I booked a low value room, so really got what I expected. Had hot water a bed and parking. I only stayed one night leaving early the next morning so fine for what I needed. Had issue with TV remote which staff sorted quickly.

This place is what it is for the price you pay. The gentleman on reception carried my bags for me and was warm and friendly. The place was clean but could do with a full refurb. Free parking was a bonus and home bargains being opposite. The water was cold in the shower but hot in the tap and the tray was backing up, I have fed this back to them. Having a kettle, fridge, tea, coffee, milk and a tv was useful. Also a usb plug by the bed.

Not safe, doors don’t lock properly… hotel dirty, stains all over the bed sheets.. asked the management about changing the sheets and got laughed at, wouldn’t stay here again if i was paid too , booked 4 nights left after 1… stay far away unless you like people doing drugs and begging on the hotel door step

The hotel room was basic, but clean and tidy. The room consisted of bedroom, kettle,mini fridge, chaise lounge and en suite (shower was excellent) .
The room was clean, if you like a hard mattress then you will love this room. If you like warm room, you will love this room. Turned the thermostat down but was still really warm (no good if menopausal flushes). Home bargains straight opposite, bus into liverpool every 10-15minutes. Will be back

The room was clean, but not as nice as the photos. The tv did not work, there was no cup/ mug or spoon to facilitate making a coffee. I spoke to reception, they said I would have to wait until the next day. The following day I was moved to a new room which was better but no towel in the bathroom. The whole setup was ver amateurish. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone.

You get what you pay for.

Rooms are a lot smaller than the photos show. We did pay to move to a bigger room, as for 2 people with luggage for a week, the first room was too small.
The 2nd room was a lot better. It is what you pay for. It’s a place to get your head down.
Limited parking. Twice had to park on the road, as no room in the car park.

The Bed was very comfortable. The Staff were ok. There was no eating facility but i knew that. There was plenty of tea and coffee available. Wi fi was excellent. Toilet shower facilities were good. Tv worked well. For the money yes it was basic but good in my opinion. I would stay again if i couldn’t find other availabilities in my preferred places.

One smear too many

I didn't have high expectations for this hotel after reading reviews and also for the price £59 for a busy Saturday night anywhere near Liverpool was always going to be basic I think.
On arrival (2.45pm) i had to press the doorbell and the person who answered told me check in was not until 3pm (fair enough). I asked if we could just park in the car park and they said yes and then checked me in anyway, explained key card to me and where room was. Going up to the room it was obvious from all the various air fresheners that they were trying to mask a smell. Got to the room and it was OK. Small, which is fine. Dusty and dirty. Not so fine. There was a brown smear on the bathroom sink which did clean off but it all felt unclean. More brown smears on wall in room. The bedding looked clean enough but the mattress sheet had what looked like cigarette burn holes in and it was obvious that nobody had ever thought to vacuum along the top of the headboard or behind the bed. TV was held onto its bracket but 1 screw which seemed a bit ominous and tiles missing above bathroom door. The bed base looked like it had seen much better days too. I was relieved to be leaving after 1 night. Ultimately you get what you pay for but i think it could still be much cleaner. Pictures of smear, dust and big cobweb above bed

The place was fine, the area was not the most comfortable place to be with having a few slurs yelled at me from cars passing by. Not the properties fault but something to keep in mind if you’re Queer. The room really felt dingy and not properly cleaned the bed is right up against the curtains and they looked very dirty. You get what you pay for I suppose but still was hoping for a bit better

Property was very run down, very dirty and alot of noise through the night. Carpets had not been hoovered arou d the property, furniture and beds left in the corridors. On arrival we were told that it was a non smoking room which when we entered, smoke was all you could smell and the wallpaper looked stained with what looked like nicotine. Fair enough we only paid £50 to get our heads down for the night but its only fair people are aware prior booking.

The staff here are excellent and very much available, you just need to press the buzzer at reception. Tv, shower, kettles all provided and great power to the shower. Looks like they are refurbishing some rooms but theres no noise. There's a small amount of traffic noise if you are roadside but not annoying. Free Wi-Fi.

We picked this hotel as we were staying in the city for a football game and the whole weekend was pretty much booked out in most hotels close by.
Initially I thought the price and location was decent and we were kindly told by hotel staff beforehand we could park car in their car park.

We picked up our key card before going out to watch the football game so never got to see the room until we came back later on.
In the evening, there was no one on reception, which is fine as that's what the posters at the entrance said.
We went to our room via a couple of floors without a lift and I noticed the carpets were very dirty so it wasn't the best start.
In the room, the wallpaper behind the bed was missing in some areas near the light fittings. The headboard itself was filthy. (Luckily?) I didn't realise until the morning as I wouldn't have slept in the bed otherwise. The red runner on the bed was dirty when I took it off the bed, especially on the underside. It looked like it had never been washed.
The furniture was very worn out and had obviously seen better days.
There was a microwave and fridge upstairs on the mezzanine type area. I didnt use either. The fridge obviously hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival as it still had food in it from a previous occupier. Gross.

The couch upstairs was also disgusting. Dirty marks all over it. Including possibly what looked like cigarette burns. I've never seen dirtier furniture anywhere. It may have been better if it wa

This hotel, was not fit for purpose. There was a disgusting smell in the room, a bit like a public lavatory, no toiletries, only one towel and there are 2 of us staying. There was dust every where. The only plus point was the one towel we had was lovely and clean and so was the bedding.

we didn't stay as we though we might catch something from the pityful conditions.

When we arrive there were 3 drunks sitting on the steps outside, so not a great start.

We only booked it because it was cheap and everything else was fully booked, but we still paid £179.00, which was a complete rip off. We had to drive 5 hours to get home, as we just couldn't stay in that room.

Expedia obviously have not been to this property to check it out , so they shouldn't be using it. Finally, the pictures must be very old as they are not true to life.

We would like our money back please? Not a good advert for Expedia I'm afraid.

The pictures on the website do not reflect the reality of the rooms. We booked 2 yet only entered one, it was terrible! The room was cold, smelly and certainly not worth the money we paid, completely disgraceful, so much so we didn’t stay. Upon returning to reception to hand back the key and complain there were no staff in site!!!! Absolutely appalling will never recommend or stay here, it is a complete rip off.

Good value for money

Very clean and good value for money, here was no hand soap in the dispenser upon arrival and/or body soap for the shower which meant we had to buy our own. Also only one small towel was provided for two people to use, at the least there should be two medium towels provided. Otherwise comfy bed and tv with Netflix which was a great extra.

This place was an absolute disgrace, built into a rough council estate you had to be buzzed in by the receptionist. We got to the room and to begin there was no curtains on the window only a blind made out of crepe paper and the window was looking out onto people’s back gardens, light fittings and plug sockets hanging off the walls we went to our friends room and while walking through the hotel there was light fittings hanging from the roof which you had to walk around, damp and mould on the walls and windows, chairs with broken legs on the stair way covering holes in the walls ladders left in the hall way. Our friends room was much the same as ours with a few extra broken chairs. We left after a half an hour and found somewhere else and now the booking company are only offering me a 40 euro coupon for my next stay after paying 110 euro being out of pocket cause I had to book somewhere else last minute and the stress it caused me and my friends. I’m absolutely disgusted with the service and facilities of both the hotel and hotels.com. NEVER AGAIN!

We arrived and our room had been changed as internet wasnt very good in toom theyd previously booked us into. Couldnt open bedroom window as the noise outside was horrendous. Room was stifling. Bad nights sleep. Woke to have a shower. Plug blocked with hair - disgusting. Blocked the shower, hair swimming around feet, only to get out half washed and bathroom floor was flooded. Went to reception to report it. No staff to be seen. Still awaitlng to hear from Manager/Owner, as we have requested compensation. He said we'd hear yesterday as managed to get hold of him on the phone. Still nothing.

The spport and reception crew are practically non-existant, only this dude that;s a couple of hours in, he seems to live on the top floor and via closed circuit knows who comes and goes but you have to ring a bell to have him come down.
The place itself is a very old house converted into a guest house/motel, the renovations and refurbishments are marginally enough for a paid customer, cheap fittings and crammed spaces, rug is not that old but the cleaning is mediocre at best, some furniture is damaged, cobwebs on the ceiling on common areas.
they advertised commodities like fridges and microwave ovens but in reality just a couple of rooms have those, these are NOT spacious rooms, some are even a closet with a bed.
this place is definitely not fit for a hotel marking.

First contact with the receptionist was to tell me that she had to leave early so I needed to be at the hotel by 10pm or her manager would have to check me in at 11pm. Unfortunately i made it to the property at 10:03 and she was gone. So I found myself locked out of the building on a rainy and cold night. I called the mobile number on the door and the manager said he was sending someone to check me in within 10 minutes. Meanwhile some guests went out and let me in. The receptionist arrived, annoyed and told me off for showing up aftr the time she had told me. I do not pay to be shouted at by a receptionist and when a hotel says its reception is open until 11pm, they need to arrange so. The receptionist said she left at 21:59. I really did not like her attitude. Then the room did not lock. Neighbours seemed to have the same issue, from hearing how many times they tried. There were stains on the bed sheets, towels and walls, furniture was broken. The velux had been left open, room was freezing and there was no way to shut it nor anyone to ask. I had to climb onto a sofa and risk falling off it and down the stairs to be able to shut it without any success and didn’t sleep well as the wind kept making a whizzing sound through it all night. The shower kept running hot and cold. It was cheap and there were no other affordable option when I booked. The room itself, had it been maintained properly, was spacious and would have been great otherwise.

Plumbing was terrible. The sliding shower door was installed the wrong way so the whole for was flooded after a shower. The shower attachment was also loose and spraying water everywhere. Used the tap in the sink at night and it would not shut off, thus was running on full power all night.

Booked the deluxe room and had to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to it only to find a loft room with a double bed restricted in height by roof beams and I'm assuming the deluxe part was a microwave and Netflix. Moved to a ground floor room with carpets with large holes and burns in and the bedside tables falling apart. The positive side was the room was warm and bedding clean but no fresh towels over the 2 days stay. It's fair to say it was basic accommodation but I still believe it was overpriced for the condition of the room. Definitely no frills and convenient for where I was going. Reception man was very pleasant when there if a little disinterested.

Pleasant stay just outside Liverpool centre

The hotel rooms are nicely decorated and furnished and relatively spacious. The room decor is good with a good shower and bathroom area.The common areas are a little shabby and rather dark. Staff are friendly and helpful, but the reception is only partially staffed - until 11 at night and from 10 am.The surrounding area is not at all salubrious, but it is only 10 minutes walk to the train station and 15 minutes to central Liverpool. The hotel itself is quiet.Overall if central Liverpool is expensive ( usually because of football)then it’s an acceptable option to stay here.

We stayed recently as my daughter had interview at uni. Both our rooms were extremely spacious with a fridge and microwave. Even had stairs in the room. Daughters bathroom was upstairs but mine had extra double bed upstairs. Very quiet. Woujd highly recommend a stay here if going into Liverpool as the metro station is only a 10 min walk and the metro took 15 mins into central Liverpool! Very clean and comfortable. Would def stay again if returning.

Tiny room. Nowhere to put the luggage. The shower door can only open half way before hitting the sink. I left behind some souvenirs and I hoped they could be posted at my cost, a week later it seems they will not be replying. On the bright side it is 5 minutes walk to Merseyrail and supermarket.

Right, where do I begin,

Upon arrival at the hotel, there’s was nowhere to park dues to all 6 spaces taken up, on first looks it didn’t look too bad but once we got into the room it was a whole new story, to start off with the room was a lot smaller than I originally thought it was, there was 2 holes in the wall which is rather odd, the carpet was not fitted properly, there was a desk without a chair, bearing in mind there was two of us staying there was only one mug for a cuppa, the bathroom was okay, there were a few dirty marks on the tiles and the shower couldn’t decide wether it wanted to stay warm or cold so it fluctuated, the bed was a little uncomfy and dirty, had hairs from whom was last staying in the room, and well we had a delightful view from our window of a rather nice red wall and a few broken desk chairs,

Fine

The hotel was fine, definitely value for money, comfy and clean. The reception is not always manned and it was hard to get a response from the phone numbers you use to get the attention of the receptionist.

Good, quiet sleep

The area around looked a little run-down, but the accommodation was fine. The rooms were a little on the smaller side but had fridgrs & microwaves in them, so we could be self-sufficient. The lady at check-in was nice, giving my travelling companion information about where to go & how to get there. We walked after dark to the local Tescos with no problems & the area was quiet.

Booked for 1 night only,room (101) was tiny but adequate for my needs,had a tv,fridge and kettle but nowhere to put your bag.bathroom,well,sit on the toilet and your knees were under the sink,shower door would only open a third of the way before it hits the sink,shower had good water pressure.
