Breakfast menu was probably one of the best I’ve had! Barring one rude staff member who told us he can’t sit around serving us all day when we asked for help with our flights in the midst of the Middle East conflict, the rest were so courteous, helpful and extremely polite!

4.5/5 overall! Would’ve given it 5 if it wasn’t for that rude staff member.

We held our wedding at The St. Regis Singapore 16 years ago, so returning for a staycation to celebrate our anniversary with our children felt incredibly nostalgic and special.

We were warmly welcomed by the reception team, who surprised our children with two St. Regis bears and prepared a lovely chocolate setup in our room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — from the automatic turndown curtains and ambient lighting in the evening, to the coffee and tea service, and the consistently attentive service throughout the hotel. The breakfast spread was excellent as well.

We hope to be back again soon.

This is a top choice in Singapur. High end category hotel. The only setback was the AC. It didn’t get cold a couple of times but the technical service arrived immediately and solved it, however I wasn’t expecting this from a St Regis. Management was kind and discounted a part of my room service bill as compensation

Excellent buffet breakfast. Nice outdoor pool. Luxurious and spacious rooms. Several restaurants in the property (Japanese, Steakhouse and Cantonese).

Located in a luxury neighborhood (Orchard).

I recommend it and would return.

We had a lovely stay from the beginning when Gobi greeted us at the front door. Inside, check in was friendly and efficient. In less than 10 minutes, we were on our way to rest and recuperation.

The next morning, we really enjoyed the breakfast buffets which are a wonderful reflection of how cosmopolitan Singapore and its visitors are. Besides a huge selection of traditional European staples like bread, cheese, cut meats, etc. the buffets also featured juicers, a solid Indian selection, and our favorite, noodles made to order.

More importantly, while having all these yummy ingredients is fun, I really want to call out the staff that made our breakfasts special. They were super friendly and efficient, made a point of engaging us and helping us navigate all the awesome food options.

We didn’t eat dinner or lunch at the hotel so I cannot comment on those. The pool was fun for the kids and each of them got their own bed (many hotels struggle with hosting three semi-adult kids).

So if you need something near orchard road or enjoy hotels that sparkle with their service, this is where I’d go.

We stayed as a family for 5 nights. Our stay has exceeded our expectations. The staff are all very professional and friendly. They’ve given us an experience that we haven’t had in other hotels. Only hotel who touched base with us upon booking and the week before our travel to find out if there’s a special occasion we’re celebrating. We’ve never really celebrated our wedding anniversary as it’s usually ‘packaged’ as part of our travel in the holiday season. However, staff asked if there’s anything we’re celebrating. As such, we have indicated that it is also our wedding anniversary. Oh boy, did they surprise and spoilt us! We arrived on a strewn rose petals room, fruits and treats. Also were treated with wine, macarons, rose and teddy souvenirs in the other days. Very special stay indeed. Special thanks to the butler team for making our stay a memorable one. Special mention to Penny, Syikin, Durai and San. Breakfast buffet has sufficient options that cater to varying preferences and dietary requirements - staff were very friendly and engaging always asking if everything is OK. Special mention to Darwin, Jonnel and Kamal. Gym has enough equipment for a reasonable workout with access to a body fat scanner which is a bonus. Pool is also of good size which the kids enjoyed. Overall, facilities and amenities of the hotel are well maintained. It’s also close to shops and steps away from Orchard Road.
Highly recommended! Thanks again St Regis Singapore for a wonderful stay.

We stayed in a special suite which is named in the honor of the founders mother (st. Regis Founder). This was a great story to hear. Wish the experience matched that story. There was construction going on in the hotel which was not disclosed during reservation. Lobby had terrible smell. Luckily not in the room. Nothing over the top and was expensive compared to other hotels I had researched.

One of my closers had a terrible smell that I could smell all night even with the door closed. Even after complaining, they only wiped it down with some orange solution that did not fix the issue. I asked them to please wipe it down with bleach but that request was ignored. Had to stay in a stinky room for a week.

Disappointing Stay That Ruined Our Family Time

Bad start - booked two rooms but hotel only registered one room which was not even in my name, as the main occupant (but my son's) - how strange and it was not rectified despite having written to the hotel via this app as well as to the butler's service who got in touch with my son (to my email of coz since I was the one booking) - very disappointing. In both instances, I reiterated our request for connecting rooms as we had planned a family gathering, even if it was just 4 adults and a baby.

Later, the \"error\" was only semi-rectified at check-in, after much hassle. Then to rub salt into wound, our rooms were not connected but just side by side - how unexpectedly disappointing. Didn't the girl at check-in not understand simple English? Or insufficiently trained perhaps. Needless to say, we insisted on connecting rooms - otherwise our main purpose of booking at this supposedly esteem establishment for a cosy, long-awaited family gathering would be meaningless. We only managed to get into our connecting rooms at 6pm ++ The hotel would not even grant a late check-out, citing that it is fully booked (but strangely, the day-before occupants were allowed to leave at 4pm ++, when we had already made a booking for connecting rooms).

It is sad to be sidelined in our own country. We received better services in 3 & 4 star hotels elsewhere in the world.

Rooms are cosy & comfortable. Exceptional amenities, befitting the price we paid. G8 concierge services. Not coming back though.

In summary: It is disappointing to pay premium five star hotel rates for the St Regis Singapore. The hotel is very long overdue a refurbishment. Things are in bad shape, faulty and dirty. Some staff are rude.

We had a suite and a second room for our kids.

The Bad:
-The hotel is very much in need of a refurbishment. Whilst it was clearly top notch in its day it is just too old now.
-When we first walked into the suite the aircon controller was half hanging open with exposed wires (see photos). I showed it to the concierge but it was not repaired during our entire five night stay. The aircon did not work properly as when we would put It back in its place something must have been pushing the buttons from behind so the room was always ice cold.
-The buttons on the control panel on the one bedside table did not do anything (see photo). To switch anything on or off could only be done from the other side.
-The desk had a number of gouges and stains showing how old the pace is (see photos).
-The bedroom telephone was absolutely filthy (see photo).
-We decided to spend an afternoon a the pool where there is an old guy who is the attendant and helped by an elderly lady. Besides being extremely rude and unpleasant and clearly hating their jobs the guy could not be bothered to fix up the sun umbrellas which were both in bad shape but repairable. He could have brought fixed umbrellas but could not be bothered. See photos.

Avoid unless you want your items damaged

Worst hotel stay of my life. I used their laundry service, they ruined 3 of my tshirts by stapling through them with a stapler which they use to tag clothes, and despite holes clearly aligning with the staples used, they claim it wasn’t them and take no responsibility. Totally unprofessional and disappointing; especially considering the price paid for the hotel.

Avoid! Terrible experience. Damaged my clothes.

I had a terrible experience at St Regis Singapore. 3 of my expensive designer tshirts were damaged by the laundry team. I gave my clothes to laundry service on Thursday morning; on Friday afternoon i was told 3 tshirts have holes in them (which they definitely didn’t have before). They claimed it wasn’t them and it must have happened before i gave the clothes to laundry because ‘they have experience’. I requested to see the clothes, and it turned out the hotel uses stapler to staple tags to the clothes labels. The ‘holes’ in question were actually holes from a stapler where the hotel staff stapler thought my 3 Tshirts. Despite the clear evidence, hotel is claiming no responsibility and their only excuse is ‘experience’ and that due to their experience it could not have happened. Shocking and disappointing.

I exchanged a couple of emails with the hotel director of operations, but was only offered Marriott points that would only be equivalent of c. 150usd. The Tshirts in question are worth in excess of 1,000USD. I refused the points and requested email contact to someone higher up, for the past month received no response.

No responsibility or accountability is being taken by the hotel.

The room was very good, spacious with quite comfortable beds, blackout curtains and a refreshing shower. The setup for the shower needs work, however-- water escapes every time, making the need to sop up puddles. The walls are somewhat thinner than you would expect-- neighbors coughing, etc. Beautiful lobby and pool. I would go back next time in Singapore-- proximity to Orchard Rd is fabulous yet without all the hustle and bustle.

I wish I could give zero reviews that’s how bad it

Checked in late well past 10pm, I was tired and didn’t care about the air conditioner not working. Next morning I called to complain, and they fixed the system finally, toilet kept on running long after you flushed, rooms keys needed to be replaced 2 times as the elevator didn’t except them. Line for breakfast was 30 minutes long. Waited for coffee forever until I finally left. Wanted to check out late due to late flight back to US. Hotels.com as a gold member I felt like I wasn’t recognized. After asking to check out late I was actually asked and forced to leave at 12 noon even harassed by the front desk.

The property overall was great, however for an international hotel brand in a major global city I would have expected at least an acceptable fitness facility. To my surprise, the fitness facility at the St. Regis Singapore is very outdated with sparse and poorly maintained equipment, e.g., rust on machines and rough handling, and in dire need of upgrading.

My husband and I stayed at the St. Regis for my birthday weekend and I cannot say enough about how lovely it was! Our room rate didn’t include breakfast but they threw it in for free (and it’s great!). The butler service is a very nice personal touch and made sure our requested cocktails were sent up to the room exactly as scheduled. They also included delicious complimentary chocolate birthday cake! Well worth it if you’re celebrating a special day!

In post-Covid Recovery Mode

I've stayed at the St Regis property before and it was an excellent experience. This time it appears the hotel is still struggling to recover from the Covid shut down period as staff we're not as well trained and familiar with the St Regis level of service - request for an airport transfer not booked, request to confirm a late check-in not confirmed, 90 minutes to have an iron delivered to the room, and staffing at breakfast appeared very stretched. And the interiors of the hotel room levels certainly looking tired. I'm guessing another six months before the property returns to its usual exceptional level of service.

Quietness: 5/5 - no street noise and minimal corridor noise
Space: 5/5 - largest hotel room I've ever stayed in (560 sqft), the bathroom alone is the size of most bedrooms! Additional sofa (with coffee table), desk and window seat provided plenty of seating options
Comfort: 5/5 - huge bed and comfortable seating
Temperature: 5/5 - a/c was able to go down to 18C for a good night's sleep
Amenities: 5/5 (empty) fridge, teas, coffees and cafetiere provided.

Overall 5/5 - most expensive hotel room I've stayed in, but well worth it if you want to spoil yourself!

Total disappointment with the customer manager handling the situation - theft. iPad was stolen from room.
This cause so much inconvenience and the way they handled, responded make us feel like this is \"common\" or we trying to kick a big fuss to get something in return. We were left with no choice but to make a police report.

I’ve stayed at St Regis many times. This time around, there was a stark difference in terms of :
- butler service (while the butlers were very kind and nice, the hotel has decided to stop 24/7 butler service so guests are not entitled to unlimited drinks anymore. Pretty disappointing considering this was a big factor in deciding to rebook the hotel so many times)
- the concierge experience at check in and check out was strange. I experienced passive aggressive behaviour from the concierge. They seemed really annoyed and unhappy. Very strange considering I always had good experience at St Regis. While they were sort of smiling at me, their choice of words and attitude was off.
- breakfast offerings downsized.
- We called for tidy up of room in the morning and were told that it could only be done after 3pm. While it was eventually done by 1pm (when we reached back to our room), it felt like the staff were always trying to manage expectations rather than give a good service.
- No automatic turn-down service on second day

I feel like the hotel seems to be cutting costs . While I can understand it might be due to covid-19’s impact, it took alot of the magic out of the St Regis experience ,which made us come back again so many times over the years. Will seriously have to consider again before I pay about $800 a night for the hotel again.

Appreciate the lovely butler services. They gave lovely cupcakes and cake, and a hand-written note to my son for his birthday.

Parking information on Hotels.com website is wrong. St Regis provide 1 free entry/day. Facilities booking system is not flexible, does not allow family of 4 to use facilities together. Butler service is good, hot chocolate is nice.
