Room wasn’t clean and we have to ask for toilet paper and shower supplies even on our 2 nd day.

Although the room we booked, standard double, showed views from a window the room we were give had plastic covering over them so no views whatsoever. We had to pay 40 dollars more for an upgrade.
The upgrade was exactly the same but with a view.
The room was cleaned daily, the staff courteous.

Bed was hard and you feel the springs, it isnt queen sized like what i paid for. The room is torned out. Water running on the wall. No bidet. The blankets was just 3 layers of cloth put together. No hot water. Toilet was filthy. It wasnt what i expected of a decent room, even. Staffs were smiling but no customer service. The windows arent noise proof so i could hear the construction work all the time. A very very bad experience. Paid for 3 nights and i checked out on the 1st night. Im still waiting for my 2 nights refund..but no reply.

I do not recommend this property. It is run down, there are stains on the carpet, marks on the wall, the floor creaks and needs repairs, the staff were disinterested on check in, unhelpful when we asked about amenities in the area, the bathroom had mold and the room looked onto a wall. Like literally a wall. They wanted to charge a SG$5 deposit for a second room key. It shouldn’t be featured on Wotif. Other guests we talked to shared the same opinion. It would have been nice back when first built. Suitable for backpackers only.

It was what it was
Lacked ventilation and the smell of damp and visible signs of mould was a concern
If the Ac in the room was off it just sweated like nothing I’ve ever seen
Extraction system in the bathroom didn’t work
The mould was incredible the only way to remove the sweat was leave ac on which also gave concern to the quality of air it would of been out putting
We left the windows open and just spent as little time in the room as possible
As for the pool area around was clean old but clean the pool was green tint and by end of stay was well green the water that flowed into from a water full feature was bright green just unbelievable
A total revamp needed or at least chlorine
Would never recommend my thoughts would be remove it from your list I f hotels until improvements confirmed

Dangerous, miselading and money hungry

The WORST place we have ever stayed. We booked a standard double room with a free infant cot on December 5, 2024. Didn't hear from the hotel until May 5, 2025 asking us to upgrade to a deluxe room because the cot wouldn't fit in the room. When we turned up after a 12 hour flight they tried to charge us for both the room upgrade and a cot surcharge. We went back and forth for hours with their managers. It is not my fault if they were advertising the wrong room and therefore don't feel that I am liable to cover the costs of their false advertising. After 2 hours I asked for a refund, which they refused. The manager argued all sorts of points- that the correct info was on their website (irrelevant), that they had asked hotels.com to take this info down (not the customer's problem) and that a cot was not the same as a crib (???!!!). The best offer that they had after 2 hours was $90sgd for the upgraded room and a free baby cot as well as reduced early check in fees. On hotels.com at the time, the difference between a deluxe and standard room for the 2 nights was less than $20sgd. Our hands were tied unless we wanted to lose all the money we had already paid, after already wasting 2h of our lives after a 12 hour flight.

Here's where it gets worse. After getting to the \"upgraded room\" the cot did not fit, nor did the chair that was in the room. This is a safety hazard and fire risk, as the exit was completely blocked. We didn't feel like risking our lives so we got rid of the cot.

It was decent, we got adjoining rooms but smelled heavily like cigarettes. They relocated us really quick which was great night staff. Rooms are small but we only needed them to sleep. Pretty much on Clarke Quay and can walk to parks and restaurants. The part that i didn't like is i had to call my bank \"international toll free on website\" but upon check out they said it cost $50 singapore dollars. I tried explaining its toll free and showed them but day staff just kept adding numbers on a calculator and saying \"see correct\" we had to leave to the airport and i didnt want to waste my time explaining. Would not stay again or recommend.

Pro and cons of the hotel

For its price, it may be reasonable. But the maintenance and service of this place really needs to keep up. There’s no slippers, no robe, and shower gel is a 3-in-1. The mirror has black spots and seems to be worn out. The saving grace is really the location, the shower head that works and the heater.

The hotel is very old looking, the beds aren’t comfortable, the round large hole throughout the centre of the building is creepy looking. The toilet roll holder didn’t work, the bathroom door is strange and connects to the shower door too.

I got room at level 9. The room was designed from room to room connector door. The door partation is too thin and unsafe. Also i can hear noise from other room.no privacy. Hotel is unsafe. No security control. Anyone can reach to your room door anytime. Example: grab delivery guy, stranger can reach to your door step without any restriction.

I searched with filter of baby cot and the hotel came up. I chose it and even remind them that i need a baby cot but when i arrived they Charge me 35 singaporean dollar per night extra and gave me extra bed instead. Apparently they dont even have baby cots.

The wifi reception was terrible,had it at 2-3 bars and the connection was very intermittent and the spacing and size of the bathroom was quite awkward. There wasn't even a rack to hang out clothes at the back of the bathroom door.
There was a group of girls who woke us up in the middle of the night with so much shouting and loud voices.

Location and price are the top advantages for short/transit visit to Singapore. 5 mins walk to Fort Canning station, then all the way to the airport (about 45mins). However, it's not suitable for a long holiday trip.

Location is excellent and that’s about all I the good I can say about the property. Rooms are very small, not like the pictures show. Beds are awful and hotel will charge you a fee for anything they can ( cribs, early check in, etc) not overly clean place and it’s very outdated. Staff can’t answer anything without manger’s approval. Only stay here for location and if you are single or a couple. No more than 2 nights stay max.

We had to complain several times before they organised someone to look at it. Managed to get it 'warm' for one night, cold again in the morning. No compensation or different room offered. Whatever you do if you borrow an iron - dont lose the $10 deposit paperwork because they will not return the $10 even after returning the iron - they stole $10 off me the time before this visit, but i did stay again for convenience.

This is a hotel for business people on short trips, one person only in my view, you may get a double bed but the rooms are just to small and the bathroom if you can call it that was minuscule, there’s no wardrobe. I guess it’s a place to get your head down if your on a low budget, you wouldn’t want to spend time there

Won't go again. Room reminded me of caravan interior - everything VERY compact. Towels thin, sheets thin and looked dirty (washed but with stains), soap holder in shower broken, no soap bar at sink. Bed very hard and had uncomforable sleep. No complimentary water. Air con worked, nice view of swimming pool at nx door hotel, staff okay. Very strict no early check in. Did allow us to put luggage behind a table so we could go out to get food etc.

The hotel’s location close to the river offers a nice view, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The rooms are quite dated and not well-maintained. The Wi-Fi is incredibly slow, which was frustrating and made it difficult to stay connected. The 2 towels provided were old, gray and worn out. The hotel simply doesn’t offer good value for the price.

Apart from its location in Robertson Quay, this hotel is a letdown. The property is run down with peeling wall coverings, and the room is not clean with a musty, outdated smell. Housekeeping is practically non-existent, supplying only two toothbrushes, two shower caps, a roll of toilet paper, two thin gray towels (which were supposed to be white), one floor mat, and a wall-mounted dispenser for an all-in-one washing solution. To top it off, they used a broom to sweep the room floor instead of vacuuming. Overall, wouldn’t recommend

It is an unique circular old building located at the city centre and next to a mall. Very convenient with free parking. Room is definitely small but enough for short stay. Pool facility is an added point for this small hotel. Walking distance to public transport MRT. Bars and restaurants are nearby with 24-hour convenient store.

We had an interconnecting rooms. It was like a tiny house, a place for everything and extremely comfortable.
Beautifully situated on the river. Not far from anything.
The luggage storage was amazing.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and basically that was too long for the course of the hotel that's the bedrooms were incredibly small and cramped with an equally cramped bathroom and shower. Very noisy fan in room . Mattress on bed very uncomfortable, could feel the springs …Checked and found it was upside down. Turned mattress over, only slightly better, very hard. Pillows had stains. Bed moved on floor …needed to prop with suitcases against bed base to stop it moving when sitting up in bed. A better bed is needed, in fact I should have read reviews as other guests commented on uncomfortable beds. Management seems not to have taken any notice. Very few channels on television. Tea and coffee available but would have appreciated bottles of water. Very disappointed no breakfast. All in all a basic accommodation. I would not recommend this hotel if you need a good nights sleep! Staff pleasant and helpful .

The hotel is basic and economical for Singapore, if you are looking for a bit more it may worth paying the extra. The room was compact and the bed ok. Kettle provided with 1 coffee sachet each! They kept our bags all day as we had an evening flight. The pool area looked nice though we didn't use it. The area is great as it is next to the river, loads of restaurants and a supermarket nearby.

I arrived early and was told even if I wanted to check in 30 mins early, I would be charged $50! I travel around the world and never heard of that.
My room was VERY small, you CANNOT adjust temperature. The a/c is either off or on. The bathroom was tiny, no soap, and when you take a shower it floods the entire bathroom floor
