Really liked the cottage. Could've been a tad more cleaner, like under the couches and maybe a mopped floor. Absolutely loved having the clean towels and sheets! The enclosed front porch, side porch and really comfy outdoor chairs, definitely a bonus as well! Otherwise, enjoyed our stay. Was quiet and relaxing. Ps. Being keyless...loved!

Property was in a good location away from traffic but close enough to plenty of food, shopping and fun things to do. Cottage was clean and in a gated code access community. Loved the screened porch with a fan for a nice breeze. Our cottage had full kitchen and bath room with 2 bedrooms….1 with a queen bed the other with a queen bed with twin bunk over also a pull out couch in living room providing plenty of comfortable sleeping space. Community pool was in a central location easy walking distance from cottages. We may have just found our new favorite place to stay!!

Ants every night, massive yellow stains all over the floors, massive stains on the mattress and in the sheets they gave us for the week. Biggest complaint was how unclean it was. The shower was also improperly sealed and leaked water all over the floor which wouldn’t have been a big deal, but they gave two people (my stay) 2 total towels for 6 days and 5 nights so had we not brought some of our own we would have been unable to use the bathroom.

Overall good little spot for some college kids. All 6 of us were 21+, and thought this was a good inexpensive place near beach. Our one bedroom did not lock and the bathroom sink leaked, which I messaged about. The bathroom door, I thought did not lock until some fanageling by locking it then pushing it closed. There is one designated parking spot at your cottage, but various guest parking near or at the front of the property. Laundry cost $3 per wash/dry. There is no oven, which is our fault for buying frozen food. Very clean though. It is a bit small for 6 people, which it is advertised “sleeps 6”, but since we’re all young, we made it work. Enough towels were provided. The AC and tv can kinda be confusing because the AC remote works for both the one in the living room and master bed. Then the tv remotes kinda tricky because there was one for the living room and master bed. The tv in the bunk bed did not have a remote, but I think one of the other remotes works for it because it would randomly be turned on, I assumed from other tvs being used (not sure at all and did not message about this). The screened in porch was very nice. Everything else provided was good and accurate to the listing.

We absolutely loved this place. The cabins are super modern and comfortably slept a family of 5. It's 1 mile from the shopsand restaurants in Berlin, and only 2 miles from the inlet bridge. Would absolutely recommend. Pool seemed awesome, but the weather was too cool to use. It's like a tiny little neighborhood, and had it been nicer, we would have been comfortable letting the kids ride their bikes around. The only \"complaint\" we had was that the cabins have hot water tanks, and not tankless, so we ran out of hot water the first night, pretty quickly. We adapted pretty quickly, and all was well. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Shore Point Cottages! The cottage was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. We loved having our own private parking space, which made everything so convenient. The outdoor fire pit was a great bonus and the perfect spot to relax in the evening.

The location is excellent—just minutes from the beach, restaurants, and amusement parks, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We were able to get to the beach in about 5 minutes and had plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby.

Overall, it was a comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend Shore Point Cottages and look forward to coming back! 🌊🏖️🔥

Everything was perfect. Got a good rate, but because it was off season. Place itself was great! Rooms are on the smaller side but good for our stay. We had 5 people, plus our therapy dog who absolutely loved the screened porch being that her & her momma live in Brooklyn😉.
Would highly recommend. Close to everything. If you're on the younger side or a runner, beach is walkable. Overall, perfect time!!

Beware that you will only receive 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person for the entire stay. We were not aware of this at all and had to actually go out and buy some. Had we known, we would’ve brought from home.

Our cottage had splatters of something in a couple of areas when we arrived. We talked to the property manager and he did come the next day and cleaned those for us. The property is in a good location for food, activities, etc. The cottages are a little small inside but for just two of us it was okay. Had we had six like it says it holds it would’ve been very tight and not comfortable.

Love this place — we use it all the time now and it’s become one of our favorites. It feels safe with the fence all the way around and the gate at the entrance. The rooms are always clean. We also like the location — shopping is nearby, Ocean City is close, and Assateague is nearby too. Very convenient and one of our go-to places to stay.

The location is one of the best things about it — it’s just minutes from shopping, Ocean City, and Assateague Island, but it’s tucked away in a quieter area without heavy traffic, so it feels peaceful at the same time.

Having your own private cottage is a huge plus. You don’t have to worry much about hearing neighbors, and you also don’t have to worry about your family making too much noise for anyone else. It gives you a lot more privacy and makes the whole stay feel more relaxed.

Free parking and the pool are nice extras, and the gated property gives it an added sense of security. For us, it’s been a really comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we’d definitely come back.

Hello. This is my second time staying here and I was quite disappointed. I loved the setup of this cottage more than the first one. However, it definitely was lacking in the cleanliness area. There were no extra trash bags. When I removed the only bag, there were old chicken bones in the bottom of the trash can. Also, the one frying pan was TOTALLY disgusting - full of oil/lard, so I had to wash it to use it. The sheets on the bed I used (by the bathroom) was dirty - there was hair and other unidentifiable specs of stuff on it. I ended up using a blanket from my car and then running to the Walmart the next day to buy a sheet set to throw on top. Also missing lids, cooking utensils, etc. Very disappointed as my first stay there earlier in the year was great! Cottage was super clean and everything was in order. This one even smelled like cigarettes and I thought this was a smoke-free facility. Hopefully, someone will see this and respond as I definitely want to return. Hoping the issues are addressed. Thanks.

The location of shore point cottages is a pleasant and peaceful one. It's far enough out of the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk area. Yet close enough to everything that makes Ocean City a fun place to visit. Definitely a place to come back to and stay again.

Well maintained properties and very comfortable. We loved that every unit had their own firepit and chairs around it. Next year we won't come during bike week, very noisy and annoying. I believe without the motorcycles it's the perfect place to stay.

It was very nice just needs to he cleaner. Cleaning on the staff has to be better. There were only 2 remotes when we stayed there. Not 3. But theres 3 tvs. Alot of junk left behind. From the people previous. Staff should do some kind of cleaning before new ppl arrive.

Shore Point Cottages are the best place to stay when traveling to Maryland to visit Ocean City with a family & fur baby. The location was perfect, close enough to all the fun of Ocean City, but away from the noise at night. The cottage was more like a small house then a hotel room. A deluxe cottage has the perfect amount of space for 2 adults & 2 children 10 & 19yrs old, as well as our 10lb dog. Prior to coming to Shore Point I took the time to read all the reviews from previous guests & was able to pack all the things people typically complained about not having. That made our stay perfect & we had everything we needed without frustration. We will definitely stay at Shore Point Cottages again. Chuck the manager that is on-site made our stay wonderful.

It was honestly perfect. Compared in pricing to hotels on the strip/boardwalk, for a liiiittle extra, you get your own little house. It’s still so close to the boardwalk, you’re close to the strip, and so many amazing restaurants and activities right by the property. Will definitely be back

My family and I love it here. Everyone is so friendly, cottages are very clean . We've stayed here two years in a row now!! Only one suggestion. We have a large dog and she was able to turn the handle and get out. Maybe look into actually door knobs!!! Thanks for listening, see you next year!!

Very nice comfy cottages, really close to the beach many other attractions, grocery stores, and many other things near by. Would recommend for a small family, has a nice pool. Cottage was very clean and accommodating with having your basics available for cooking. Would definitely be booking again in the near future!

Not bad but not great.

The gated community was really cute & the cottage was clean. However, the place was a little small for the price you pay & was not as comfortable as I would've liked. The sofa bed was very springy & unbearable. We had to use a blowup bed instead. Overall experience was ok.

We adored the cottage, it was a really nice stay. I do have to say that there was an ant issue- literally crawling everywhere. However, Chuck helped us out right away (shoutout to him!!) with this issue, and we still enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay with no complaints! The entire facility was extremely clean and well maintained- shout out to Chuck! We utilized the well stocked kitchen- including a small coffee maker, utensils, plates and glassware. Our unit had a spacious fridge and freezer. The AC units worked well, 1 bedroom didn’t have a ceiling fan and got toasty. Some things to realize ahead of time for a beach vacation: 1. We only had 4 small bath towels supplied for a family of four. 2. There is only 1 washer and 1 dryer for the entire location, so it can be a struggle to squeeze in in a busy schedule. We only had rain through the nights during our visit but nothing really dried hanging on the screened-in porch.

Overall good!

The property is well maintained. There was a broken door and a missing remote felt like it could’ve been a little bit cleaner. The rooms were very small and not a lot of place for luggage, but it was very convenient in away from all the noise. There’s a snowcone place right next-door to the property that we walked to and it was excellent. Definitely try it.

There is a bad fly problem in the unit.  Every fly we killed 2 more appeared.  The 2nd bedroom had an awful odor coming from the bed.  The maintenance person came and gave us new bedding but there was still an odor.  The unit is way too small for a family of more than 3. The kitchen had limited utensils to make breakfast.  Will definitely NOT be returning.

I didnt like that fact that the place had so many flies upon getting inside. I had to kill so many before i could settle down. The refrigerator had so many strands of hair in it and not clean at all. The celing fans has so much dust on them. The bunk bed didnt have a proper twin size bed sheet they used a draw sheet as the bottom sheet. The 2nd bed room didnr have a remote to the tv. The floors were not moped they were dirty. The pillows were not clean. They had major stains on them. The pots and pans were horrible and were so huge industrial like. Couldve gotten a nice set from Walmart.

The cottage was well supplied very clean and very comfortable. We were amazed how quiet it was given the amount of cottages. Great location close to Berlin MD, Ocean City and Assateaque. Many places to eat close to the cottage if you do not feel like driving to O. C.. We will be returning to the cottages this fall.

Disappointing

We were excited to stay at Shore Point Cottages for its location and charm, but it fell short. Check-in was strictly at 4pm, yet our cabin wasn’t ready. We waited 25 minutes past that while cleaning finished, despite being told it would only take five.

Inside, the space felt rushed—scuffed walls, watered-down soap, and glue left on the floor. The screened-in porch was unusable due to strong cigarette smoke from a nearby unit.

The final straw came when the manager approached us in the pool about a review I left—publicly, in front of other guests. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. We cut our trip short.

Some guests may enjoy it, but for us, it was a letdown and not worth the time off. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Relaxing and Peaceful

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There was plenty of room for us and in a perfect location. They are a short drive from Assateague and the boardwalk. The outside grounds were well maintained. There's a small pool however we didn't have time to enjoy it. Each time we drove by it looked very busy. Easy check-in and checkout. When we arrived we spent an hour killing over 20+ flies inside the cottage. The screened in porch was an added bonus but also full of flies and mosquitoes. The floors also needed a good mopping. The sheets and towels were clean however the comforters haven't been washed in awhile. We will certainly consider staying again in the future.

It suited us for our weekend. The walls are scuffed up, and the \"night stands\" were falling away from the walls. There was a terrible odor in the bathroom like mold/must- more than likely dog urine. TVs only have streaming services. Felt cramped, larger individuals would not do well renting these. Overall 4 stars. We only slept and showered there. My daughter rented another while we were there and hers was perfect!

Best getaway ever!

It was a nice, quiet getaway for me and my dog. Very clean modern amenities. Location close to highways, beaches and stores. Communication was great and other guests were friendly. Truly enjoyed everything. Would definitely return!

Porch area not swept. Dog hair everywhere. And garbage bags still on the porch at check in time . Could been a busy weekend. Top covers of beds need washing . A few towels with dirt stains. The cottage was roomy with basic appliances. Cosy place to stay for quick getaway.

Nice and new with little issues

We did enjoy the little cottage and the amenities that came with it. It was clean and new. Our cottage said it sleeps six but I think that would be tight for 6 people. It could work for a couple with small kids. My husband and I are not small people so we each took a bedroom. Note: space is tight between the bed and wall.

Unfortunately the outlets in both bedrooms did not work so we had brought and extension cord to use for our CPAPs. We also noticed the plywood on the bed frame sticks out and my husband cut his leg. We gave feedback to them on these items.

We would stay again as long as these items were fixed or in another cottage with no issues.

The location is ideal for traveling to several towns in the area. We did find the sleeper sofa unusable (blocked the exit too much) and the kitchenette was lacking a few expected items. However, the unit was fantastic made for a great family vacation spot. We shall return.
