Room was reasonably sized and equipped with amenities (wish there was a microwave option and the TWG and Bacha coffees were a plus!). We traveled as a family with infant and staff were super attentive and friendly. Location was perfect close to all the main shops at Orchard.

Good kitchenette hotel on Orchard road attached to Paragon mall. However on 1 day of our 3 night stay, they were doing annual electric maintenance. It was not mentioned at booking or confirmation, only when we arrived. That meant no wifi, no AC and also intermittent elevator service (we were on 13th floor) from 10-17:00. When I contacted management regarding how inappropriate this was (I was charged full cost) the response was that they would pay for transport for me and my 2 young kids return trip. That’s it, no compensation, no apology - just that it’s annual maintenance and maybe it will come back earlier. That’s simply not acceptable at this price point. I need to work (wifi) and I also chose the hotel for its central location so my kids could nap/ get AC midday. I can’t recommend them at all. Many other hotels at this price point which provide excellent service

It is a very good location, ideal for people who may need to stay near Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
I had a single room for two night business trip. The AC spews out air directly to the bed, making it very cold when I sleep. On the first night, there was some issue with the shower where there is no hot water but this was fixed. the next day.

Great location, nice clean rooms and facilities. Overall it is an amazing property with a convenient location if you want to access Orchard roads shopping district or the Mt Elizabeth Hospital which is behind the Paragon Mall.

Only down side ( but a major one) during the stay was- the guest in the next room was probably smoking in his room, and after complaining about it multiple times the only solution provided by the hotel staff was a tiny air purifier in the hall way. It's not difficult to find out if someone was smoking in their room, our room and floor was non smoking so no one should be smoking there. Upon further enquiry the closes smoking area was in Heeran ( a building that was a 3-5 minutes walk away.

The hotel staff did nothing about resolving this issue, apparently they were not sure who was smoking- its not rocket science- it shouldn't be that difficult to figure out as there are only a few rooms per floor.

There was no hot water 85 percent of my stay. Complained twice, first time they implied that i did not know how to use controls, second time they had me run the kitchen tap, sink tap and shower controls continuously for 5 to 10 minutes before taking a shower. This only worked 15 percent of the time. Otherwise i love the hotel.

Service was professional and thoughtful. When the coffee machine in my room didn't work and I called the front desk, hotel staff came and fixed that almost immediately. The day of my checkout, the team ordered my taxi at 4:45 a.m. and called my room at 4:30 to check if I needed help with the luggage. Room is clean and up to date. Location is great with walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and public transit.

Almost perfect but a couple things..

Location, service, property condition was great. Only detractors were the slight odor in the hallways and the lack of regulation of the AC. Could not attain a comfortable temperature. It was either freezing cold or too hot. Was constantly turning off the AC when it got too cold.

Hotel and room very clean with daily service which was great. Breakfast was included which was very adequate. Pool area big and was able to swim laps. Daily newspaper was available in the lobby. Small kitchenette was great to have though would have been good to have some written instructions for microwave. Convenience to major shopping was wonderful and there was a walkover bridge from the hotel right into a mall - very nice when raining.

The room is too small, air conditioning blows directly to the bed and in my friend's room the room was freezing even she put the temperature at 24. Water heater didn't work properly. We paid as much as the room in ordinary hotel but didn't get the same service as what get usually in hotels. The category of room we stayed was studio, but it's actually a de luxe or basic room in hotels. In general, this property is a disappointment. However, we stayes there in 2 br suite 2 years ago. It was quite nice. To me, the studios category rooms are not recommendable. Better stay in hotels.

Disappointing stay. The \"suites\" are 30sqm which is the size of a 4 star hotel, but the room rate was at serviced apartment levels.The staff were disinterested and unhelpful. The room was worn and the shoe rack for the next door room unhygienic. I would not recommend staying at this accommodation.

Hotel was superb. But front desk staffs were not honest, irresponsible. Supervisors inefficient, can’t really settle problems. Wasted my 2 hours and in the end say they can’t do anything. Their staff was at fault but they cover it up for her just because they don’t want to settle a simple problem. Such a big hotel telling guests there is nothing they can do? LMAO ~

Room was perfect, bathroom was spacious and clean. check was fuss free and quick. Housekeeper provided us with sufficient waters and cleaning supplies as we chose not to clean up for our room.

Swimming pool only have 4 people and we get to have a lot of room to swin around.

Room: Level 5 with microwave oven and bathtub (can't remember name of room)

Pros:
1) Excellent location - just behind Paragon Shopping Centre. Carpark level P3 has a link bridge to Paragon.
2) Clean and modern room. Room amenities are well stocked and replenished. 4 bottles of water. Tea and coffee with nespresso and nespresso capsules. Many TV channels to browse and watch. Screen mirroring available for NetFlix.
3) Toiletries are provided. Dental and shaving kit. Body wash, shampoo, body lotion and conditioner provided. Clean towels and clean bathtub. Water flow is strong. Hot water is readily available. Bathtub can be filled up in less than 5 minutes. Rain shower included.
4) 4 pillows + 2 huge pillows given
5) Power Points on both sides of bed so we don't have to quarrel. :p

Cons:
1) Breakfast not provided. However, there is a Kith cafe downstairs at level 1. Kith cafe menu provided in room.
2) Waiting time for check in was long. I was given a check in time at 2.30pm - 3pm. I reached at 4.15pm but waited till 5pm before I was given a room. And i had already pre-registered via email sent to me.
Note: Carpark is on 22 Bideford road. Go to level P4 for hotel lobby level. It's behind Cairnhill road and the entrance of the carpark is right beside a mosque on the right side of the road. If you stay for 2 nights, the $10 nett parking coupon purchased at the hotel front desk is definitely recommended (one time exit).

Great place to stay in the middle of Orchard road with lots of shops and restaurants. Loved the spacious 1-bedroom apartment, nice and clean with access to Paragon shopping mall by covered walking bridge. Only 2 minuses, if you want to dry your hair the closest plug to the bathroom with the mirror is too far away and no safe in the apartment.

despite next to the downtown busy road, inside Ascott remains perfectly silent and very relaxing, comfortable and staff were very helpful.
They provide plates, bowl, oven and full set of cutlery which really convenient for us

Recommend hotel to provide complimentary parking for guests, and please dont park the wrong car park if you are driving there, there are 2 car park entrance.

Perfect in every ways.

Ascott Orchard just feels perfect in every ways. There's plenty of shopping, dining options and entertainment within reach. Although it's nestled right in the center of busy Orchard Road, you could still feel the peach and tranquility as it's located away from the main road.
The apartment is beautifully designed with contemporary-cool and modern-luxe decor. Besides having a well-quipped kitchen, our unit also comes with a dishwasher and a laundry machine which makes essential cleaning really user-friendly.
Absolutely love the bathroom with deep-soaking tub. Will definitely return again soon.

I was disappointed as I did not know the kitchenette mentioned in the executive studio doesn't not include a stove as it only applicable to one/two bedroom units. Furthermore, there's malfunctioning of the air cond over the night, but no one came to fix it nor follow-up with a call about the status. So forced to stuck in the room with no air ventilation. It was a real bad night! However, over the kitchenette issue, the customer service offered a rice cooker as a solution since they said that's their structure of the room and ignored the description I mentioned on the room description under hotels.com.

Reception was friendly, efficient and ever helpful.
The facilities were beautiful, the place was absolutely spotless.
The link bridge to Paragon was very convenient and a huge selling point in choosing this place! Loads of food and shopping around.
Construction was ongoing, which we were nervous about, but sound did not transmit to our apartment at all.
Would stay here again and recommend other people to stay here if looking to shop, while also within walking distance of two MRT stations.

If you want to stay in Ascott please stay at Ascott Raffles instead of Ascott Orchard. The room cleanliness was terrible, table was not wipe, pillows were extremely dusty and had to be put away and the floor was extremely sticky. Felt like it has not been mop for a year. Uncomfortable to walk bare feet in the room due to the sticky floor. The swimming pool was FILL with STRONG CHLORINE. I and my guest got sick on New year itself while swimming in the pool on new year eve due to the extreme chlorine in pool. Stay at asscot raffles its way much better then asscot orchard.
