Great World Residence Singapore

The staff are very friendly and professional and caring and thoughtful. They aim to please you. A shout out to Peter Carmen at the Service Desk and Jean as the Housekeeping Supervisor. They went above and beyond to help their guests enjoy their stay.

Brilliant!

Absolutely excellent home from home in Singapore. They’ve thought of everything - nothing more you could ask for. Great location and definitely the friendliest staff we’ve ever experienced. Spacious and very comfortable one bed apartment with two bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen.

A Serviced Apartment Par Excellence

When I thought it's a serviced apartment, I was thinking just that. But I was wrong! Our stay here was better than some hotels around the world which we have stayed before. Not only is there a full sized swimming pool but also gym, and other play areas. Service is really good - from the sales team, security personnel, counter staff and house-keeping staff.
The apartment is well connected to the mall next door without walking in the open too.
Will definitely come back if even we want another staycation.

GWSA was one of the best places I have stayed, the room and facilities were fabulous. It was clean and we had everything we needed..even a balcony which is rare to get. My favorite feature was the 41mtr pool, this is unusually large for holiday accommodation. The staff were amazing and I cannot fault it at all. The gym was good and all the lifts were working which is rare. Highly recommend booking a stay there, its very central and with the shopping centre next door everything is at your fingertips. I recommend trying a serviced apartment over a hotel, you just get more space and its not a busy and cheaper, GWSA gets a huge tick in my books, would happily stay there again.

Just finished a one week stay with family. Apartment was spacious and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best of all the property is located within steps of a large shopping and food complex. Also the swimming pool was huge. The only suggestion would be having cleaning wipes placed in the fitness center. I would definitely recommend this property.

Liked:- comfortable and roomy 3 bedroom apartment, with large fridge and working aircon.
Disliked:- no icetrays in fridge to make ice for drinks.
No basic food items such as sugar, milk, teabags and coffee to make a hot drink, unusual for the high price we pay for the accommodation.
Room service only twice a week, we ran out of toilet paper, two rolls for 4 people to share.

The apartment suited our needs very well with two bedrooms and bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Services were very good and the pool & gym facilities were excellent. I was connected to a good shopping mall with restaurants etc. Perhaps the only downside is that it is currently a bit of a way from the nearest MRT although one is under construction to serve the shopping mall. However taxis work very well in Singapore so it wasn't a problem.

Fantastic location

After spending time in Singapore last year we decided to go back and take the kids. This location is fantastic for everything in Singapore. Zion food is across the road for cheap eats and the room was like being at home. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting self contained accommodation!!

Great facilities, clean & family friendly

After a disappointing stay and travel from JB. Was pleasently surprised when we arrived here. We were warmly greeted with quick check in and option for representative to cone in and explain how things work and a run down of room facilities which was helpful.
Room was extremely clean, modern and very spacious. Was good option for kids with kitchen facilities and laundry.
Pool or should I say pools enjoyed by all again clean and well maintained. Having direct access to shopping center was fantastic and maccas very handy :) had a good variety of shops and money changer
Free shuttle to orchard Rd was also great
Staff very friendly and helpful, overall was a great stay especially for families would definitely recommend

Good for family, clean and easy to get around with the shuttle service available if you do not want to pay, else Taxi is available anytime of the day. Central of Singapore , 5 minutes from Orchard Road by car, 10 minutes to Sentosa, any other places is within 30 Minutes as Singapore is a very small place.
Super Market is just down stair, Famous Chicken Rice is 5 minutes walk away, Hawker Center across the Road.
If you want to experience the Michelin Dinning, Paragon is 5 Minutes away by Car, The local Bar Chor Mee is at China Town.
Night Life is not far away as well....
Within the Apartment, Oven, Micro wave Oven stove, coffee maker and washing machine plus dryer is all in the apartment.
Swimming Pool and even separate Sauna Room at the pool deck with a small Bistro for food and drinks.

Happy family appartment

The appartment was clean, and spacious, but unfortunately over the Cninese New Year period my appartment was not clean for 4 days, but I was able to get clean linens & towels on request, the staff was very friendly ,courteous and helpful, nothing was too troublesome, would recommend to anybody with a family , if the price is right, I would go there again, thanks GW Appt.

Enjoyed 9 days with family. Well located near orchard rd and clark quay. Free shuttle bus to ochard rd was a great bonus. Pool kept in perfect condition and great for a dip at end of a days sightseeing.

Great place for a family to stay in Singapore.

We stayed at Great Word Apartments for 9 nights and we're very happy. The apartment itself which was a 3 bedroom located on the 5th floor was quite luxurious, fantastic size, impeccably clean and all the amenities you could ask for. The pool was very large and beautifully kept. The kids play areas were good. They check the temperature of the kids each time they enter to ensure no sickness gets spread. The location is great. It is not in walking distance of an MRT station but the shuttle at Great World City shopping centre leaves every 30 minutes to either Orchard Rd or Chinatown where the MRT is located. We used the shuttle every day. Another plus is the grocery supermarket in the shopping centre below and lots of shops and restaurants. Finally the Zion Rd Hawkers Markets directly opposite the apartments were brilliant and do cheap. Dinner and drink for 2 adults, 2 kids each night costs total $25. So yummy. As Great World City site has been around for a long time all the taxi drivers know where it is too which is great. Highly recommend the apartments as a great place to stay in beautiful Singapore.

Great Place

Our apartment was very spacious and clean. We were impressed with the facilities such as the pool. My children loved it. There is even an indoor play area for the kids. It was very big and well maintained.
The free shuttle bus run to Chinatown and Orchard Road was very convenient as there was 6 of us.
It was connected to the Great World Shopping Centre. Awesome shops and lots of eateries to choose from. Definitely go back.
The service was excellent and always polite and willing to assist.

A word of caution re nearby availability of places to eat other than in the shopping centre. Choice is limited.

Great apartment close to everything.

Clean, well equipped, spacious apartment next door to the mall. Has a supermarket which is handy for things like breakfast staples. Great variety of restaurants and a number of shops to spend time in. Also a movie theatre.
Taxis are so easy to get in Singapore and thus hotel is central to most things tourists want to do. Great big pool, saunas, steam room and well equipped gym.
Great venue to stay.

Perfect in so many ways

It is hard to find fault with Great World Serviced Apartments in Singapore. Our room was beautifully furnished in that classic modern Asian way. Lots of marble style tiles in floors and walls. It was rather spacious with a well equipped kitchen, sizeable bathroom with another en-suite to the main bedroom, plenty of air-conditioning to all rooms, big TV’s with cable channels, very good wifi and a small outdoor area with a washing machine and dryer. The location is very good. High above a large shopping centre with everything from departments stores, fashion, food and a large supermarket. Outside in Zion Road are plenty of restaurants and a good food centre. Buses depart to all parts of the island and the Orchard / Scotts Road intersection is within walking distance providing easy access to the centre of Singapore shopping. One can also walk along the Singapore River to all the entertainment areas. A huge pool, jacuzzis, gym, children’s playground, guest lounge, library and business centre are available. The staff, without exception, are friendly, helpful and courteous. It is really hard to find fault. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great place to stay with a young family

We are a family of 5 and stayed in a 3 bedroom apt. The staff were all nice and helpful. The accommodation and facilities were all clean and well maintained. The kids loved the huge pool. Great World shopping centre was conveniently just at our doorstep for food and necessities. The place was also only a very short taxi or free shuttle ride to Orchard Rd for some serious retail therapy. The only con were the beds which were too hard for our liking. Overall, the place is great for a short stay with family and would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Singapore.

A pleasant experience

We were at GW apartments for a week but quickly realised that on our more extended return visits to S'pore this is where we will stay .The apartment was clean quiet and surprisingly large.The staff were efficient and charmingly polite. I can unhesitatingly recommend this place.

Nice facilities (pool, fitness center, resident's lounge). Noisy in public spaces (no A/C in hallways and the building sits between 2 major roads) and the noise penetrates the living areas of the apartment. Very nice apartment which looked almost brand new. Good laundry in apartment.

長期滞在なので初めてサービスアパートを利用しました。初めはホテルとのサービスの違いにビックリしましたが洗濯機やキッチン用品もあり長期には大変便利でした。また全てのスタッフも感じが良く
本当に親切で気持ちが良かったです。
ただ、最後の1日だけ掃除に来た2人のスタッフはそれまでの来てくれていたスタッフとは違う人で、感じが悪く、洗い物をする為に用意したゴム手袋の中には水が溜まり使えない状態だったり、帰る時にも一言もなく娘がリビングのソファーに座って本を読んでいるのを知っていながら電気を消し部屋を暗くして出ていったりと最後にして残念な気持ちにさせられてしまいました。それを除けば長期滞在時にはまた使わせて頂きたいと思えるサービスアパートでした。

Stayed with 3 teenagers in a 3 bedroom apartment. Nicely equipped and clean apartments. Very friendly and always helpful staff. Excellent gym and a 50m pool! The mall right next to the apartment provides a wide selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Great place to also stay for a longer period of time

지하에 마트와 대형 식당이 있고, 연결된 쇼핑몰에서 오차드나 차이나타운, 레드힐로 30-60분마다 무료 셔틀 버스를 운행하여 편리합니다. 시내 중심가나 지하철역에서 가깝지 않은 것이 단점이지만, 셔틀버스로 더 편하게 무료로 다닐 수 있습니다.
수영장도 매우 크고 피트니스 시설도 괜찮은 편이라, 운동하기에도 좋고, 작은 아이들을 위한 놀이방도 갖추고 있어 아이들과 투숙하기 좋습니다.
