I enjoyed our stay with the property’s location and etc but in our 2nd night, we asked the operation agent for some drinking waters which we had requested via the self service without any further confirmation.
We have received 2 bottles of water daily, yet she verbally insisted that the hotel did not give away bottle of water in the room. My question is: 1- why do you have a drinking water service request (we had done it and received previously) . 2- there were 4 bottle of waters in the room on our first day.

I am not complaining about the drinking water as we also bought ourself but it was late at night and she could have simply said the housekeeping service was not available. I have been working in this hotel industry for years and am aware of this, yet the unprofessional response was a no no. Please train the operator agent for better and more professional communication and brand alignment!

Overall, i appreciated the front office team for their prompt service and take care!

The hotel provides very limited service. I would not consider it a 4-star property; it is closer to a 3-star business hotel with heavy reliance on self-service. The in-room AI assistant is essentially non-functional — it gives only one response and cannot continue a conversation. For example, it was unable to advise how to turn the air conditioning on or off.

On the day of check-in, no one answered the phone from morning onwards. I was calling to inquire about a paid early check-in arrangement. There was no response, including from the duty manager. Later, I was told the hotel was very busy and fully booked. However, being too busy to answer guest calls should not be the customer’s problem. Although Shirley from front-office trying to help as much as she can and giving me 1 hour check-in in advance. The team seems to be under staffed.

Room maintenance is also poor. For two consecutive mornings, the toilet had a strong drainage smell, likely due to the age of the building. The toilet may require a pan collar replacement to address this issue. The flush handle appears very old and poorly maintained, and the exterior walls show visible green mold, which is noticeable even from outside the building. The towel handle in the bathroom is too high for normal people to reach.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. There is a significant gap between the hotel’s marketing and the actual condition and service provided.

Good location, great pool and outdoor area, good breakfast and was upgraded.
But the hotel is in great need of renovation. Rooms and hallways are really tired - stained ripped and chipped tiles and carpet and flaking paint everywhere. And messy, no one was vacuuming. Plus the air freshener was very overwhelming, giving me a headache.

Loved the cozy stay and it was very convenient having voice assistance control in the room! However, the service from the young lady on morning shift was rather disappointing, she appeared bossy and was reluctant to help with taxi booking, which ended up made for the wrong location. Also, there was unpleasant smell coming from the sofa.

The rooms here are lofts. Didn't feel safe in the Premium Loft with upstairs bedroom due to low glass wall. You have to watch that you don't bump your head in several areas of the room. Location is good right by Robertson Quay with many restaurants steps away, although prices were quite high. Nice pool and breakfast area on Floor 2 and lovely to wander around at night. Fort Canning MRT 800m away.

Appreciate the daily room clean and the complimentary water and towels in the gym and swimming pool. The self service laundromat is useful but slightly pricey. Given that Singaporeans are known for their friendliness, the receptionists staff could do with some addittional training on this aspect. The room space is perfect for one but could be a struggle for three. The soft bed keeps rolling out when being used as a sofa. The location and entertaining are all within walking distance of the property but in the scotching sun, it may not be comfortable. Also, care should be put towards the shower head cleaning moulds were spotted. Also housekeep should check the toiletries as I ran out of showel gel. Neverthless, my stay was pleasant and may use the hotel again.

Arrived at 3 pm and got assigned a room which was not what I booked. Was promised the right room once I’d be back from my meetings at 6pm, was then told to wait 30-40 minutes, had to wait 2 hours until I got my room at 8 pm. Was treated with an attitude at the bar when I asked for a tomato juice with the complimentary drink I received as compensation, and told I could only have a pineapple one. Long queues at the reception as everyone was complaining. I experienced staff and lack of process, which all results in wasting clients time.

Missing bell boy and no sitting in the lobby area

I wish there is Bell boy at the front to help out with luggage. The trolleys are broken with punctured wheels and none seems to be working properly. It is chaotic moving luggage up if you have lots of stuff. There is no sitting area in the lobby which is a huge inconvenience. The restaurant does not serve local food which a bit of disappointment. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the studio room.

Somewhat close to Chinatown area, while you need to go up and down the overpass stairs. It is not close to the Metro and it is inconvenient to get to the sightseeing hub.
The facility in the hotel closes very quickly and there are no bathroom on the 1st or lobby area. If you checked out, then you are out of your luck. It is so hard to check in to the hotel, since you have to do all the registration on your phone. The lobby is so tiny that it becomes like a zoo often. There are not enough seats for anyone in the lobby to sit.

Room 456 had a spoilt shower head, the bidet was also missing, there were coffee stains on the curtains & the pillows provided on the bed is too soft, and too little. The room is definitely weathered. The hjbo channel has very bad connection, other channels are fine, not smart tv here at all to link netflix. But overall still a decent stay.

The rooms are comfortable, albeit a little work out.
Breakfast was good, selection of bread a bit limited and a really slow toaster!
Gym was also good, but again the equipment were quite worn out. Another bench would be very good to have.
Pool is fantastic, and the poolside hangout, but there really should be a pool bar where to buy drinks and snacks! Also a dressing room would benefit the overall comfort. So you can change after gym session and go straight to the pool.
Service and the personnel were super friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay, thank you!

A studio room with desk and presumably bed settee upstairs. Very small toilet (!) but fully functional with wash basin in room. Separate shower. All clean. Very nice breakfast and firiendly staff. Well situated for Clarke Quay and tourist attractions. Easy taxi ride to airport.

After a wait for close to an hour in the Check-in queue, we were told to wait for one more hour for the room keys.

The service standards are generally poor, esp at the cafe.

The TV in the room malfunctioned. The technician said he cant handle it but will inform the IT Department.

Location is excellent. A couple of service staff were helpful.

The room outlay/design is not too friendly, especially the washrooms.

Will definitely not stay here again.

2nd time here, room706 has a toilet bowl that is constantly flushing always when some else’s in the nearby rooms use it and there’s a stinky smell to it. HBO channel on the tv has latency issue and wires were dangling unsightly from the tv. Service is good from check in, and to me requesting for additional pillows. The ai call service in the room is rather confusing and doesnt seem to work for me. There were also no complimentary water provided in the room.

Great Access to Roberson Quay - Restaurants, Convenience Store and Clark Quay Central MRT. Within walking distance. Always easy to access Grab Ride. Room was compact - Studio Style but ok for Budiness Trip. Breakfast ok at L2 Breeze. Reasonable Room Rate as always through Hotels.com.

It was my first time trying a loft which I longed to experience, and had an overall pleasant stay with Studio M.

Wall is thin. People were partying at our next room. Feedback a couple of times throughout the day and sleeping hours. Things did not improved. We were woken at 5am and decided to just go for breakfast. Staff did not initiate to change our room despite our unpleasure experience. We can’t even rest properly. This is a very interesting property where you have a loft room as well as a main room. Great for 3 people. Excellent breakfast dining and a good all day cafe. Heaps of great restaurants with in short walking distance . An easy walk to Chinatown, Clark Quay. Loved it.

Breakfast daily was an absolute nightmare. No coffee cups, no silverware, no plates, NO FOOD, &!NO JUICE.
Not sure what I was paying for as we had to find an alternative source for breakfast daily.
Additionally, the rooms are so backwards. An upstairs loft makes no sense as someone wants to come in and take their shoes off but has to sit on the bed with their dirty clothes to do so.
Overall, very disappointed in the property.

Stayed a few times over last 3 years and this stay was a bit disappointing. Room was very under-standard compared to all my precedent experiences (mold, very humid and some lightbulbs broken, hot water reach after 15 mins of cold water !). Not sure if the hotel aged quickly and the standard lowered or if I got really unlucky this time.
