The staff is awesome the room was clean and perfect beach front views and no problems with parking, we had our french bull dog with us and he was treated like a king. I would recommend staying at paradise plaza.

Staff was very nice and helpful , the room and most of the hotel was outdated , I mentioned to the front desk that the A/C in the room wasn't working 4 times before they put a mobile unit in the room , the phone didn't work so I had to go to the desk to talk to someone. The location was great , we might try it again if it gets some upgrades.

The good: The check-in process and front office people were very nice.

The bad: room 809 room never got below 77 degrees. Most of the time it was 80+ degrees even at night. The temp outside the 2 nights i was there never went over 78.
They attempted to fix it to no success, but they were able to fix the elevator ac. The second maintenance guy the tried to gas light me by saying the thermostat was wrong, guess my sweat was wrong as well.

The balcony i have mixed feelings about. They do not have dividers between rooms, just a 4 foot iron fence. If you book with a bunch of people with rooms all together its cool. If you just want to chill in privacy its not there.

No air conditioning! We spent the night sleeping in an 80 degree room. Maintenance was quick to assist and stated they \"reset\" but the room remained at 80 degrees. Very miserable night.

The room was clean and the staff was great. It could use a bit of maintenance/updating but overall it was very good. We booked the standard room with queen beds/city view. The balcony we had was on the side so we had views the ocean, the city, and the bay on the other side of the island. The location was great as it was right on the boardwalk. We didnt use any amenities so can't comment on that and the on-site restaurant was closed for renovation. We would definately go back. Dont have pics of room inside but do have of view.

Staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby were convenient, as was the adjoining Sunsations store, which offered a 10% discount to those who were staying in the hotel. The gentleman in the Sunsations store was so sweet and one could tell he really enjoyed his job. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and the beach view was really nice. Our room was clean, but the bathroom could use some updating (there was a tile missing on the wall). The sliding door to our balcony was broken. Staff were very attentive in looking at this, although they were sent the wrong piece to fix it. We did have a bar that also kept the door in place for safety. Parking was convenient and without issues. We would stay here again, as we also liked the location of it on the boardwalk.

We have stayed here many, many times. I will not be returning. They seem to be trying to “upgrade” the place. New paint (over old damage) new furniture in the rooms (I have been in my back brace since we got home a week ago, from the “new beds” that are hard as rocks and already lumpy, they claim to be “pet friendly” but now charge $20 PER PET PER NIGHT! They do NOT offer a pet relief area or poop bags, so I’m not sure what the outrageous fee is for! They also now charge $15 per night parking. I’m assuming because they added some rocks and a few new plants??? We left a day early because we spent 3 nights in pain and not being able to sleep. Also, there is no longer a refund if you check out early, NO MATTER HOW MUCH NOTICE YOU GIVE THEM. I’m not sure if this is new management or ownership but it’s really a bummer that we basically lost our favorite spot. The pain I am suffering is pretty bad but aside from that I will take my extra $55 per night and find a better hotel. Thanks for the memories and for ruining my birthday this year.

Not only the beaches where I need be for the rest of my life, it was so comforting to have the clean room, the each and every clerk at the desk was superior. I didn't get one lady's name African American with long hair but I know Susan and I know Melanie come on girls and there's another African-American girl but she's a little shorter tell them I am in all of their customer service and hospitality. I teach customer service and hospitality so when I walk into an establishment you know I'll be having my fingers crossed. But I am clapping my hands thank you thank you so much for your patience your guidance and just being real thank you only thing I can say is I need a stove and a big refrigerator that's all I need a sweet and Paradise inn The view is amazing of course thank you thank you ladies thank you so much.

It’s an older hotel so don’t expect the Ritz! Most properties are getting run down due to age. OC is not what it used to be, I’m from OC NJ and our boardwalk is 100 times better and longer! It’s sad how run down everything looked but we had a good time!

Shower barely puts any water out . Refrigerator never got cold. Balcony door was broken. Staff were extremely nice overall the property is just letting people stay here and it’s ran down . You had a better chance of washing in the ocean than you did in the shower . Would not recommend .

The room wasn’t dirty but everything was broken. The heat did not work, the doorknobs were falling off, the balcony door did not lock, there was a big TV mount on the wall with no TV on it, the mini fridge froze and exploded all our drinks, etc.
The staff were really talkative and kind, the beach view was partial obstructed as described but was absolutely fine! Parking was easy but they didn’t even ask if we wanted parking, they just automatically charged us for it and gave us a windshield tag.

Great oceanfront room. However, the beds were like bricks, the pillows were awful, the internet did not work and the tv was continually offline. We have stayed here every year for past 5 years. First time we were charged for parking and our dogs. We got there an hour early and were also charged $50 for “early check in”. Couldn’t dispute that as we had 2 dogs with us and did better in the drive putting us there early. What I thought was 4 days at $275 ended up being $500. And this was off-season. They did improvements, which were ok but the beds were so awful, no one could sleep.

Beautiful and spacious room with an amazing view of the ocean.
But I really didn’t like the $15 parking charge when there is plenty of free parking spots next block. We stayed there off season. If I didn’t just spend 4 hours in the car with whining kids, I wouldn’t pay but they caught me off guard. Not fair parking policy in my opinion

Checked the in for the ice skating, pool and hot tub. There was a cheerleading conference going on that weekend, so we decided we would wait and use those Sunday when it emptied out. On Sunday they closed the pool and hot tub early, around 8pm. Those are not open Monday through Wednesday either. Don’t stay here during the week in the winter.

We had no heat and I was with my 91 year old father who is always cold the staff did get us space heaters but they kept tripping the breaker so I had to keeping going down to the front desk , they all where very friendly and did there best to make him comfortable the room we stayed in was right above the bar and very noisy most of the night so I didn’t sleep very well at all . The property is in poor condition. This may have been the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in terms of room quality and cleanliness. Upon arrival, I had to request a new room because both the sliding door and room door wouldn’t close properly. The bed sheets were dirty, and the shower had not been cleaned. While the front desk staff was very helpful in arranging a room change, the replacement room was not much better.

Great spot in Ocean City

I loved having a peekaboo view to the water from my large balcony. Wonderful ocean sounds. The room was comfortable and quiet. Style/decor is a little bit dated, but it did not bother me at all. There was a refrigerator, a sink, a microwave and a coffee maker, which I would have utilized more if I had stayed longer. It was a very short walk to Oceans Calling and is in the middle of everything. Plus, I appreciate that they have a bar/restaurant within the inn that’s open late. I would return if given the opportunity.

Our 1st time at Paradise Plaza & we were pleasantly surprised. The oceanfront room was very spacious as was the bathroom. The view was amazing. The location was great.
There is a 10% discount at Sunsations if you present your room key.
Will definitely return.

I love this property. It is in a prime location on the boardwalk with oceanfront rooms. Pet friendly too. It’s not a dive like most spots on the boardwalk. My only complaints are there is no grass nearby for pets to relieve themselves. And my AC went out in my room and after multiple maintenance visits they finally switched my room which was super inconvenient but things happen. I asked a manager to contact me for maybe a refund for one night but never heard anything back (shocker).

Had third floor ocean view balcony. Loved the view, and hotel location to the boardwalk. The room door handle had issues, but would work after a few attempts. We discovered that room service does not clean the room unless asked to. No biggie as we were only there three days. Overall we had a nice time there, and it seemed better maintained since our last stay there a couple of years ago.

I did not like area around the pool, very messy. Also, the bathroom in the pool area had a trip hazard (extension cord), very unsafe.
The sliding door in our room was rough...it was a workout to close it, and when you did close it from the outside you had to be careful because your finger would get smashed in it.
Could not use the couch in the room, because when you sat on it you sank down so far it became uncomfortable.
Did like that the floor was tile and not carpet.

We love this place for our OC Trips. Last year, we stayed somewhere else and immediately regretted not booking here.

The staff is very friendly, and they create a great environment around the property. The balconies are a nice size to sit and hang out on.

Parking is first come first serve, but it's a very walkable.

My wife and I did a one night visit with our dog. Hotel was good, the staff was great. They got put us in a fine room with nice roof deck, and we were able to purchase a late check out. Worked out very well. We will be back for one of our many beach visits.
