Overall my stay was satisfying at the hotel the young lady at the front desk was welcoming. Me personally didn't like my food at the View I can't speak for the bar because I don't drink maybe come summer I may go back to enjoy the beach

The Cambria needs some mega updating and some cleaning of carpets, walls, and elevators in common areas as well as in the rooms. The pool when you looked down from the balcony was disgusting with large brown and green stains and full of debris. If it wasn't time to open, cover it, it was a horrible sight from the balcony to greet guests. There was hair in the bathroom in the tub, in the sink, and on the toilet as well as when I sat down to breakfast in the restaurant, the window ledge right by the table was covered in grime and food debris/spills. We ate early, this was days/weeks of no clean up along with dead bugs on the floor in the restaurant not just from a busy morning of diners. Front desk and housekeeping staff could use urgent hospitality training in every way from presentation, attire, speaking and interacting, and generally just being able to understand their role, as well as what the true concept of welcome means for guests. The view and location were beautiful, and parking was adequate. Breakfast was very good and not too overpriced. But even for Ocean City in May, the room rate was super exorbitant for the quality of experience which was lacking. Very disappointing as I had stayed previously at the Cambria and this stay was terrible in comparison, almost unrecognizable in condition and in service. Since the beautiful original pink sandcastle Dunes Manor closed and Cambria is now lacking, there is no really lovely hotel to stay in Ocean City. Sad.

We love staying at Cambria and have stayed here before. Unfortunately this past trip will be our last and we will be looking for a new hotel when we come to OCMD. When I booked the trip initially through Hotels.com, I had put a deposit down but apparently the payment did not go through (which I did not find out until I arrived at the hotel). That would have been nice to know. Then the $250 security deposit is a tad steep. We have stayed at many hotels, most of which are nicer than Cambria and have not encountered that. Not to mention it takes about a week to reverse - ridiculous. Our first full day there we were woken up from a phone call around 7:30am from the front desk which rang once and then hung up. My husband and I had a hard time going back to sleep, but eventually did. Then around 10am we were woken up in a panic when housekeeping tried entering but luckily we had it bolted. Not the housekeepers fault at all and she apologized profusley. She said that the front desk never alerted her that someone was in the room. So was not a great experience and definitely not going back.

The ladies at the front desk was amazing. We received a complimentary drink that we enjoyed. We relaxed in the large hot tub with others without feeling crowded. Everything was great! The only issue i had was with the \"crab dip\" at the restaurant. They need to call it cheese dip with an appearance of crab. It was a waste of my hard earned money. The wings were good but when you are in Maryland you want to eat crabs.

The front desk attendants are extremely helpful and our room was clean. Most importantly was the fact that the chef was able to accommodate my request for my special diet. Finally, the location is easy access to walking to the beach and boardwalk. I will book again.

We had a great time as usual while staying at Cambria. The front desk kicked off our stay right by going above and beyond getting everything we wanted. I asked what time I could get a cup of hot tea In the morning and she offered to get me cups and tea bag so I could have it when I wanted. High five to her!
The bed is super awesome! My husband and I do not wake each other up and sleep like babies. The rooms are one of most sound proofed we have stayed in anywhere.

This was third time using the hotel for my birthday trip. I noticed the change when I checked in. I normally could check in early around 2p. Not this time. I had to til 4pm. Carpet getting to my room on the 5th floor needs to cleaned ASAP. The room was ok except the bathroom had a mystery table under the sink. The over flow drain in the sink was black from not being cleaned. The shower was slippery. The handle nops in the shower were lose. I was awaken by the guy next door coughing and sneezing all night long. The staff refused to give me plastic utensils. It was cold and maintenance was power washing the entrance. The wifi signal constantly was out. I was not told til check in that the water would be out ... The phone was missing a chord. The front desk would not answer the phone. Disappointing.

This was my second stay and I still give it a 10/10. The cleanliness, the urgent fix of my toilet and the breakfast was great. It was a bit cold around this time so we decided to cut our trip short however I would stay here everything I come to ocean city.

My wife and I recently celebrated our 20th anniversary at the Cambria Hotel Ocean City – Bayfront, and I can honestly say the entire experience exceeded expectations.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. The check-in process was smooth, and when they learned we were celebrating a milestone anniversary, their warmth and professionalism stood out immediately. It’s rare to find a team that balances efficiency with genuine hospitality, but they did exactly that.

The room itself was outstanding—modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The bayfront view created a calm, beautiful backdrop that elevated the entire stay. Everything felt intentional, from the lighting to the layout, making it easy to relax and truly enjoy the moment.

What impressed me most was the consistency of the staff. Whether at the front desk or around the property, everyone was courteous, attentive, and carried themselves with pride. That kind of culture reflects strong leadership and a commitment to excellence.

We also had dinner at Spain Wine Bar, just steps away from the hotel, and it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was attentive, and the food was outstanding. It complemented the entire evening perfectly and added another layer to an already memorable celebration.

After 20 years of marriage, you start to appreciate experiences that are simple, well-executed, and meaningful. This was one of them.

Room was clean and had all we needed for our stay. The only hick up was that the charging outlets by the bed did not work and one side light also was out. We did not have breakfast at the Hotel but we did have dinner at the bar and the food was fine, on the cold side though. The highlighted beer was very good, better then expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great time.

Great pool and hot tub, most comfortable beds in a hotel, loved the view and convenient location. Front desk staff were friendly, but the staff in the eatery in the lobby were not helpful at all, my husband and son wanted to have breakfast there one morning and they never acknowledged them, so they ended up leaving and not happy.

Was really looking forward to a quick getaway to our favorite location during Christmas Break. We checked in a little before 4. Went to the room (521) and noticed it was cold. We tried the thermostat, but it would only go up to 57. We headed out for dinner / drinks and got back to the room at 9. It was COLD - 66. Went to bed and woke up to 64. Went to the bathroom and the toilet was draining slowly. Went to the front desk were they gave us a plunger and put in a call to maintenance. After 30 minutes we got the toilet flowing again. An hour or so later maintenance arrived and after some communication we said yes we went it WARMER in the room. We left for the day to do some activities and arrived back mid afternoon. They set the thermostat to 70. In reality it only got as high as 68/69. We tried to adjust to at least 72 and it dropped to 57. Went to front desk and asked to get it adjusted to at least 72. Went out to dinner came back and it was set to 78. YIKES first night we froze next night we were sweating but cracked the balcony door so it stayed around 74. What a disappointment. No compensation - like a free breakfast or something. We enjoyed the location but for a newer hotel it has it issues. Fix the thermostat in room 521 is my recommendation.

Man I was all prepared to give the a 5+. The front desk was amazing! Kind, accommadating, friendly. The niggt desk after 11p was so helpful, checkout easy and knowledgeable about some charges on my card.BUT the breakfast restaurant gets a 0. I was greeted told to sit anywhere. She brought a menu over and never acknowledged me again despite me waving at her. I sat gor 15 minutes. She took another party who sat after me. They were at the table beside me. I said ok she will come back to me. She never did so I left. I told the front desk of the bad setvice and left the hotel.

The staff were not helpful at all. My husband got very ill from eating a bite of sausage at the View. The breakfast spot. My food was extremely old. The sheets caused a rash for my husband.
The office manager at the front desk, brushed off the concerns and food illness as it was nothing.

Very nice area, big rooms, but would not choose to stay here again.

Although Hotels.com did make up for it, it was over an hour of inconvenience to get things straightened out. The Cambria offers, clean spacious rooms, great staff, wonderful amenities. Food and bar service are excellent.

One side of the king bed was only 18 inches from the wall requiring you to walk sideway. A small safe was at floor level, requiring you to get on your hands and knees to use it. The refrigerator door opened in the wrong direction and was up against the requiring you to look over top of it and around it to see in it. The thermostat was broken or unusable. All the lights in the building the outside patios stay on all night long. Blackout shade or curtain had to be drawn. Very little light in the room at night unless you turned on the bathroom light, which was quite bright when it shined through the double glass doors.

Bad: minimalist rooms with only a few shelves and drawers, not for a long stay! We reserved a king bed upper floor bay front and were given a side view of bay. They then moved us to bay front with two queens since no kings available. Elevator floor very sticky.

Unfortunately we had rain and very windy weather the first day but our well appointed room and the lobby sitting area provided a wonderful bayfront view.
Because of the weather we decided to have breakfast at the hotel. The food and service were both very good.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and the amusement end of the boardwalk.
Shoppers can take a short drive across a bridge to the outlets, restaurants and movie theater in West Ocean City.

Outlets & charging units didn’t work next to bed. Maid service came in day before we left only. Breakfast service was terrible. Warm, old coffee serviced from pump. Not fresh. 1 piece of toast was served instead of 2. Had to ask for butter & salt & pepper.

The bathroom of our room was terrible. There was actually feces from a previous stay, smeared on the bottom of the toilet. Once we noticed it, we made sure to pack up our things and leave very early (a few hours later) that morning. I hope that anyone that stays in room 611 makes sure to check under the toilet before use.

Third summer staying with Cambria in OC. Great all around facility, multiple dining options on premise as well as walking distance to many more. Jet ski and boat rentals within steps too. We prefer the inner bay views as it’s quieter and get to enjoy the great sunsets, but the beach is also being two blocks away is super convenient. Highly recommend it

A-courteous front desk and bar staff. No room food service. Restaurant is not even owned by the hotel. Dated amenities. Indoor pool water cold. No pool life guard. Expect a dirty game played if you will need to change anything on the reservation. Elevators smelled weird and disgusting most of the time. No smart atVs in the rooms in 2025!!! A number of electric outlets were not working. Too expensive for what you get. I don’t recommend it.

They put us on the 7th floor, beautiful view, but the restaurant is above the room. Chairs draggi g and banging hard until 2am. No sleep that night. Compained and requested to be moved. Had the most rude and unprofessional service.
We were demanded to move out of our room to be transferred giving us a couple hours notice. I had a day planed on a boat, had to cancel my trip to be back in time or they would have house keeping move my stuff. Absurd. No apologies, they actelike they doing me a favor. I am paying $500 a night and cant sleeep???
