I had an unexpected experience. The police came knocking on my door, asking if I had sprayed paint on a wall. They had written my room number on it, just like in a horror movie. I asked them to change rooms, telling them it was my first time in the country and I didn't know if they could do anything to me or if they were racist towards Latinos. In the end, they told me that a prostitute who hadn't been paid wanted to expose the people who hired her by writing their room number on the wall, but she was so drunk that she wrote mine. At least when I asked to change rooms they did, but nobody expects that when you travel to another country for the first time.

Freezing cold shower with no shampoo in the dispenser. Sadly I was here for footy which means they hike the price up to £280 per night, which makes those facts even more annoying. Would be fine for the usual £40 though, if they sort the shower out. Advice if you’re coming for Liverpool game, just bite the bullet and spend a bit more for somewhere nicer

Room was clean, and staff were fantastic , bed not very comfortable, unfortunately the walls are extremely thin, one set of neighbours were arguing in the early hours, the other side, let’s say they actives left nothing to the imagination, which whilst that’s not the fault of the hotel, a warning of lack of sound proofing would be appreciated.

Sometimes you DO get what you pay for.

Despite reading several reviews about the poor quality of bed mattresses, I took a chance. Bad choice. Uneven springs. Smell from bathroom permiated the room. This is a budget hotel - remember that. However the cost was still over $100 per night. Great location - walking distance from most Beatles sites and great museums.

A/C wasn't powerful, but a couple hours was fine.

Really it was an experience of an EasyHotel that made me book, and if it's cheap sure, but if I had another competitor at the same price I would easy go to them.

The bathroom door is one of those stupid glass ones with a hole to grab. If you're on your own, absolutely fine, but even with another person it's a bit awkward to say the least! What is the point I have no idea .

The only thing i wasnt really keen on is the size of the room. lt was on point of being very cramped, with not a lot of room to move about, especially if you're on the larger size of life...Otherwise it was clean, comfy, convenient and reasonably priced for the city. This is so my second time staying here so it must be good !

Stayed for two nights, the room was ideal for what I needed, clean and efficient,
the staff were polite. My only problem was the bed, after sleeping on what I can only describe as a block of concrete for 2 nights, my back has seized up and I am in agony with it. I mentioned it to the staff at checkout and they said they will mention it to the management. If I ever stay here again I will be hanging upside down in the shower to sleep

Does exactly what it says on the tin.

This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin. It served it purpose. The location is the best part. Literally, few minutes walk from Matthew Street. And about 5-10 minutes from Albert Dock. Hotel check in was quick and easy. The rooms are a little on the small side. But, I wasn't massively bothered by that.

The only downside is the beds. A little on the hard side for my liking. And only one pillow, per person.

Other than that, a very good stay at Easy Hotel.

Perfect for solo travelers

Lovely stay for a night in Liverpool. Small room but everything you need and a reasonable price. Staff was always available and very helpful with storing bags, etc. stayed in a Sunday night and was quiet and no issues, could see it being louder on Friday/Saturday potentially. Would happily stay here again.

Hotel and room very basic but was only for a night and suited my requirements, as just a resting place before bringing our son home from uni the following day. I did miss that there was hot drinks available in the reception, as there was no facilities in the room, but as said it was very reasonably priced and suited me. Would have liked at least a glass to have some water, but apart from that it was a nice clean room, as was the bathroom. The air con was also good but did turn itself off after a while, so I did wake up in the room in the night and need to reboot it as was a warm night.

When booking this we knew it was going to be a basic hotel and we were totally fine with that. 3 people 2 rooms 9 nights. Only $1500 AUD. Amazing price…. We only ever use the hotel to sleep when in Liverpool UK

But there is no place to put anything, no side tables, no bench, in the bathroom everything needs to go on the floor and the beds OMG - the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Hard, thin and low. - maybe okay for one night if you’re drunk.

We changed hotels after one night, travel lodge Edge Lane - outstanding. Thank you !!! I don’t even care about paying more money we just needed to get out of there! Easy hotel clean but cheep amd very uncomfortable.

Rooms really small with no hooks/ hangers to put anything. Nowhere to put bags/ clothes?
Only one towel and thin pillow provided, however extras available from reception.
Having said all that, the location was excellent and it would not put us off using again- I would just look at booking bigger room.

The structure of the building is amazing. My room was in the middle part of the building and I didn't hear the street below at all even though the hotel is right in between a street filled with restaurants and stores and I didn't hear. It was very silent and since there were no windows in the room, it was very easy to sleep in that room. The reception staff was very professional, kind and helpful. I'd personally give this place a 4.8 out of 5 because the hand soap dispenser barely had any soap in it when I checked in and I noticed that the corners of the room weren't properly sweeped because there was lint and dust and there was hair on the night stand so the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. I was very impressed with the receptionist staff, as soon as I addressed the issue with the soap dispenser, they took care of it very quickly.

Also, I recommend asking the hotel staff for a room that isn't right next to the staircase. I was in the room right in the middle so it was nice that my room only shared a wall with the person behind me but since one side of my room was literally right next to the staircase I could hear people coming and going through the stairs and the elevator. I was very exhausted and I had really good ear plugs so it didn't bother me that much but keep that mind. The bathroom and the room was very modern so they were very nice! Thank you guys for the very good stay!

Nice quiet hotel on a busy street in the city centre. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Access to all floors is via the room key making the hotel feel very safe, a bonus for solo travellers. Plenty of places in the immediate vicinity for breakfast, coffee and bistro or fine dining. The only downside is no facilities in the room to make a drink, not even a glass if you take bottled water in with you, although drinks can be purchased in reception. Check in and out is fast. Would recommend.

The wheelchair access ramp was unusable and unsafe and there was what we can only assume were disgusting human fluids on the floor by the bed. We have tried to sort this via email before writing this review but haven't heard back. It's a nice hotel in a nice area other than that, but if you're a wheelchair user please contact them about the ramp and be aware that it's really really steep.

The check-in process was smooth, but the room itself had several issues. There was a very strong smell of sewage backup or stagnant water, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the noise from flushing toilets in adjacent rooms was very disruptive. The dirty mirror and overall lack of attention to detail were frustrating, especially given the high price (£160 for the night) and the expectations that came with it. I won’t be rebooking in the future, nor will I recommend this hotel.

The only downside of my stay was being asked to submit my credit card details in case i trashed the room , and also being asked for photo id. Which fortunately i had on me in the form of my O.A.P bus pass. I have stayed at a number of Easy Hotels around the country and never been asked for these items so it kind of felt a bit strange , other than that initial issue all good .

Stayed here before and had no problems and was okay and relatively clean . Second time back and wasn’t great ,cards didn’t work to get in the room so was up and down trying to sort that with reception . Other thing was that the rook was freezing and when you put the heating up to 27/28 it’ll drop instantly to 19 which was ridiculous. Not a great sleep due to being cold over night .

My experience at easyHotel Liverpool was extremely disappointing and unsafe.

When we first checked in, our room had not been cleaned—the bed was unmade, the shower was dirty, and the bins were still full from the previous guests. After complaining, we were moved to another room, but this was just the beginning of a series of issues.

On our first night, a drunk man was shouting and arguing outside our room for hours. It felt incredibly unsafe, and when we tried to contact reception, we found there was no phone in the room. We had to search online for a contact number, only to discover that no one was there to answer. The hotel appears to be completely unmonitored overnight, which is a huge security risk.

The facilities themselves were just as bad. The shower water was cold, and the bins were not emptied. Even in rooms with windows, they do not open, making the space feel stuffy and uncomfortable. The heating was practically nonexistent, and we froze all night.

To make matters worse, on our last night, a drunk man had passed out outside the lift, blocking access. We couldn’t even get in or out, and an ambulance had to be called. Again, this reinforced how unsafe the hotel felt.

The smoking area is directly at the main entrance, so every time you walk in or out, you’re hit with cigarette smoke. There is no proper lobby or second space to sit, making the experience even more uncomfortable.

I had already made payment prior to my Check in. Reaching the property, a young man at the front desk, ask for my ATM Card, I thought such practice have been abolished a long time ago, because of Fraud. Now he took my atm card and was taking down my card details. This is a very wrong and bad practice. What if my card details get compromised, it shouldn’t be. Needs to stop ASAP.
The room as I opened the door was smelling and very very unpleasant ODOUR. The cleaners had to come use Bleech to kill the odour. The room was cold for even an animal to survive in it, not to talk of a Human being.
I called and called the front desk, no one was around to pick the call.
Had to check out at 8:45pm, I feel the few hours I spent in it was the most uncomfortable hours spent.
Didn’t deserve the money gotten from me.

If i could give zero stars, i would.
We stayed at this hotel for just one night, and it was a horrible experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to speak with reception as we discovered most of the issues late at night and weren’t there long enough to raise them.

The room was filthy from the moment we stepped in. The bed sheets were dusty at the bottom near the mirror, the mirror was all scratched up, and everything just felt dirty. To make things worse, the sink in the bathroom leaked on to the floor every time we used it, so we had no choice but to use the shower just to wash our hands. Disgustingly, the sink plughole was clogged with someone else’s hair—absolutely revolting.

The room itself was tiny, with no space to move around or put anything. It felt claustrophobic and uncomfortable. Overall, it was a horrendous stay, and we are actively seeking a refund as the conditions were unacceptable. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

The past 2 times I have stayed here the people who clean the rooms knock on the doors hours before checkout
I complained last time and was offered a late checkout on my next stay but again they started knocking on the doors at 10am even though my checkout wasn’t until 1pm
Then a woman knocked again at 12 and walked in the room when I was in the shower
Also don’t get a room on the first floor they have a waste disposal which gets blocked and the noise from it will keep you up all night
I’m still waiting for the manager to complete my complaint
