Tienen dos torres. Una que esta renovada y otra que no. Nos toco la que no estaba renovada, ademas no funcionaba el elevador a nuestro piso. La habitation era grande, cómoda pero muy viejita. Nos mudaron a la otra torre mas moderna y la habitación era hermosa pero muy venia mucho ruido de la calle. El desayuno buenísimo y la atención de todos excelente. Volvería y pediría una habitación no tan ruidosa porque no estoy acostumbrada a dormir con tanto ruido.

The room does not match the description and pictures, we booked an executive suite, which shows the space is 750 square feet. But it's actually a different one with no wood floor, just rough concrete floor. And the size is < 350 square feet.

The decoration is pretty old, and there furnitures and walls have obvious wear, the door locker is loose. And there's some smell of moldy smell

But the front desk is pretty helpful, they offered to switch back to the one as picture described in the second day.

The dryer is broken (please be aware not all of them has a laundry in unit), and it can only dry 3 small clothes at a time, or else it will stop working periodically.

The location is good, it's nearby grocery of 7-11 and pharmacies and has some restaurants nearby.

Parking is just for three cars and next to a mayor highways which even with double glass is noisy I slept two hours! I did not dare to go out again as I would not have parking

Decent property but the room was in horrible condition. Scratch marks all over the bed frame, toilet doesn’t flush correctly (had to open the lid and add water), and the floor was all dusty…I think the tiles on the floor are causing it to be difficult to sweep. The ac works well but it’s directly blowing on your face since it’s above the bed frame.

A pleasant surprise!

We were pleasantly surprised by this conveniently located, relatively small hotel. Rooms were spacious and very clean and comfortable for larger families, and service was exceptional, at every step along the way. Location was also convenient for getting around the museums and parks near the zoo/castille/anthro museum area. Not too far from La Condesa as well.

First, the pricing was fair, considering I was traveling alone. The property was conveniently located within walking distance from some of the main attractions, including the Bosque de Chapultepec, the Castle, Anthropology Museum, and Angel of Independence. The area was safe for me to walk to nearby locations in the early morning and night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant at the Terraza was delicious and had great views and atmosphere. My room and the hotel in general was very clean and quiet. This stay exceeded my expectations and will stay here again if I come back to Mexico City.

Property is very old. Mold all over bathroom. Ground in dirt everywhere. It’s just too old to be clean or comfortable but I bet when new it was a lovely place. The communication and service and people were excellent. The property itself bad but the workers wonderful. If stay ask high floor it’s not as noisy with a main busy highway below.

The staff were wonderful! The restaurant Superb. We never had a bad meal so good. However, the beds are hard as rocks and there are no extra blankets.
The kitchen area has no dish towels nor dish cleaning products. The staff cleans your dishes when they clean the room, with the same cleaning cloth used everywhere. This is unsanitary

This hotel was a great find. Our small two-room suite was extremely comfortable. The staff provided extra towels and a robe when we asked and did not have to be asked again. It’s right in the center of city activity, short walks to Chapultepec and Paseo de la Reforma. The small rooftop restaurant had a pianist and an eager bartender a couple nights. We will go back. (One mistake on the Expedia listing: the aupprt is 40 minutes away.)9

Nice place to stay but noisy if you get a room , as we did, over the busy intersection. We had one issue with an unpleasant door in our room (think sewage). When brought to management's attention, they moved us without question, to another more spacious suite.Service was excellent. Good location close to Metro and walking distance to Polanco area.

This is a suite property. the rooms are generous and clean. there is a small outfitted mini kitchen. The large windows allow light to fill the space, and there is a long view on the upper floors. The windows are fixed and do not open, but you would not want to open them due to the street noise, which is apparent at most hours except in the wee hours of the night. Breakfast is on the top floor covered by a tent material, so there is more street noise and indoors. It is a very pleasant space including a bar, and we took our evening meals there as well. The bed was comfortable and furnishings in good order. The breakfast is generous if you have inclusive breakfast, or order a la carte if not inclusive. Waiter Luis and waitress Sylvia were very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but there will be some periods during the day where front desk staff will not have any English, so you may need to try your Spanish or hand signals. The location is close to museums, parks and tourist attractions. We mostly walked and occasionally used Uber, but you could get the most tourist sites with a nearby bus or use the nearby Metro station if you are adventurous. We enjoyed our 6 day stay in Mexico City immensely and hope to return.

Great location within walking distance of the “Green Lung”, Chapultepec Castle (amazing) and the Anthropology Museum. Street food to five star also all within walking distance.
Staff were friendly and helpful and patient with our lack of Spanish. English spoken at site.
Room was spacious and clean. The hotel is on the main thoroughfare but surprisingly little traffic noise.
We enjoyed Mexico City and if we go back I’d stay at Contempo again.

Service and room need Improvement

Beds were to hard and the pictures in the add are a lot diffrent from the inside room. We got a junior suite and was a lot smaller that the picture. The internet was great and fast and reached almost 2 blocks away from hotel since we were eating near by a restaurant and internet still reached. Also be careful on extra charges, at checkout they were charging us a candy bar that we never even got because to overpriced. Yet the cleaning lady had a little girl when we left in the morning so my suggestion was that it was her daughter that got the candy and they tried charging it on us.

The suites are very well designed with 3 clearly separated areas to sleep, eat and work. The hotel is well managed with attention to details. The rooms are properly equipped (from the Crups Coffeemaker to the washer and dryer and the bath robe).
Despite being close to a freeway the noise was not an issue.

Nice room but very noisy. Difficult to sleep.

Hotel is right next to major freeway. Noise is unbearable and every time a heavy truck goes by the whole room shakes. Very difficult to get a good night sleep if you’re not a heavy sleeper.

What a gem of a hotel!

I stayed here during an emergency trip to Mexico City to visit my embassy. The silver lining of the trip was this hotel. The room was beautiful and had everything I needed and more. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it.
The staff were so friendly and the restaurant on the top floor was also great.

Located at the main cross road, heavy traffic and somewhat noisy even at midnight. Can feel it when heavy vehicle goes by. Windows cannot be opened but the room is not properly ventilated, there is air-conditioning in the bedroom only.

Although this hotel fronts a very large and busy street, it is a terrific place to stay, both for comfort and convenience. Within walking distance are the amazing archeological museum, museum of modern art, castle, park, many restaurants, a Metro station, and the embassy district. Our room on the second floor was clean and well-appointed, with the exception of having no reading lamps by the bed and a very peculiar bathroom faucet. Traffic noise was minimal thanks for the double wall of glass and the street trees that shaded our windows. The nicely decorated lounge/restaurant served a great breakfast and offered a relaxing place to sit and have drinks and snacks.

One is fist taken aback by the hotel location at a busy intersection and its unimpressive lobby. But once that is accepted, it is a superb hotel for the price. Room was large, full of light, clean, and has all the needed comforts, including small kitchen and washing machine and dryer. Nothing is close to everything in Mexico City, but the hotel is walking distance from many museums, and not farther than a US$ 10 Uber ride from almost any place you may want to go. Add to that a great restaurant bar on the top floor terrace.

The Suites Contempo is an excellent hotel right next to Chapultepec Park. The hotel restaurant is good and cabs/uber drivers have no trouble find the address. It was a good base for exploring Mexico City. The room was clean with many extra conveniences. The room isn't the best for working as there isn't a lot of light, but it is good for tourists.

Couldn't have chosen a better place for the space & price. Convenient & safe neighborhood with practical accommodations (kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and if you need to do laundry, in room washer & dryer). It's like a home away from home but with room service!

Suite Contempo was an excellent experience. The staff was outstanding. They went out of their way to accommodate anything I asked for. They parked my car in the lobby lot every day. The location was perfect for me as I wanted to be near Chapultepec park for the N.F.L. fanfest experience. I walked there in 3 minutes. The room was large and very clean. Starbucks was right downstairs and other small stores and currency exchange were only a minute away.

We had a pleasant stay at Suites Contempo, allthough the room could be cleaner. The carpet had a lot of stains. The bed and pillows were great. Sheets were ery clean. Towels were clean but a bit old (should renew them). It looks better at the pictures than it is in real. It was O.K. for the price we paid (half the normal rate).

This is an apartment rather than hotel. As other reviews, room is very out dated and not enough lights. Carpet is extremely dirty but staff said they are planning to change it soon. Location is close to many restaurants and nice neighborhoods.

Got to hotel around 3:00 and only one room of two reserved available. Had to cross through garage to get to new rooms above Starbucks. Upgraded on other room - great space, very clean - ask for room on Calle Tolstoi side - much quieter. Had trouble with Internet but staff quickly reset modem. Hot water in showers was not consistent. Good bathroom products.
Really strange: key for Room 501 opened every door on 5th floor !

Pretty good but.....

We stayed here after a few nights in a different hotel in a different part of Mexico City (we left Mexico City to travel further south for a day). I wanted to stay in an area that was near the Anthropological Museum and the park. There were not tons of options that I could find so I found this. We stayed two nights and it wasn't a horrible experience or anything, but our previous hotel was so much nicer and so much better located. (Another strange thing was the hotel was located at a very busy intersection that was almost freeway-like. It was very hard getting to the hotel while you were walking around. It's hard to explain unless you were there.) The suite was huge; it had a separate room for our son and a king-sized bed in the main room and a kitchen-dining area with refrigerator and stove (even a toaster!). There was a great view too. The only complaint is that it felt kind of grungy, like the carpets needed cleaning. The bathroom was clean, but the walls had marks all over them and the floor felt uneven. It was a weird dynamic as the room was so nicely decorated and spacious. The staff were very accommodating and nice. I think its a good place for a night or two, but it wasn't as nice as staying near the Zocalo where we had previously been. It was a good deal tho and I would recommend it, just not for a whole stay in Mexico City.

The staff were awesome and helped me with a serious problem I had shortly after I arrived in Mexico. Without their quick assistance and numerous calls, I would have forever lost my laptop which I had left in a cab. They stayed on the issue until the cab driver turned it in!

A very nice place to see Mexico City from.

The Suites are nested between the parks with all the museums, and the main city, making it an excellent location from which you can walk to most places, including most of the embassies. For what I paid, I was very happy with the room I had. My infant and I wanted for nothing... it was all at our finger tips. I liked the art work throughout the building as well, plus they had a free laundry facility for guests. Like I said, it was excellent value for money.

Great hotel 1 block from Paseo de la Reforma, shopping and services available in walking distance
Builtin kitchen allows to have the breakfast you have at home, reducing the food change problems, typical while travelling.
Superama market in walking distance and OXXO and 7 Eleven 2 blocks away.
The hotel staff is great, always there to help with whatever you need.

not all that we expected

Access problems with unstable internet, even after trouble shoot with hotel staff. Breakfast was sugar pops, milk and warm yogurt. Air conditioner was not regulated for consistency. Guest bed was hard as a rock and no ventilation in second bedroom. Hotel staff were attentive,informative, friendly and accommodating. Starbucks next door was a plus. Restaurants in the area are not recommended. Quirky lighting switches.

Cleanliness:

-One of the worst places I have stayed in. The rooms are very dirty, there were stains on the carpet and on the sofa.

-When you enter the room the air feels dense and humid.

Location:

- The hotel is in front of a very busy street and next to a karaoke-bar. Even though they have sound-proof windows you can hear the LOUD music from the karaoke-bar. We couldn’t sleep! We called the front desk at 1:00 am and they told us that the music would stop soon nevertheless the music played after 3:00 am!

I do not recommend it! It is not worth the price. We stayed at a nicer hotel in the city center for the same price.
