This hotel had a few very good benefits.
1- Location. This hotel was very close to the center of town, which made it easy to walk to all the sites.
2- Air conditioning. This was a huge plus during the recent heat wave in Europe. We were able to walk around for 2 hrs then come to the hotel to cool down.
3- free water and coffee in the lobby. In the lobby was a cold water fountain with either flat or sparkling water. You don’t realize how nice this is until you’ve been wandering around the Netherlands and Belgium and everyone charges for water.
Beds were comfortable. There was plenty of plugs in the room to charge phones, etc.

My only suggestion for improvement was to add another pillow on each bed.

We also selected to include the breakfast. The croissants and pastries were delicious but the rest (bacon, cold cuts, cheese, scrambled eggs) were pretty inedible in our opinion. However there is juice, specialty coffees, pastries and fruits so that was ok.

There is also a very nice grocery store one block away where we bought fresh fruits and sandwhiches.

It is in an excellent location, probably to have two vending machines for drinks and snacks, one in the lobby and the other next to the terrace, and open stairs way from the M floor to the lobby, not just the elevator service.

Budget hotel in a great location relative to the historic center. You’re no more than 5 to 15 minutes. Walk from all the key historic sites. Also, right in the middle of the shopping district.

Very modern interior. Very clean and well maintained. Bright and great lighting. Comfortable beds with nice linens. Very quiet.

No safe in the room. The room itself was very good size with a Juliette balcony. Bathroom quite small and no real place to put your items on the counter. No shelves. Nice shower with lots of hot water. No closet just an open spot to hang a very small number of items.

OK They offer you early check-in, but it’s €15 if you do so. But you also can’t leave luggage for free until check-in. There is a luggage room on an upper floor that is not secured other but has paid lockers inside. There are some open shelves if you dare store your luggage there, but there’s no security at all. It ended up being less expensive for us to pay for the early check-in rather than rent lockers for our luggage for the time we would have needed. I really do expect a hotel to provide free service for minding luggage before check-in and when you check out if needed.

Breakfast is included. The room is lovely and bright and well decorated. Floor ceiling windows overlooking the street. A good basic buffet of a couple of hot meats, scrambled eggs, a variety of bread and buns, and a couple of pastries, yogurt, fruit, and cheeses, cereals. Coffee is a machine which really wasn’t great.

Very central so easy to reach anywhere in the city. Staff were helpful. Liked the 5 Euro voucher if you don't need your room serviced. Useful tourist maps and booklets available. Coffee, tea, water, fruit and breads available free in the reception lounge area. Air conditioning perfect as it was very hot during our stay.

Very clean, comfortable hotel. Quiet room, comfortable bed. No extras but was still comfy. Quite small but fine for what we needed. First reception person was ok. But not very helpful. We arrived an hour early and she wanted to charge us 50 euros to check in early. The second reception person was lovely literally 30 minutes later. Checked us in no problem. Coffee machine in the lobby was not working. Apparently you could get coffee on another level but we didn’t try as we did not buy breakfast. Overall great hotel centre of the city great location.

Very clean room and hotel is in a great location in the centre. Hotel was quiet at night. Did find the room a bit bright at night due to shop lights over the road and the curtains could be thicker.
Room is quite small for two people with limited storage so you end up living out of your cases.
Would stay again if I was visiting Gent in the future.

The hotel is in good condition, but there were a couple issues that ruined the experience.
The mattress seemed to be pretty old, since it was sunken in and was not comfortable.
The shower drain was clogged and caused the bathroom to overflow with water, and the TV in the room didn’t work. It turned on, but no channels or anything was working. Not even the screen mirroring. I raised the issues with the reception staff. Seems like they took care of the drain, but they didn’t do anything about the TV. I raised the issue again, but I was told there was nothing they could do except change me to a new room, which was pointless since I was leaving the day after.
It’s a shame since it was my first time staying at a B&B hotel and it looked promising at first.

Superb hotel, 100% recommended. Very modern reception and room, free option to leave luggage (or paid options with more security). The staff are a credit to the hotel and kindly helped us print out some tickets at short notice. There are no hot drinks options in the room but the reception has a free coffee and water machine, as well as complimentary croissants one day. Quiet room despite central location.

My family stayed at the hotel recently and it was a fantastic experience. The property is centrally located in Ghent and easily accessible by foot. Our room had three beds (two full and one queen) and was very clean. Overall, this is a nice and reasonably priced hotel and we highly recommend it.

The location is ideal. 3 minutes walk to the Holiday market and under 10 minutes to Gravensteen Castle.
Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly. Theres a mini coffee bar and war refill station in the lobby.

Hôtel ultra propre, moderne, joli et pratique. Parfaitement situé (en plein centre ville + quartier sûr et avec nombreuses options shopping + restauration). Chambre confortable avec équipements très fonctionnels et produits d'accueil de qualité. Petit-déjeuner buffet très frais. Fontaines à eau/thé etc. dans le hall, ajoutant à la convivialité du lieu. Décoration dans tout l'hôtel à la fois neutre et fun. Equipe agréable. Excellent rapport qualité-prix !
