All staff were delightful and very helpful.
The breakfast is magnificent with plenty of choice and was very fresh. The coffee was the best we had during our whole stay in Ghent and Brugge.
We ate in the hotel in the evening which was also very tasteful with attentive staff.
The room was very clean and the bedding was luxurious. Access to the Spar is a nice bonus.

The Best Place to Stay in Ghent

This is a beautiful hotel with phenomenal customer service. The hotel is located right on the periphery of the historic center of Ghent on a quiet street with taxi access and several restaurants. Ghent is magnificent, and when we go back, we'll definitely stay at Pillows.

Exceptional service and courtesy

This is a truly exceptional hotel. The staff was professional and courteous and friendly, too. Given that we were a party of four, they offered us a beautiful suite at no extra charge that made the stay so much nicer than had we been in separate rooms. This is the kind of the hotel experience which Americans often praise by saying, The Europeans .. or in this case, Belgians, know how to do things right! A big thanks to the staff at Pillows for their hospitality.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property in Ghent. Both of our rooms were very spacious - with big balconies and everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We got handwritten welcome notes with custom desserts, which added a nice touch. We loved how clean the hotel is, how centrally located it is and how friendly and courteous staff is. Highly recommend.

For a central hotel, this place is wonderful. Modern, but still has that historic feel when you first enter. All round, the hotel was clean, staff were courteous, and was only a short walk the main area of Ghent. The breakfast was delightful, and dinner was classy at the Olivier Le Petit Bistro. Fantastic Hotel in Gent

We were warmly greeted and taken around the hotel.
There were welcome sweets in the room. There were nice gifts for our baby, which was a lovely touch.
All the staff were attentive and welcoming which really made our stay.
The look and feel of the hotel was luxurious. Breakfast was extensive and delicious.
Nothing ever seemed an inconvenience.
The plunge pool, spa and sauna were lovely and the outdoor courtyard and seating were lovely to relax in the afternoon sun.
Location is great, you can get to all the sites and trams within a 5-10 minute walk.

This was an excellent hotel that we stayed at for a family road trip. The staff were excellent and I would also recommend the bar and Lof restaurant too. We had a lovely time at the Spa and would say the location is very convenient with most landmarks within walking distance.

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof was a wonderful option for our stay in Ghent. Close to the major sights in Ghent, including Gravenstein and St Bavo Cathedral (with the incredible Van Eyck alterpiece - don't miss it), the staff was very helpful. The hotel has a spa and a lovely atrium garden. Despite its great location, the hotel was quiet and restful. And, it has great restaurants! Its Michelin restaurant was closed on the night we were there, but, we needn't have worried, their \"casual\" bistro was also fabulous. Highly recommended!

Practically Perfect Hotel

I loved my stay here and only wish it was longer. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful, everyone says hi as you walk through the hotel. The building is beautiful with sumptuous relaxing interior decor from the restaurant to the garden to the room. The room had everything I could need including a balcony with a view over the garden. And to top it all off there is a stylish relax spa with excellent massage and pleasant pool.

This is a beautiful, spacious two bedroom apartment with all the benefits of home. What it lacks is information. This starts with check in. They use a \"digital key\" as if everyone on earth knows what that is. I don't and no one I know does. It's not hard to operate once you have it and someone tells you how to use it, but until then, it's just the source of frustration. Same problem inside this beautiful space. How do you work the heat? It is chilly outside we need heat. We are left to play with the registers and hope. You know the old saying about \"assuming\" that people know how to operate everything? They don't. At home, we keep a notebook explaining everything. You could do the same AND then this would be magnificent.

Pillows is a beautiful, modern hotel. Our room was large - although they staged a large TV at the foot end of the bed, in effect cutting off the view of 2/3rd's of the room. This is a full service hotel that charges big city prices for everything, so be prepared. Two side points. One, they have no water - except in bottles - UNLESS it's to their advantage. So at the breakfast buffet (which is really good), they have \"free\" water. Anywhere else in the building it several euros. Last, I must note that I made a reservation for the wrong night - off by one - immediately tried to change and was told \"too late\" or the equivalent. Do not reserve here unless you make sure you have the right night(s) and pay a bit more for the right to change until you are absolutely certain. I'm still surprised by the manner in which we were treated on the issue - especially because the hotel itself, and the staff are just terrific.

Reception is very helpful & friendly, relaxed environment. Lovely Spa, sauna & small pool, a real oasis in the city. Easy links to train station by trams T1, T3 & T4 with stops nearby (often not shown on google planner. Just be careful you go in the correct direction! Costs €2.50 just touch in with bank card on WHITE terminal (no touch out), can change trams/bus within 1hr for no extra cost.

Lovely hotel in a striking building. The room was spacious and spotless. Staff were excellent and quick to resolve any questions. 5 mins walk to the old town with its multitude of stunning vistas and endless chocolate shops. Highly recommended!

Beautiful classy weekend

Beautiful hotel, we stayed for three nights to visit the Christmas market. We had a Pillows suite which was very spacious with a walk in wardrobe! Very comfortable bed and great walk in shower. Was surprised that the hotel uses single use plastics for bathroom products still. The bar was very quiet and did not have much of a vibe, however we did stay in the week and perhaps it’s more lively at the weekend, however the cocktails were great!
One of the most chilled and enjoyable breakfast experiences we have had at a hotel!

Very comfortable and close to city center

Loved our stay at Pillows. We had a very long day of traveling and arrived early to the property, and they were very accommodating about letting us check in early. The girl at the front desk was also very helpful and showed us where everything was and was also able to call us a taxi to the train station during our stay. The location was good - within walking distance of the city center and a tram stop. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We were unsure about how to work the coffee machine and rain shower, but the front desk was helpful. We wish we had prebooked the breakfast, because it was pretty pricey buying it day of. Can’t wait to return to Ghent one day, and we’d love to stay at Pillows again.
