Property was immaculately clean. Staff at reception were absolutely lovely. Room was disappointing. I had booked the penthouse expecting penthouse quality, this was not what we got. Some parts of the apartment have rotten and cracked wood at skirting boards and door surrounds, the roof terrace is very disappointing, the noise from the street is very loud and the smell from the restaurant on the street means you’d end up smelling like fried chicken if you sat out there. The noise late on Saturday night into around 3am in the morning from the street meant we got little sleep, racing cars, drunks screaming and partying and police sirens was really something else! I cannot imagine what it would be like on lower floors given we were on the 6th floor! In addition, the en suite toilet had a sign with ‘out of order’ on it, and given I had checked with the hotel that the apartment had two bathrooms, I felt that given what we had paid for a penthouse apartment, we should receive some sort of discount for this. The manager did not agree. We will definitely not be back. A shame, a great central location, very lovely reception staff and very clean apartment. But for over £400 for 2 nights we had really expected something a bit better quality. I think you’d get better quality of accommodation in the nearby Premier Inn.

Great location also, handy to train stations, Liverpool one and Albert Dock at the end of the road. 40 minute walk to Hill Dickinson for the game. Nice room for a family of 5. Apartments were in prime location right beside Liverpool one. It had everything you needed. Kitchen was fully equipped if you wished to cook. The spare bedding for the pull out beds were in bags cable tied so you knew there were fresh and clean. Will definitely stay again

Hired 2 of the city duplex? 8 berth apartments for a stag doo weekend. It comfortably slept 12 of us and was a perfect base camp for the weekend.

The location of this property was about the only good thing. We booked this apartment to be able to do laundry during our stay. The laundry machine washed our clothes fine, but did not dry them even after multiple 2 hour cycles. We left liverpool with damp clothes that ended up being smelly the rest of our trip. The shower was gross and hard to operate. I would recommend finding a different aparthotel to stay in.

I can not fault our time at Staycity Liverpool City Centre at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have mobility issues and am either in a wheelchair or on crutches so put in the notes when booking online that if there was any chance of being allocated an apartment with a walk in shower it would be greatly appreciated. They upgraded our apartment so that they could accommodate my needs which my partner and I were so grateful for. The apartment was amazing and comfortable. It had everything we could have possibly needed (although a lamp in the living room would be nice so you dont have to keep big lights on/no lights on but we borrowed one from the bedroom). It was very spacious, comfy, clean and overall we just had a lovely stay and we will definitely not hesitate to stay in a Staycity Aparthotel again!

We had a great stay. The first evening was very noisy due to a wedding party underneath us. Not too much of a problem as we are very tolerant but it was noisy! There is only one sofa bed as furniture in the living area and this was too small for all of us and not very comfortable. Could have done with more comfy furniture to relax on.

The whole complex is a bit of a habit warren and quite confusing to get around. It suited a quick 1 night stop over but would not stay again.

On arrival the staff were very friendly despite having to work on Christmas Day. Check in was quick and easy. We were very quickly in our lovely clean apartment. It was warm, clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet overnight. We made breakfast in the kitchen the next day, which was well equipped. The shower in the main bathroom had a small leak. We reported this to the main desk who advised it would be looked at by maintenance. The shower in the ensuite was good. We only stayed one night so didn't wait to see if it was repaired. However with everything else so well maintained I supect it was. Great location, great rate, can't fault it. Will be back.

Apartment was ok, but when booking it said sleeps 6 so I had invited 2 extra people to stay, when I rang to add them to the booking i was quoted an extra 550 for 2 people to stay 1 night. This to me seems ridiculous when there was no daily room clean or any extra service which would have been provided, and I wasn’t able to cancel the booking. Poor service wouldn’t stay again
