They did not give use shampoo and it smelled like dead fish, I know it was on the beach but it smelled like dead fish and socks. over all it was kinda small but the staff was 10/10, and the pool was nice, warm and clean. It was fine for 3 days but I feel more then 3 days would be a bit to much but over all it was a nice stay.

Location was excellent! Pool with bar and live entertainment wonderful. Rooms however; old and run down. Mattresses haven’t been replaced in 20 years. Old carpet and common areas very unkept. Sadly; exterior well kept so it appears to be upscale. Staff wonderful but rooms need to be updated badly.

The beach view was excellent and the rockers on the front porch were a very nice touch. The location of the hotel's restaurants were perfect. The pool area was clean. I did not get into the jacuzzi or the pool. It could use a bit more shocking and evidence of appropriate water maintenance.

Basic convenient beach hotel. Friendly reception check-in staff. Loved the outside seating of rocking chairs. Clean lobby but hallways of rooms needed vacuumed. Furniture in room needs upgraded and overall room needs fresh painting. Bed mattress definitely needs replacement(448). Room was never serviced and I asked housekeeping 2 separate days for fresh towels that were not received. Nice outside bar at the pool.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms were okay, but there was hair on the towels in the bathroom and candy on the floor, the tub was still dirty, and the mircowave was dirty in the inside from the pervious person that stayed in the room. I had my own cleaning supplies and cleaned up to feel comfortable. I do think it's to expensive not to be clean. Great location and the pool was nice, but you had to walk pass ten different people smoking just to get to the pool. I am not a smoker and dont like my kids having to inhale all that second hand smoke just walking pass to get to the pool.

I stayed at the Plim Plaza Hotel for a vacation in Ocean City, and while the location was great, almost everything else about this hotel was disappointing.

First, the room was extremely small — so small there wasn’t even a chair or table to sit and eat at. Since the weather during our trip was horrible, we ended up stuck inside more than expected, which made the tiny room feel even worse. The room had two full-size beds instead of a king, so as a couple we either had to sleep side by side in a cramped bed or separately.

The carpet throughout the hotel was filthy and uneven. I refused to walk barefoot the entire trip because it felt dirty everywhere. The hallway floors literally felt unstable, like you could fall through at any moment. It honestly felt unsafe.
Our toilet ran nonstop the entire vacation, the bathtub was cracked, and every shower sounded like “three cows fighting in the bathroom.” The fridge also did not work, which ruined a $50 steak I had saved from my birthday dinner.
I asked for an upgrade immediately after seeing the room and was told all rooms were the same. That was clearly not true because I saw several rooms during my stay that were MUCH larger and had significantly more space.
The hot tub was also disgusting — the water was literally a greenish-brown “poop color,” yet people were still getting in it.
The ONLY truly great thing about this hotel was the staff. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and professional.

I checked in this hotel open the door to the room. There was a suffocating smell of mildew and cigarettes. I immediately checked out because of my health concerns.

The manager canceled my reservation and gave me a receipt of some sort, but because I could not remember his name, Expedia would not refund me after the manager told me that they would.

According to the manager, they were not getting paid for the night, but according to Expedia, there was no cancellation honestly ridiculous. I was not going to leave my experience on the reviews since I felt like originally they handled it so well, but here we are two months later with no refund

The check in staff was amazing. I don't understand why this is categorized as a hotel. It's more on the level of a motel. It definitely wasn't worth the price that was paid. I honestly wanted to check out as soon as I saw the inside of the hotel and the room. The entire place is outdated and appears unkept. I definitely would not recommend. Expedia, you failed on this one for sure! At least a partial refund should be honored since your recommendation, photos and reviews were very misleading.

Where to start:

1. Shower/bathroom had mold in the shower, both hand wash and shampoo bottles were empty.

2. Went to lay down for the night, sheets were stained with how knows what. Told the front desk, someone showed up 30 mins later to put on some more dirty sheets.

3. The room was humid, I get it because we are by the beach but the carpet in the room was wet. The room had a musty smell to it.

Just because it's cheap, it doesn't make it worth it.

Not again. This hotel was located off the board walk. The hotel was old. Don't be fooled by the pictures. The rooms are small, the windows dingy and the walls were thin. You could hear entire conversations by hotel staff in the halls, the feet of people walking past all night long and parking was horrible. To be downtown OC, pay that much, and get a poor impression simply means not to book another stay at this place again. We will stay outside downtown, get the peace and quiet we deserve! If you have a choice, go elsewhere!

The property is a little bit dated and the room was on the smaller side, but the location and friendly staff made up for that. We just wanted an affordable room for our stay which is what we found at Plim Plaza. It is a great location on the boardwalk and parking wasn't an issue. For parking, they have unloading area and a small lot right at the hotel that fills up, but they have another large parking lot about a block away which always had spots available. The hotel pool was really nice. There were plenty of lounge chairs and a waitress came around to take drink orders. Also you can walk right out of the hotel onto the boardwalk or onto the beach. All in all, we really enjoyed our time staying here at Ocean City.

Good location on the boardwalk with an amazing cafe on the ground level! The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable! The only issues were the limited area for parking, and that most of the outlets in the room didn't work or only worked sometimes. Other than that, we had a great stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable place on the boardwalk and beside the beach.

The Plim Plaza is a great old beach hotel. Not the place if you’re looking for super luxury and room service, but a perfect place for a clean room with clean towels, a fridge & microwave to spend time when you’re not on the beach or enjoying OC restaurants or entertainment. It has a really nice pool too.

Location was great. View was great. The windows were extremely dirty, even in the hallways. Very tiny room. Not everything was open yet, probably because we weren't in peak season yet. Title: Great staff and location, but cleanliness let us down

The staff here were fantastic when we had an issue with our first room — they quickly moved us to another one the next night, no hassle. However, the lack of cleanliness was hard to overlook. Our first room smelled strongly of mold, was visibly dirty, and had noticeable fluids on the mirrors and fixtures. The bathroom had urine stains and other people’s hairs in the shower. On top of that, the AC didn’t work.

The second room was better, but still just okay — not as clean as it should be. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is great, and the on-site restaurant and bar were a lot of fun. The crab balls were awesome!

If you plan to stay here, I’d highly recommend requesting a room on the 5th floor that’s already been renovated. The staff will try to help, but the housekeeping needs serious improvement.

The hotel rooms were severely dated. The wall paper was coming off at the edges. The curtains appeared to have never been changed since they first went up. The parking lot was 2 blocks away, with little to no security. The pictures they andvertise and the realness of the rooms are not even close. Save your money and sanity and don’t stay here.

Check in was easy, gentleman was kind. There looked to be workers sleeping on the couches which was surprising. I was happy to have a beach view from my window. That was a plus. However, in room 319 the left window would not stay open. The windows were dirty. Room was small and outdated. The room looked like it has never been dusted. Build up on windows, toilet paper holder, headboards. Hair in tub and on toilet. Bed was hard. On the plus side, GREAT location. I did enjoy the rocking chairs.

Upon arrival the room was left a with ozone/enzyme machine running for smells maybe previous guest smoked. I could tell the room wasn’t checked after “cleaning” by staff. Also parking is horrible. Especially on the weekends. Good place if your on budget or a college kid.. I personally will never stay in this location again unfortunately.

Great view, a little noisy on the oceanside, because of the boardwalk. Parking to unload and load was a bit much. People that were handcapped were able to park under the hotel, which was to be for loading and unloading. We parked 2 blocks away. Now we know the next time. In the center of everything. Once parked we didnt move car.

Just be careful when booking. Some rooms are really small. Bathroom was small and no safety bars to get in and out of tub (one of reason we left early). No charging ports (USB Ports) for charging cell phones. Because our room was so small, there no chairs or place for computer (no table).. On the plus side, location is good (hotel is on boardwalk), nice big front porch to sit and see ocean and people watch, elevator was fast and there is restaurant attached to hotel.

Loved the location of the hotel as it is very close to everything and on the boardwalk. Parking is very annoying as there were limited spots on-site at the hotel but they had an overflow lot up the street. The walk from the overflow lot was about a block away which wasn't too bad, but it was slightly annoying. The hotel definitely needs a face lift as it does appear to be old and run-down for the price that they charge. The rooms are also extremely small so it is only good for a short stay, I would not stay here for a longer trip (week). I do love that they have a deck on the boardwalk with chairs to sit out and look at the ocean. The staff was nice and our housekeeper was very friendly and helpful in guiding us to the best restaurants in town. Overall it was not bad as we stayed for a weekend and they had a pool, but not sure if I would choose the hotel again.

Stay was good. Room was smaller than what I thought/expected. The room and hotel is older and a little dated, but it was clean and welcoming overall. The price was much higher than usual due to the local events occurring this weekend and proximity to the events. Staff was good. Room was clean. Our view was of the pool side/bar. Parking was a little tough but a guaranteed spot is reserved nearby if the main lot is full.
