I liked the hotel and it was in walking distance of Unity Aerna which is why I was staying (for a concert). However, in the room the inside of the kettle was very dirty, I poured hot water into the cup and the burnt limescale came out of the kettle. Also the safe was broken and started beeping at night, luckily it eventually went off. Otherwise I didn’t have any other issues but for a Radisson, the thought the cleaning start would have notified the kettle and broken safe.

We stayed here for one night and chose the hotel because of its proximity to parkrun and also as we needed to head north on Saturday and wanted to avoid the centre of Oslo.
Our room was fine but a few things let the hotel down.
The service in the bar/restaurant was poor and the waiter was unwelcoming. There were a few big coach groups in so the non-group people were left waiting for ages and tables weren’t cleared in the bar - one couple were told they couldn’t use the table by the window rather than clean it!
The charges for parking seem excessive but we were told that this was ‘normal’ for Oslo.
Our room was available early but there was also a charge for this. We only wanted to drop our bags in the room before going into the city on public transport so we declined to pay extra - we left them in the car as we were already paying for parking!

The room had nothing in it. No proper coffee machine or mini bar. The car park was packed and the tarmac had massive holes in it. I stayed in the same hotel chain in Oslo airport and this had way more than this hotel.

We are sorry

This hotel was really disappointing. We booked one room expressly with two twins beds room and aircondition. We wrote this our wish moreover during the booking in special reguirement box in websites as well. When we arrived, in the room was one king bed (not separated twin beds as we want). I went back to reception and the receptionist switched us the room and give me a new room card. Finally here was the twins beds, but it was the issue with aricondition. I call about it to reception and the guy from reception came to our room with air fan!!! because next, second one change of the room is not imposible, and he sad me that can't solve my! problem by the \"with a snap of the fingers\" and promissed solve the problem til tomorrow. He considered the problem solved. But it not happend til the end of our staying. we think that neither at level of room cleaning was not, as we know at Radisons hotels. We think that it is happen because of the information about the switching the rooms our new - switched - room wasn't changed in hotels IT system in first two days of our staying. Overall, the impression of the accommodation was rather negative, even though the breakfast, for example, was of a good standard. We are sorry.

Oslo experience at Radisson Blu Park Hotel, Oslo

I wanted to bring to your attention a few issues we encountered during our stay:
•The TV remote control was not working.
•There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash provided.
•There were not enough glasses or cutlery for three people, although the booking was made for three guests.

I would appreciate it if you could look into these matters to ensure a better experience for future guests.

This Hotel is in a Nordic country and doesn’t have a function sauna, which is surprising. They have a sauna but it’s not functioning. They have a ping pong table and no ping pong balls. It’s weird in so many ways like why won’t they give importance to these facilities. The room in the picture was different to the one which was given but the staff were friendly and the overall stay was good. Just disappointed with the facilities on offer

Definitely a budget hotel!!

Ok for the price. Had to ask for milk for the tea, which we were told they didn’t have any, even at the bar area! Asked at breakfast if we could have some milk and was told if we needed more than one cup that we would have to pay for it. Never been to a hotel that charged for milk for tea!!
Beds were just bases with thin mattress toppers on, not even real beds. Ours had a huge dip in the middle so woke up with severe back and shoulder pain as absolutely no support given in the beds.
Shower had previous persons shower gel all over the wall (as well as pubic hair :( on the floor and walls) so evidently hadn’t been cleaned in between guests.
Had to ask for fresh towels after a long day of sightseeing, last thing we needed!!

Near perfect but could use internet speed upgrades

Everything was great , my only issue was with the internet speed in my room. They ought to upgrade that. I believe I was getting around 1-14 mbps download depending on where I was in the room. They did offer a room change but then the speed improvement was at a slightly lesser category room. I decided to keep the original room and suffer the slow speeds.

Amazing stay

The hotel was modern, clean, and provided amenities like 24/7 drinks and coffee. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and having a wide range of choices always a bonus.

But what really stands out is the location - surrounded by beautiful fjords with amazing views! We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Radisson Blu

this property could be good, has to wait for room , check in was 3pm eventually got in around 3.50.. Bar and restaurant had one staff member running both areas. This staff was excellent but it would have been better and quicker service with one additional member of staff on to cover both areas. Hotel is a bit out the way but if you have hired a car easy to get to..

Overall a good experience. Next to a 24hours bus service ( Route 31 ) bus stop allow access to Oslo city center in about 25min. Great pathways to walk around and cycling. Hike along the lake at the rear of the hotel is a plus.

Our stay would have been great if it hadn’t been for the moth infestation inside of our room. We had dozens of moths inside of our room. I brought it up to the male staff member at the front desk and he only said “okay” no apology or offering anything, just “okay”. The rest of the facility was great and the female front counter staff were great to deal with and very helpful in showing me how to charge my car on the app.

It is close enough to downtown Oslo with train and bus on high frequency. Comfortable. The food choices are few and they don't have enough staff, ie. 40 minute waits for a meal, so I recommend staying but eating elsewhere.

Not quite my first choice but works in a pinch

The staff were great but the room was disappointing for a couple of reasons. The AC in my room never quite worked well for the entirety of my stay. I had it as low as 13 Celsius and I found myself sweating like crazy throughout the night. Additionally, the lack of an iron in the room but is worth disclosing to people checking in here, it’s not always a problem but I found myself waiting for quite a while in the mornings before work as there was a large event taking place and so the hotel was packed.

The staff were very pleasant to work with and the room was always clean, but I’m not sure I can recommend the hotel for a stay unless you’re in a pinch and need to stay in the area. Bar was nicer. The restaurant at the hotel was also a big pass. Just order using Wolt or get a bus into town.

Had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu hotel in Fernabuparken last week. The hotel is a 20 min bus journey distance from the city centre and very convenient to commute. The location and surrounding areas are quiet and calm. Breakfast was pretty good, many options to choose from. Service was fantastic, especially the front desk, always smiling and always ready to help.

Han som tok i mot oss ved innsjekk(mann med utenlandsk aksent),var super hyggelig. Dessverre var det det eneste å trekke frem. Kyllingsalaten i restauranten var ingen wow opplevelse. Bartenderne er ikke opplært i høflighet og det å lage drinker. Irish coffe smakte sølevann. Samme med kaffe-baylis. Vending maskiner i resepsjonen er smart,men hinsides priser og man måtte ha kode for å kjøpe alkohol. 630kroner for 3 bokser cider og en øl,galskap.

Fint, koslig og passe stort hotell. Rommet var moderne, romslig, rent og hadde god seng. Et stort pluss var at de hadde satt inn ovn på rommet, perfekt når det var -12 ute. Godt utvalg til frokost, god atmosfære i frokostsalen. Et perfekt valg av hotell hvis du skal på konsert i Unity Arena, ca 5-7 min gange. Også enkelt å komme seg hit og dit med bussholdeplasser like ved. Hotellet har parkering utenfor.

Minus: Flekker ved vasken og på diverse lister og vegger som enkelt kunne vaskes bort. Vanskelig å justere aircondition. Triste korridorer.

Synes ikke rommet fremsto som godt nok vasket. Det var hybelkaniner under sengen og støv på diverse overflater på rommet (inkl badet). Varmen på rommet var satt til rundt 25 grader. Det er litt for varmt for vår del. Tok tid før rommet nærmet seg behagelig sovetemperatur.

Veldige kjedelige rom, alt mørkegrått. Hadde håpet på litt mer som på bildene, som blå detlajer og brunt skinn, litt stiligere, men det var dessverre nistrist interiør. Veldig støvete, flekker i dusjen, synlige store støvdotter i ventilasjonsventilen i dusjen.

Hotellet skulle holde julestengt fra 22.12, og dermed dårlig service, lite utvalg i både mat og drikke. Vi fikk ikke isbiter, fordi isbitmaskinen hadde de skrudd av. Rommet var kaldt, ingen varme var på.
