It was an okay hotel. The bathroom was interesting, not much counter space, a shower door than would bang on the toilet if u didn’t stop it in time, and water all over the floor after your shower. The walls are paper thin. They provided just one light pillow and just one small comforter. The room itself was solid. Not the greatest hotel I’ve been in, but was solid for one night and the prices.

I can't believe this hotel is part of the Ramada group; it did not meet our expectations. The facility is old, and our room needs painting and deep cleaning. The elevator door didn't fully close and appeared to be having issues. The grout in the shower was covered with mold, and the seal of the doors was falling off. The bathroom had poor lighting. There was a floor lamp in the room that didn't work. There was a tiny fridge in the room. The room also had three supportive chairs. It was near the airport in a rural setting, so it was in the flight pattern. Ramada charges 10 euros per person for the shuttle to the airport. We took a taxi to the property for ~12. There is a microwave in the reception area. The breakfast is extensive but pricey. We would not stay at this property again.

this place is in the hotel area of the airport, so there is basically nothing around except for other hotels. but if you need just a place to stay that is near the airport, it is clean, comfortable, and quiet. i didn't do the breakfast because i was leaving early. but you should consider it a good stay if you want to be near the airport and on a bus line, so easy to get to.

Picked for price and proximity to the airport. Everything was okay except for rude front desk staff and shuttle service. Only offer the service one way to the airport for $10Eu) found whe. Scrolling through the fine print. From airport to hotel is bus?? or taxi ($25Eu). Taxi drivers pissed cuz it’s a short trip for them. Next time, I’ll find another alternative.

As a frequent business traveler, I stay at many hotels but rarely write reviews. However, this Ramada location had such low standards that I feel obligated to warn fellow travelers.

UNSAFE ELEVATOR: This is genuinely dangerous. The electrical system has major problems causing the elevator to reset while you're inside. The cable system shakes severely during operation - it was so bad I ended up using the stairs with my luggage rather than risk it.

ROOM CONDITIONS: My electronic door lock was completely broken, forcing me to use an old-fashioned key with the lock mechanism visibly taken apart - it looked like a third-world operation. The carpets are disgustingly stained throughout and desperately need replacement. The shower head holder was broken with no way to keep it positioned, so I had to hold it with my hand while showering.

MANAGEMENT CLEARLY DOESN'T CARE: It's obvious from these conditions that management has no interest in proper upkeep or guest safety.

The front desk staff are polite but seem oblivious to the deteriorating condition - unfortunately they just work there and it's not their fault.

WARNING FOR BUSINESS TRAVELERS: This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in years. Please save yourself the disappointment and safety risk - find different accommodations near Munich Airport.

They use a taxi service for shuttle back-and-forth to the airport which is €10 per person. The taxi driver never got out of the car to help with luggage and brought everyone to one terminal and said it was a short walk to the second. It was definitely not a short walk. I could understand using a taxi service, but the service should have been better. It was a very short ride for us to pay €20 for that poor service.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. 1st the bathroom tiles were full of mildew, someone needs to show them how to clean. 2nd the Hair blower did not work properly, it would shut off after a few minuted. Lastly, the advertise Free shuttle to airfort. It is not free. If you stay here have some snack or food, there is no food near by.

Fawlty Towers would have been better

They lied on Hotels.com. This hotel does not have a shuttle bus. Had to rely on local bus number 512 (Atomis and Premier Inn hotels are closer to the bus stop) The pavement surface is not great for wheeled luggage. Hotel failed to deal with the repeated complaints about the lack of tea and coffee in my room. The lift was broken and judging by the \"out of service\" signs on the doors it had been for a while. I saw no evidence anyone was trying to repair the lift. One morning they had no hot breakfast due to \"power outage\" I didn't believe them!

Clean room. Could do better w/ shuttle connection.

The room was clean and I was staying for only one night so it didn’t matter much. However … few things to point out for future improvements.
1. The list included airport shuttle as one of the provided services. It wasn’t quite accurate. Apparently the airport to hotel shuttle stops at 1pm. But hotel check in time is 3pm. How does that work? I ended up taking the local bus 512 and after getting off the bus it was a five minute walk to the hotel entrance. Beware if you have big luggage or lots of baggage. Also beware the local bus only takes CASH!
2. The lift wasn’t working at the hotel during my stay. Lucky I travelled light. I didn’t have to move a lot of bags. The guy at check-in in front of me wasn’t so lucky.
3. The pillows were as flat as sheets rolled up … so request in advance if this is something important to you.
Overall, I’m glad I had a roof over my head for the night after landing late at MUC airport. Hope the management will look into these.

We have stayed here 3-4 times already and the last time was before Covid. The property right now is in terrible condition. Before Covid this was a great place.The room we stayed at was in a poor condition. There was mold in the bathroom and the carpet in the room was so dirty. They have increased the price from before significantly but there is nothing to support this increase. They need to update the rooms.

The staff was great. Theprice was perfect! Everything was closed because we were there during the Christmas Holiday. There were no restaurants to go to. We enjoyed walking around the farm and a VERY OLD cemetery by the property. The road the hotel is on is very busy. People drive crazy on it. The motorists speed. The road has lots of curves. The shuttle to the airport makes this hotel fantastic. Also, we have a Chihuahua. They accept small dogs.

Not to Ramada standards we are used, airport hotel

This property was not up to Ramada standards we thought. Bathroom floor wasn't clean, shower was weirdly shaped and you couldn't get the water to spray in the direction you needed. The shower door leaked water on the floor. No breakfast included. This is really just a place to crash on a long layover, nothing more.

Un expected stay

Location is a downside. We felt like we were in the middle of no where. They serve breakfast only for $18. No lunch or dinner. Two restaurants in walking distance. The day we were there the hotel was having problems with the internet. There is a grocery store about a 25 minute walk to buy water and snacks. If you want water a 6 oz bottle will cost you 4 euro. We asked for Ice, they did not have any. The hotel was short on everything. Pillows were not good.

Not terrible, but not a place I would stay again

This hotel served the purpose, but our room was nothing like it looked online. The shuttle to the airport was overly crowded, but still less than a taxi. There are no restaurants nearby, so eat before you get there. The room was clean, but a bit dingy. Pillows were terrible, very flat.

Be aware that this hotel does not have an air conditioner and is located right under the landing aircrafts. On my way back home it was hot outside. Opening a window was not an option due to deafening noise from landing aircrafts, and keeping windows close was also not an option due to high temperature in the room. However, if you know how to manage temperature, this is a great spot to land or take off.

This was a pit stop on my way from USA to Europe. Hotel staff gave me both rooms as soon as I arrived at noon, which is three times ahead of schedule. For a US traveller this is the most important criteria for a pit stop hotel. It is clean, quiet, with several food options within walking distance. I think have my hotel next time I travel to Europe via Munich.

The hotel shuttle driver was very erratic and would have left without asking who needs to go to the Ramada Hotel. He stopped without telling people the name of the stop or when to get out.

The hotel was not reachable via phone, even at different times and after several phone calls. When asked about it, they did not apologize or explain.

The room had black mold in the shower.

Awful, when we arrived they tried to put us in a room that had no working room key only the staff master one, when we went to the room we realised the window and balcony door could not be opened, to stay in this room would have been completely unsafe as the heat was unbearable due to no air con either, when we asked to move we were just told they were fully booked. Eventually a woman who had some common sense told us they would move us in to a room that some had booked for the following night. This proved to be adequate.
The beds had one very poor pillow when I asked for an additional pillow I was told as the hotel was fully booked there were none available! I have never stayed in a hotel where extra pillows or linen were not available even when fully booked.
The hotel is listed as having a bar and restaurant they have neither and the very expensive airport shuttle is not provided at frequent enough intervals. There are no shops nearby.
This is definitely one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, the area is inconvenient but if you must stay here there are other hotels that provide a bunch better experience even when fully booked

Was wakened by noisy children allegedly on complaining being told the terrible midnight shouting and furniture moving was coming from the staff quarters area rooms 1-5 zone.
This was right below my room and I went to complain to get them to shut up!
I won’t return and wouldn’t recommend the place.
I’d prepaid and waited far too long to be checked in again because of only 1 slow staff member dealing with a couple who were moving through the check in process at a snail like pace.
More customer service staff on desk at peak times needed !

Check-in staff was very friendly, prompt and accommodating. We went down for our complimentary croissant before our 5am shuttle, and the front desk guy was not helpful at all. Seemed like we were a bother, and we had to leave before he could get the croissants.
