On arrive it took time to gain access to the building as it was locked, overall place looked dated and tired. The lift was super small even for 2 people. The room was smelling of something bad, fridge had a rotting smell. Beds seemed clean, bathroom had mould over it and in the shower, hairs on the floor. Would not recommend. Also note that if you stay and use underground car park next to it, its nearly 25 euros for night and you must have coins to pay.

This hotel was clean, warm and comfortable. Being at the Tram 76 terminal it was easy to get about, but one can also use Tram 72. There are shops local so no need to worry if you require provisions. Iam informed breakfast is available. Its good value.

It can be a good old hotel, it's quite clean. But the room smells smoke. Yes, there is a sign \"non-smoking room\", but it feels like last 5 years it was a smoking room. Now walls and furniture emit that smell, open windows don't help at all. I won't stay in this hotel anymore.

I stayed for one night when I was in Dusseldorf for a concert. The hotel is an excellent pick - it is located right by a tram (U-bahn?) stop from which you can go directly to the HbF as well as the Mitsubishi hall. My room was very clean - perfect for one person. The curtain in the window did have a hole in it, but it honestly made no difference to me. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The 'Collectors' Hotel

I will start with the positive, the man in reception was a lovely guy with a sense of humour, and the parking is free (As long as you are lucky and no one else is there - I saw 3 spaces for the hotel and its first come first served)
The other reviews mention things like 'Its stuck in the 70's' etc... well they arent wrong! Even down to a built in retro radio on the headboard! But it was the cleanliness and comfort that really let us down. Beds are really uncomfortable, there was a bogey collection someone has started on the wall above the headboard, shower curtain was brown and mouldy, curtains stained and full of holes.. I opened the wardrobe and was greeted by someones old socks that were still in there waiting for their owner to come back. There was no bin in the room - only a tiny one hidden in bathroom. In addition on the curtain subject, they didnt completely cover the windows so as soon as the sun rose the room is fully lit.
In the end we left at 05.30am just because we couldnt stand it anymore, and seemingly we werent alone in the dawn escape, dodging the Jumble sale of old mattresses, hoovers and bed frames etc left in the corridor like an episode of 'Total Wipeout' with other guests. Very dissapointed especially for the price. Terrible nights sleep. We didnt stay for breakfast as the property isnt doing them currently either. Such a shame our trip came to an end in that way but lesson learned.

Terrible hotel with poor service attitude

This place is run like a hotel where you can book a room by hour. During trade fairs they charge extortionate prices, but so do all hotels in Düsseldorf. Rooms are simple and clean, but as walls are very thin you can hear when someone snores or makes some other noises in the room next door.

The attitude of the reception staff is at best ignorant and at worst hostile. I stayed there only a few nights and one evening I asked the lady at the reception if I could have some hot water to take with me to the room. I asked her if they have a thermos flask, which would keep the water hot. Her answer was: “No, do you have one?” Erm, I am the hotel guest here, aren’t I? I then said that some hotels give a thermos flask or a water kettle to take to the room. Her reply: “We are not that kind of hotel.” Well, obviously not! No hotel regardless of what standard or number of stars they have should have a person working in a customer-facing role who is clearly unsuitable to work in the service industry. The minimum any receptionist should do as part of her/his job is to make guests feel welcome and valued.

This hotel is only interested in taking people’s money and even charge 8 EUR for breakfast, but they are not able to offer decent rooms and friendly service in return. All positive review must have been submitted as a joke. There are much better hotels for the same price, so take your money elsewhere.

Nice hotel close to transportation shopping food

Experience was good, stayed for seven nights, convenient close to transportation, shopping restaurant and other amenities. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK to good not great, it was kid of monotonous the Continental breakfast every morning. Got in late some night and out early next morning, went for strolls around the neighborhood no problem

The hotel is ideally situated further out of the city centre with convenient tram connections into the centre. The room was clean and pleasant with wifi and most importantly very friendly and helpful staff. There are several places within a 5 minute walk to find something to eat from pizza to bars offering great schnitzels and fries and German beers!
Great value for the quality and would definitely stay there again.

Although it is located about 8 km from the Hauptbahnhof, It is right by a U-Bahn station, so it was rather convenient. The shower head should be changed. Over all, it is also well-priced for what it is.

I had a business trip to the Henkel Holthausen.
This hotel is very basic, but clean and close by. Not much good food nearby, so plan a trip to the city for dinner.
It did the job, and I might stay there again.

Very practical

Hotel is very good value and well located for the public transport at Holthausen junction, easy to get the U74 or U77 into the downtown. Single rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. staff very friendly. Looks to have been renovated recently, new carpets and bathroom upgrades

I stayed in the Hotel for 9 nights. Although my room was small but the neighbourhood, you can find almost everything in walking distance. the most important point is the train station which is infront of the hotel and you will reach city centre in 20 minutes.

Hotel is clean, rooms are on the small side but comfortable and adequate for a short stay. Price is cheap, so the hotel is good value overall. It has free internet and wi-fi. It has a restaurant, but we didn't eat there, so can't comment on the quality. Location is 50 metres from the Holthausen stop on the U74/U77 underground lines, so access to the city centre or airport is fast and cheap - e.g. city centre, 15 mins, airport 40-50 mins door to door. Local amenities limited - area is mainly residential, but, as mentioned, the city centre is easy to access.

Vi åt inte frukost på hotelt därav inget betyg av mig.
Personalen var trevlig.
I närheten fanns det mesta om man ville handla.
Hotellet är slitet, skulle kunna snyggas till på många sätt. Tex väggarna skulle kunna målad, heltäckningsmattan skulle kunna tvättas.

Hotelet är ok men inte mer än så, det fyllde vår funktion. Vi behövde någonstans att sova och det fungerade.

- Nära till Apotekt, Rossman, Bageri, Lidl osv

Negativt:
- Duschkabin liten
- Slitet, väggarna behöver lite färg
- Mattan skulle behöva tvättat

- Mjuk säng

Sammanfattning: För vår del helt ok, skulle inte rekommendera det om man skall vistas på rummet en längre tid än som vi gjorde(över nattade i rummet)

Ich kam um 21 Uhr an, und im Dezember war das Zimmer sehr kalt und es gab kein warmes Wasser. Die Qualität des Bettes und der Bettwäsche war sehr schlecht. Trotz meiner Beschwerde an der Rezeption wurde das Zimmer nicht gewechselt. Außerdem befand sich die Rezeption im dritten Stock, was schwer zu finden war.

Es wird kein Frühstück angeboten. Das Hotel hat seine beste Zeit hinter sich. Bohr Löcher in der Wand. Steckdose im Bad war verkokelt, Lüfter im Bad war voller dreck. Schimmel an der Badezimmer Decke. Im Zimmer war kein Stuhl vorhanden. Schranke an der Tiefgarage war defekt. Aber es war günstig.

Wir hatten eigentlich ein Doppelbett gebucht und haben ein Hochbett ohne Matratze bekommen und feuchter Bettwäsche. Grundsätzlich war es sehr dreckig, die Bettwäsche und die Steckdosen waren kaputt. Im Kühlschrank waren Haare. Im Zimmer wurde anscheinend vorher geraucht, es hat zumindest danach gerochen. Das Personal kam sehr überfordert rüber. Die Anbindung war fantastisch, man ist sehr schnell von A - B gekommen.

Hôtel pourri sans intérêt et sale.

L hôtel n est pas propre. Personne a l arrivée ni à la sortie. Des bruits de minuit a deux heures du matin. Je déconseille vivement pour une famille. C est un hôtel sordide sans intérêt. Pas de petit déjeuner. La seconde chambre prévu pour deux personnes n' avait qu'une couette pour une personne.
Si il est possible de retirer l hôtel du site n hésitez pas une seconde.

Es ist weniger ein Hotel mehr wie ein Heim für Menschen die ein Wohnungsnot haben. Die Zimmer sind schmutzig, die Gardinen kaputt BZ W so ausgenutzt dass sie durch Löcher sind. Man kann es niemanden empfehlen diese Unterkunft als Hotel anzunehmen. trotz mehrfacher Anruf war Rezeption nicht erreichbar BZ W wurde immer getröstet dass das Personal vorbeikommt aber nach fast 1 Stunde kam jemand vorbei.

Das Hotel war insgesamt in Ordnung. Natürlich darf man keinen Luxus erwarten, aber das Bett war sehr bequem und ich habe gut geschlafen. Der Fernseher war zwar nicht ganz auf dem neuesten Stand, hat aber funktioniert. Für den Preis war alles absolut in Ordnung – ich empfehle das Hotel gerne weiter!

Gut ist die Lage wegen der Straßenbahn- und Bushaltestelle Holthausen direkt beim Hotel. Außerdem befinden sich Supermärkte in Laufnähe. Ansonsten war die Erfahrung wenig positiv. An der Rezeption war eine Dame, die des Deutschen kaum mächtig war und sich von einem weiteren Angestellten ständig helfen lassen musste. Die Beherbergungssteuer wurde direkt verlangt und konnte nur mit Karte beglichen werden, angeblich, da die Buchung auch über Karte vorgenommen worden war. Das Zimmer war klein, aber insgesamt ordentlich. Ein Kühlschrank dröhnte vor sich hin. Mobiliar und Gardinen wirkten völlig heruntergekommen. Besonders negativ war aber das Bad: verrosteter Abfluss im Waschbecken, lockere Armaturen, kein Zahnputzglas, die Wassertemperatur kaum höher als lauwarm (ist auch anderen Hotelgästen aufgefallen). Scheint eher eine Unterkunft für Monteure zu sein. Kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen.

Normalerweise okay, in diesem Fall war die Technik - speziell Wasser - ein unüberwindbares Hindernis. Es gluckerte seit Ankunft und gipfelte in einer braunen Brühe in der Dusche, die nur sehr langsam abfloss.
Weiterhin wäre ein Fön in der Dusche gut gewesen. Dazu kommt das fehlende Frühstück, welches bedingt durch eine nahe gelegene Bäckerei aufgefangen wurde. Die Umgebung ist von ausländischen Mitbewohnern geprägt. Die italienische Küche hatte um den Essenszeitpunkt von 20.30 Uhr bereits zu. So bleibt nur ein sehr guter Döner oder die Fahrt in die Innenstadt.
