What a great apartment, lovely staff at check in. Parking so easy on site. There’s a 24 hour shop right outside. It’s a great location approximately 8 minutes walk to the cathedral. It’s on a bus stop for open top bus. The kitchen had everything needed the beds very clean and comfortable, whole apartment very clean.

I stayed here with a friend for a conference, overall it was a comfortable clean stay close to the centre of town, it took us 15 mins to walk to the M&S Arena and about 10 to get into the main shopping area. The check in was a bit restrictive, it was between 3pm and 5.30pm and they continually emailed me to ask me what time I was coming. The other frustration was the map pin, it was inaccurate so I couldn't easily find it.

I went with a disabled young gentleman we stopped over for one night. The accommodation and parking were excellent right in the middle of Liverpool the apartment was clean but a little outdated. We asked for a first floor apartment but on arrival we were on the 5 floor which we managed but made it difficult for the young gentleman I was supporting over all communication a little poor. We will be going again but next time I’ll double check availability before booking.

The property was nothing like the picture on the advert, the balcony door would not close propery or lock, the front door was also unlocked when we arrived, the hot water is far too hot and couldnt be turned down in the shower, it could easily scald someone, it was clean and well equipped though, and we enjoyed our stay

Staff were great and super helpful . Great location for walking to city centre and docks . We parked underneath and were charged 30 pound for 2 nights. We were also charged a 100 deposit . Very clean with everything you would need but bathrooms were a little bit tired and could do with a freshen up ( sealant and grout). Great place as a base for a city centre break

I have booked hotel through Hotels for many years and this is the first time I have been totally let down! I booked a Penthouse 2 bed apartment and the room we were given was completely different to the photo displayed on your website. When I complained to Base Apartments Manager he told me the photo's on Hotels.com were incorrect and that room didn't exist! He said they only had 1 Penthouse apartment and it was what we had been allocated, it was completely different (and not in a good way), bedrooms on 1st floor and living area upstairs and a tiny balcony that you could only fit 2 chairs on, not the vast balcony shown on your website. The whole apartment was very basic, lack of furniture, decor and all very tied, we will not be using this property or Hotels.com again if this is the misrepresentation of rooms that we can expect. I look forward to your feedback as I would expect a full refund!

The apartment is ok very clean and cosy the only problem is the fire alarm keeps ringing even in the middle of the night. I have no sleep wandering if there is a real fire and I don’t want us to be barbecue inside the property especially we are on the third floor.

The property served us really well. It was clean and comfortable. It was definitely tired as other reviews said. Lots of elements were broken including windows. Some wouldn't shut and other wouldn't open. The light by the front door didn't work and we arrived in the dark so that wasn't helpful. The flat was also cold when we arrived. The bedrooms quickly heated up and the duvet's were warm, but the lounge area heater wasn't adequate and then later broke. But the agent was super quick at bringing up a heater which helped.
The kitchen had the bare minimum cooking utensils, but there were lots of great places to eat around the area. The location was fantastic and we could easily explore Liverpool by foot and parking was secure.
Overall, the place worked for us, but it would have got top marks if it wasn't so run down.

Apartment was certainly big enough and had the basics, but the walls were so thin you could hear your neighbours and all times of the day and night.
The shower was poor too and struggled to get any real pressure.

Fabulous penthouse style living
It’s a really fabulous place for the location and looks like it could do with a little bit of modernization of the furniture that’s getting battered, but it really didn’t matter because it really has so much space and room for everyone. Somebody obviously had been overserved in the past, and decided to put their hand through the door of the en suite bathroom, and there was a drippy tap that you might want to look into so your water isn’t so high in the en suite bathroom as well. Amazing views from the bedrooms and balcony and definitely will try and return to this place for my daughter’s graduation next summer.

Beware what you are booking on Expedia. The apartment they show on their images no longer exists - the 3 bedroom one we got had no blinds - they were missing. It was very shabby and tired - when I spoke to the manager she said “ we are a very basic apartment set up” no attempt to defend the poor state these apartments are in was made by staff. Totally misleading listing by Expedia - very poor

The apartment was ok, but nothing like the photos shown in the listing - no resemblance at all, so disappointed when we walked in as a lot smaller than rooms in photos shown, not as nicely presented and really nothing like in the main. The facilities/accessories ok but nothing special. Definitely needs a lot of TLC in bathroom and kitchen. Cleaning ok but not great - fridge, cooker, showers etc could do with a really good clean.

Absolute scam! Paid and secured my booking and on the night if arrival at 8pm there was no one around to give me a vess to the so called apartment. No out of hours number, no emergency contact, no signs of security anywhere and unwilling to refund my visit. Stay away, do not book, I suggest staycity or epic. Huge disappointment and not what I expect in this day an age. Left my daughter and I stranded in Liverpool with no where to stay.

Stayed in apartment 7, staff at reception was friendly and gave me all information i needed. Parking under the location was 15 a night and was secure, lift available from garage to the apartment levels.
Apartment was clean and tidy. Large fridge freezer, washing machine and dish washer in the kitchen area. Plus all the usual things.
Lounge had 2 sofa beds and a tv. Bedrooms were large witu plenty of storage, bathroom only had 3 snall toilet rolls so bring more if large group of you, there is a shop down the road that sells 4 for a quid.
Everywhere is a short walk away.

This stay could have been great, but turned out disappointing. The flat is large, nice, modern and centrally located - what else would you want? I’ll tell you:
Hot water and working internet. None were present. These are, unfortunately, necessities in this date and age.
The guy at the front desk, Rodrigo (?), was extremely nice, but unfortunately could not help us. He said somebody would contact us later - nobody did.

2 night family stay
We had a fabulous two night stay in Liverpool on route to Scotland. Our two bedroom apartment was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 children). It was clean, spacious and had everything on reception. The lovely lady on reception was extremely helpful and very welcoming. Would definitely return.

Bedding was not done on arrival, water pump was faulty for the whole of the block which means there was lack of water in Apartment, can’t not even have a shower due to very low pressure of water. I have to complain twice before they could offer alternative apartment in a different block for the family to access water and shower.Washing basin tap head was snapped and was glued together and many more.

I was extremely disappointed with the room. They sell you the room based on pictures of their best rooms, however the room i was given was nothing like the photos and very poor for the money. To give them credit they did move me the next day to a better room, however they shouldn’t represent themselves in the first place.

Apartments weren't up to scratch but was situated close to the centre of Liverpool. Very noisy on a night due to there being restaurants in the square. We were situated above a restaurant which meant we had no sleep the first night.

Apt was clean and had an updated bathroom. It did not have a clothes dryer as promised but the front desk switched our room for one that did. Location was good but you will have to be okay walking some distances.

On arrival, the check in staff were not helpful or friendly. Directions were poor. We were told there was WiFi but there was no password given to us at all. There’s an out of hours number which is an answering machine.
The apartment floor was sticky and kitchen cupboards were dusty. The condition of the dishwasher was appalling. There were no shelves in the side door of the fridge.
One of the heater in the room did not work at all. The shower leaked.
The worst part- the ‘washer dryer’ did not dry at all and was so loud! No instruction manual and when we googled for a manual it was a company that went bust! The pillows were uncomfortable that none of us had much sleep.

We came to Liverpool for a ladies night out. We booked last minute. Got the apartment at a really good price. There was 4 of us staying in a two bedroom apartment. We was pleasantly surprised when we entered our lodgings for the night. It was beautiful. The kitchen stocked with everything your would need if you wanted to cook. Open plan lay out was perfect for us so no girlie gossip was missed. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds extremely comfy. I had a really good night sleep. We even came back early from our evening out as we wanted to relax in the lovely apartment. I will be booking here again definatly.

Nice apartment. Dryer did not work. It was a hot week in England and again the apartment was not furnished with fans. The windows had to be left open, the area was very loud. We had to purchase ear plugs!! It was a good location, lots of good pubs & restaurants.

Large appartment within walking distance to the city centre. More than enough room for 3 or 4 people. A bit tricky finding reception - it was in a side street. Onsite parking was expensive, we would have been better off parking in one of the car parks close by for half the price. The rooms were very comfortable and it had a huge kitchen and bathroom. Very good value.

Great property close to everything in Liverpool. We ran out of toilet paper and the only gal on duty went out of her way to get us more to get by until we checked out the following day. Our only complaint was the washing machine didn't work and we really needed to wash a couple loads to finish the last leg of the trip.

All flights from dublin were cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. This was an expensive family trip and I was understandably upset. I phoned the reception straight away to see if there was anything we could do to reschedule or even book a discounted stay another time. While I was on hold I overheard someone else on the phone saying that they were fully booked for the weekend however they would put them on the waiting list. The person I was speaking to then came back on the line and said there was nothing I could do as I had already paid in full and there was no refund. I emailed their customer services and recived no response other that they had passed my request onto a manager. They phoned later that evening and then emailed the next day to ask was I checking in or not, I found them very unhelpful, unfeeling and left a very bad taste that they would not refund any of the full payment or allow me to reschedule or even offer some type of goodwill gesture but clearly wanted to sell my reserved room to someone else. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I would never book with them again because of this.
