Pros: The staff were kind and helpful. Located right on Orchard Road, so very close to everything especially the MRT.

Con’s: The hotel amenities in the Superior room that I was assigned to were lacking. The tub was somewhat rusty, shower pressure was poor, the shower curtain had unknown gunk stuck to it, no robes provided, the air conditioner seems to not be working at 18C and the ongoing construction outside was too loud to ignore even past 6pm.

It was my favourite hotel in Singapore but this time I arrived and they started up selling me - I paid the extra but after a days travel I realised the upgrade was blah - if you want to take my money for an upgrade me give me more options - give me club room options..... was I not good enough?

So I upgraded and then got a room similar to my last stay which had the club room access - I would have liked to be thought of for such things

Amazing stay! We had 2 beautiful rooms for our family of 5. Staff were very helpful. Beautiful hotel and the pool was awesome with comfy day beds to relax in while the kids swam. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, transit. So convenient. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

We had a rough start at check in. I booked 2 rooms, 1 for me and the other room for my sister who was scheduled to arrive the day after my arrival. My check in was at midnight. Upon going up to my room, I discovered there was construction next door and the boom was literally in front of my window. The room was a forgotten remodel that was never completed. A big cut out at the wall behind the toilet and was recklessly patched. A hole on the sliding glass door where a handle was previously removed and someone could see from the outside of the bathroom to the inside. The TV was showing a welcome sign that was not my name! Talk about welcoming hospitality when they could not even get your name straight. I called the front desk immediately upon check in to request for a different room. I was told that it is not possible at the time of the night (3am) and will request for a change of room in the morning. Went down for breakfast and I realized I had booked 2 rooms and was only given 1 room during check in. I could have had the choice to use the other room had it been given to me upon check in since I have already paid for the 2 rooms. Nevertheless, the room that I was originally in was unacceptable due to the construction next door. The manager on duty was able to switch us to another room facing the pool. I believe the manager was not even aware of the condition of the room because she asked me for a photo. After that, we had a comfortable stay.

The proximity to bus stops and MRT is a big plus. With my medication condition which requires extra help, the staff are accommodating, always polite and with a smile on their face.
A minor issue is the room is always very cold even though the thermostat shows 29C.
Overall my stay is very pleasant.

Fabulous hotel, great location on Orchard Rd, about a 7 min walk from the MRT. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops to eat at varying prices along Orchard Rd e.g. Starbucks, McDonalds, Shake Shack...and lots of different restaurants for a nice meal. Hotel was great and the staff were friendly. They kindly gave me an upgrade on arrival as we were celebrating 2 big birthday's so we had a higher room with a pool view. Pool was lovely with pool towels available......would have been great to have more sun loungers, but it wasn't overly busy so didn't impact us too much. We used the on sight laundry facility which was in expensive and convenient and meant we could pack less clothes. Would stay again and would recommend.

We spent 2 nights here - 23-25/12/2025 (over Christmas)

Positives
- It did exactly what we needed it to - a room to stay while we spent Christmas in Singapore - we were mostly out and about.
- Location is great for Orchard Road - away from the hustle but right on the doorstep
- Facilities were good - we used the gym and pool and then later found it had a Naturaland spa upstairs (didn't get to use it however)
- Good room size - we were in a family room
- Probably good value considering the location and proximity to Orchard

Negatives
- We moved rooms as our first one had hardly any light and a small window to a wall
- Service was mixed. First night we asked for an upgrade (were happy to pay) to be told there was no availability. The next day (different person) we asked to be moved as our room was so dark and they easily found us a room (implication was there were a few rooms free)
- Same guy as first night - when we enquired about breakfast he told us there were so many places just outside, no point in eating at the hotel (he mentioned McDonald's). Not sure what their breakfast was like so we did eat just around the corner at another hotel which had a great buffet breakfast

I checked in on thursday 8th Jan at about 7pm and was given a sub standard room (room 840) that looked like a forsaken room in a far away wing of the hotel. We are repeat cutomers having stayed here 3 times in the past 9 months. We were not told that the room is far away from the usual rooms and had a flight of steps. It certainly did not look like a normal hotel room we have stayed anywhere. We had 2 big bags and my husband just had a shoulder surgery. We could not lift the bags up those flight of steps. Luckily a young lady guest who was also in the same area helped get those bags up. That night we followed up with Clyde at front desk and he was excellent in customer service. He promised to get us a proper room the next day and also moved our bags across while we were out. Clyde helped make up for the poor service of the lady who checked us in. With Clyde's service standard, we will return to this hotel else, we would not return. Please thank Clyde for his superb service. Highly commendable!

Rated as a 4* property but personally think there are better 4* properties in Singapore.
The size of the room was good but the overall quality and furnishings were a little dated.
The Swimming Pool was large in size but had pretty limited seating for users.
Location is ok, good for those wanting the shopping experience of Orchard Road but quite far away from Marina Bay Sands locality.

Improved Connectivity from Parking to Lobby We recommend enhancing the safety and convenience of the route from the parking area to the main lobby, especially for guests unloading baggage. The current path involves navigating several steps and crossing traffic from the multi-storey car park, which requires extra caution.
Toilet Hygiene Enhancements For improved hygiene and guest comfort, we suggest installing bidets in the toilets. The absence of this feature makes it inconvenient, as guests resort to using containers, which can lead to wet floors and discomfort.
Toilet Paper Quality We also recommend upgrading the quality of toilet paper provided. A softer and more durable option would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

A great choice

Choosing a hotel among the myriad on offer in Singapore can be a shot in the dark, so we had no idea before staying what it would be like. Our two short stays at the Orchard Rendezvous in the space of 3 weeks however have made sure this will be an easy choice the net time we visit the country. The staff were invariably friendly, polite and professional. On our second stay, we were given a room that, although comfortable, spacious and clean, had no daylight, so when we requested a change the front desk staff went to the length of upgrading us to a higher category room as there was no availability in the category we had booked. Details like that made our stay a real pleasure. Combined with the very convenient location for both shopping and walking around the Botanic Gardens, the close proximity of buses and MRT station AMD the excellent service, this hotel seems pretty ideal as a base to see Singapore from.

Rooms are a bit dated and we had to wait approximately 10 minutes for hot water to come through for showers. Apart from feeling like we are wasting water it was ok. All in all it is a nice place to stay and great location. We would return.

Room was a bit outdated or at least the room design but bed was comfortable with amenities such as mini fridge and kettle with tea and coffee. Nice swimming pool. There is currently ongoing construction nearby which can be noisy during the day. Note we got a lower price room on the lower floors which could explain the experience since an acquaintance of ours had the higher price and floor ones and have a better room experience.

The toilet is not ideal, slippery bathtub and fixed point showerhead. Aircon was also not cold even at the maximum setting. A bit of a musk in the room. There was no city view. Room size is pretty good and the bed was pretty good though. Pool area is nice.

We booked for 4 nights but left after 2.
Room was old, musty and appeared to have black mould in the ac unit. Rising damp in hall and out room. This seems to be due to the cheap bathroom renovations that hve been done.
The duty manager was incredible. She worked so hard for us, found a new room and upgraded our stay. This new room was lovely. Unfortunately the staff are incompetent at best.. bat staff talking loudly to on face time and had to be asked to turn it down or preferably take it off speaker. Following morning we waited pool side and no one was about. Went to reception for one manager to tell us we don’t service the pool whilst another said they did.
A gentleman named David then appeared yelling across the pool for us to order food on the phone (which was disconnected!)

Hotel has offered to refund us which is a nice effort and appreciated.
Given this hotels location please expect more and stay elsewhere so they do something about it.

Room is spacious, bed is very comfortable. Water pressure is good.location is good. Convenient. Service is good. Cabinet area big enough to put in luggage.

Cons:
Balcony paint is peeling off, poor sound proof as can hear the corridor sound and other room flushing system. The fridge/ mini bar is not functioning. Our wine has been placed for 5 hours and it’s not chilled. The tv ain’t smart tv, hence if u used the hdmi cable, we are unable to convert to tv. Lastly, it’s so eco friendly that we got to drink water from the toilet basin. Pretty uncomfortable experience for a hotel in orchard that can’t afford filtered water nor bottled water.

This hotel needs some minor to major interior renovations. The pipes needs some serious work because you cannot let the water run when brushing your teeth - the water doesn’t go down as fast - it takes a while. The bed was so uncomfortable, as if sleeping on a cardboard box. The bathrooms need some freshening up - it just looked really ran down. Location is great though since it’s in the beginning of Orchard Road which is the shopping haven, and walkable to lots of shopping and restaurants.
