It is an older property and has not been maintained well. We arrived late at night and had requested 2 king size room with a pull out bed in each (it's an available option). The pull out bed were not available in one of the rooms while the other one had a very dirty mattress. I had to request bedding and a bed. While after a conversation with the reception who could not believe that the room did not have a pull out bed, finally accommodated a wheeled bed for my daughter. Since they did not have housekeeping while I was complaining about the dirty mattress they gave me sheets for both rooms to carry back to the rooms. The only helpful person in all of this was the bellboy who at least tried to help mitigate the circumstances . To top it all, the bathrooms in one of the rooms had a large hole behind the toilet! We were too tired to argue about that after a long flight anda long day and especially after managing the fiasco with the beds. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great room, nice pool area, nice shuttles. Check-in was extremely slow. Stood in line for 20 minutes. Something about cruise crew members needing vouchers and long check in process. Maybe have a second attendant for standard check-in guests.

Breakfast that was included, every morning they all wanted to make me pay for it again, so I I did not speak up for myself they would’ve make me pay for sure . As well as the parking. They literally make hotel guest pay for parking even though they’re already paying for their stay in the hotel.

Food was very delicious for a hefty price, but it's miami, so get used to it.
Old building with very dated rooms. No way to adjust temperature in the room. Access to pool and hot tub. The hot tub was incredible! Good customer service. However no way to call front desk from the room.

I was in room 830 and the people in 828 loudly argued until 3am and started again at 6am. I was traveling most of the day and didn’t get to my room until 10:30pm. I was exhausted and couldn’t sleep due to the noise. I called the front desk at 2am to complain about the noise however, the arguing continued for another hour.

The parking situation was a hurdle, have to pay for the adjoining lot and walk through the mart to find the lobby. The pool and hot tub were the highlight, very nice set up. Room was clean and bed was comfortable but hallway carpets have seen better days. There was a hiccup with getting our prepaid breakfast because we checked out prior to dining. This lead to an uncomfortable confrontation with the staff in understanding what the word prepaid meant when we asked the front desk for a refund and they condescendingly said you didn’t have breakfast yet so nothing to refund. Eventually we got there and she resolved the matter. Overall it was fine for a one night stay to catch an early flight, close to airport.

Coffee maker didn't work, called front desk and no one answers. Asked for another one and took an hour and the maid didn't speak English, she brings another and it didn't work either. Thermostat didn't work, was freezing all night long! They told us the are renovating and didn't get to our room yet....lol....won't stay there again!

I typically give positive reviews but this one set me back. Started with HOT WATER. Needed to actually run the shower for 30 minutes before any hot water would come out. 2nd was a credit card overcharge on my AMEX where I paid for parking for 2 nights then they billed me for another 2 nights. I went back and forth texting with staff and hotel with no action. Even got a text with General Manager Winston who asked about my stay and any feedback. When I asked him to help me NO RESPONSE. The staff would say they are looking into it but NO RESOLUTION. This took 2 days of nothing so I finally called AMEX opened up dispute and they credited me back. The hotel is nice but if you want any attention to your affairs just forget it. They don’t care and it appears they have SELECTIVE HEARING.

Room was NOT what we reserved. Staff didn’t care. Breakfast was HORRIBLE! Used tissues in the bathroom. This was one of the WORST hotels. Pictures are so out of date. This hotel is old!!!! No microwave or mini fridge. Had to throw away a lot of food because of this. Honestly, if I could get my money back I would.

If you book their shuttle through concierge be careful I was told different pricing and almost impossible to get through to the hotel to arrange return trip
If you don’t mind a few hassles it’s ok

The staff was very patient. when you have a convention of over 2000 attending, you need more than 2-3 people at check-in. The rooms were not cleaned in time for 4 pm check-in. No microwave or refrigerator. The nobs on the bathroom sink are about to come off. There are two huge spots on the carpet in front of the television. Room 631

The staff was very nice the room not so much. We paid for a room for 6 because we needed to use the pull out sofa. The mattress was falling apart the springs were exposed all the way around it. I've never seen a mattress in such bad shape. The bathtub had a constant drip and there were some bugs crawling around, I assume cockroaches. I asked to change rooms but of course they were full and there were no other rooms. The staff was friendly but the only way to get ahold of them was to go downstairs and wait at the front desk. I was never able to get an answer when I tried calling. I would not reccomend staying there for the price I paid.

Everything at this particular hotel cost no complimentary breakfast, the airport shuttle hours should be extended in the mornings since it’s offered.
Other than those things the staff was good except for one of the ladies at the restaurant possibly Indian older lady possibly manager. She was really aggressive when we were trying to look around and see what was available. The desk staff did a good job with accommodating early arrivals I give them 5 stars. Those 3 only.

The room was dirty. We had to go buy Air freshener so that we could stay in the room. The smell was horrible. the carpet was stained. The refrigerator was off and smelled terrible when we went to use it. I called and ask for Coffee packet refill and waited 12 hours and still did not receive it. We did enjoy the cookies. We have stayed at many Double Tree hotels and this was a huge let down compared to others.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect. Loved having a restaurant at the hotel. The only problem we had was getting the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. There was a significant miscommunication about where we were getting picked up. We called several times and no one picked up the phone or we would call and immediately get disconnected. After 2 hours, we were finally picked up.

Room was clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Restaurant food delicious, staff attentive, seated quickly.
Front Desk staff was very helpful…I needed to hem two pair of pants and they dug out lots of sewing kits for me.
My only issue was the airport shuttle. I arrived at the airport around 4:30 pm and it seems like lots of planes arrive then. Two shuttles were already full by the time they reached stop 22 near United airlines. I ended up trudging all the way to the international arrivals section at shuttle stop 4 to make sure to get an empty shuttle so I could get a seat and bag storage in back. More shuttles needed at that timeframe, with some bypassing the first couple of stops in order for domestic flight passengers to have a loading chance at shuttle stops 21, 22, 23.

The person that checked us in says that our room isn’t ready even though it was almost 3pm and that if we signed up for Hilton reward she could give us another room for free, which she gave us two queens instead of our king. The room had a broken toilet, so we had to get another room. And she didn’t even give us cookies.

The room had odd scrapping and creaking sounds at intervals all night, the first night of our stay. The housekeeping staff, even after requesting that our room be cleaned, never cleaned the room. The front desk staff were very helpful in assisting our needs to add an extra day because of flight delays however.

I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort for travelers.

Room had a weird musty smell. I booked a junior suite for a family of 5, requested extra comforter and pillow, took them forever after calling multiple times. Guy at the front desk during check in ws rude. Parking is not free. And expedia messed up my booking to include breakfast. Overall, it ws inconvenient and a terrible experience.
