We arrived a few hpurs before check in and left our bags in a room by receptionist there was no lift but i thought the giy wouldve put the bags in our.room.when it had been cleaned..wvwrything else was fine

Lovely warm welcome from gentlemen on reception, had a drink in the hotels bar while we waited for our room, really nice cozy bar with comfy sofas. Room was on first floor, big comfy bed, lovely decor. Spotlessly clean. Absolutely fantastic location. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again 😊

Staff great. Room not cleaned though in 3 days (not sure if I should have asked). I had a room overlooking the main road and from 3am onwards it was very busy and loud outside. My friend had a rear room and said it was great.

Awesome Stay - Very Happy

The staff were very friendly helpful and kind! The staff at the reception desk were helpful in every way helping us to get around Liverpool and to get groceries/meals and transportation. We are truly happy that we chose PrintWorks Hotel and will definitely recommend it to everyone! There’s no other place for us to stay in Liverpool going forward other than PrintWorks Hotel!

Fantastic!

The hotel is very well located in the heart of the city. It was a spacious and very comfortable room, with beautiful decor and modern comfort features such as air conditioning and a heated floor. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and helpful too. I really enjoyed my stay. My only issue was the hot water wasn’t working in the shower when I tried to use it - but it was about 1pm so I’m assuming they might’ve been having work done to the boiler? Hot water was back in the evening so probably just a one-off issue. Definitely doesn’t affect my opinion of the hotel - very much a 5 star stay for a very affordable price. Thank you!

Great location for a quick flying visit

Excellent location, right beside restaurants and bars on nearby bolt street Done the job. Ww were just over for a Liverpool game so ok for a flying visit. Building could do with a refurb but the room was clean. Bed mattress was uncomfortable -that was the only negative.

Receptionist was friendly and upgraded our room to one with a window.

The room was nothing like the photos, it was very small. One person had to sit on the bed while the other got ready.
I did phone to ask about bag drop off but when we got there it was just a cupboard with no lock and bags were not tagged.
Light in room kepted flashing which we reported to front desk just after checking in but nothing was done about it, very annoying.Also loud drilling noise coming from AC every so often which woke you up.
On the good side bathroom quite big and the whole place was clean. Good amenities in the room.

The room was as advertised no windows and on the ground floor, a bit smaller than expected but the bathroom was large. The room on arrival didn’t have any towels or anything but the man at reception (I arrived quite late) was very helpful and very nice. There was a strange smell in the room and it did feel quite stuffy but I slept very well and it’s in an ideal location.

A twin room at the Printworks was the cheapest that I could get on short notice… and at £107 for the night, it was hard to see the worth.
I arrived into my room with a window open and the heating on trying to compensate. The furniture was scuffed and draws didn’t have handles on, sheets felt like Velcro, tv and internet had minimal signal, and pretty sure there was a pube in the bath. Perfect stay if you are just going for a night on the lash.

The “pod” room we were allocated is not what we believed we’d booked, as we booked a “double”. There was barely room for 2 people to move past each other in it.
The bathroom fan didn’t turn off so was hard to sleep through it.
The bed sheets weren’t clean.
The one pillow we each had was thin so we had to put towels underneath.
At £130+, given the photos look pretty good, we expected far better from this hotel.

Stayed with a friend for night out. The room was tired broken furniture , cleanliness throughout whole hotel was very poor. Cups in room dirty, mould in bathroom. Finger marks on all glass furniture, broken draws.
The mattresses had seem better days, y comfy due to springs being felt. Only one toilet roll on room which was half used. Room really cold in the morning and unable to change temperature. For the price we paid I’d expect to have comfortable clean room. Location was spot on but due to the issues we came across we would not book to stay here again. Couldn’t even get a wine at the bar due to having non.

City centre location is ideal. Was some noise from the street and local pubs but it didn’t stop us sleeping at all. Room was clean and tidy but just needed a bit of TLC. Bath and shower needed new sealant. Broken floor tiles in the bathroom. But heated floor and towel rail worked well. Staff were polite and helpful at all times. We didn’t eat or drink there so can’t rate these facilities.

The staff was lovely and helpful, the bathroom suite was dated and had marks all over it with the seals been full of mold. Beds wasn’t the comfiest but was good that we all had a single bed each as 4 of us. Nice sized rooms too. Good location. Was on second floor and no lift so had to lift our luggage up the stairs which wasn’t the best as very heavy.

We arrived at the hotel and was really surprised how lovely it was was greeted by a lovely woman didn't get her name unfortunately we was mega early but she said we could leave our bags and asked if we wanted a complimentary coffee/tea which was lovely but we needed to head off to the beach had a lovely day at formby beach came back checked in by the lovely receptionist the hotel put us in the basement room which is not that bad like other people said it was but my daughter didn't like that there was no windows n a bed that was seperate (she sufferes from ocd) really bad so I asked the receptionist if we could swap if possible so she looked and then swamped us to the room upstairs which was lovely black and white room little things which needed concentration when cleaning like a stain on the wall n a bit of dust but we was only there for one night but if it wasn't for the receptionist we would have had an upset daughter all night. Came down the next morning for breakfast was really nice cooked really well,loved talking to the blonde hair women who cooks the breakfast. Would definitely come back to the printworks brilliant customer service and hospitality

The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly. The hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and pubs. The rooms were clean and tidy. There's a couple of things to be aware of. There's no lift in the hotel, so if your mobility isn't great, make sure your room isn't on the top floor. If you're there for more than one night, you'll need to get your room card updated each day of your trip, at the front desk. We discovered that whenever we got to the top floor and couldn't get in. we had to go back down to the desk.

Stayed for one night in a triple room, reception very friendly, we were early but they let us store our suitcases until our room was ready.
Room was clean and a good size, it was a little noisy but you would expect that in a city centre hotel, it hasn’t put us off and we will definitely return.

1/10 would not recommend

Paid £89 to basically sleep in what I can only describe as a prison cell! No windows which we were made aware of at booking and would’ve been fine had there been hot water and the toilet flush worked! Reported to reception, said it would be sorted but nothing happened, had to have a quick cold shower before we went out which wasn’t ideal when the room was absolutely Baltic to start off with! We were woken by a young couple arguing in the corridor at 3am for over an hour, sounded like they were knocking the sh*t out of each other but nothing was done despite having cameras in every corridor and ‘security’ in reception. We couldn’t get out of the room to report anything because we were in the corner of the basement essentially with no other way out. Also a fire hazard?! Felt extremely unsafe and disappointed with what should’ve been a nice evening, the room wasn’t cheap!!

When i booked it states a bar?
No bar at all.
When bokking in i was told if much noise to let them know,which worried me.
Then that night/morning the noise was unreal not nuch sleep at all for me or my 13 yr son.
Next night was the exact same.
To round a bad experience off @ 9oclick on the monday morning when i was getting ready to go home no hot water for showers. I did complain to be told the tiimeclock only comes on at 9.

I was very disappointed with this hotel . To start with it advertises a bar , but doesn't have one which is something I would always look for and therefore would not have booked this hotel . The staff were pleasant and helpful so no fault on them . Room was in a dungeon and very small , TV remote or AC remote didn't work . On 2nd morning we had no hot water as apparently it only comes on at 9am .Location is good but for the price definitely not worth it unless your on a stage party as we had young people running about the corridor all night .

Booked room, happy with rate and location.

The Room was in basement and did not reflect the images shown on the website. Very, very small. No windows, everytime an underground trained passed under the building you could clearly hear it! (Imagine the sound of a normal train chugging along an overhead line… but under your bed!)

We were awoken in the early hours with groups arguing which continued into the morning (8am!).

I normally don’t leave a bad review.. but I can’t let people waste their money on this one unfortunately! Worse hotel I ever stayed unfortunately. No where near 4 stars! Far too overpriced if we compare the rooms and the prices. Deposit never stated on the website only few days before my arrival they emailed me saying I had to pay £50. Wi-Fi never worked and couldn’t even use the data of my phone. I stayed in the ground Floor and was very noisy. Overall I didn’t had a good experience. I had an amazing sleep and that was it really. They need to change the star of this hotel ASAP

Be careful with what you purchase!! Bought a twin room not realising what we were getting ourselves in to and would never have booked it if I understood the room, as the rest of the photos show the other types of rooms very well. There was one photo of it which doesn't show the whole room, so had no clue we were in a basement room with no window whatsoever! The room was cramped, too dirty for what we paid and totally not worth it.
As soon as we saw the room we complained and asked to be moved, but we were just met with a total disregard for our feelings and told to either deal with it or find a separate hotel. The male manager on site was rude however the female manager was a bit more understanding with how she dealt with us.

Good for the money paid and clean but the TV aerial didn’t work so it’s was unusable. We reported it but no solution was found. Windows are not double glazed so all street sounds can be heard, noisy groups of partygoers, street sweeping, bin collections, etc but it’s in the heart of the bar/club area so to be expected to some degree. Served the purpose we needed for one night.

Don't stay here bathroom smelt awful pokey room bin was full from previous and used mask behind a discusting kettle! That my cat wouldn't drink from!

Worse us yet to come! Some idiot was outside our door at 8am sanding the skirting boards in corridor. Really? Yes really! I knew it was budget but it was awful! Really not good. A suggestion would be maybe a good idea to have done all these jobs before re opening. Dont bother real dump!

I stayed here on a Thursday night because it was close to the town center when I got there to see a note on the door stating up go to the podworks hotel down the road when I arrived at the podworks on Henry st I paid cash to find out I had to pay £50 deposit what wasn't in the information on hotels.com so I paid that not happy that I wasn't even told about the printworks not being open but never said anything I went into the room it was absolutely filthy it had no windows the sides and work tops where layed with dust upon dust thick the bathroom was descusting shower not working properly they provided tea and coffee but no milk for It it was freezing the telly had a big crack onit there where no pillows on the bed I had a family emergency so because it was cheap I forced myself to book another nigh the next day my brother came to visit me and I saw him out for the manager to say to me out of nowhere I had a hour to get my stuff packed and to leave podworks hotel I went on to ask why what have I done be basically accused me of being a prostitute because I had 2 family members seeing if I was okay I explained that basically I lost my father and he looked straight threw me and said I could have my money back and Less than a hre left I feel belittles and ashamed upset that someone could think so bad of me someone who they don't know the customer services WAS amazing the first man in the Thursday was amazing and smiled brilliant customer skills but the other one is a dick
