Could offer better quality

The booking system didn't work, they didn't respond to messages, we were tired from travelling and took 20min to check in. Not sure who is to blame, hotels.com or the hotel.
Anyway, room request was sorted, but the sofa bed was quite awful. A a mattress topper is needed for it, as the mattress is too thin/old.
Nice people at the front of house, nice gym, nice breakfast, but these two points make it pretty mediocre.

The hotel was very well located to take the highway bus from TORP airport and a tram or marina walk to central Oslo. The hotel was clean and rooms well maintained. The area around the hotel had enough eating options and there was a nice food market and pizza option.
We had a room in the adjoining building, which was near to the motorway, so there was some noise.
Would definitely rate the variety of breakfast options included in price.

Decent breakfast

It was ok, we were in the further wing of the hotel and there is only access via the 8th floor or 1st so you had to get two lifts every time which was a bit of a pain. Also the bar was closed on a Saturday night which was annoying when we got back to the hotel and fancied a night cap. Definitely a mid week business hotel rather than for tourists

Great check-in. Helpful staff. An issue with our room that was looked after right away,. Good room cleaning/ linen . Terrific breakfast. All amenities either in room or available. One thing I would say is, when you leave your room check to make sure your door locks.

It was walkable distance to museums I wanted to visit, like the Norskfolkmuseum. Also a short walk to the Royal Palace, and Aker Brygge. I felt that it was overpriced compared to the room quality. That being said, the staff was excellent and helpful. No fault of theirs that Norway was an expensive travel destination, but I am very happy to have gone. If I went back I would definitely find the cheapest accommodation I could because I feel nothing was gained for having stayed in this room over any other.

You Must Stay in this hotel

This hotel is superb! I would place it at the very high end of a 3 star hotel! To be honest I’m not sure why this is not a 4 star hotel. It’s was better than some of the 4 and 5 star hotels 🏨 I’ve stayed in e.g. the Sheraton Turkey. The breakfast is beyond excellent and it’s FREE! It’s 5min walk from a train line and the hotel is surrounded by a few cafes and convenience stores.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at and I've stayed at numerous mid-range to high end hotels around the world. The hotel & room are so clean, warm contemporary nordic decor, very safe and business area, close 5 mins walk to public transportation. If you arrive late, you are out of luck

We all have been there. Flight delays make us late to a property and while you are stuck at the airport you are just looking forward to the room you booked.

So when I arrived at 21:00, I was exhausted and eager to go to my room.

But they gave my room someone else.
So I was stuck in a smaller room, even though I was charged for the full amount.
Like ordering a pizza, but only getting a slice.

Great, except the hard beds and...

This is a tough one to write, the property itself is in a wonderful location, the staff are kind, and the food is some of the best I have had while staying at a hotel. However the rooms are lacking. Hard HARD beds along with no where to store you clothes Be prepared to live out of your suit case.

Nice modern hotel

Upgraded a lot in the last few years. Was very tired and basic before but now has some great amenities. Gym excellent, breakfast one of the best around and restaurant/bar both first class. Staff are all great, have known some of them for years now and their service is as good now as it ever was

Da det var et officielt hotel til et fægte stævne, ville det have gjort en kæmpe forskel for fægterne at morgenmaden for dem kunne starte 15-30 min tidligere, da det ellers gjorde det umuligt at spise ordentligt og dermed stresse for meget. Morgenmaden var iøvrigt lækker og godt varieret (æggene kunne godt bruge lidt længere tid dog)
Derudover så var sengene lækre at sove i, men også lidt til den for bløde side.
WiFi koden ville være en god idé at have stående på bagsiden af lommen til værelseskortene så den altid er nem at finde

Booked a queen-size room ,and got a room different from the picture and separate bed. But this is the last problem. The mean problem is that the bathroom was not clean and even one of par of towel we got.

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Vom Flughafen hat man mit der Bahn eine perfekte Anbindung und es sind nur wenige Gehminuten von der Bahnstation zum Hotel.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Achten Stock mit einem herrlich großem Balkon. Die Betten war super bequem und dank der Vorhänge konnten wir das Zimmer so verdunkeln, dass die Nachtruhe nicht durch Tageslicht gestört wurde.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war der Hammer. Smoothies, frisches Obst, Gemüse, Joghurt, Müsli, Aufschnitt, warme Theke, … die Aufzählung könnte unendlich weiter gehen. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass hier jemand nicht satt wird.
Sollten wir nochmals nach Oslo fahren, würden wir definitiv wieder dort buchen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig ok.
