sadly was the worst ever experience. Wouldn't recommend it

This is a very cheap hotel in an excellent location. The rooms are basic and functional, there is no level of comfort. I called to reception to ask about heating on the second night and they said they would send someone up. They didn't - and I had to sleep in my coat as it was so cold and drafty. There was an amenities tray with tea bags, not refreshed after the first day I used it. Bed linen is sheets and a thicker cover over the top, not a duvet. The location is super convenient for Turnham Green tube, and Chiswick High Road. Staff not visible at any time, reception unmanned. If you want a cheap basic room, it will be fine.

Stay was fine, functional, did what it said in the tin! Would stay again, I had earplugs as room room was beside underground line but it was not an issue for me.. comfortable bed and friendly reception person when I say them, no one on reception full time but there is a number to call.

The room was ok, probably needs a refurb and bringing up to date, it was clean enough but not sure if they cleaned my room. For the money in that area I didn’t expect anything more to be honest, the rail way was next to my room so was a little noisy but it didn’t faze me or wake me up until it was time to get up

The room looked nice, and we didn't encounter any issues at first. Everything looked great. However, the main issue was at the middle of the night. We woke up with bed bug bites on our skin, and the bathroom ventilatior fan was very dusty. It needs a good clean.

Room was small but adequate. Clean sheets and fresh towels provided daily. Location was perfect as right next door to Turnham Green Tube station and 2 mins from Chiswick High street. The downside is that some may find the noise of the trains disturbing but it didn't bother us. Access to rooms via narrow stairs but not an issue for us. Great value for money place to stay for 1 or 2 nights with easy access to central London.

A small, wall mounted tv is situated in the corner of the room up against the ceiling due to the lack of space, and there was hardly any room around the double bed to move around or to place belongings or luggage.
Water pressure was terrible, and water was luke warm, no hot water or purely cold water seemed possible. The shower was a cheap, noisy, electric shower that provided very little water flow or pressure. It was also dirty and obviously hadn't been given a good scrub in quite a while.
All in all, I would not want to stay at this property ever again.

It was ok. I couldnt in good conscience recommend uless one was desperate for something cheap. The room was very small with two single beds. It was clean except that the carpet that was very old and needed a wash. There was no chair, no bureau, only one bedside table. There was, however an ironing board(no iron) that we used as a shelf. The bathroom was new, but the faucet needed a wash. The hooks for hanging clothes that were on the wall fell down as soon as we hung anything. My husband fixed it. The people that checked us in were very sweet, but we never saw them again until the day we checked out.

I booked a room at the Chiswick Lodge Hotel: when i arrived i was told there has been an overbooking and offered me to stay in the same kind of room at a nearby parent hotel, the Foubert's Hotel. I agreed and have been quite happy: nice, very clean and very quiet room. A little outdated and low in amenities thou. But Foubert's is also a restaurant and a bar with excellent real Italian gelato.

The roll is clean, the bathroom looks very clean and new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location, it’s less than a minute’s walk to the metro but of loud as well every time the metro drives to the station. But it takes a good 20 minutes to take the metro to Centrally London. The room is extremely small for the 3 of us. We were surprised that we got simple breakfast in our room. Which was great for us.

The room is very small and has 2 beds in it. The door can\"t be open completely because of the bed. When I decided to take shower and turn on the shower batery I was in shock. Because it was about midnight I thougth that by mistake I turn on the Hotel buzzer. What a shower batery !!!! Wow What an experienceI had! Except of that the staff is polite and the room was clean. Poor maintenance, the towel rail fell off the wall onto my wife's toe!! She now has a cut & broken toe! I would of took it further with management but we were pushed for time in the morning due to hospital appointments- no one at reception at the time I went to get first aid so I had to go to the shops for dressings. The toilet roll holder was broken. No plug for the sink. Very noisy with train station right next door. I reported injury when we left.

The location was great and the room I got was a bit small but it was cosy and clean. It was nice staying at Chiswick. The staff is very friendly and always helpful with a great smile in their face and they are also jovial. The good thing is that the hotel is next to the tube station.

Awful hotel - the pictures on hotels.com are obviously years old and it looks nothing like them! Dirty, stained, paper covered reception area, stained and brown shower tray - refused to stay as there are some lines you just can't cross! Avoid at all costs as many other hotels in local area charging less and you'll get far better than this disaster of a \"hotel\". Plus when we visited there was work outside the hotel and the noise added to the awfulness but the hotel failed to mention at all.

I know it was cheap for an overnight stay in London (£54) but it was more basic than basic! It's more like a hostel than a hotel. It's actually over an off licence.
I couldn't shower in the morning as there was no hot water so had to boil a kettle for a sink wash. The sink was actually in the room and the door to the under sink cupboard was hanging off. Oddly, both the taps had a blue stripe - may be they didn't bother putting a hot tap because they never have hot water! Even if there had been hot water I didn't particularly fancy a shower as it was dirty.
It's very cramped. My room was right behind the reception desk. As I walked out my door I was behind the desk!
it makes Fawlty Towers look like The Ritz. The description 'Doss House' is more accurate than 'Hotel'.
I didn't stay for the inclusive breakfast, the thought of eating in there didn't appeal to me.
I've given staff a generous 2/5. I only saw one person who just appeared and showed me to my room and told me when breakfast was.

I just want to notify customers that this hotel is run by scammers, they charged me twice for the room rate and when I called them to ask about it, they were apologetic for the \"mistake\" and then instead of reimbursing me, they charged me again, when I contacted them again they said the manager is not available and now upon further contact they do not want to respond, I paid three times the price of a bad serviced hotel room, if you book here (better if you look elsewhere), you need to look a hundred times at your bank account to make sure you were not scammed.

The toilet didn't flush, the shower barely had a trickle and was full of mold. I informed staff of issues and they didn't fix anything. I went out for dinner for the night and my card did not get me back into the lobby. I called hotel after hours to gain access and no answer. Horrible place. Do not stay here. I was locked out for over two hours until I snuck in a back door after jumping a fence. Camping is better than this hotel.

The hotel is located adjacent to the district & picadilly tube lines, so you can hear trains. The beds are comfortable, the room relatively spacious, and the bathroom a good size though the shower had minimal pressure. Service was welcoming & friendly, though not the fastest experience. WiFi didn't work. Chiswick is a vibrant, modern area of London.
