A total surprise - value for money

Excellent hotel within 20 mins U-Bahn journey of Dusseldorf Town Centre. You do not need to wait more that 10 mins for a underground train with direct interconnect from main railway station. U-Bahn stop in 1 min from hotel on other side of square. Room was clean, tidy and breakfast was excellant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel has facilities to store luggage for pick up later on day of departure. I stayed for 5 night for xmas market and sight seeing and hotel was very reasonably priced.

The front desk staff was unfriendly or more kind of very grumpy when we checked in. When we went out and came back on that night we ran into her again, we thought we might read her wrong so my partner tried to greet her and she was totally ignored us. However when we gave our feedback in the morning to another staff he was very appologetic. A little smile to check-in guests would make a big different to their stays.

Smal and Friendly Hotel

Situated just opposite a metro hop this lovely hotel was well positioned for a short break to Dusseldorf. The hotel staff were very helpful and informative and the rooms were well apportioned. The breakfast buffet was excellent and very well managed. A few tram stops away is a lovely castle and gardens which are worth taking a picnic to.
I enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to recommend to others willing to move a short tram journey away from the city centre. There are a number of restaurants and take away food places locally as well.

A nice stay at this hotel but disappointed that no tea or coffee making facilities in our room.
Breakfast was good and a variety of meats, cheeses and wonderful fresh crusty rolls. Also lovely coffee.

This hotel is extremely affordable. It is clean and comfortable. Kind of a quirky old building which adds character. For the price, you get great value. My only complaint is the parking, you have to walk about 10 minutes away to park your car. Still, I would stay here again for sure.

The staffs are very nice and helpful

One night, I went to lobby and worked. The staff was very kind. He kept asking me everything okay and do you need any help? When he noted me I want to drink tea. He turned on the boiling water machine and asked if I want some chocolate. After 2 mins, a little box of chocolate put on my table. With a hot tea. I can work relaxingly. Thanks for caring services.

AWFUL, UGLY, UNFRIENDLY, LOCATED FAR FROM ANYTHING

THIS HOTEL WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Everything was so old, nothing worked. The shower would not get hot, the Elevator didn't work properly. The attendant at the front desk was very unfriendly and unhelpful. The description said that this hotel was close to the airport and old town. I had to take a taxi to this location, which cost over 40 us dollars . It is far away from anywhere, and the photo was misrepresentative of the property. The hotel looked NOTHING like the photo. I was so unhappy, I chose not to stay. I had the property booked for two days, and they would not refund my money. it was horribly expensive.I had to pay 180 us dollars for a taxi to drive us to the airport to leave Germany.

Friendly Hotel sadly a 30 Minute walk to the S Bahn. The area is a bit run down and the only Food available in the area is Kebab or Pizza.

Good value. for the room which was very clean & comfortable.

Niggles:- However, there is no kettle provided in the room for tea/coffee which I think is a major drawback. The buffet breakfast selection was very good but the water for tea and coffee was lukewarm. Only herbal and Darjeeling tea bags provided. I missed a hot cup of proper strong tea (eg standard English Breakfast or Assam tea)

If you are not bothered about not being able top get a hot drink at all, a good choice. I

Nice hotel and friendly staff. The problem was the WiFi which was practically non existent. I moved room to be nearer the router but no better. If I was just on holiday it wouldn't have been an issue but I chose the hotel because they advertised internet in rooms and I had loads to do for work.

This hotel was not hard to get to from the main train station but it really out of the way if your destination is Dusseldorf. The breakfast was excellent, the main highlight. The room was clean and comfortable and good for a one night stay. There wasn't anything to do outside the hotel, so it was really just a quick stay.

Not the Dorchester but good value for your money

Everything I needed for my stay. The room was clean, the shower hot and powerful and the breakfast was excellent. The location is quite a way out of the city centre but the tramlines is 50 meters from the hotel, so an ideal compromise. It's a no frills hotel so don't expect it to rival the Dorchester, but if you want good value you won't go wrong.

NB: Limited free parking outside the hotel, I was on a motorbike so no problem for me, if your in a car the hotel only has two free spaces and you may have to park several streets away to get your parking free if they are taken.

Great little hotel, Can't beat the price!

I stayed one night before returning to the US early in the morning from the DUS airport. There are hotels which are closer, but for $50 one can not complain. 24h reception, room was clean with TV and free internet. Breakfast was awesome!

部屋の掃除をしてくれてた若い女性の従業員はとても愛想が良く、元気に可愛く挨拶してくれた。
フロントの人も親切だった。
日本からすると、展示会の期間中と言う理由もあって
部屋のレベルと価格の高さに驚いたが、だんだん快適に過ごせる様になった。
周辺の町は穏やかで治安が良いと思いました。
日曜日でもスーパーやケバブレストランが開いていて不自由なことはありませんでした。
駅も歩いて1分です。
メッセまで1時間以内の距離で、このホテルにして
良かったです。
希望を言えば、冷蔵庫があるといいと思います。
ドイツは、冷房なしで暖房のみみたいなので、
日本の様にエアコンはなく、オイルヒーターみたいな暖房がついています。

- Bad gerade mal 80 cm breit, Fliesen kaputt, Drückerplatte vom WC gebrochen, Drückerplatte lose und mit Klebeband angeklebt
- WC zu tief, nicht gut für Gäste mit Kniebeschwerden
- Bad nicht sauber, schwarze Haare auf dem Boden und in der Dusche
- Hotel im Altbau, kein \"Altbaucharme\", alles abgewöhnt und restaurierungsbedürftig

- Frühstücksraum nett eingerichtet und sauber
- Frühstück okay, nichts besonderes
- Lage super, ÖPNV direkt vor der Tür

Eigentlich gebe ich allen Hotels eine Chance und nie eine schlechte Bewertung, aber dieses Hotel kann ich beim besten Willen nicht weiterempfehlen 🙁

Gefallen haben mir die sehr freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter, das sehr saubere Bad mit Dusche, die Vorhänge zur Verdunklung der Fenster für die Nacht (im Zimmer 38) und das gute, reichhaltige Frühstück morgens;
Für Gäste mit sehr leichtem Schlaf empfehle ich Ohropax/Ohrstöpsel mitzunehmen und einzusetzen, da die U-Bahnen vor dem Hotel abends beim Zufahren abbremsen und dabei quietschen können;

Für einen Stadttrip nach Düsseldorf ohne Pkw ist dieses Hotel von seiner Lage her einfach sehr gut geeignet. Die U-Bahn- und Busstation ist gleich vor der Tür, Supermärkte, Backstores und Geschäfte befinden sich um die nächste Ecke in der Nachbarschaft, außerdem noch eine gute Pizzeria und einige Dönerläden in direkter Umgebung, ein großer Pluspunkt, denn dadurch ist Mann/Frau flexibel, kann dort Lebensmittel shoppen und erreicht sehr schnell den Hbf, die City, den Rhein, aber auch das Henkel-Werk oder z.B. Schloss Benrath. In den Zimmern zur U-Bahn hin kann es abends und morgens durch das Quietschen der Bahnen etwas laut werden, darum empfehle ich dort Ohropax und eine dunkle Schlafbrille für die Nächte oder ein Zimmer zur Rückseite hin zu buchen. Für mich war es ganz okay und ein guter Aufenthalt mit einem guten Frühstück und hilfsbereitem, freundlichem Personal. Ich werde gerne wiederkommen.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende im Hotel.
Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!
Auf den Wunsch nach einem 2. Kissen wurde sofort positiv reagiert.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, frisch und wurde stets aufgefüllt.
Das Gebäude insgesamt versprüht einen gewissen Altbau-Charme, aber alles war tipptopp sauber!
Wir können es gern weiter empfehlen.

Bei Ankunft in dem Hotelzimmer sind uns gleich die kaputten Möbel sowie die Flecken auf dem Teppichboden aufgefallen. Es stand ein Tablett mit einer Flasche Wasser auf dem Nachttisch. Die Gläser waren bereits vergilbt und das Tablett war sehr klebrig. Das Antennenkabel des Fernsehers war durchtrennt und einige Lampen funktionierten auch nicht richtig. Das Zimmer war sehr unhygienisch, sodass wir beschlossen haben gleich am Anreisetag wieder zu fahren. Der Kundenservice hat sich auch auf unserer Beschwerde hin nicht gemeldet und wir haben keine entschädigung erhalten. Deshalb empfehlen wir das Hotel nicht weiter.

Die sehr nette Rezeptionistin fand die Reservierung nicht. Nachdem ich die Bestätigungsmail vorzeigen konnte fand sie mich unter \"no name\".
Die Badezimmertür quietsche so laut, dass der Mitbewohner aufwachte. Das Bett war direkt an einer Wand, so dass man nur über das Fußende oder über das andere Bett hinüber aufstehen konnte.
Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Düsseldorf werden wir ein anderes Hotel wählen.

Keine Kulanz bezüglich Umbuchung

Aufgrund einer unübersichtlichen Buchungsseite bei Hotel.com habe ich versehentlich 3 Übernachtungen anstatt im November 2022 im Januar 2023 gebucht. Hotel.com hat behauptet, sofern das Hotel sein Einverständnis gäbe, wäre eine Umbuchung möglich. Das war nicht der Fall. Ich habe letztlich meinen Aufenthalt verschenkt, weil ich im Januar nicht konnte. Das Trip Inn kenne ich von einigen früheren Aufenthalten, war ansonsten nie zu bemängeln, auch jetzt im Service war man sehr freundlich, die fehlende Kulanz war wohl höher anzusiedeln.

Trotz Angabe, dass die Buchung inklusive Frühstück sei, wurde keins angeboten. Eine Vereinbarung, dass stattdessen ein Frühstück erstattet würde, Belege wurden eingereicht, wurde nicht eingehalten. Das ist für mich schlechter Service und Irreführung des Gastes.

Obwohl eine Reservierung mit Frühstück am 25.09.2019 erfolgte, war niemand in der Lage uns zu informieren, dass ein Frühstück derzeit nicht möglich ist. Erst beim Einchecken erfuhren wir auf unsere Frage nach den Frühstückszeiten, dass obwohl gebucht und bezahlt, kein Frühstück verabreicht wird. Ausstattung und Zustand des Hauses verdienen ebenfalls keine 3 Sterne.

Ein einfaches, aber gut geführtes Hotel. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Für den günstigen Preis wird ein gutes Frühstück geboten; die freundliche blonde Dame ist sorgt mit großer Aufmerksamkeit dafür, dass nichts fehlt und sofort nachgelegt wird. Besonders ruhig sind die Zimmer zum Innenhof. Hervorragende Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr: in ca. 15 Minuten ist man sowohl in der Innenstadt als auch am Bahnhof. Der hübsche Stadtteil Benrath (nette kleine Geschäfte!) mit seinem wunderschönen Barockschloss und den herrlichen Gartenanlagen ist ebenfalls nur ca. zehn Minuten entfernt.

Het is vooral de handige lokatie in combinatie met de prijs die me hier terug doet komen. 4 supermarkten op korte loop afstand, kleine buurtsuper tot middernacht op kruipafstand, diverse simpele eetgelegenheden in diezelfde zeg 500 meter omtrek.

Super hotel.

Das Zimmer war sauber. Für eine Person reichte es vollkommen. Bad und Toilette war sauber. Was ich vermisst habe, waren Zahnbürsten. Da war zwar ein Becher für Einwegzahnbürsten, aber da waren keine drinnen. Check-in und Checkout verlief reibungslos und schnell.

Κεντρικό ξενοδοχείο δίπλα στο σταθμό του τραμ με ωραίο πρωινό και φοβερή εξυπηρέτηση σε όλους τους τομείς, εκτός από έναν συγκεκριμένο υπάλληλο στη ρεσεψιόν που κάνει ανάρμοστα υποτιθέμενα αστεία σε μόνες γυναίκες αργά το βράδυ.... Αυτό οι υπεύθυνοι του ξενοδοχείου πρέπει να το κοιτάξουν σοβαρά γιατί έτσι χάνει το ξενοδοχείο τους την αίγλη και τη σοβαρότητα που αρμόζει σε τέτοια ξενοδοχεία..
Εγώ προσωπικά θα αποφύγω να κλείσω ξανά δωμάτιο μόνη μου σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο.Φοβηθηκα παρά πολύ από την συμπεριφορά του συγκεκριμένου υπαλλήλου!!!!

De ontvangst mag wel wat hartelijker er kon amper een smile vanaf, voelde zeker niet welkom, het personeel is heel afstandelijk, ik werk zelf in hotel de Hallen, en wij verwelkomen onze gasten, geef dat maar door aan het hotel, bij het uitchecken werd ook niet gevraagd , hoe was uw verblijf,

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Das Hotel hat ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Mein Zimmer war tip-top sauber und gepflegt.
Ein leckeres Frühstücksbuffet war inklusive.
Das Haus liegt direkt an der Straßenbahnhaltestelle.
Die Fahrt ins Zentrum, zum Bahnhof dauert ca. 15 Minuten.
