Every single thing about Unico Hotel d’Arte was exceptional. We arrived late at night & were greeted so warmly. They were well prepared for us and very personal & attentive/helpful towards us from that moment on (eg, knew our names, helped us park our car and get settled, knew my husband’s birthday & unexpectedly brought us a Prosecco toast!) The hotel is small & intimate, but is designed with meticulous & stylish attention to detail: from large well-placed windows (with incredible motorized blackout shades!) to unique pieces of art everywhere, a stunning infinity pool overlooking the gorgeous sea & coastline, a rooftop patio with a large hot tub and views for miles! The (included) breakfast is abundant & gourmet, with fresh squeezed juice and made-to-order omelettes with table-service on the poolside patio. So elegant and delicious! And in addition to the comfort, privacy and beauty of the physical premises (bravo! to the architect and designer), we most enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of every single staff member:

The room on the ground floor did not feel private—the balcony opened out right above the street, but they did what they could to build brush around so nobody could see in. The pool is stunning. There's a hot tub on the rooftop patio with gorgeous views of the sea from both the roof and the pool area. The service to the pool and hot tub was superior. Our afternoon cocktails came with delicious treats. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We hope to return one day. We loved it.

We have travelled to many places around the world and the Hotel Unico d’art is right up there with the very best. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Monica who along with the rest of the staff could not have been more warm and friendly and helpful to us. Our room with a large terrace and private large jacuzzi was fantastic. The pool area overlooked the sea and provided a very quiet and tranquil atmosphere to enjoy. There are ample sunbeds although we often had the whole pool to ourselves. The staff were always available to serve drinks and snacks during the day or evening. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice and a menu to select hot food if desired. The rooftop terrace provided a lovely area to relax and enjoy the wonderful views of Mondello Bay. The hotel is an easy walk into Mondello square where there are numerous restaurants to choose from . The hotel is right on the coast and a short walk to the beaches. We had the best holiday here and will definitely be back again soon.

my husband and I spent 8 days at Unico and loved every second of it !!! beautiful property, the room we had overlooking the water was amazing, clean, and the hospitality was unmatched. The friendliest staff that went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. the breakfast/ cappucinos in the morning were delicious! super close to the sqaure, the beaches, and a gazillion restuarants. we cant wait to come back!!!!

Loved it here. Amazing view. The staff was so friendly, and the location in Mondello was walking distance to everything in Mondello. Highly recommend having a car though to get to the rest of Palermo. I usually don't stay at the same place twice, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back here.

The facilities are beautiful, clean, and private with a stunning infinity pool and rooftop deck great for sunset and a nightcap. The staff go far out of their way to help and were so kind. The grounds and building are beautiful, with a beautiful art collection, delicious breakfast, multiple bars available, and rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the Sea. Water is across street with unobstructed views. Beds are very comfortable. Shower and bath have amazing pressure and unlimited hot water. The downside is there is no elevator, the pool is not heated, and the towels need replacing, they are all frayed. Small but significant for the price you are paying per night. The service is 5 stars and staff are always helpful..

Best place to stay if you’re visiting Palermo
We went for a romantic getaway. We wanted a seaside town with a very relaxing atmosphere and a convenient hotel and a convenient and safe location. This was perfect. The staff was unbelievable the food and the breakfast was awesome. They were very very personable. Excellent private parking. Easy access to the local shops and the city center on the beach. Excellent walking everything was just perfect.

This property is the perfect property for a stay in Mondello! It is so well appointed with lovely amenities. It is a boutique hotel in the true sense. The rooms included robes and beach towels for convenience. Our room had a lovely balcony view over looking the street and a public parking area where people observe the sunset. We were there during the quieter part of summer so noise was not an issue. The walk to the lidos is about 15 min. The hotel offers rental of e-bikes for the day which was convenient for getting around. There is also a private parking lot for no extra cost which is extremely convenient given the scarcity of parking. Room service was excellent and the breakfast with made to order omlette is perfect! The grounds are so peaceful and well manicured and made for a lovely place to relax. Our junior suite was perfect with a beautiful front balcony and rear terrace with jacuzzi! Perfect

Anna was on duty during most of our stay and she was so approachable and helpful. Rosalba was also great but we did not over lap with her very much. We would love to stay again.

Booked this hotel from August 10-13. Upon arrival, received a call of a family member being rushed to hospital. Advised front desk that we would not be able to stay for our reservation. Hotel owner, Monica Mirri, was off property and communicating with her staff. Refused to speak to us and refused to accommodate our emergency situation. Refused to refund us our money entirely unless “she sold the room to someone else for the dates”. Offered a voucher which wouldn’t work for us as we are from Canada and were leaving Italy shortly afterwards. Hotel staff refused to give us the copies they made of our passports so after the receptionist, Rosalba, mistakenly dropped the papers - I picked them up. They accused me of taking with force, the owner threatened to call the police on me and use legal action against me because I have the entire occurrence recorded. Expedia has yet to help me achieve my money back for a service I did not use. Monica Mirri is a terrible owner and I would advise anyone to avoid this hotel at all costs. I have video recordings and documentation from the hotel that she would only consider refunding my money if she secured another booking. This is not how hospitality works. I will be pursing further action until I am compensated.

This hotel is a gem!!! Large room with a balcony and a direct sea view. Large bathroom. Very stylish. Mondello is the upscale beach town nearest Palermo. As Palermo is a rather gritty and crowded city, staying at this house and commuting to Palermo for meetings or siteseeing is a realistic option. As it's an easy 20 minute drive to the airport, we stayed here the night before an early morning flight. We recommend this property highly.

Was an excellent two night stay to relax after almost two weeks of traveling Italy. Staff were very accommodating and the area was very quiet at night as it mins walk from busy area of Mondello. Communication was easy and location was great, room with a balcony to have wine with a view of the sunset is amazing.
