Everything was fabulous! Staff were super helpful, room was very comfortable and roomy and the bed was sumptuous. Just been by the pool and it was cool, refreshing and plenty of comfy beds around it. Check in very smooth and breakfast was top quality. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Singapore.

Just had one problem where hot water was coming out of the cold water outlets in the shower and sink.
Maintenance tried to fix it but didn’t get resolved before I gave up trying.

Very good location to the shopping malls. The room is clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable and pillows also very comfy to rest got your back when sitting on bed. But was too told to sleep for me. So I slept with folded towel.
The lift extremely busy and slow during breakfast time. We waited 40 mins one morning. They filled all guest from the upper floor so if you are staying lower(we were on 15) floor you have no room to fit inside the lift. They have 3 lifts and only 2 are working at the moment

We paid extra for the buffet breakfast, which had a great selection every morning, however on several occasions we were asked to pay, and at the end of our stay we were also given an invoice for the price of breakfast, although we had paid and showed this evidence several times. The rooms were nice and comfortable, however it was definitely difficult with only having three working elevators, even with the fourth in operation it seems as though it may not be enough.

Excellent location in the heart of Orchard Road, the main shopping street of Singapore. The hotel is literally a couple of minutes to the Orchard MRT/subway station.
That said, the property is a little aged and could do with an update. For example, it does not have any phone charging outlets in the room.

Excellent all around. Safe and Convenient to everything shopping, food, transportation and walkable to key sights along orchard road. Waited less that 5 mins for taxi or grab transportation to airport. Underground mall and walkways to Ion shopping center and MRT. Food and restaurants were excellent and open late for late night arrivals and dinner plans at Crossroads cafe/restaurants. Bell hop service was excellent and very helpful. bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable! Highly recommend and will be back. Thank you.

Found two cockroaches in restaurant (not a big deal, they happen) but when I told the chef who was stood there he just shrugged.

Also, no air con in lobby/lounge/corridors/bar etc

Air con unit in restaurant was huge big noisy machine that blew in your face.

Was travelling with party of about 30 colleagues. Everyone thought it was bad and overpriced.

The location of the hotel is good, and it is very convenient for guests to go shopping or taste food no matter they take public transportation. The front desk service is very kind, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. But there are a few small deficiencies provided to the hotel, hoping to improve better services. The first is that the socket equipment is a bit old, and it is actually a bit inconvenient to not have a USB socket (many hotels already have USB socket facilities), but fortunately we remembered to bring a plug. The second is to pay attention to the filling of bath products in the bathroom. I am used to washing my hair every day. I checked in on January 21. After washing my hair at night, I found that the conditioner could not be squeezed out, and it was already empty.

We were lucky to have a room facing Ion with the beautiful Christmas Lightings.
Service staff from reception to restaurant were attentive and friendly which made the stay very comfortable. A small room for improvement might be the breakfast selection could be a little tastier.

Bedroom lighting have weird allocation, there is this spotlight on the headboard which is annoying. Tap is too low for washing baby item and even fill the electric kettle.
Plug was faulty and the entrance to the room was too narrow. Room was directly fasting the lift which was very noisy. Overall I feel this hotel is not thoughtful at all, they knew we have a baby but still give us this noisy connecting room. Pushing pram and baby cot in was a challenge, horrible.
Breakfast service staff was horrible, took 40min to get my milk for coffee after 4 reminder, many item we order didn't came at all.

Encountered a massive 4hrs delay with the check-in upon arrival as the counters were packed with others who are also checking in, on-top the room weren’t ready. Staff were apologetic, compensated for the inconvenience and ensured sufficient service was rendered.

Expected more, little disappointed...

Had sewerage issues for 3 of 6 nights, notified management on day 1 and had instant email reply that issue would be addressed. Nothing done, till request for change of room on day 4, and had a different room for subsequent 3 nights. It would have been nice if management were more hands on or try to make up for the first 3 nights.
This is our second stay at Marriot Tang. Little disappointed.

We arrived on schedule and I attempted to check in. I was first served by Iz, I handed over our passports and explained I would appreciate if we could be checked in promptly. He asked where my kids were, when I pointed them out he told me the hotel policy did not allow two adults and 3 kids into a single room. I asked him to please check as I had booked two rooms. Shortly after he decided to go serve a different customer. No explanations, he just walked off. Next came Regina, all she was able to say was sorry I can’t do that nor that nor that. Just check back at 3pm and maybe we can get you a room by then. I was so shocked I decided to wait on the side and figure out which staff was more senior as reginas name tag also read trainee. (If a staff is unable to serve at the front desk please don’t let them stand there unattended) I managed to speak to another member of staff who told me we would get a connecting room by 6pm. Yes wait 6 hours with three young kids for your rooms. We left for lunch, i needed a break from dealing with the hotel staff. We returned at 3pm and I still didn’t have the energy to speak so a friend of mind went to speak to the staff instead. I waited on the side, where thankfully rohjana Iskandar saw me and asked me if she could help. We managed to get one room by this time. There was construction on orchard rd all night and I woke up wanting to just move. We paid over a thousand a night for both rooms so why burn the money? Tough it out mom, never return

For breakfast the side plates are no longer provided..... this means things like used tea bags and cutlery are laid directly on the table, making the table messy, and is less hygienic than placing them on a side plate.

The Club Lounge was a little tired and clinical but there was too much to explore outside of the hotel to really care.

It is a bargain to have free buffet breakfast for 3 mornings and free buffet dinner for one night. The room has a great city view. The only inconvenient part is that the pickup area is being crossed by a public sidewalk so every time you want to go to get a taxi or you alight a taxi and want to get back to the hotel you have to fight your way through the crowd of pedestrians passing in front of the door of the hotel.

In the beginning there were lots of confusions on the type of booking between Expedia and the hotel's reservation. The new staffs at the reception were not able to resolve the booking problem. Finally the duty manager and the reservation manager were able to help confirm my bookings correctly. I am satisfied.
The buffet breakfast was good and the Christmas diner buffet is excellent with generous serving of quality seafood like oysters and lobsters. The serving staffs was generous with the Proseco bubbly. For dessert the pistachio cream mini bun is the best.
My family enjoyed this dinner very much..! :)

A Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay in the Marriott. Rooms were very good & spacious. Buffet Dinner & High Tea was fresh and of a good variety.
The crossroads is a popular outside bar bistro. However if you are a smoker there is a smoking bar where you can sit down & enjoy your drink..... but it’s always taken by outside customers / passerby. Great location location location.
