L'hôtel est impeccable! Néanmoins il n' y a pas d'ascenseur, donc ce n'est pas adapté pour personnes avec mobilité réduite ni fauteuil roulant. Jean Michel nous a aidé avec nos bagages, il est très gentil. Nous a été offert aussi des serviettes et un parasol pour la plage. Très bon emplacement, près de la plage public et plusieurs restaurants.

Wonderful place to stay

Loved everything about this hotel! Excellent location, comfortable bed, designed with every detail to meet the needs of the guests in a very stylish way. Airy room with cheerful blue window shutters opens up and we could see the beautiful sea a little and the cute street. Bathroom was very nice too, if I come again to Cannes (hopefully) definitely want to stay here again.One thing to mention though if you have limitations with stairs might want to ask for a low floor, we stayed at 4th floor and it was a walk up which did not bother us.

Great little gem in the centre of Cannes

Had a great stay at the Hotel Mistral. Located close to all of the local amenities - beach, le croisette, rue de Antibes for shopping, harbour etc.
I stayed in the Zephyr room on the 4th floor - good exercise every day! Spacious, good wardrobe space, good bathroom size.
Jean Michel was very helpful - provided a map of the town and pointed out how to get to all the local sights.
Would definitely recommend this little gem in the centre of Cannes - I'll stay here again the next time I'm in the Côte d'Azur

Nice hotel with good location

Stayed one night in July. Good location only few blocks from the Croisette and the Palais. Small room as could expect for the price but sufficient for us. Nice and tidy room. No elevator in the hotel but the staff was very eager to help with luggage (we were at the top floor) so not a problem. Friendly and helpful staff.

Superb value-for-money hotel in a superb location

We stayed at the Le Mistral hotel for 2 nights on our Easter trip to the Côte d'Azur and were very pleased with our stay! It is hard to believe that this hotel is only 2 stars, because it offers much more style and comfort than many 4 stars hotels. Le Mistral provided everything we needed: the room was quite spacious, very clean and practically equipped and had a very modern and stylish feel, with some designer elements in the bathroom and in the room decorations. Our room was on the top floor and we had an excellent night rest. The location is superb and cannot be beaten, very close to the train station and super close to La Croisette and the Palais des Festivals.
Note that the reception closes in the evening, but we were anyway arriving in the early evening, so it was not a problem at all. Also the hotel doesn't have an elevator, so people with heavy luggage should keep that in mind. For us this was not a problem at all.
Overall a small boutique hotel that exceeded our expectations, superb value for money, both in the sense of room facilities and location. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cannes!

You get what you pay for.

HOT Water is a rare commodity at this property. THerefore I had to be up by or before 6am to get a hot shower. I stayed for one week. They NEVER replaced the small bar of soap. The bed sheets were never replaced. However when I asked the owner, Michele, for extra towels, he not only delivered them to my room... he also left the room SUPER clean for me!! Super nice guy. The ONLY person there that was nice. I once asked a lady a question (in French) and the answer wa something along the lines of \"so what\"?

Last minute booking, good experience

I had really late last minute booking and arrived to hotel after midnight. The hotel representative called me and advised that front desk will be closed and had arranged access to the hotel and everything was prepared for me to get into the hotel, and room. It was very nice and comfy room, clean and cozy. Very good location too. I had just one night stay, but was very pleased with accommodation and service. Thank you.

You get what to pay for in a great location

A very nice hotel in the sense that you get what you pay for. The man on the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The lack of a lift is not ideal if you have heavy bags. The location in Cannes is very hard to be though as you are on a quiet side street between the croisette and the rue d'antibes.

I go twice a year for TV conventions and this was the first time at Le Mistral. It's only about two blocks from the Palais des Festivals which makes it extremely convenient to quickly step in and out of your room at any time while you're at the Palais. The room, although small, offered a comfortable bed and modern updated bathroom (shower is a must for me!). Stairs are mandatory but its take it like your daily exercise. Staff super friendly and helpful. Definitely will repeat my stay

Good hotel for price

Great location, 3 min walk to public beach access. Only 10 rooms, small but enough room. Bar fridge and newly updated bathroom. Only down fall is that there is no elevator and we were on the top floor (4th) and had to carry up 4 pieces of luggage. Also being pregnant made it difficult to walk up the 4 flights after coming inside from the hot weather.

Well located but dreary hotel with nice staff. No real problems but it was hard to walk around the bed without crashing into the wall TV - don't know how 2 people would cope. Long flight of stairs up to reception but nice staff person helped me with luggage, probably not for those who don't like stairs, even tho there is a lift to the other floors. sea within 2 blocks and plenty of bistros close by. the carpeting is dreadful grey and brown striped carpet squares laid perpendicular to each other to form a bad pattern, now heavily stained.

Location, location, location

Le Mistral is in a great location. Close to the beach, restaurants, bars, and shopping. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and the shower had great pressure. Only (very small) negatives were no elevator (we stayed on 4th floor and had lots of bags) and breakfast (only bread, pastries, coffee, and juice). We would highly recommend staying here, especially for the reasonably rate.

Hidden gem at a super convenient location in the very heart of Cannes, walking minutes away from Croisette, railway station, shuttle to airport...everything!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Conditioning (climatization!) and very clean. Went back twice on my way to and from S. Tropez. Great quality/price ratio.

Awesome location!

Hotel le Mistral is a vey comfortable hotel in the center of Cannes. You are one block from the beach right between the fashion and historical side of the town. Right down the street is the Palais de Festival, which is really cool. This isn't a luxury hotel so it doesn't have it's own private beach, but I feel the public beaches are just as nice.
The one main drawback is the lack of an elevator (which made being on the top floor more difficult). We couldn't hold it against the hotel though, and the staff was very nice and helpful giving an overview of the city when we checked in.
I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone is looking for affordable quality and is not afraid of some stairs.

Camera piccola ma molto pulita, posizione ottima in centro a Cannes, vicina alla stazione dei treni e alla spiaggia.
Personale molto gentile, su richiesta ci hanno prestato anche gli asciugamani per andare al mare.

Mancava il frigo nella stanza e un punto dove appoggiare comodamente la valigia

Très bon séjour !

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel, ça s'est très bien passé ! Le personnel est très accueillant et est à notre service.
La chambre est niquel est bien spacieuse pour 2 personnes.
Le seul petit inconvénient est l'isolation, nous entendions tout.
À part ça, très bon hôtel, très bien placé à côté de la gare et de la plage !

Présent dans la région pour un salon, l'Hotel Le Mistral est très bien placé, à 200M du Palais des festivals, et des bars.
Ne vous fiez pas a la façade qui peut faire peur (c'était mon cas), les chambres son suffisamment grandes pour y dormir, prendre sa douche et retourner travailles) sans oublier le prix qui est très attractifs pour la localisation de l'hôtel.

Par contre, je n'ai pas profité des services proposés afin de pouvoir les juger.

Je recommande pour un déplacement d'affaire, mais je n'irai pas dans cet hotel en famille.
