The hotel location is great. Walkable to Chinatown, many restaurants and MRT stations. The area is nice and quiet, too. Breakfast was delicious every day! Staff was lovely. Would stay here again!

We recently spent 8 nights at InterContinental Hotels Singapore Robertson Quay and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect – just a short walk from train stations, by the river side with attractions and restaurants. Check-in was seamless, with the front desk staff 'FARID'' being incredibly friendly and efficient.
The room was spotless, modern, and comfortable. The continental breakfast was a highlight – fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, and even local juices with VERA and her team(young man that took our orders for eggs/omelets, wearing glasses with transparent frame and the coffee shop barista lady that draws hearts for my wife hot chocolate) making all your orders with perfection and always with a smile.
The concierge 'DEBORAH'(and the drive way cricket player) was always there when we needed it. The manager 'VIN' made the overall service feel personalized and really elevated the experience.

The hotel was clear and modern.

It was right next to water front with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
Additionally, the breakfast is really nice with an assortment of asian and western options.
Only con is that the rooms were a little small for my liking, but that wasn’t significant compared to the pros.
Had a lovely stay.

Great experience overall. Staff is very helpful and forthcoming. Pool is really nice for lap swimming. Gym has all it needs. The room was small but had a nice view on the river, where one was able to watch the wildlife of thr river.
Only minus point is that one cannot open any windows and due to the small room, clothes tend to dry very slow (wardrobe is next to the bathroom)

Nice, but was it worth the value!?!

My stay was already off to a bad start due to an apparent over-charging and poor/slow response by Hotels.com. And a delayed inbound flight (not the responsibility of the hotel) but did mean we missed the afternoon tea on arrival which was part of the package.

We selected a significantly more expensive Junior Suite option to ensure sufficient space in the room for the family, and to access the package benefits, including club access, buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapes. were allocated a room.

However, we were allocated a room much smaller than expected, according to the photographs! Considering it was specifically booked for 3 persons, it is thought this could have been better taken into account! To he fair, upon request the next morning, the hotel did change us to a much larger room as per expectations!

On the 2nd evening we were badly let down by the lack of attention and service in the club for cocktails and canapes. We were effectively ignored and had to walk out as we wanted to attend the Marina Bay lightshow at 8:45pm.

Overall, a nice hotel in excellent location, but comes with high expectations according to their pricing.

I felt my wife was disappointed by the experience, which is a great pity as it was our 28th wedding anniversary, and this was supposed to be a treat!

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental and was quite disappointed with the service. Despite its 5-star rating, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. My room was not ready until three hours after the scheduled check-in time, which was frustrating. The rooms themselves are surprisingly small, lacking the comfort you’d expect from a luxury hotel. Overall, the atmosphere didn’t feel welcoming. I’ve already filed a complaint, but I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a truly 5-star experience.

Good business hotel.

Standard room is small and has no bathtub. Bath area and entrance is a bit awkward due to the small room size. Overall a good hotel and a great location with a nice club area. Service was good except the valet area for cabs which was a below the intercontinental normal excellent standard. I would say more of a business trip hotel rather than a vacation stay.

I would like to give a shoutout to a lady in the front desk that was super friendly and allowed us to take a shower before our long flight back to the US. This was after we checked out and thought it was super nice of her to ask us if we wanted to take a shower before our long flight. Would love to come back one day.

The cleanliness and location was excellent.
The hotel itself and the rooms were much smaller than expected from the photos.

There was no mini bar so ended up having to order two cans of coke from room service and it cost almost $20AUD! That was just crazy, plus we had to go down to reception to chase the order as took 20 minutes.

The bed was a bit hard but good pillows and linen.

Rooms are serviced only every three days which may be an issue for some. You can ask for a linen change if you want via a digital concierge.

Breakfast was included but no longer a buffet so probably not worth the cost as you choose off a menu and they (very quickly) bring items to you. Other hotels we stayed at were back to doing buffet breakfast so suggest intercontinental do the same.

Great location on the river a short stroll from Clark Quay.

Very expensive for what it is it’s a three star hotel room being sold as a five-star room is extremely small especially for a five star or even a four star
Last day I was there they raise the price $100 a night

Staff were very good yes and the design and finish were well done

Restaurants were all good and restaurant service at Pubico was good and I found the breakfast to be very well done

I find it strange that intercontinental would except room size. Definitely not a five-star hotel but a good three star plus

1) Check-in very slow despite being the only guest served
2) I paid extra for an accessible room type. Check-in staff took it upon herself to change me back to a normal room. Didn’t apologise
3) Gave me a wifi code that didn’t work
4) Shower flooded in room due to poor design
5) No Netflix but Chromecast works only half the time
6) Note that housekeeping only services your room once every three days, you can call if you want it more often
7) Service staff quality varies — some are nice, some completely ignore you when you walk into the lobby

Staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic.

The room is extremely small, with very impractical layout . When you use the wash basin you’re splashing the contents of the only place where you can open your baggage. The same door slide to close the wardrobe OR the bathroom!!! Room service was delivered in papier take away containers (not as good as a McDonald packaging). The room wasn’t clean for 3 days after arrival ( staff claimed it’s Covid, other hotels said that not the case after getting clear PCR from airport)

No business centre, you have to email any documents if you need to print or scan. If you’re meeting someone at the lobby, the best you can do is get a bottle ( not glass) of water. You cannot even order a cup of tea.

We booked a Studio room for a weekend staycation at the Intercontinental Robertson Quay. In my opinion, the room was rather small, but it was clean, packed with amenities and well-maintained. All the hotel staffers that we met during our stay were friendly and always greeted us with smile. Some of them even loved to engage with conversation. Our booking came with breakfast for two. The spread was great and the taste was good. The hotel is located at the heart of Robertson Quay. It is basically surrounded by eateries.

I’m not sure if this hotel should be branded an Intercontinental hotel. From the moment you arrive you become aware that this is not going to be the usual Intercontinental hotel experience of refined luxury, opulent local surrounds and art, impeccable service and touches of a world fast disappearing. However, the Robertson Quay property will only disappoint if this is what you expect and compare your experience to. We decided to embrace the Intercontinental Robertson Quay experience - the undersized but remarkably functional room had everything we needed for a two night stay in Singapore. Ultra modern... cutting edge design is apparent from the moment you enter the room. You actually enter to room through the bathroom thus allowing the king size bed prime position next to the floor to ceiling window. Perfectly adequate for a solo traveller or lightly packed couples. If you are into modern you will love it. If you love the step back in time feel of most Intercontinental hotels you may feel as I do writing this - I certainly can’t say it is not of good quality or service, it’s just not what we were expecting however, in this changing world with increasing populations, I do feel this hotel will tick many boxes for young business travellers of the future. Try it - I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it!

Actually I wanted to stay Intercontinental Singapore for my wife's birthday not Robertson Quay, but I noticed I booked wrongly when I arrived at Singapore before noon to check in. I tried to transfer but hotel front said if direct booking she can make it, but via expedia, I need to contact expedia first, however I couldn't find the contact number in booking email or apps.
so I called Robertson Quay,they said the same as Singapore...
finally I found expedia number by website. PIC of expedia understood my situation and tried to solve it, but Robertson Quay declined it as it was too late...It was around 1430pm before check in time.
so I gave up staying intercontinental Singapore and went to Robertson Quay to negotiate directly...
Front answer was the same.
I gave up and stayed there.
I know this comes from my fault,
but It was completely waste of time and I spent SGD6 for car parking in intercontinental Singapore.

I chosed cheapest room,
When I enter the room, I found the opposite building dirty windows and
I felt it poor sightseeing for my wife's birthday.
Room quite small, there's no bath tab only shower and I needed to ask portable bathtab for my baby.

I think for business use, it would be useful but for sightseeing or special date I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

when I checked out, Manager came and said some excuses...but it was too late...it was my first experience in intercontinental,but I thought intercontinental service is like that, not like Ritz.

There is no refrigerator to keep your drinks cold or food; there was a bin with slots for drinks for purchase only. No tubs; only stand up showers with which water runs all the way to the other end of the bathroom where the toilet and sink are...so until the water dries out completely, you’re standing in ponding water.

Beautifully designed, a step forward from the classic InterContinental signature. Room was small but very cosy and comfortable. Genius use of available space in ensuring all essential features are provided. Gorgeous view of the river from the room, with easy to operate motorised blind and sheer.

Housekeeping should be improved. Pulled the extra pillow from the upper compartment and that brought along a layer of dust on my face.

Short stay in Singapore at Robertson Quay

The hotel is perfectly situated along the Singapore River so you can walk to Orchard Road and even Marina Bay Sands if you have the energy. Its also close to the yellow route of the hop-on hop-off tourist bus service. We were also greeted by friendly and professional staff that welcomed us each time they saw us. I opted for the buffet breakfast and this was really an awesome choice with full spread and value for money. Highly recommend this hotel and will make sure this is rebooked the nect time I’m in town.

Except for the fact that the room was extra small. Smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen. So I guess that makes it not really 5-star.
Also the insulation isn’t the best as I could hear other guests in the next room snoring.

This is a well located (for our holiday) hotel, beautifully set up where everything works. We had a king room - so the rest seemed a little small - the rooms are narrow. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom worked well although the door to the separate toilet was quite stiff to slide. The coffee maker and kettle were great assets. The air con was a little cold for us and despite our efforts, returned to cold when we were out. The level 4 lobby was comfortable and a great place to meet friends. However the very best asset for this hotel is the quality of the staff. Their English was spotless and there was nothing too difficult to do to help us. We were leaving late, so as well as luggage store they arranged for us to have showers. Wonderful support to their clients.

The Room:
My room (on the 5th floor) was very cold with the air-conditioner. It took some time to heat up the room each night when I arrived back to my hotel. I would leave the temperature up when I departed in the morning, to find it turned down again when I returned. This made my stay unpleasant as it took sometime to get the room to a temperature I considered pleasant.
The room was quiet which was appreciated.
The Layout:
I did not like the set up of the hotel. You arrive on the 1st floor, then get out of the lift on the 4th floor and have to walk to another lift.
Breakfast Staff:
The hosts where I had breakfast as part of my stay were terrific and made me feel very welcome.
Check In/Out:
Check in and out was fast but I felt like that I had booked through Expedia, I was not treated like an IHG member.
